The present paper proposes a general theory for $\left( \mathcal{Z}_{1}, \mathcal{Z}_{2}\right) $ -complete partially ordered sets (alias $\mathcal{Z} _{1}$ -join complete and $\mathcal{Z}_{2}$ -meet complete partially ordered sets) and their Stone-like representations. It is shown that for suitably chosen subset selections $\mathcal{Z}_{i}$ (i?=?1,...,4) and $\mathcal{Q} =\left( \mathcal{Z}_{1},\mathcal{Z}_{2},\mathcal{Z}_{3},\mathcal{Z} _{4}\right) $ , the category $\mathcal{Q}$ P of $\left( \mathcal{Z}_{1},\mathcal{Z}_{2}\right) $ -complete partially ordered sets and $\left( \mathcal{Z}_{3},\mathcal{Z}_{4}\right) $ -continuous (alias $\mathcal{ Z}_{3}$ -join preserving and $\mathcal{Z}_{4}$ -meet preserving) functions forms a useful categorical framework for various order-theoretical constructs, and has a close connection with the category $\mathcal{Q}$ S of $\mathcal{Q}$ -spaces which are generalizations of topological spaces involving subset selections. In particular, this connection turns into a dual equivalence between the full subcategory $ \mathcal{Q}$ P s of $\mathcal{Q}$ P of all $\mathcal{Q}$ -spatial objects and the full subcategory $\mathcal{Q}$ S s of $\mathcal{Q}$ S of all $\mathcal{Q}$ -sober objects. Here $\mathcal{Q}$ -spatiality and $\mathcal{Q}$ -sobriety extend usual notions of spatiality of locales and sobriety of topological spaces to the present approach, and their relations to $\mathcal{Z}$ -compact generation and $\mathcal{Z}$ -sobriety have also been pointed out in this paper.  相似文献

We consider the theory of categories enriched in an involutive quantaloid : the -*-categories. After giving an introduction to involutive quantaloids and nuclei, we use matrices with entries in to define -*-categories. Then we examine the relations between two kinds of morphisms between them, the functors and the *-maps, to provide a basis to study completeness properties. These results are used to provide a definition of pseudo-presheaves, presheaves and sheaves on involutive quantaloids in order to get a generalization of presheaves and sheaves on sites. Finally a characterization of these sheaves in terms of covers and compatible families is presented.   相似文献

Given a frame F = {f j } for a separable Hilbert space H, we introduce the linear subspace HpFH^{p}_{F} of H consisting of elements whose frame coefficient sequences belong to the ℓ p -space, where 1 ≤ p < 2. Our focus is on the general theory of these spaces, and we investigate different aspects of these spaces in relation to reconstructions, p-frames, realizations and dilations. In particular we show that for closed linear subspaces of H, only finite dimensional ones can be realized as HpFH^{p}_{F}-spaces for some frame F. We also prove that with a mild decay condition on the frame F the frame expansion of any element in HFpH_{F}^{p} converges in both the Hilbert space norm and the ||·|| F, p -norm which is induced by the ℓ p -norm.  相似文献

In this paper we investigate finite rank operators in the Jacobson radical of Alg( ), where are nests. For integers m ≥ 3 and 1 ≤ ℓ ≤ m − 1, we study the eigenvalue problems − u (z) + [( − 1)(iz) m  − P(iz)]u(z) = λu(z) with the boundary conditions that u(z) decays to zero as z tends to infinity along the rays argz=-\fracp2±\frac(l+1)pm+2\arg z=-\frac{\pi}{2}\pm \frac{(\ell+1)\pi}{m+2} in the complex plane, where P is a polynomial of degree at most m − 1. We provide asymptotic expansions of the eigenvalues λ n . Then we show that if the eigenvalue problem is PT\mathcal{PT}-symmetric, then the eigenvalues are all real and positive with at most finitely many exceptions. Moreover, we show that when gcd(m,l)=1\gcd(m,\ell)=1, the eigenvalue problem has infinitely many real eigenvalues if and only if one of its translations or itself is PT\mathcal{PT}-symmetric. Also, we will prove some other interesting direct and inverse spectral results.  相似文献

H. P. Gumm and T. Schröder stated a hypothesis that the preservation of preimages by a functor T for which |T1| = 1 is equivalent to the satisfaction of the class equality ${{\mathcal {HS}}(\tt {K}) = {\mathcal {SH}}(\tt {K})}$ for any class K of T-coalgebras. Erd?s and Selfridge [3] proved that a product of consecutive integers can never be a perfect power. That is, the equation x(x?+?1)(x?+?2)...(x?+?(m???1))?=?y n has no solutions in positive integers x,m,n where m, n?>?1 and y?∈?Q. We consider the equation $$ (x-a_1)(x-a_2) \ldots (x-a_k) + r = y^n $$ where 0?≤?a 1?<?a 2?<???<?a k are integers and, with r?∈?Q, n?≥?3 and we prove a finiteness theorem for the number of solutions x in Z, y in Q. Following that, we show that, more interestingly, for every nonzero integer n?>?2 and for any nonzero integer r which is not a perfect n-th power for which the equation admits solutions, k is bounded by an effective bound.  相似文献

In the present, we introduce and study the G-\mathcal{G-}inhomogeneous Markov system of high order, which is a more general in many respects stochastic process than the known inhomogeneous Markov system. We define the inhomogeneous superficial razor cut mixture transition distribution model extending for the homogeneous case the idea of the mixture transition model. With the introduction of the appropriate vector stochastic process and the establishment of relationships among them, we study the asymptotic behaviour of the G-\mathcal{G-}inhomogeneous Markov system of high order. In the form of two theorems, the asymptotic behaviour of the inherent G-\mathcal{G-}inhomogeneous Markov chain and the expected and relative expected population structure of the G-\mathcal{G-}inhomogeneous Markov system of high order, are provided under assumptions easily met in practice. Finally, we provide an illustration of the present results in a manpower system.  相似文献

In this paper we prove that the Hurwitz space \(\mathcal {H}_{9,8}\), which parameterizes 8-sheeted covers of \({\mathbb P }^1\) by curves of genus 9, is unirational. Our construction leads to an explicit Macaulay2 code, which will randomly produce a nodal curve of degree 8 of geometric genus 9 with 12 double points and together with a pencil of degree 8.  相似文献

Let be a strictly pseudoconvex bounded domain in with C 2 boundary . If a subnormal m-tuple T of Hilbert space operators has the spectral measure of its minimal normal extension N supported on , then T is referred to as a -isometry. Using some non-trivial approximation theorems in the theory of several complex variables, we establish a commutant lifting theorem for those -isometries whose (joint) Taylor spectra are contained in a special superdomain Ω of . Further, we provide a function-theoretic characterization of those subnormal tuples whose Taylor spectra are contained in Ω and that are quasisimilar to a certain (fixed) -isometry T (of which the multiplication tuple on the Hardy space of the unit ball in is a rather special example). We show that the principal block O0\mathcal {O}_0 of the BGG category O\mathcal {O} for a semisimple Lie algebra \frak g\frak g acts faithfully on itself via exact endofunctors which preserve tilting modules, via right exact endofunctors which preserve projective modules and via left exact endofunctors which preserve injective modules. The origin of all these functors is tensoring with arbitrary (not necessarily finite-dimensional) modules in the category O\mathcal {O}. We study such functors, describe their adjoints and show that they give rise to a natural (co)monad structure on O0\mathcal {O}_0. Furthermore, all this generalises to parabolic subcategories of O0\mathcal {O}_0. As an example, we present some explicit computations for the algebra \fraksl3\frak{sl}_3.  相似文献
