Room-temperature pulsed and continuous-wave (cw) operation of a tunable external cavity (EC) quantum cascade laser (QCL) at an emitting wavelength of $4.7\,\upmu \hbox {m}$ 4.7 μ m was presented. The effect of different external cavity lengths and grating angles of the EC–QCL system were analyzed numerically. A wide tuning range greater than $131\,\hbox {cm}^{-1}$ 131 cm - 1 was obtained in pulsed mode at room temperature. Without the anti-reflection coating procedure, single-mode cw operation with a side-mode suppression ratio (SMSR) above 20 dB and a wide tuning range greater than $116\, \hbox {cm}^{-1}$ 116 cm - 1 were achieved. Near the center region, SMSR about 30 dB was also realized through designing the external cavity length. Strain-compensation combined with two-phonon resonance in an active region design and the high-reflection coating promised low threshold current density. A record low threshold current density of $0.901\,\hbox {kA/cm}^{2}$ 0.901 kA/cm 2 for an EC–QCL operated in cw mode was realized.  相似文献

A new design for concurrent implementation of all-optical half-adder and AND & XOR logic gates based on nonlinear photonic crystal ring resonator has been proposed. The finite different time domain and plane wave expansion methods are used to analyze the behavior of the structure. The ring resonator has a low switching time of about 0.85 ps and low switching power equal to $277\,\text{ mW}/\upmu \text{m}^{2}$ 277 mW / μ m 2 . The simulation results show that the contrast ratio is 12.78 dB for AND gate and 5.67 dB for XOR gate. Moreover, the operational wavelength of the input ports is $1.55\,\upmu \text{m}$ 1 . 55 μ m . Since the structure has a simple geometric shape with clear operating principle, it is potentially applicable for photonic integrated circuits.  相似文献

In this work, we present a study of the magneto transport properties in magnetic multilayered structure $\text{ Ni }_{81}\text{ Fe }_{19}\text{/Zr }$ Ni 81 Fe 19 /Zr . The magnetic $(\text{ Ni }_{81}\text{ Fe }_{19})$ ( Ni 81 Fe 19 ) and non magnetic (Zr) layer thickness $(\mathbf{t}_\mathbf{NiFe}, \mathbf{t}_\mathbf{zr})$ ( t NiFe , t zr ) effects on the magneto resistance (MR) are discussed theoretically in the framework of the Johnson–Camley semi classical approach based on the Boltzmann transport equation. A comparison between calculated and measured MR is obtained. The observed MR ratio oscillates for Zr layer thickness with an average period of 7Å. A generally weak $\text{ MR }(\text{ t }_{\mathrm{NiFe}})$ MR ( t NiFe ) ratio for fixed $\mathbf{t}_\mathbf{zr}$ t zr is obtained and it shows a maxima peak of the MR with a value of 1.8 % located at $\mathbf{t}_\mathbf{NiFe}= 80$ t NiFe = 80 Å.  相似文献

We assume that s xy is negligible if |x ? y| exceeds the band width W. In one dimension we prove that the eigenvectors of H are delocalized if ${W\gg L^{4/5}}$ W ? L 4 / 5 . We also show that the magnitude of the matrix entries ${|{G_{xy}}|^2}$ | G x y | 2 of the resolvent ${G=G(z)=(H-z)^{-1}}$ G = G ( z ) = ( H - z ) - 1 is self-averaging and we compute ${\mathbb{E} |{G_{xy}}|^2}$ E | G x y | 2 . We show that, as ${L\to\infty}$ L → ∞ and ${W\gg L^{4/5}}$ W ? L 4 / 5 , the behaviour of ${\mathbb{E} |G_{xy}|^2}$ E | G x y | 2 is governed by a diffusion operator whose diffusion constant we compute. Illuminance uniformity and illuminating efficiency are always the key problems of light emitting diode (LED) lighting system design. Based on the new design of the reflection optical module, illuminance uniformity and illuminating efficiency are investigated simultaneously in this paper. At the first stage, a reflector with various profile designs is installed to improve the uniformity and efficiency of irradiances collected through the receiver. Using the macro commands, an effective process is presented through the optimal design of the reflector geometries, and the merit function is used as the optical quality objective to find the optimal design value of $K2$ K 2 and $R2$ R 2 parameters of the reflector. At the second stage, based on the optimal design result, the displacement between LED source and reflector is further adjusted automatically by the macro commands too. The results from the ray tracing simulation indicate that the optimal design can be achieved through the compromise of Illuminance uniformity and illuminating efficiency. Finally, we obtain the merit function value of $1.81$ 1.81 with $K2=-1.09, R2=1.11\,\hbox {mm}$ K 2 = - 1.09 , R 2 = 1.11 mm , and the source position $Z1= 1.68\,\hbox {mm}$ Z 1 = 1.68 mm . The results shown in this paper could be beneficial for machine vision systems which are heavily demanded in the light source applications for the uniform and efficient illuminance.  相似文献

