Two new azido-Co(II) complexes with pyrazine carboxylato ligands, [Co(N(3))(L)·H(2)O](n) (L = pyrazine-2-carboxylato) (1) and [CoNa(N(3))(2)(L)](n) (2), have been obtained by carefully tuning the Co(II):N(3)(-) ratio. Here we present the structural and magnetic characterization of these new species. Modulation of the coordination environment of Co(II) leads to a variation of the magnetic properties of the obtained compounds. Complex 1 exhibits ferromagnetically coupled [Co(2)] units that form the rungs of the ladder with a nearly negligible coupling between these units, while complex 2 is a 2D arrangement of 1D Co(II) single-chain magnets.  相似文献

Four new neutral copper-azido polymers [Cu(4)(N(3))(8)(Me-hmpz)(2)](n) (1), [Cu(4)(N(3))(8)(men)(2)](n) (2), [Cu(5)(N(3))(10)(N,N-dmen)(2)](n) (3) and [Cu(5)(N(3))(10)(N,N'-dmen)(5)](n) (4) [Me-hmpz = 1-methylhomopiperazine; men = N-methylethylenediamine; N,N-dmen = N,N-dimethylethylenediamine and N,N'-dmen = N,N'-dimethylethylenediamine] have been synthesized by using various molar equivalents of the chelating diamine ligands with Cu(NO(3))(2)·3H(2)O and an excess of NaN(3). Single-crystal X-ray structures show that the basic asymmetric units of 1 and 2 are very similar, but the overall 1D structures were found to be quite different. Complex 3 with a different composition was found to be 2D in nature, while the 1D complex 4 with 1 : 1 metal to diamine ratio presented several new structural features. Cryomagnetic susceptibility measurements over a wide range of temperature were corroborated with density functional theory calculations (B3LYP functional) performed on the complexes 1-3 to provide a qualitative theoretical interpretation of their overall magnetic behavior.  相似文献

Two novel three-dimensional coordination polymers [Cu(6)(N(3))(12)(N-Eten)(2)](n) (1) (N-Eten=N-ethylethylenediamine) and {[Cu(9)(N(3))(18)(1,2-pn)(4)].H(2)O}(n) (2) (1,2-pn=1,2-diaminopropane) have been synthesized by the self-assembly reactions of Cu(NO(3))(2).3H(2)O, NaN(3) and small diamine ligands. Their molecular structures were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Complex 1 is composed of a neutral 3D coordination framework based on unprecedented hexanuclear copper(ii) clusters which features three types of bridging modes for azide (mu-1,1, mu-1,3 and mu-1,1,3). Complex 2 is a novel 3D coordination polymer featuring octanuclear copper-azido clusters and [Cu(diamine)(2)](2+) units which are linked by azido bridges. Magnetic studies for complex show ferromagnetic ordering at 3.5 K, where the azido bridges mediate ferromagnetic coupling between adjacent Cu(II) ions. The magnetic data for 1 were fitted to a uniform hexanuclear copper model which yielded g=2.21, J=6.26 cm(-1), zJ'=0.39 cm(-1). Complex 2 shows ferromagnetic coupling in the octanuclear unit and antiferromagnetic interaction between neighboring units.  相似文献

Four new neutral copper azido polymers, [Cu(4)(N(3))(8)(L(1))(2)](n) (1), [Cu(4)(N(3))(8)(L(2))(2)](n) (2), [Cu(4)(N(3))(8)(L(3))(2)](n) (3), and [Cu(9)(N(3))(18)(L(4))(4)](n) (4) [L(1-4) are formed in situ by reacting pyridine-2-carboxaldehyde with 2-[2-(methylamino)ethyl]pyridine (mapy, L(1)), N,N-dimethylethylenediamine (N,N-dmen, L(2)), N,N-diethylethylenediamine (N,N-deen, L(3)), and N,N,2,2-tetramethylpropanediamine (N,N,2,2-tmpn, L(4))], have been synthesized by using 0.5 mol equiv of the chelating tridentate ligands with Cu(NO(3))(2)·3H(2)O and an excess of NaN(3). Single-crystal X-ray structures show that the basic unit of these complexes, especially 1-3, contains very similar Cu(II)(4) building blocks. The overall structure of 3 is two-dimensional, while the other three complexes are one-dimensional in nature. Complex 1 represents a unique example containing hemiaminal ether arrested by copper(II). Complexes 1 and 2 have a rare bridging azido pathway: both end-on and end-to-end bridging azides between a pair of Cu(II) centers. Cryomagnetic susceptibility measurements over a wide range of temperature exhibit dominant ferromagnetic behavior in all four complexes. Density functional theory calculations (B3LYP functional) have been performed on complexes 1-3 to provide a qualitative theoretical interpretation of their overall ferromagnetic behavior.  相似文献

