Introduce the notation: $\mathbb{Z}$ is the set of integers, $\bar {\mathbb{Z}}={\mathbb{Z}} \cup \{-\infty, +\infty\},{\mathbb{R}}_+^2 =\{x=(x_1,x_2) \in {\mathbb{R}}^2; x_1>0,x_2>0\}$ , $g_{k,m} (x,\alpha,h)= \int\limits_0^1 {g_1 (\frac{(k+u)h_1 - x_1}{\alpha_1})g_2(\frac{(m+u)h_2 - x_2}{\alpha_2})}du$ , where $g_i :\mathbb{R} \to \mathbb{R},x \in \mathbb{R}^2 ,\alpha ,h \in \mathbb{R}_ + ^2 $ . Under certain conditions on the functions g 1, g 2, we prove that the system of functions $g_{k,m} (x,\alpha^(n), h^(n)) (k,m \in \bar {\mathbb{Z}})$ , where $\alpha ^{\left( n \right)} ,h^{\left( n \right)} \in \mathbb{R}_ + ^2 $ are arbitrary infinitesimal sequences, is complete in the space C $\mathbb{R}^2 $ of uniformly continuous bounded functions f equipped with the norm $||f|| = \mathop {\sup }\limits_{x \in \mathbb{R}^2 } |f(x)|$ . Starting with the functions g k,m , it is possible to construct a method for uniform approximating in $\mathbb{R}^2 $ any continuous function of bounded variation in the sense of Hardy. An error estimate is derived in terms of the second order moduli of continuity. Based on the obtained results, we discuss in detail the accuracy of uniform approximation of functions of several variables by linear functions. The error estimates are derived by using second order moduli of continuity. We pay a particular attention to sharpness of constants. Bibliography: 8 titles.  相似文献

We take a new approach to obtaining necessary and sufficient conditions for the incompleteness of exponential polynomials in L p α ,where L p α is the weighted Banach space of complex continuous functions f defined on the real axis R satisfying +∞ ∞ |f(t)| p e -α(t) dt) 1/p ,1 p ∞,and α(t) is a nonnegative continuous function defined on the real axis R.In this paper,the upper density of the sequence which forms the exponential polynomials is not required to be finite.In the study of weighted polynomial approximation,consideration of the case is new.  相似文献

We establish real Paley-Wiener theorems for the Jacobi-Dunkl transform on ${\mathbb{R}}$ . More precisely, we characterize the functions in the generalized Schwartz space ${\mathcal{S}^{r}_{\alpha , \beta}(\mathbb{R})}$ and in ${L^{p}_{{A}_{\alpha , \beta}} \mathbb{R})}$ whose Jacobi-Dunkl transform has bounded, unbounded, convex and nonconvex support. Finally, we study the spectral problem on the generalized tempered distributions ${\mathcal{S}^{'r}_{\alpha , \beta}(\mathbb{R})}$ .  相似文献

In this work, for a given smooth, generic Hamiltonian ${H : \mathbb{S}^{1} \times \mathbb{T}^{2n} \rightarrow \mathbb{R}}$ on the torus ${\mathbb{T}^{2n} = \mathbb{R}^{2n}/\mathbb{Z}^{2n}}$ we construct a chain isomorphism ${\Phi_{*} : (C_{*}(H), \partial^{M}_{*}) \rightarrow (C_{*}(H), \partial^{F}_{*})}$ between the Morse complex of the Hamiltonian action AH on the free loop space of the torus ${\Lambda_{0}(\mathbb{T}^{2n})}$ and the Floer complex. Though both complexes are generated by the critical points of A H , their boundary operators differ. Therefore, the construction of ${\Phi}$ is based on counting the moduli spaces of hybrid-type solutions which involves stating a new non-Lagrangian boundary value problem for Cauchy–Riemann type operators not yet studied in Floer theory. We finally want to note that the problem is completely symmetric. So we also could construct an isomorphism ${\Psi_{*} : (C_{*}(H), \partial^{F}_{*}) \rightarrow (C_{*}(H), \partial^{M}_{*})}$ .  相似文献

We consider proper holomorphic maps ${\pi : D\rightarrow G}$ , where D and G are domains in ${\mathbb{C}^{n}}$ . Let ${\alpha\in \mathcal{C}(G,\mathbb{R}_{ > 0})}$ . We show that every π induces some subspace H of ${\mathbb{A}^{2}_{\alpha\circ\pi}(D)}$ such that ${\mathbb{A}^{2}_{\alpha}(G)}$ is isometrically isomorphic to H via some unitary operator Γ. Using this isomorphism we construct the orthogonal projection onto H, and we derive Bell’s transformation formula for the weighted Bergman kernel function under proper holomorphic mappings. As a consequence of the formula, we get that the tetrablock is not a Lu Qi-Keng domain.  相似文献

