The photocatalytic potential of chlorophyll has been investigated for the facile synthesis of dihydropyrimidinones utilizing concentrated solar irradiation towards sustainable energy solutions. This, one-pot, multicomponent Biginelli reaction, which involves a photoinduced electron transfer (PET) mechanism, affords a green and efficient approach for the transformation of the commercial aldehydes, β-keto ester and urea into valuable 3,4-dihydropyrimidin-2(1H)-ones with wide substrate scope and diversity. These improved reaction conditions allow the formation of a variety of substituted dihydropyrimidinones with high yields and purity in a short duration of time and mild reaction conditions.  相似文献

A simple and efficient synthetic protocol has been developed for the synthesis of 3,4-dihydropyrimidin-2-(1H)-ones by using a novel bioglycerol-based sulfonic acid functionalized carbon catalyst, devoid of moisture sensitive metal catalysts and corrosive acidic reagents. The developed method has the advantages of good to excellent yields, short reaction times, operational simplicity, and a recyclable catalyst. The catalyst can be prepared by a simple procedure from inexpensive and readily available glycerol and has been shown to be recoverable and reusable up to four cycles without any loss of activity.  相似文献

利用室温离子液体作催化剂,芳香醛、尿素和乙酰乙酯或乙酰丙酮三组分缩合制备3,4-二氢嘧啶-2-酮衍生物,反应条件温和,反应时间短,且不需另加有机溶剂,考察了不同取代基对芳香醛、尿素和乙酰乙酸乙酯或乙酰丙酮三组分缩合反应的影响。还考察了不同的室温离子液体的催化性能,发现1-丁基-3-甲基咪唑六氟磷酸盐较1-丁基-3-甲基咪唑四氟硼酸盐的催化效果略好。  相似文献

A useful and green synthesis of 3,4-dihydropyrimidin-2(1H)-ones/thiones derivatives were achieved by one-pot cyclocondensation between substituted aryl aldehydes, diketone/ketoester, and urea/thiourea using magnetic CoNiFe2O4@Silica-SO3H nanoparticles under solvent-free condition. The choice of this approach showed essential advantages such as short reaction time, simple work-up procedure, high activity of the catalyst, high yield of the reaction products, the magnetic properties of the catalyst, and environmentally amiable conditions. In addition, the catalyst recovered and reused four times without notable loss of its activity. The magnetic CoNiFe2O4@Silica-SO3H nanoparticles were described by Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), field emission scanning electron microscope, energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction spectroscopy, and vibrating sample magnetometer. The products were obtained with excellent yields (88–98%). The formation of the products was confirmed and identified with their physical properties (melting points), the FT-IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, mass spectrometry, and the elemental analysis.  相似文献

A novel, greener approach was adopted for the synthesis of 3,4-dihydropyrimidin-2(1H)-one derivatives (4ai) using bis[(L)prolinato-N,O]Zn as an inexpensive, efficient and mild Lewis acid catalyst in water. The methodology offers several advantages such as short reaction time, high yields, clean process, low loading of catalyst and simple operational procedure. An efficient TaBr5 (5-10 mol %)-catalyzed Biginelli reaction under solvent-free conditions for one-pot syntheses of 3,4-dihydropyrimidin-2-(1H)-ones (DHPMs) and their thione analogs is reported. Nanomagnetic-supported sulfonic acid is found to be a new, powerful, and reusable heterogeneous catalyst for the rapid synthesis of 3,4-dihydropyrimidin-2-(1H)-ones under conventional heating and microwave irradiation. This is the first example of combination of magnetic iron nanoparticles and microwave technique for the multicomponent reaction. An efficient regioselective approach to the synthesis of tetrasubstituted pyrimidines was developed by sequential functionalization of easily available Biginelli 3,4-dihydropyrimidine-2(1H)-ones via dehydrogenation, chlorination followed by palladium catalyzed C–C Suzuki/Sonogashira coupling reaction. All the synthesized compounds were evaluated in vitro for their antifungal activities against Candida albicans, Cryptococcus neoformans, Benjaminiella poitrasii, Yarrowia lipolytica, and Fusarium oxysporum, and antibacterial activities against Gram-negative Escherichia coli and Gram-positive Staphylococcus aureus.  相似文献

Hydrolytic behavior of 5-acetyl-6-methyl-4-phenyl-3,4-dihydropyrimidin-2(1H)-one under alkaline condition has been explored. Mechanistic details are established by LCMS and HPLC. Evidence suggested that the deacetylative benzylidenation proceeds through the retro-Biginelli reaction. The scope of the retro-Biginelli reaction has been explored by the synthesis of substituted DHPs.  相似文献