Four succinato-bridged complexes of copper(II) have been synthesized. Complex 1, [Cu(2)(mu-OH(2))(2)L(bpy)(2)(NO(3))(2)](n) and 2, [Cu(2)(mu-OH(2))(2)L(phen)(2)(NO(3))(2)](n)(bpy = 2,2[prime or minute]-bipyridine; phen = 1,10-phenanthroline and LH(2)= succinic acid) exhibit 1D coordination polymer structures where both the nitrate ions are directly linked to the copper(ii) producing synthons in a 2D sheet. A novel 2D grid-like network, ([Cu(4)L(2)(bpy)(4)(H(2)O)(2)](ClO(4))(4)(H(2)O))n3, is obtained upon changing the nitrate by perchlorate anion in complex 1, where the channels are occupied by the anions. On changing the nitrate by tetrafluoroborate anion in complex 2, a novel octanuclear complex, [Cu(8)L(4)(phen)(12)](BF(4))(8).8H(2)O 4, is isolated. The coligand bpy and phen in these complexes show face-to-face (in 1,2,3,4) or edge-to-face (in 4 )pi-pi interactions forming the multidimensional supramolecular architectures. Interestingly, the appearance of edge-to-face pi-pi interactions in complex facilitates the formation of discrete octanuclear entities. Variable-temperature (300-2 K) magnetic measurements of complexes have been done. Complexes 1 and 2 show very weak antiferromagnetic (OOC-CH(2)-CH(2)-COO) and ferromagnetic coupling (mu-H(2)O). Complex 3 also shows antiferromagnetic (syn-syn mu-OCO), and ferromagnetic coupling (mu-O of the -COO group). Complex 4 with two types (syn-syn and syn-anti) of binding modes of the carboxylate group shows strong antiferromagnetic interaction.  相似文献

Two new dinucleating ligands 1,2,4,5-tetrakis(2-pyridinecarboxamido)benzene, H(4)(tpb), and 1,2,4,5-tetrakis(4-tert-butyl-2-pyridinecarboxamido)benzene, H(4)(tbpb), have been synthesized, and the following dinuclear cyano complexes of cobalt(III) and iron(III) have been isolated: Na(2)[Co(III)(2)(tpb)(CN)(4)] (1); [N(n-Bu)(4)](2)[Co(III)(2)(tbpb)(CN)(4)] (2); [Co(III)(2)(tbpb(ox2))(CN)(4)] (3); [N(n-Bu)(4)](2)[Fe(III)(2)(tpb)(N(3))(4)] (4); [N(n-Bu)(4)](2)[Fe(III)(2)(tpb)(CN)(4)] (5); [N(n-Bu)(4)](2)[Fe(III)(2)(tbpb)(CN)(4)] (6). Complexes 2-4 and 6 have been structurally characterized by X-ray crystallography at 100 K. From electrochemical and spectroscopic (UV-vis, IR, EPR, M?ssbauer) and magnetochemical investigations it is established that the coordinated central 1,2,4,5-tetraamidobenzene entity in the cyano complexes can be oxidized in two successive one-electron steps yielding paramagnetic (tbpb(ox1))(3)(-) and diamagnetic (tbpb(ox2))(2)(-) anions. Thus, complex 6 exists in five characterized oxidation levels: [Fe(III)(2)(tbpb(ox2))(CN)(4)](0) (S = 0); [Fe(III)(2)(tbpb(ox1))(CN)(4)](-) (S = (1)/(2)); [Fe(III)(2)(tbpb)(CN)(4)](2)(-) (S = 0); [Fe(III)Fe(II)(tbpb)(CN)(4)](3)(-) (S = (1)/(2)); [Fe(II)(2)(tbpb)(CN)(4)](4)(-) (S = 0). The iron(II) and (III) ions are always low-spin configurated. The electronic structure of the paramagnetic iron(III) ions and the exchange interaction of the three-spin system [Fe(III)(2)(tbpb(ox1))(CN)(4)](-) are characterized in detail. Similarly, for 2 three oxidation levels have been identified and fully characterized: [Co(III)(2)(tbpb)(CN)(4)](2)(-) (S = 0); [Co(III)(2)(tbpb(ox1))(CN)(4)](-) (S = (1)/(2)); [Co(III)(2)(tbpb(ox2))(CN)(4)](0). The crystal structures of 2 and 3 clearly show that the two electron oxidation of 2 yielding 3 affects only the central tetraamidobenzene part of the ligand.  相似文献