We prove general boundary limit theorems of abelian type for quotients of functions defined in the half space . The functions considered are defined as convolutions of a kernel with Borel measures defined on the boundary . Our theorems are of the form
where the approach to the limit in question is either non-tangential (Theorems 3.4 and 3.3), or radial (Theorem 3.2). The key feature is the relation of subordination in the sense of Bochner between the two kernels and . Our results generalize many known ones, such as the abelian theorem of Doob and that of Armitage for relative harmonic functions, and the results of Watson and Doob for Parabolic functions.  相似文献

Let Q(u,v)=|u+vz|2 be a positive-definite quadratic form with a complex parameter z=x+iy in the upper-half plane. The Epstein zeta-function attached to Q is initially defined by for Re s>1, where the term with m=n=0 is to be omitted. We deduce complete asymptotic expansions of as y→+∞ (Theorem 1 in Sect. 2), and of its weighted mean value (with respect to y) in the form of a Laplace-Mellin transform of (Theorem 2 in Sect. 2). Prior to the proofs of these asymptotic expansions, the meromorphic continuation of over the whole s-plane is prepared by means of Mellin-Barnes integral transformations (Proposition 1 in Sect. 3). This procedure, differs slightly from other previously known methods of the analytic continuation, gives a new alternative proof of the Fourier expansion of (Proposition 2 in Sect. 3). The use of Mellin-Barnes type of integral formulae is crucial in all aspects of the proofs; several transformation properties of hypergeometric functions are especially applied with manipulation of these integrals. Let be the classical kernel density estimator based on a kernel K and n independent random vectors X i each distributed according to an absolutely continuous law on . It is shown that the processes , , converge in law in the Banach space , for many interesting classes of functions or sets, some -Donsker, some just -pregaussian. The conditions allow for the classical bandwidths h n that simultaneously ensure optimal rates of convergence of the kernel density estimator in mean integrated squared error, thus showing that, subject to some natural conditions, kernel density estimators are ‘plug-in’ estimators in the sense of Bickel and Ritov (Ann Statist 31:1033–1053, 2003). Some new results on the uniform central limit theorem for smoothed empirical processes, needed in the proofs, are also included.   相似文献

Under some condition on the partition λ′ parametrizing ${\mathcal{O}^{\prime}}$ , we prove that, if λ is the partition obtained from λ by adding a column on the very left, and ${\mathcal{O}}$ is the nilpotent coadjoint orbit parametrized by λ, then ${\mathcal{O}_\mathbb{C}= \tau (\tau^{\prime -1}(\mathcal{O}_\mathbb{C}^{\prime}))}$ , where ${\tau, \tau^{\prime}}$ are the moment maps. Moreover, if ${chc(\hat\mu_{\mathcal{O}^{\prime}}) \neq 0}$ , where chc is the infinitesimal version of the Cauchy-Harish-Chandra integral, then the Weyl group representation attached by Wallach to ${\mu_{\mathcal{O}^{\prime}}}$ with corresponds to ${\mathcal{O}_\mathbb{C}}$ via the Springer correspondence.  相似文献

We prove optimal embeddings for nonlinear approximation spaces $\mathcal{A}^{\alpha}_q$ , in terms of weighted Lorentz sequence spaces, with the weights depending on the democracy functions of the basis. As applications we recover known embeddings for N-term wavelet approximation in L p , Orlicz, and Lorentz norms. We also study the ??greedy classes?? ${\mathcal{G}_{q}^{\alpha}}$ introduced by Gribonval and Nielsen, obtaining new counterexamples which show that ${\mathcal{G}_{q}^{\alpha}}\not=\mathcal{A}^{\alpha}_q$ for most non-democratic unconditional bases.  相似文献

In 2000, Reimer proved that a positive weight quadrature rule on the unit sphere has the property of quadrature regularity. Hesse and Sloan used a related property, called Property (R) in their work on estimates of quadrature error on . The constants related to Property (R) for a sequence of positive weight quadrature rules on can be estimated by using a variation on Reimer’s bounds on the sum of the quadrature weight within a spherical cap, with Jacobi polynomials of the form , in combination with the Sturm comparison theorem. A recent conjecture on monotonicities of Jacobi polynomials would, if true, provide improved estimates for these constants. The work was carried out while the author was a PhD student at the School of Mathematics, University of New South Wales.  相似文献
