The reactions of Pb(OAc)2 with 1,2,4,5-benzenetetrathiol, 1,4-benzenedithiol, and benzenehexathiol in ethylenediamine yield bright yellow [Pb2(S2C6H2S2)(en)]n, orange-red [Pb3(SC6H4S)3(en)2]n, and brown [Pb3C6S6]n, respectively. The structures of [Pb2(S2C6H2S2)(en)]n and [Pb3C6S6]n were solved by synchrotron X-ray powder diffraction, while the structure of [Pb3(SC6H4S)3(en)2]n was solved by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The bonding in [Pb2(S2C6H2S2)(en)]n indicates the presence of "molecular" units, while in [Pb3C6S6]n, the bonding most resembles that in an inorganic solid such as PbS. The differences in bonding are reflected in the optical and electrical properties of the materials; [Pb3C6S6]n is a semiconductor.  相似文献

Two transition-metal tetrathioarsenate complexes, [Mn(dien)(2)](n)[Mn(dien)AsS(4)](2n).4nH(2)O (1) with one-dimensional water chain and [Mn(en)(3)](2)[Mn(en)(2)AsS(4)][As(3)S(6)] (2) with mixed-valence As(3+)/As(5+) character, have been synthesized and structurally characterized. The tetrathioarsenate(V) anion acts as a novel mu(2)-eta(1),eta(2) ligand in 1 and as a chelating ligand in 2. The two compounds exhibit intriguing semiconducting properties (E(g) = 2.18 eV (1), 2.48 eV (2)) and strong photoluminescence with the emission maximum occurring around 440 nm.  相似文献

Two novel lanthanide selenidoarsenates(v) [Ln(dien)2(micro(3)-AsSe(4))] (Ln = Nd 1, Sm 2, dien = diethylenetriamine) were synthesized by the reactions of As(2)O(3) and Se with Nd(2)O(3) or Sm(2)O(3) in dien under solvothermal conditions. 1 and 2 are in the orthorhombic crystal system with Iba2 and Pbca space groups, respectively. The [AsSe(4)](3-) anion acts as a tridentate micro(3)-AsSe(4) ligand to bridge the lanthanide [Ln(dien)2](3+) complexes leading to one-dimensional neutral [Ln(dien)(2)(micro(3)-AsSe(4))](infinity) chains. The chains contact through hydrogen bonding to form network structures. The lanthanide center lies within a nine-coordinated environment involving six N atoms of two dien ligands and three Se atoms of two different tetrahedral [AsSe(4)](3-) anions forming a distorted monocapped square antiprism. The novel coordination polymers [Nd(dien)2(micro(3)-AsSe(4))](infinity) and [Sm(dien)2(micro(3)-AsSe(4))](infinity) are the first examples of solvothermally synthesized selenidoarsenates with [AsSe(4)](3-) anion acting as a ligand in lanthanide complexes. The band gaps of 2.11 eV for 1, and 2.18 eV for 2 have been derived from optical absorption spectra. TG-DSC curves show that two compounds remove coordinated dien ligands in a single step.  相似文献

The [3 + 1] reaction of [W(3)S(4)(H(2)O)(9)](4+) with [W(CO)(6)] in 2 M HCl under hydrothermal conditions (130 degrees C) gives the [W(4)S(4)(H(2)O)(12)](6+) cuboidal cluster, reduction potential 35 mV vs NHE (6+/5+ couple). The reduced form is obtained by controlled potential electrolysis. X-ray crystal structure was determined for (Me(2)NH(2))(6)[W(4)S(4)(NCS)(12)].0.5H(2)O. The W-W and W-S bond lengths are 2.840 and 2.379 A, respectively.  相似文献

The reaction of [Mo(3)S(4)(H(2)O)(9)](4+) with Bi(III) in the presence of BH(4)(-) (rapid), or with Bi metal shot (3-4 days), gives a heterometallic cluster product. The latter has been characterized as the corner-shared double cube [Mo(6)BiS(8)(H(2)O)(18)](8+) by the following procedures. Analyses by ICP-AES confirm the Mo:Bi:S ratio as 6:1:8. Elution from a cation-exchange column by 4 M Hpts (Hpts = p-toluenesulfonic acid), but not 2 M Hpts (or 4 M HClO(4)), is consistent with a high charge. The latter is confirmed as 8+ from the 3:1 stoichiometries observed for the oxidations with [Co(dipic)(2)](-) or [Fe(H(2)O)(6)](3+) yielding [Mo(3)S(4)(H(2)O)(9)](4+) and Bi(III) as products. Heterometallic clusters [Mo(6)MS(8)(H(2)O)(18)](8+) are now known for M = Hg, In, Tl, Sn, Pb, Sb, and Bi and are a feature of the P-block main group metals. The color of [Mo(6)BiS(8)(H(2)O)(18)](8+) in 2.0 M Hpts (turquoise) is different from that in 2.0 M HCl (green-blue). Kinetic studies (25 degrees C) for uptake of a single chloride k(f) = 0.80 M(-)(1) s(-)(1), I = 2.0 M (Hpts), and the high affinity for Cl(-) (K > 40 M(-)(1)) exceeds that observed for complexing at Mo. A specific heterometal interaction of the Cl(-) not observed in the case of other double cubes is indicated. The Cl(-) can be removed by cation-exchange chromatography with retention of the double-cube structure. Kinetic studies with [Co(dipic)(2)](-) and hexaaqua-Fe(III) as oxidants form part of a survey of redox properties of this and other clusters. The Cl(-) adduct is more readily oxidized by [Co(dipic)(2)](-) (factor of approximately 10) and is also more air sensitive.  相似文献