A family of coordination complexes has been synthesized, each comprising a ruthenium(II) center ligated by a thiacrown macrocycle, [9]aneS(3), [12]aneS(4), or [14]aneS(4), and a pair of cis-coordinated ligands, niotinamide (nic), isonicotinamide (isonic), or p-cyanobenzamide (cbza), that provide the complexes with peripherally situated amide groups capable of hydrogen bond formation. The complexes [Ru([9]aneS(3))(nic)(2)Cl]PF(6), 1(PF(6)); [Ru([9]aneS(3)) (isonic)(2)Cl]PF(6), 2(PF(6)); [Ru([12]aneS(4))(nic)(2)](PF(6))(2), 3(PF(6))(2); [Ru([12]aneS(4))(isonic)(2)](PF(6))(2), 4(PF(6))(2); [Ru([12]aneS(4)) (cbza)(2)](PF(6))(2), 5(PF(6))(2); [Ru([14]aneS(4))(nic)(2)](PF(6))(2), 6(PF(6))(2); [Ru([14]aneS(4))(isonic)(2)](PF(6))(2), 7(PF(6))(2); and [Ru([14]aneS(4))(cbza)(2)](PF(6))(2), 8(PF(6))(2) have been characterized by NMR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, and elemental analysis. UV/visible spectroscopy shows that each complex exhibits an intense high-energy band (230-255 nm) assigned to a pi-pi* transition and a lower energy band (297-355 nm) assigned to metal-to-ligand charge-transfer transitions. Electrochemical studies indicate good reversibility for the oxidations of complexes with nic and isonic ligands (|I(a)/I(c)| = 1; DeltaEp < 100 mV), In contrast, complexes 5 and 8, which incorporate cbza ligands, display oxidations that are not fully electrochemically reversible (|I(a)/I(c)| = 1, DeltaEp > or = 100 mV). Metal-based oxidation couples between 1.32 and 1.93 V versus Ag/AgCl can be rationalized in term of the acceptor capabilities of the thiacrown ligands and the amide-bearing ligands, as well as the pi-donor capacity of the chloride ligands in compounds 1 and 2. The potential to use these electroactive metal complexes as building blocks for hydrogen-bonded crystalline materials has been explored. Crystal structures of compounds 1(PF(6)).H(2)O, 1(BF(4)).2H(2)O, 2(PF(6)), 3(PF(6))(2), 6(PF(6))(2)CH(3)NO(2), and 8(PF(6))(2) are reported. Four of the six form amide-amide N-H...O hydrogen bonds leading to networks constructed from amide C(4) chains or tapes containing R(2)(2) (8) hydrogen-bonded rings. The other two, 2(PF(6)) and 8(PF(6)), form networks linked through amide-anion N-H...F hydrogen bonds. The role of counterions and solvent in interrupting or augmenting direct amide-amide network propagation is explored, and the systematic relationship between the hydrogen-bonded networks formed across the series of structures is presented, showing the relationship between chain and tape arrangements and the progression from 1D to 2D networks. The scope for future systematic development of electroactive tectons into network materials is discussed.  相似文献

A series of linear-type Co(III)Pt(II)Co(III) trinuclear complexes composed of C(2)-cis(S)-[Co(aet)(2)(en)](+) (aet = 2-aminoethanethiolate) and/or Lambda(D)-trans(N)-[Co(D-pen-N,O,S)(2)](-) (D-pen = D-penicillaminate) were newly prepared, and their chiral behavior, which is markedly different from that of the corresponding Co(III)Pd(II)Co(III) complexes, is reported. The 1:1 reaction of an S-bridged Co(III)Ni(II)Co(III) trinuclear complex, [Ni[Co(aet)(2)(en)](2)]Cl(4), with K(2)[PtCl(4)] in water gave an S-bridged Co(III)Pt(II)Co(III) trinuclear complex, [Pt[Co(aet)(2)(en)](2)]Cl(4) ([1]Cl(4)), while the corresponding 1:2 reaction produced an S-bridged Co(III)Pt(II) dinuclear complex, [PtCl(2)[Co(aet)(2)(en)]]Cl ([2]Cl). Complex [1](4+) formed both racemic (DeltaDelta/LambdaLambda) and meso (DeltaLambda) forms, which were separated and optically resolved by cation-exchange column chromatography. An optically active S-bridged Co(III)Pt(II)Co(III) trinuclear complex having the pseudo LambdaLambda configuration, Lambda(D)Lambda(D)-[Pt[Co(D-pen-N,O,S)(2)](2)](0) (Lambda(D)Lambda(D)-[3]), was also prepared by reacting Lambda(D)-trans(N)-K[Co(D-pen-N,O,S)(2)] with K(2)[PtCl(4)] in a ratio of 2:1 in water. Treatment of the racemic Delta/Lambda-[2]Cl with Lambda(D)-trans(N)-K[Co(D-pen-N,O,S)(2)] in a ratio of 1:1 in water led to the formation of LambdaLambda(D)- and DeltaLambda(D)-[Pt[Co(aet)(2)(en)][Co(D-pen-N,O,S)(2)]](2+) (LambdaLambda(D)- and DeltaLambda(D)-[4](2+)) and DeltaDelta(D)-[Pt[Co(aet)(2)(en)][Co(D-pen-N,S)(2)(H(2)O)(2)]](2+) (DeltaDelta(D)-[4'](2+)), besides trace amounts of Lambda(D)Lambda(D)-[3] and DeltaDelta- and DeltaLambda-[1](4+). These Co(III)Pt(II)Co(III) complexes were characterized on the basis of electronic absorption, CD, and NMR spectra, along with single-crystal X-ray analyses for DeltaDelta/LambdaLambda-[1]Cl(4), DeltaLambda-[1]Cl(4), and DeltaLambda(D)-[4]Cl(2). Crystal data: DeltaDelta/LambdaLambda-[1]Cl(4).6H(2)O, monoclinic, space group C2/c with a = 14.983(3) A, b = 19.857(4) A, c = 12.949(3) A, beta = 113.51(2) degrees, V = 3532(1) A(3), Z = 4; DeltaLambda-[1]Cl(4).3H(2)O, orthorhombic, space group Pbca with a = 14.872(3) A, b = 14.533(3) A, c = 14.347(2) A, V = 3100(1) A(3), Z = 4; DeltaLambda(D)-[4]Cl(2).6H(2)O, monoclinic, space group P2(1) with a = 7.3836(2) A, b = 20.214(1) A, c = 10.622(2) A, beta = 91.45(1) degrees V = 1682.0(4) A(3), Z = 2.  相似文献