We study various $\alpha $ -decay chains on the basis of the preformed cluster decay model. Our work targets the superheavy elements, which are expected to show extra stability at shell closure. Our computations identify the following combinations of proton and neutron numbers as the most stable nuclei: $Z=112$ , $N=161, 163$ ; $Z=114$ , $N=171, 178, 179$ ; and $Z=124$ , $N=194$ . We also investigate the alternative of heavy cluster emissions in the decay chain of 301120, instead of $\alpha $ decay. Our study of cluster radioactivity shows that the half-life for 10Be decay in 289114 is larger, indicating enhanced stability at $Z=114$ , $N=175$ . Similar calculations concerning the emission of $\ ^{14}{\rm C}$ and $\ ^{34}{\rm Si}$ from 301120 find the more stable combinations $Z=114$ , $N=173$ , and $Z=106$ , $N=161$ , respectively. From the same parent, 301120, the emission of a $\ ^{49-51}{\rm Ca}$ cluster yielding a $Z=100$ , $N=152$ daughter is the most probable.  相似文献

We implement an infinite iteration scheme of Poincaré-Dulac normal form reductions to establish an energy estimate on the one-dimensional cubic nonlinear Schrödinger equation (NLS) in ${C_tL^2(\mathbb{T})}$ C t L 2 ( T ) , without using any auxiliary function space. This allows us to construct weak solutions of NLS in ${C_tL^2(\mathbb{T})}$ C t L 2 ( T ) with initial data in ${L^2(\mathbb{T})}$ L 2 ( T ) as limits of classical solutions. As a consequence of our construction, we also prove unconditional well-posedness of NLS in ${H^s(\mathbb{T})}$ H s ( T ) for ${s \geq \frac{1}{6}}$ s ≥ 1 6 .  相似文献

N,W codoped TiO 2 $\mathrm{TiO}_{2}$ nanorods were synthesized via a one-step hydrothermal method using ammonium metatungstate as the nitrogen and tungstate sources. The prepared samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), UV–visible diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (DRS), and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The results indicated that the N,W codoped TiO 2 $\mathrm{TiO}_{2}$ nanorods exhibited a higher photocatalytic activity under visible light irradiation compared with P25 and undoped TiO 2 $\mathrm{TiO}_{2}$ , because the codoping of N and W ions not only extended the visible light absorption but also promoted the separation of the photogenerated electrons and holes.  相似文献

In this article, we study the critical dissipative surface quasi-geostrophic equation (SQG) in ${\mathbb{R}^2}$ R 2 . Motivated by the study of the homogeneous statistical solutions of this equation, we show that for any large initial data θ 0 liying in the space ${\Lambda^{s} (\dot{H}^{s}_{uloc}(\mathbb{R}^2)) \cap L^\infty(\mathbb{R}^2)}$ Λ s ( H ˙ u l o c s ( R 2 ) ) ∩ L ∞ ( R 2 ) the critical (SQG) has a global weak solution in time for 1/2 <  s <  1. Our proof is based on an energy inequality verified by the equation ${(SQG)_{R,\epsilon}}$ ( S Q G ) R , ? which is nothing but the (SQG) equation with truncated and regularized initial data. By classical compactness arguments, we show that we are able to pass to the limit ( ${R \rightarrow \infty}$ R → ∞ , ${\epsilon \rightarrow 0}$ ? → 0 ) in ${(SQG)_{R,\epsilon}}$ ( S Q G ) R , ? and that the limit solution has the desired regularity.  相似文献

