Rate constants for the reaction of the primary species of water radiolysis, viz. e aq' , H and OH, with picolinic acid have been determined at various pHs. The semi-reduced species exhibits max at 305 and 350 nm. It is a strong reductant and has two pKa values of 1 and 5.7. The OH adduct of this compound also exhibits two pKa s at 2.1 and 5.2. H-atom reaction with picolinic acid gives rise to a mixture of species.  相似文献

Although the carbohydrate–lectin interactions have been intensively investigated, there is little report concerning the factors that affect the carbohydrate–lectin interaction. The interactions between concanavalin A (Con A) and glycopolymers, namely poly(2-(methacrylamido)-glucopyranose) and poly(2-methacrylamido-2-deoxy-glucitol) containing pyranose ring form and open form of glucosamine, respectively, have been investigated by a combination of isothermal titration calorimetry and quartz crystal microbalance-dissipation. Our results show that not only the pyranose ring form of glucosamine but also the open form can bind to Con A. Moreover, we investigate the influence of temperature on the carbohydrate–lectin interaction. As the temperature increases, the carbohydrate–lectin interaction is enhanced.  相似文献

The electrochemiluminescence (ECL) of luminol in aqueous alkaline solution was studied.Trace amounts of chloride showed significant effect on the efficiency of light emission of luminol as a posi-tive trigonometrical wave pulse was exerted on the solution. The detection limit for the chloride is5.0 ×10~(-6) mol/L and the linear calibration range extends up to 1.0 ×10~(-2) mol/L; the relative standarddeviation for 1.0 ×10~(-5) mol / L chloride is 5%. The influencing factors for chloride determination arealso discussed. The possible mechanism for the electrochemiluminescence reaction may be due to theoxidation of chloride ion in the solution to ClO~-, and the latter acts on luminol and then gives outluminescence. The method has been applied to determine the total chloride in tap water with satisfactoryresults.  相似文献

The fact that amides and esters form less stable enolates than ketones might be seen as evidence that electrostatic stabilization is unimportant in these anions. However, ab initio molecular orbital calculations show that electrostatic stabilization does in fact lie beneath the competing resonance effect that causes the decrease in acidity. The electrostatic contribution is revealed by examining torsionally twisted amide and ester structures in which the pi resonance interactions are largely inhibited. These twisted amides and esters have greater enolate acidity than the corresponding ketones. Qualitatively similar behavior is observed with respect to protonation, such that twisted amides and esters are generally less basic than the reference ketones, in striking contrast to their behavior in the normal geometries.  相似文献

The inclosion of dextromethorphan (DMN) by -cyclodextrin (-CD) was studied by using chromatography, UV spectroscopy and circular dichroism methods at 25 °C, pH 7.4 and 4.2. It was found that the CD : DMN complex has 1 : 1 stoichiometry. It is more stable at pH 7.4 than at pH 4.2. with constants respectively equal to 8000 ± 800 M–1 and 5750 ± 500 M–i, as determined by chromatography. The stability of the complex at pH 7.4 decreases as the temperature increases. From the van 't Hoff dependence the standard entropy and enthalpy changes were determined at this pH.  相似文献

α-Trifluoromethyl-β-aryl enamines were successfully used as synthetic equivalents of benzyltrifluoromethyl ketones in both the Fischer indole synthesis and the Pictet-Spengler reaction. Accordingly, 2-trifluoromethyl indoles and a variety of trifluoromethylated 4,5,6,7-terahydro-1H-pyridines including carbolines were synthesized in moderate to good yields.  相似文献

Host-guest equilibria have been investigated involving inclusion sites of the microparticulate amorphous β-cyclodextrin polymer, β-CDP-25, and a range of redox guests comprising regioisomeric nitrobenzene derivatives and ferrocene. The equilibria were studied by the batch method. Inclusion-governed, Langmuir-type sorption equilibria occurred in the β-CDP-25/guest systems studied in 1:1 (v/v) aqueous methanolic solutions. A 1:1 (host inclusion site)/guest stoichiometry was found and sorption equilibrium constants were determined. The values of the constants changed by a factor of 20 between the most weakly and strongly included guests. Regioselective discrimination of β-CDP-25 was most pronounced with respect to nitrophenols. Transport phenomena of guest molecules in the β-CDP-25 matrix have also been studied. The apparent diffusion coefficients of guest molecules were determined in the β-CDP-25 matrix by chronamperometry at the (β-CDP-25)-PTFE-carbon composite electrodes. These diffusion coefficients were almost four orders of magnitude lower than the corresponding coefficients of guest molecules in solution in the absence of β-CD. The diffusion mechanism was postulated for the guest molecules in the β-CDP-25 matrix, which invoked hopping of the molecules between inclusion sites.  相似文献

An extracellular β-glucanase secreted by Kluyveromyces marxianus was identified for the first time. The optimal conditions for the production of this enzyme were evaluated by response surface methodology. The optimal conditions to produce β-glucanase were a glucose concentration of 4 % (w/v), a pH of 5.5, and an incubation temperature of 35 °C. Response surface methodology was also used to determine the pH and temperature required for the optimal enzymatic activity. The highest enzyme activity was obtained at a pH of 5.5 and a temperature of 55 °C. Furthermore, the enzyme was partially purified and sequenced, and its specificity for different substrates was evaluated. The results suggest that the enzyme is an endo-β-1,3(4)-glucanase. After optimizing the conditions for β-glucanase production, the culture supernatant was found to be effective in digesting the cell wall of the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae, showing the great potential of β-glucanase in the biotechnological production of soluble β-glucan.  相似文献

Abstract

A β-D-galactosidase from Bacillus circulans induced β-D-galactopyranosyl transfer from lactose predominantly to a secondary (OH-4) rather than the primary hydroxyl group (OH-6) of 2-acetamido-2-deoxy-D-glucopyranose. 4-O-β-D-Galacto-pyranosyl-2-acetamido-2-deoxy-D-glucopyranose (N-acetyl-lactosamine) was thus readily synthesized on a gram scale and conveniently isolated by chromatography on a column of charcoal-Celite. On the other hand, the glycosyl transfer to the 6-position predominantly was efficiently induced to give 6-O-β-D-galactopyranosyl-2-acetamido-2-deoxy-D-glucopyranose (N-acetyl-allolactosamine) by consecutive use of β-D-galactosidases from Kluyveromyces lactis and B. circulans. These enzyme reactions were efficient enough to allow the one-pot preparation of the desired disaccharides.  相似文献

An investigation into the comparative reactivity of simple β-lactones and β-thiolactones toward a thiol and a primary amine is reported. A simple 3-mercaptomethyl-2-oxetanone is found to undergo rearrangement in the presence of aqueous base to give the corresponding thietane-3-carboxylic acid rather than the 3-hydroxymethyl-2-thietanone. Implications for the use of β-thiolactones in bioorganic and medicinal chemistry are discussed.  相似文献