Self-assembly of silver(I) salts and three ortho-hydroxyl and carboxyl groups decorated arenesulfonic acids affords the formation of nine silver(I)-sulfonates, (NH(4))·[Ag(HL1)(NH(3))(H(2)O)] (1), {(NH(4))·[Ag(3)(HL1)(2)(NH(3))(H(2)O)]}(n) (2), [Ag(2)(HL1)(H(2)O)(2)](n) (3), [Ag(2)(HL2)(NH(3))(2)]·H(2)O (4), [Ag(H(2)L2)(H(2)O)](n) (5), [Ag(2)(HL2)](n) (6), [Ag(3)(L3)(NH(3))(3)](n) (7), [Ag(2)(HL3)](n) (8), and [Ag(6)(L3)(2)(H(2)O)(3)](n) (9) (H(3)L1 = 2-hydroxyl-3-carboxyl-5-bromobenzenesulfonic acid, H(3)L2 = 2-hydroxyl-4-carboxylbenzenesulfonic acid, H(3)L3 = 2-hydroxyl-5-carboxylbenzenesulfonic acid), which are characterized by elemental analysis, IR, TGA, PL, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Complex 1 is 3-D supramolecular network extended by [Ag(HL1)(NH(3))(H(2)O)](-) anions and NH(4)(+) cations. Complex 2 exhibits 3-D host-guest framework which encapsulates ammonium cations as guests. Complex 3 presents 2-D layer structure constructed from 1-D tape of sulfonate-bridged Ag1 dimers linked by [(Ag2)(2)(COO)(2)] binuclear units. Complex 4 exhibits 3-D hydrogen-bonding host-guest network which encapsulates water molecules as guests. Complex 5 shows 3-D hybrid framework constructed from organic linker bridged 1-D Ag-O-S chains while complex 6 is 3-D pillared layered framework with the inorganic substructure constructing from the Ag2 polyhedral chains interlinked by Ag1 dimers and sulfonate tetrahedra. The hybrid 3-D framework of complex 7 is formed by L3(-) trianions bridging short trisilver(I) sticks and silver(I) chains. Complex 8 also presents 3-D pillared layered framework, and the inorganic layer substructure is formed by the sulfonate tetrahedrons bridging [(Ag1O(4))(2)(Ag2O(5))(2)](∞) motifs. Complex 9 represents the first silver-based metal-polyhedral framework containing four kinds of coordination spheres with low coordination numbers. The structural diversities and evolutions can be attributed to the synthetic methods, different ligands and coordination modes of the three functional groups, that is, sulfonate, hydroxyl and carboxyl groups. The luminescent properties of the nine complexes have also been investigated at room temperature, especially, complex 1 presents excellent blue luminescence and can sensitize Tb(III) ion to exhibit characteristic green emission.  相似文献

Four new neutral copper-azido polymers [Cu(6)(N(3))(12)(aem)(2)](n)(1), [Cu(6)(N(3))(12)(dmeen)(2)(H(2)O)(2)](n) (2), [Cu(6)(N(3))(12)(N,N'-dmen)(2)](n) (3), and [Cu(6)(N(3))(12)(hmpz)(2)](n) (4) [aem = 4-(2-aminoethyl)morpholine; dmeen = N,N-dimethyl-N'-ethylethylenediamine; N,N'-dmen = N,N'-dimethylethylenediamine and hmpz = homopiperazine] have been synthesized by using 0.33 mol equiv of the chelating diamine ligands with Cu(NO(3))(2)·3H(2)O/CuCl(2)·2H(2)O and an excess of NaN(3). Single crystal X-ray structures show that the basic unit of these complexes, especially 1-3, contains very similar Cu(II)(6) building blocks. But the overall structures of these complexes vary widely in dimensionality. While 1 is three-dimensional (3D) in nature, 2 and 3 have a two-dimensional (2D) arrangement (with different connectivity) and 4 has a one-dimensional (1D) structure. Cryomagnetic susceptibility measurements over a wide range of temperature exhibit dominant ferromagnetic behavior in all the four complexes. The experimental susceptibility data have been analyzed by some theoretical model equations.  相似文献