Continuing studies into an all-diode laser-based 3.3 μm difference frequency generation cavity ring-down spectroscopy system are presented. Light from a 1,560 nm diode laser, amplified by an erbium-doped fibre amplifier, was mixed with 1,064 nm diode laser radiation in a bulk periodically poled lithium niobate crystal to generate 16 μW of mid-IR light at 3,346 nm with a conversion efficiency of $0.05\,\%\,{\text{W}}^{-1}\,{\text{cm}}^{-1}$ . This radiation was coupled into a 77 cm long linear cavity with average mirror reflectivities of 0.9996, and a measured baseline ring-down time of $6.07\pm 0.03\,\upmu{\rm s}$ . The potential of such a spectrometer was illustrated by investigating the $P(3)$ transition in the fundamental $\nu_{3}(F_{2})$ band of ${\text{CH}}_4$ both in a 7.5 ppmv calibrated mixture of ${\text{CH}}_4$ in air and in breath samples from methane and non-methane producers under conditions where the minimum detectable absorption coefficient ( $\alpha_{\rm min}$ ) was $2.8 \times 10^{-8}\,{\rm cm}^{-1}$ over 6 s using a ring-down time acquisition rate of 20 Hz. Allan variance measurements indicated an optimum $\alpha_{\rm min}$ of $2.9\times 10^{-9}\,{\rm cm}^{-1}$ over 44 s.  相似文献

In this paper, an interacting dark energy model in a non-flat universe is studied, with taking interaction form $C=\alpha H\rho _{de}$ C = α H ρ d e . And in this study a property for the mysterious dark energy is aforehand assumed, i.e. its equation of state $w_{\Lambda }=-1$ w Λ = - 1 . After several derivations, a power-law form of dark energy density is obtained $\rho _{\Lambda } \propto a^{-\alpha }$ ρ Λ ∝ a - α , here $a$ a is the cosmic scale factor, $\alpha $ α is a constant parameter introducing to describe the interaction strength and the evolution of dark energy. By comparing with the current cosmic observations, the combined constraints on the parameter $\alpha $ α is investigated in a non-flat universe. For the used data they include: the Union2 data of type Ia supernova, the Hubble data at different redshifts including several new published datapoints, the baryon acoustic oscillation data, the cosmic microwave background data, and the observational data from cluster X-ray gas mass fraction. The constraint results on model parameters are $\Omega _{K}=0.0024\,(\pm 0.0053)^{+0.0052+0.0105}_{-0.0052-0.0103}, \alpha =-0.030\,(\pm 0.042)^{+0.041+0.079}_{-0.042-0.085}$ Ω K = 0.0024 ( ± 0.0053 ) - 0.0052 - 0.0103 + 0.0052 + 0.0105 , α = - 0.030 ( ± 0.042 ) - 0.042 - 0.085 + 0.041 + 0.079 and $\Omega _{0m}=0.282\,(\pm 0.011)^{+0.011+0.023}_{-0.011-0.022}$ Ω 0 m = 0.282 ( ± 0.011 ) - 0.011 - 0.022 + 0.011 + 0.023 . According to the constraint results, it is shown that small constraint values of $\alpha $ α indicate that the strength of interaction is weak, and at $1\sigma $ 1 σ confidence level the non-interacting cosmological constant model can not be excluded.  相似文献

This work describes an approach to design a $2\times 2$ optoelectronic switch based on the Mach–Zehnder interferometer with a channel profile of Titanium (Ti) diffused in Potassium niobate ( $\hbox {KNbO}_{3}$ ) at a wavelength of $1.3\,\upmu \hbox {m}$ . The evaluation parameters used are the insertion loss and the extinction ratio. The originality of this work is introducing the $\hbox {KNbO}_{3 }$ crystal as a host while optimizing the Ti strip thickness to provide a remarkable switching performance. Optimization leads to a lower switching voltage of 4 V, an insertion loss of 0.0261 dB and extinction ratio of 29.4 dB. The designed switch has a high switching capability and degree of reliability.  相似文献

Consider an FPU chain composed of $N\gg 1$ particles, and endow the phase space with the Gibbs measure corresponding to a small temperature $\beta ^{-1}$ . Given a fixed $K$ , we construct $K$ packets of normal modes whose energies are adiabatic invariants (i.e., are approximately constant for times of order $\beta ^{1-a}$ , $a>0$ ) for initial data in a set of large measure. Furthermore, the time autocorrelation function of the energy of each packet does not decay significantly for times of order $\beta $ . The restrictions on the shape of the packets are very mild. All estimates are uniform in the number $N$ of particles and thus hold in the thermodynamic limit $N\rightarrow \infty $ , $\beta >0$ .  相似文献

