Representations of quantum permutation algebras

We develop a combinatorial approach to the quantum permutation algebras, as Hopf images of representations of type π:A_s(n)→B(H). We discuss several general problems, including the commutativity and cocommutativity ones, the existence of tensor product or free wreath product decompositions, and the Tannakian aspects of the construction. The main motivation comes from the quantum invariants of the complex Hadamard matrices: we show here that, under suitable regularity assumptions, the computations can be performed up to n=6.     

Representations of deformed preprojective algebras and quantum groups

Let (Γ,I) be the bound quiver of a cyclic quiver whose vertices correspond to the Abelian group Zd. In this paper, we list all indecomposable representations of (Γ,I) and give the conditions that those representations of them can be extended to representations of deformed preprojective algebra Πλ(Γ,I). It is shown that those representations given by extending indecomposable representations of (Γ,I) are all simple representations of Πλ(Γ,I). Representations of pointed Hopf algebras and their Drinfel'd quantum doubles

We study representations of nontrivial liftings of nilpotent type of quantum linear spaces and their Drinfel'd quantum doubles. We construct a family of Verma-type modules in both cases and prove a parametrization theorem for simple modules. We compute the Loewy and socle series of Verma modules under a mild restriction on the datum of a lifting. We find bases and dimensions of simple modules.     

Representations of bornological algebras

Bounded representations of bornological algebras are considered. The left and right bornological radicals in bornological algebras are introduced. It is shown that the left (right) bornological radical of a bornological algebra A is equal to the intersection of all bornologically closed maximal regular left (respectively, right) ideals of A, and both these radicals of A and the Jacobson radical of A coincide if A is an advertive and simplicial bornological algebra (in particular, a bornological Q-algebra). Representations of twisted current algebras

We use evaluation representations to give a complete classification of the finite-dimensional simple modules of twisted current algebras. This generalizes and unifies recent work on multiloop algebras, current algebras, equivariant map algebras, and twisted forms.     

Representations of polyadic-like equality algebras

Assuming the usual finite axiom schema of polyadic equality algebras, axiom (P10) is changed to a stronger version. It is proved that infinite dimensional, polyadic equality algebras satisfying the resulting system of axioms are representable. The foregoing stronger axiom is not given with a first order schema. The latter is to be expected knowing the negative results for the Halmos schema axiomatizability of the representable, infinite dimensional, polyadic equality algebras. Furthermore, Halmos’ well-known classical theorem that “locally finite polyadic equality algebras of infinite dimension α are representable” is generalized for locally-\({\mathfrak{m}}\) polyadic equality algebras, where \({\mathfrak{m}}\) is an arbitrary infinite cardinal and \({\mathfrak{m}}\) < α. Also, a neat embedding theorem is proved for the foregoing classes of polyadic-like equality algebras (a neat embedding theorem does not exists for polyadic equality algebras).     

Representations of nilpotent Lie algebras

Let (L,[p]) a finite dimensional nilpotent restricted Lie algebra of characteristic p 3 3, c ? L^*p \geq 3, \chi \in L^* a linear form. In this paper we study the representation theory of the reduced universal enveloping algebra u(L,c)u(L,\chi ). It is shown that u(L,c)u(L,\chi ) does not admit blocks of tame representation type. As an application, we prove that the nonregular AR-components of u(L,c)u(L,\chi ) are of types \Bbb Z [A_￥ ]\Bbb Z [A_\infty ] or \Bbb Z [A_n]/(t)\Bbb Z [A_n]/(\tau ).     

Representations of group planar algebras

We explicitly find out the irreducible representations of the planar algebra corresponding to the subfactor arising from the action of a finite group. We also answer the question posed by Vaughan Jones on the radius of convergence of the dimension of a representation in the affirmative for the case of group planar algebras.     

Representations of skew polynomial algebras

C. De Concini and C. Procesi have proved that in many cases the degree of a skew polynomial algebra is the same as the degree of the corresponding quasi polynomial algebra. We prove a slightly more general result. In fact we show that in case the skew polynomial algebra is a P.I. algebra, then its degree is the degree of the quasi polynomial algebra.

Our argument is then applied to determine the degree of some algebras given by generators and relations.

     

Representations of alternative algebras and superalgebras

This paper is a survey of results on representations of alternative algebras and superalgebras. In particular, new results of the authors on the subject are presented.     

Representations of Frobenius-type triangular matrix algebras

The aim of this paper is mainly to build a new representation-theoretic realization of finite root systems through the so-called Frobenius-type triangular matrix algebras by the method of reflection functors over any field. Finally, we give an analog of APR-tilting module for this class of algebras. The major conclusions contains the known results as special cases, e.g., that for path algebras over an algebraically closed field and for path algebras with relations from symmetrizable cartan matrices. Meanwhile, it means the corresponding results for some other important classes of algebras, that is, the path algebras of quivers over Frobenius algebras and the generalized path algebras endowed by Frobenius algebras at vertices.