Four bis-tetradentate N(4)-substituted-3,5-{bis[bis-N-(2-pyridinemethyl)]aminomethyl}-4H-1,2,4-triazole ligands, L(Tz1)-L(Tz4), differing only in the triazole N(4) substituent R (where R is amino, pyrrolyl, phenyl, or 4-tertbutylphenyl, respectively) have been synthesized, characterized, and reacted with M(II)(BF(4))(2)·6H(2)O (M(II) = Cu, Ni or Co) and Co(SCN)(2). Experiments using all 16 possible combinations of metal salt and L(TzR) were carried out: 14 pure complexes were obtained, 11 of which are dinuclear, while the other three are tetranuclear. The dinuclear complexes include two copper(II) complexes, [Cu(II)(2)(L(Tz2))(H(2)O)(4)](BF(4))(4) (2), [Cu(II)(2)(L(Tz4))(BF(4))(2)](BF(4))(2) (4); two nickel(II) complexes, [Ni(II)(2)(L(Tz1))(H(2)O)(3)(CH(3)CN)](BF(4))(4)·0.5(CH(3)CN) (5) and [Ni(II)(2)(L(Tz4))(H(2)O)(4)](BF(4))(4)·H(2)O (8); and seven cobalt(II) complexes, [Co(II)(2)(L(Tz1))(μ-BF(4))](BF(4))(3)·H(2)O (9), [Co(II)(2)(L(Tz2))(μ-BF(4))](BF(4))(3)·2H(2)O (10), [Co(II)(2)(L(Tz3))(H(2)O)(2)](BF(4))(4) (11), [Co(II)(2)(L(Tz4))(μ-BF(4))](BF(4))(3)·3H(2)O (12), [Co(II)(2)(L(Tz1))(SCN)(4)]·3H(2)O (13), [Co(II)(2)(L(Tz2))(SCN)(4)]·2H(2)O (14), and [Co(II)(2)(L(Tz3))(SCN)(4)]·H(2)O (15). The tetranuclear complexes are [Cu(II)(4)(L(Tz1))(2)(H(2)O)(2)(BF(4))(2)](BF(4))(6) (1), [Cu(II)(4)(L(Tz3))(2)(H(2)O)(2)(μ-F)(2)](BF(4))(6)·0.5H(2)O (3), and [Ni(II)(4)(L(Tz3))(2)(H(2)O)(4)(μ-F(2))](BF(4))(6)·6.5H(2)O (7). Single crystal X-ray structure determinations revealed different solvent content from that found by microanalysis of the bulk sample after drying under a vacuum and confirmed that 5', 8', 9', 11', 12', and 15' are dinuclear while 1' and 7' are tetranuclear. As expected, magnetic measurements showed that weak antiferromagnetic intracomplex interactions are present in 1, 2, 4, 7, and 8, stabilizing a singlet spin ground state. All seven of the dinuclear cobalt(II) complexes, 9-15, have similar magnetic behavior and remain in the [HS-HS] state between 300 and 1.8 K.  相似文献

Using the tricyano precursor (Bu(4)N)[(Tp)Cr(CN)(3)] (Bu(4)N(+) = tetrabutylammonium cation; Tp = tris(pyrazolyl)hydroborate), a pentanuclear heterometallic cluster [(Tp)(2)Cr(2)(CN)(6)Cu(3)(Me(3)tacn)(3)][(Tp)Cr(CN)(3)](ClO(4))(3)·5H(2)O (1, Me(3)tacn = N,N',N'-trimethyl-1,4,7-triazacyclononane), three tetranuclear heterometallic clusters [(Tp)(2)Cr(2)(CN)(6)Cu(2)(L(OEt))(2)]·2.5CH(3)CN (2, L(OEt) = [(Cp)Co(P(O)(OEt)(2))(3)], Cp = cyclopentadiene), [(Tp)(2)Cr(2)(CN)(6)Mn(2)(L(OEt))(2)]·4H(2)O (3), and [(Tp)(2)Cr(2)(CN)(6)Mn(2)(phen)(4)](ClO(4))(2) (4, phen = phenanthroline), and a one-dimensional (1D) chain polymer [(Tp)(2)Cr(2)(CN)(6)Mn(bpy)](n) (5, bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine) have been synthesized and structurally characterized. Complex 1 shows a trigonal bipyramidal geometry in which [(Tp)Cr(CN)(3)](-) units occupy the apical positions and are linked through cyanide to [Cu(Me(3)tacn)](2+) units situated in the equatorial plane. Complexes 2-4 show similar square structures, where Cr(III) and M(II) (M = Cu(II) or Mn(II)) ions are alternatively located on the rectangle corners. Complex 5 consists of a 4,2-ribbon-like bimetallic chain. Ferromagnetic interactions between Cr(III) and Cu(II) ions bridged by cyanides are observed in complexes 1 and 2. Antiferromagnetic interactions are presented between Cr(III) and Mn(II) ions bridged by cyanides in complexes 3-5. Complex 5 shows metamagnetic behavior with a critical field of about 22.5 kOe at 1.8 K.  相似文献

