This paper is focused on global exponential stability of certain switched systems with time-varying delays. By using an average dwell time (ADT) approach that is different from the method in [P.H.A. Ngoc, On exponential stability of nonlinear differential systems with time-varying delay, Applied Mathematics Letters 25 (2012) 1208–1213], we establish a new global exponential stability criterion for the switched linear time-delay system under the ADT switching. We also apply this method to a general switched nonlinear time-delay system. A numerical example is given to show the effectiveness of our results.  相似文献

The problem of Lyapunov stability for functional differential equations in Hilbert spaces is studied. The system to be considered is non-autonomous and the delay is time-varying. Known results on this problem are based on the Gronwall inequality yielding relative conservative bounds on nonlinear perturbations. In this paper, using more general Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, neither model variable transformation nor bounding restriction on nonlinear perturbations is required to obtain improved conditions for the global exponential stability of the system. The conditions given in terms of the solution of standard Riccati differential equations allow to compute simultaneously the two bounds that characterize the stability rate of the solution. The proposed method can be easily applied to some control problems of nonlinear non-autonomous control time-delay systems.  相似文献

In this paper, the problem of an exponential stability for time-delay systems with interval time-varying delays and nonlinear perturbations is investigated. Based on the Lyapunov method, a new delay-dependent criterion for exponential stability is established in terms of LMI (linear matrix inequalities). Numerical examples are carried out to support the effectiveness of our results.  相似文献

A class of nonlinear systems with homogeneous right-hand sides and time-varying delay is studied. It is assumed that the trivial solution of a system is asymptotically stable when delay is equal to zero. By the usage of the Lyapunov direct method and the Razumikhin approach, it is proved that the asymptotic stability of the zero solution of the system is preserved for an arbitrary continuous nonnegative and bounded delay. The conditions of stability of time-delay systems by homogeneous approximation are obtained. Furthermore, it is shown that the presented approaches permit to derive delay-independent stability conditions for some types of nonlinear systems with distributed delay. Two examples of nonlinear oscillatory systems are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of our results.  相似文献

The problem of exponential mean-square stability of nonlinear singularly perturbed, stochastic hybrid systems is studied in this article. Two groups of nonlinear systems are considered separately. To obtain the sufficient conditions of stability, two basic approaches of stability analysis for hybrid systems with a given Markovian switching rule and any Markovian switching rule and singularly perturbed non–hybrid systems were combined. The Lyapunov techniques were used in both approaches. The obtained results are illustrated by examples.  相似文献

The robust exponential stabilization for a class of the uncertain switched neutral nonlinear systems with time-varying delays based on the sampled-data control is investigated in this paper. The closed-loop system with sampled-data control is modeled as a continuous time system with a time-varying piecewise continuous control input delay. Considering the relationship between the sampling period and the dwell time of two switching instants, sampling interval with no switching and sampling interval with one switching are discussed, respectively. By Wirtinger-based inequality, Wirtinger-based double integral inequality, and free-weighting matrix technique, some delay-dependent sufficient conditions are given to guarantee the exponential stability of uncertain switched neutral nonlinear systems under asynchronous switching. In addition, sampled-data controllers can also be designed by special operations of matrices. Finally, two numerical examples are used to show the effectiveness of the approach proposed in this paper.  相似文献

The global uniform exponential stability of switched positive linear impulsive systems with time-varying delays and all unstable subsystems is studied in this paper, which includes two types of distributed time-varying delays and discrete time-varying delays. Switching behaviors dominating the switched systems can be either stabilizing and destabilizing in the new designed switching sequence. We design new linear programming algorithm process to find the feasible ratio of stabilizing switching behaviors, which can be compensated by unstable subsystems, destabilizing switching behaviors, and impulses. Speci cally, we add a kind of nonnegative impulses which is consistent with the switching behaviors for the systems. Employing a multiple co-positive Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, we present several new sufficient stability criteria and design new switching sequence. Then, we apply the obtained stability criteria to the exponential consensus of linear delayed multi-agent systems, and obtain the new exponential consensus criteria. Three simulations are provided to demonstrate the proposed stability criteria.  相似文献

The robust exponential stability and stabilizability problems are addressed in this paper for a class of linear parameter dependent systems with interval time-varying and constant delays. In this paper, restrictions on the derivative of the time-varying delay is not required which allows the time-delay to be a fast time-varying function. Based on the Lyapunov-Krasovskii theory, we derive delay-dependent exponential stability and stabilizability conditions in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) which can be solved by various available algorithms. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of our theoretical results.  相似文献

In this paper, theorems concerning the partial exponential stability and globally partial exponential stability of nonlinear time-varying large-scale systems are obtained via both scalar and vector Lyapunov function methods and both scalar and vector comparison technique. By describing high-order systems as collections of lower interconnected subsystems so that the partial exponential stability and globally partial exponential stability property of isolated subsystems infers the same property of the over-all system, these theorems obtained here extend and complemented the relevant known results and enriched the contents of the partial exponential stability theory for nonlinear time-varying large-scale systems. Exponential stability of time-delay systems with nonlinear uncertainties is studied in this paper. Based on the Lyapunov method and the approaches of decomposing the matrix, a new exponential stability criterion is derived in terms of a matrix inequality, which allows to compute simultaneously the two bounds that characterize the exponential nature of the solution. Slowly time-varying delays are seldom, but do need to be, considered in the context of discrete-time systems. This paper addresses the exponential stability issue of discrete-time systems with slowly time-varying delays. The basic idea is to transform, by utilizing the switching transformation approach, the original system with slowly time-varying delays into an equivalent switched system with special switching signal. Different types of delays correspond to different types of switching signals, and the stability issue of the original system is converted into that of a switched system. It is the first time that the method of switched homogeneous polynomial Lyapunov function is applied to general delayed systems. Some sufficient exponential stability conditions for the original system are proposed in several situations. It is numerically shown that the conservativeness of the proposed conditions reduces as the degree of the switched homogeneous polynomial Lyapunov function increases.  相似文献

This paper deals with the problem of global exponential stability for a general class of stochastic high-order neural networks with mixed time delays and Markovian jumping parameters. The mixed time delays under consideration comprise both discrete time-varying delays and distributed time-delays. The main purpose of this paper is to establish easily verifiable conditions under which the delayed high-order stochastic jumping neural network is exponentially stable in the mean square in the presence of both mixed time delays and Markovian switching. By employing a new Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional and conducting stochastic analysis, a linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach is developed to derive the criteria ensuring exponential stability. Furthermore, the criteria are dependent on both the discrete time-delay and distributed time-delay, and hence less conservative. The proposed criteria can be readily checked by using some standard numerical packages such as the Matlab LMI Toolbox. A simple example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness and applicability of the proposed testing criteria.  相似文献

In this paper, we focus on the robust exponential stability of a class of uncertain nonlinear impulsive switched systems with switching delays. We introduce a novel type of piecewise Lyapunov-Razumikhin functions. Such functions can efficiently eliminate the impulsive and switching jump of adjacent Lyapunov functions at impulsive switching instants. By Razumikhin technique, the delay-independent criteria of exponential stability are established on the minimum dwell time. In this paper, the stability of nonlinear systems with time-varying delays is investigated by means of the concepts of generalized Dahlquist constant, generalized relative Dahlquist constant and relative minimal Lipschitz constant. In detail, two sufficient conditions are derived for the exponential stability of nonlinear systems with time-varying delays and the exponential decay of the solutions is also estimated. Compared with some existing results, our stability conditions are less conservative. Some examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the obtained results.  相似文献