This matrices are the special case of Wegner’s $W$ -orbital models. Quinazoline-2,4( $1H,3H$ )-diones exhibit a wealth of biological activities including antitumor proliferation. We established an improved method for the synthesis of quinazoline-2,4( $1H,3H$ )-dione derivatives with three points of molecular diversity. Data indicate that compounds 60 (average $\text{ logGI}_{50} \!=\! -6.1$ ), 65 (average $\text{ logGI}_{50} \!=\! -6.13$ ), 69 (average $\text{ logGI}_{50} \!=\! -6.44$ ), 72 (average $\text{ logGI}_{50} \!=\! -6.39$ ), and 86 (average $\text{ logGI}_{50} = -6.45$ ) significantly inhibited the in vitro growth of 60 human tumor cell lines tested. Structure–activity relationship analyses indicate that chlorophenethylureido is the necessary substituent at the $\text{ D}_{3}$ diversity point (7-position of quinazoline-2,4( $1H,3H$ )-dione), in particular, $o$ -chlorophenethylurea (69) achieved optimal activity. $o$ - or $m$ -Chlorophenethyl substitutions (69 and 72) at the $\text{ D}_{2}$ diversity point (3-position of quinazo line-2,4( $1H,3H$ )-dione) gave the most potent compounds. Methoxyl and 4-methylpiperazin-1-yl substitution at the $\text{ D}_{1}$ diversity point (6-position of quinazoline-2,4( $1H,3H$ )-dione skeleton) may yield better activity than other groups. The quinazoline-2,4( $1H,3H$ )-dione scaffold can be effectively replaced by 2 $H$ -benzo[b][1,4]thiazin-3(4 $H$ )-one.  相似文献

For each $x \in [0,1]$ , $y \in [0,1)$ , $d \in [0,1)$ but $(1-y)(1-d) \ne 1$ and aspect ratio $\alpha =M/N$ fixed for the triangular lattice with diagonal edges from lower-left to upper-right, we show that there is an $\alpha _c = (d-y-dy)/[2(d+y-dy)] + [1-(1-d)^2(1-y)^2x]/[2(d+y-dy)^2]$ such that as $N \rightarrow \infty $ , $\tau (M,N)$ is $1$ , $0$ and $1/2$ for $\alpha > \alpha _c$ , $\alpha < \alpha _c$ and $\alpha =\alpha _c$ , respectively. A corresponding result is obtained for the triangular lattice with diagonal edges from lower-right to upper-left. We also investigate the rate of convergence of $\tau (M,N)$ and the asymptotic behavior of $\tau (M_N^-,N)$ and $\tau (M_N^+ ,N)$ where $M_N^-/N\uparrow \alpha _c$ and $M_N^+/N\downarrow \alpha _c$ as $N\uparrow \infty $ .  相似文献

In this paper we study a quadratic Poisson algebra structure on the space of bilinear forms on ${\mathbb{C}^{N}}$ C N with the property that for any ${n, m \in \mathbb{N}}$ n , m ∈ N such that n mN, the restriction of the Poisson algebra to the space of bilinear forms with a block-upper-triangular matrix composed from blocks of size ${m \times m}$ m × m is Poisson. We classify all central elements and characterise the Lie algebroid structure compatible with the Poisson algebra. We integrate this algebroid obtaining the corresponding groupoid of morphisms of block-upper-triangular bilinear forms. The groupoid elements automatically preserve the Poisson algebra. We then obtain the braid group action on the Poisson algebra as elementary generators within the groupoid. We discuss the affinisation and quantisation of this Poisson algebra, showing that in the case m = 1 the quantum affine algebra is the twisted q-Yangian for ${\mathfrak{o}_{n}}$ o n and for m = 2 is the twisted q-Yangian for ${(\mathfrak{sp}_{2n})}$ ( sp 2 n ) . We describe the quantum braid group action in these two examples and conjecture the form of this action for any m > 2. Finally, we give an R-matrix interpretation of our results and discuss the relation with Poisson–Lie groups.  相似文献

We propose and demonstrate a simple digital post-equalization technique to improve the bandwidth-limitation of light-emitting-diode (LED) visible-light-communication (VLC) channel. The design of finite-impulse-response equalizer according to the channel response is presented to improve the bandwidth limitation of LED VLC channel. Here, no optical blue filter is used. The simulation and experimental results show $\sim $ 10 times enhancement of the direct modulation speed of white-light LED VLC system. When compares with the previous demonstration using high-pass equalization circuit constructed by lumped capacitor and resistor, the proposed scheme shows an improvement in signal quality and transmission distance, and a 10 Mbit/s error-free free-space transmission over 1 m can be achieved under the bit error rate of $< 10^{-9}$ < 10 ? 9 .  相似文献