To explore the relationships between the structures of ligands and their complexes, we have synthesized and characterized a series of metal complexes with two structurally related ligands, 9-acridinecarboxylic acid (HL(1)) and 4-quinolinecarboxylate acid (HL(2)), [Cu(2)(mu(2)-OMe)(2)(L(1))(2)(H(2)O)(0.69)](n) 1, [Cu(2)(L(1))(4)(CH(3)OH)(2)] 2, [Cu(3)(L(1))(6)(CH(3)OH)(6)].3H(2)O 3, [Mn(3)(L(1))(6)(CH(3)OH)(6)].3H(2)O 4, [Co(3)(L(1))(6)(CH(3)OH)(6)].3H(2)O 5, [Cu(L(2))(2)](n) 6, [Mn(L(2))(2)(H(2)O)](n) 7, and [Co(L(2))(2)(H(2)O)](n) 8. 1 is a three-dimensional (3D) polymer with an interpenetrating NbO type network showing one-dimensional (1D) channels, whereas 2 and 3 take bi- and trinuclear structures, respectively, because of the differences in basicity of the reaction systems in preparing the three complexes. 4 and 5 have trinuclear structures similar to that of 3. In 1-5, ligand L(1) performs different coordination modes with N,O-bridging in 1 and O,O'-bridging in 2-5, and the metal ions also show different coordination geometries: square planar in 1, square pyramidal in 2, and octahedral in 3-5. 6 has a two-dimensional structure containing (4,4) grids in which L(2) adopts the N,O-bridging mode and the Cu(II) center takes square planar geometry. 7 and 8 are isostructural complexes showing 1D chain structures, with L(2) adopting the O,O-bridging mode. In addition, the intermolecular O-H...N hydrogen bonds and pi-pi stacking interactions further extend the complexes (except 1 and 6), forming 3D structures. The magnetic properties of 2-7 have been investigated and discussed in detail.  相似文献

The compound [Cu(II)(2)(D(1))(H(2)O)(2)](ClO(4))(4) (D(1) = dinucleating ligand with two tris(2-pyridylmethyl)amine units covalently linked in their 5-pyridyl positions by a -CH(2)CH(2)- bridge) selectively promotes cleavage of DNA on oligonucleotide strands that extend from the 3' side of frayed duplex structures at a site two residues displaced from the junction. The minimal requirements for reaction include a guanine in the n (i.e. first unpaired) position of the 3' overhang adjacent to the cleavage site and an adenine in the n position on the 5' overhang. Recognition and strand scission are independent of the nucleobase at the cleavage site. The necessary presence of both a reductant and dioxygen indicates that the intermediate responsible for cleavage is produced by the activation of dioxygen by a copper(I) form of the dinuclear complex. The lack of sensitivity to radical quenching agents and the high level of site selectivity in scission suggest a mechanism that does not involve a diffusible radical species. The multiple metal center exhibits a synergy to promote efficient cleavage as compared to the action of a mononuclear analogue [Cu(II)(TMPA)(H(2)O)](ClO(4))(2) (TMPA = tris(2-pyridylmethyl)amine) and [Cu(OP)(2)](2+) (OP = 1,10-phenanthroline) at equivalent copper ion concentrations. The dinuclear complex, [Cu(II)(2)(D(1))(H(2)O)(2)](ClO(4))(4), is even capable of mediating efficient specific strand scission at concentrations where [Cu(OP)(2)](2+) does not detectably modify DNA. The unique coordination and reactivity properties of [Cu(II)(2)(D(1))(H(2)O)(2)](ClO(4))(4) are critical for its efficiency and site selectivity since an analogue, [Cu(II)(2)(DO)(Cl(2))](ClO(4))(2), where DO is a dinucleating ligand very similar to D(1), but with a -CH(2)OCH(2)- bridge, exhibits only nonselective cleavage of DNA. The differences in the reactivity of these two complexes with DNA and their previously established interaction with dioxygen suggest that specific strand scission is a function of the orientation of a reactive intermediate.  相似文献

The redox systems [Ru(L)(bpy)(2)](k), [Ru(L)(2)(bpy)](m), and [Ru(L)(3)](n) containing the potentially redox-active ligand 9-oxidophenalenone = L(-) were investigated by spectroelectrochemistry (UV-vis-near-IR and electron paramagnetic resonance) in conjunction with density functional theory (DFT) calculations. Compounds [Ru(L(-))(bpy)(2)]ClO(4) ([1]ClO(4)) and [Ru(L(-))(2)(bpy)]ClO(4) ([2]ClO(4)) were structurally characterized. In addition to establishing electron-transfer processes involving the Ru(II)/Ru(III)/Ru(IV) and bpy(0)/bpy(?-) couples, evidence for the noninnocent behavior of L(-) was obtained from [Ru(IV)(L(?))(L(-))(bpy)](3+), which exhibits strong near-IR absorption due to ligand-to-ligand charge transfer. In contrast, the lability of the electrogenerated anion [Ru(L)(2)(bpy)](-) is attributed to a resonance situation [Ru(II)(L(?2-))(L(-))(bpy)](-)/[Ru(II)(L(-))(2) (bpy(?-))](-), as suggested by DFT calculations.  相似文献

One-dimensional (1-D), two-dimensional (2-D), and three-dimensional (3-D) coordination polymers were prepared by self-assembly of binary metal complex systems, copper(II) nitrate and (en)Pt(II)(nic)(2) or (dmpda)Pt(II)(isonic)(2) (en = ethylenediamine, dmpda = 2,2'-dimethyl-1,3-propanediamine, nic = nicotinate, and isonic = isonicotinate), in aqueous solutions. Equimolar reactions of copper(II) nitrate with (dmpda)Pt(II)(isonic)(2) and (en)Pt(II)(nic)(2) resulted in 1-D ([(dmpda)Pt(isonic)(2)Cu(OH(2))(3)](NO(3))(2))(n)() (1) and 2-D ([(en)Pt(nic)(2)Cu(OH(2))](NO(3))(2))(n) (2), respectively, but the reaction of (en)Pt(II)(nic)(2) with excess copper(II) nitrate gave 3-D ([((en)Pt(nic)(2))(3)Cu(5)(OH)(2)(OH(2))(6)](NO(3))(8))(n) (3). The local structure of crystal 1 has a mononuclear copper unit, 2 has a dinuclear copper unit with a Cu-Cu distance of 2.659(5) A, and 3 has a pentanuclear copper unit. The methyl groups of the dmpda ligand are located in the space between two isonicotinate ligands of 1, which is presumed to be an important factor to determine the final structure of the crystal formed by self-assembly. Magnetic behaviors of crystals 1-3 examined in the temperature range of 4-300 K appear to be governed by the local structures around the copper(II) ions and do not indicate any significant long-range magnetic exchange interactions along the polymeric chain.  相似文献

Conventional reactions of the versatile multidentate ligand 5-methyl-1,2,4-triazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidin-7(4H)-one (HmtpO) with metallic(II) salts lead to three novel multidimensional complexes [Cu(HmtpO)(2)(H(2)O)(3)](ClO(4))(2)·H(2)O (1), {[Cu(HmtpO)(2)(H(2)O)(2)](ClO(4))(2)·2HmtpO}(n) (2) and {[Co(HmtpO)(H(2)O)(3)](ClO(4))(2)·2H(2)O}(n) (3). In each compound, the triazolopyrimidine ligand shows a different and unusual coordination mode, giving rise to structures with diverse topologies and dimensionality. Compound 1 is a monomeric complex, in which HmtpO shows both N3-monodentate and N1,O71-bidentate modes. 2 is a bidimensional framework with the ligand showing a N3,O71 bidentate-bridging mode. The structure of 3 consists of 1D chains, in which HmtpO displays a N1,N3,O71-tridentate-bridging mode. It should be noted that these coordination modes of the HmtpO ligand are unique in the case of compounds 2 and 3. On the other hand, the magnetic properties of the polynuclear complexes 2 and 3 have been studied showing weak ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic behaviour, respectively.  相似文献

The syntheses, crystal structures, and magnetic properties of three novel cyano-bridged bimetallic assemblies, [Ni(bpm)(2)](3)[Co(CN)(6)](2)x3.5H(2)O (1), [Co(bpm)(2)][Fe(CN)(5)NO]x2H(2)O (2), and [Co(bpm)(2)][Ni(CN)(4)] (3) (bpm = bis(1-pyrazolyl)methane), are reported. Complex 1 crystallizes in the tetragonal space group P4(3)2(1)2 with a = 12.800(5) A, b = 12.800(5) A, c = 42.80(3) A, V = 7012(6) A(3), and Z = 8. Complex 2 crystallizes in the chiral trigonal space group P3(2)21 with a = 11.9961(19) A, b = 11.9961(19) A, c = 16.062(5) A, gamma = 120 degrees , V = 2001.7(8) A(3), and Z = 3. Complex 1 is a trigonal bipyramidal complex in which three [Ni(bpm)(2)](2+) units are situated in the equatorial plane and are connected to the two apical [Co(CN)(6)](3)(-) units via three N ends of the cyanide groups. Complex 2 possesses a triangular left-handed helical chain structure composed of [Co(bpm)(2)](2+) linked by [Fe(CN)(5)NO](2)(-); the shortest intramolecular Co...Fe distance is 5.162 A. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first observation of a heteronuclear helical chain structure based on pentacyanonitrosylferrate(II). The structure of complex 3 is roughly determined by X-ray crystallograhy analysis to be a 1D zigzag chain. These structure variations, from a discrete cluster to a 1D helical chain and a 1D zigzag chain, rely on the semirigidity of the capping ligand bpm. Magnetic susceptibility measurements indicate that complex 1 has an intramolecular ferromagnetic interaction (J = 4.06 cm(-)(1)) between the nickel(II) ions; this is further confirmed by the magnetization measurements. In complexes 2 and 3, the cobalt(II) ions are located in a moderately strong field.  相似文献

Seven new coordination polymers, [Co()(1,3-BDC)(H(2)O)(3)]·H(2)O (), [Co()(1,2-BDC)(H(2)O)]·H(2)O (), [Co(3)()(1,2,4-BTC)(2)(H(2)O)(4)]·4H(2)O (), [Co()(NPH)]·2H(2)O (), [Cu()(1,3-BDC)] (), [Cu()(1,2-BDC)] (), [Cu()(1,3,5-HBTC)(H(2)O)](2)·2H(2)O () ( = N,N'-bis(pyridin-3-yl)cyclohexane-1,4-dicarboxamide, 1,3-H(2)BDC = 1,3-benzenedicarboxylic acid, 1,2-H(2)BDC = 1,2-benzenedicarboxylic acid, 1,2,4-H(3)BTC = 1,2,4-benzenetricarboxylic acid, H(2)NPH = 3-nitrophthalic acid and 1,3,5-H(3)BTC = 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylic acid) have been hydrothermally synthesized by assembling transition-metal cobalt-copper salts with semi-rigid bis-pyridyl-bis-amide ligand and different aromatic polycarboxylic acids. Complex exhibits a one-dimensional (1D) sinusoidal-like chain, which is further assembled into a three-dimensional (3D) supramolecular framework through hydrogen-bonding interactions. Complex possesses a 3D framework with 4-connected 6(6) topology, which contains a two-dimensional (2D) distorted asymmetric hexagonal grid. When 1,2,4-BTC is used in complex , a 3D framework with (6(3)·8(2)·10)(2)(6(5)·8)(2)(8) topology is constructed. Complex possesses a 3D framework with 4-connected 6(6) topology, which is similar to that of except for containing a 2D symmetric hexagonal grid. When Co(II) ion is replaced by Cu(II) ion, the 3D framework of complex with (4·6(2))(4·6(6)·8(3)) topology based on and 1,3-BDC ligands is obtained. Complex shows a 2D cross network consisting of a superposed Cu- 1D chain and 1,2-BDC, which is further expanded into a 3D supramolecular framework by hydrogen-bonding interactions. In complex , 1,3,5-HBTC is employed as the auxiliary ligand, and a 3D supramolecular framework based on the undulated 2D layers is formed through π-π stacking and hydrogen-bonding interactions. Both the metal ions and polycarboxylates play important roles in the construction of the title complexes. In addition, the electrochemical behaviors and the fluorescence properties of the seven complexes have been investigated.  相似文献

Using two 4-substitued triazole ligands, 4-(pyrid-2-yl)-1,2,4-triazole (L(1)) and 4-(pyrid-3-yl)-1,2,4-triazole (L(2)), a series of novel triazole-cadmium(II) complexes varying from zero- to three-dimensional have been prepared and their crystal structures determined via single-crystal X-ray diffraction. [Cd(2)(micro(2)-L(1))(3)(L(1))(2)(NO(3))(mu(2)-NO(3))(H(2)O)(2)](NO(3))(2).1.75H(2)O (1) is a binuclear complex containing bidendate, monodedate and free nitrate anions. When the bridging anions SCN(-) and dca (dca = N(CN)(2)(-)) were added to the reaction system of 1, one-dimensional (1D) [Cd(L(1))(2)(NCS)(2)](n) (2) and two-dimensional (2D) [Cd(L(1))(2)(dca)(2)](n) (3) were isolated, respectively. When L(2) instead of L(1) was used, [Cd(L(2))(2)(NCS)(2)(H(2)O)(2)] (4) and 1D [Cd(L(2))(2)(dca)(2)](n) (5) were obtained. When the ratio of Cd to L(2) was changed from 1:2 to 1:1 in the reaction system of 5, three-dimensional (3D) {[Cd(3)(micro(2)-L(2))(3)(dca)(6)].0.75H(2)O}(n) (6) with 1D microporous channels along the a direction was isolated. Further investigations on other Cd(ii) salts and the L(2) ligand in a Cd to L(2) ratio of 1:1, an unexpected complex [Cd(mu(2)-L(2))(mu(3)-SO(4))(H(2)O)](n) (7) with a 3D open framework was obtained. All of the complexes exhibit strong blue fluorescence emission bands in the solid state at ambient temperature, of which the excitation and emission maxima are red-shifted to longer wavelength as compared to those in water. Powder X-ray diffraction and thermal studies were used to investigate the bulk nature of the 3D coordination polymers 6 and 7.  相似文献