To probe how H-bonding effects the redox potential changes in Fe-S proteins, we produced and studied a series of gaseous cubane-type analogue complexes, [Fe(4)S(4)(SEt)(3)(SC(n)H(2n+1))](2-) and [Fe(4)S(4)(SEt)(3)(SC(n)H(2n)OH)](2-) (n = 4, 6, 11; Et = C(2)H(5)). Intrinsic redox potentials for the [Fe(4)S(4)](2+/3+) redox couple involved in these complexes were measured by photoelectron spectroscopy. The oxidation energies from [Fe(4)S(4)(SEt)(3)(SC(n)H(2n)OH)](2-) to [Fe(4)S(4)(SEt)(3)(SC(n)H(2n)OH)](-) were determined directly from the photoelectron spectra to be approximately 130 meV higher than those for the corresponding [Fe(4)S(4)(SEt)(3)(SC(n)H(2n+1))](2-) systems, because of the OH...S hydrogen bond in the former. Preliminary Monte Carlo and density functional calculations showed that the H-bonding takes place between the -OH group and the S on the terminal ligand in [Fe(4)S(4)(SEt)(3)(SC(6)H(12)OH)](2-). The current data provide a direct experimental measure of a net H-bonding effect on the redox potential of [Fe(4)S(4)] clusters without the perturbation of other environmental effects.  相似文献

Treatment of trans-[PtCl(2)(PPh(2 - n)(C(6)F(5))(n + 1))(2)](n = 0 or 1) with Pb(SC(6)HF(4)-4)(2) yields a mixture of monometallic cis/trans [Pt(SC(6)HF(4)-4)(2)(PPh(2 - n)(C(6)F(5))(n + 1))(2)], thiolate-bridged bimetallic cis/trans [Pt(2)(mu-SC(6)HF(4)-4)(2)(SC(6)HF(4)-4)(2)(PPh(2 - n)(C(6)F(5))(n + 1))(2)] and [Pt(SC(6)HF(4)-4)(2)(1,2-C(6)F(4)(SC(6)HF(4)-4)(PPh(2 - n)(C(6)F(5))(n))].  相似文献

Cyano-bridged homometallic complex [Ni(baepn)(CN)](n)(ClO(4))(n)(1) and bimetallic complex [Ni(baepn)](2)(n)[Fe(CN)(6)](n)(H(2)O)(8)(n)(2) [baepn = N,N'-bis(2-aminoethyl)-1,3-propanediamine] were synthesized and characterized. 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n with a = 9.560(3) A, b = 10.700(3) A, c = 14.138(9) A, beta = 90.18(6) degrees, and Z = 4; 2 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c with a = 8.951(2) A, b = 13.672(3) A, c = 14.392(3) A, beta = 98.906(4) degrees, and Z = 4. The complex 1 has one-dimensional structure whose chain vector runs along the b axis with baepn ligands and perchlorate anions alternately arranged up and down in the c direction. The antiferromagnetic nature of 1 was explained in terms of the infinite chain model and Haldane gap, giving g = 2.33, J = -29.4 cm(-1), and the magnitude of Haldane gap E(g) = 5.22 K. The complex 2 that constitutes the first example of 2-D bimetallic assembly of Ni(II) ion and ferrocyanide anion is composed of the neutral layers based on the [Ni(4)Fe(4)] square grid spanning in the bc plane. For 2, the analysis with the Curie-Weiss law in 2-300 K range results in THETA = 0.200 K and the magnetism was explained in terms of the ability of ferrocyanide in the -Ni-NC-Fe-CN-Ni unit to promote ferromagnetic Ni-Ni interaction.  相似文献

A series of new heterometallic coordination polymers has been prepared from the reaction of metal-ligand cations and KAg(CN)(2) units. Many of these contain silver-silver (argentophilic) interactions, analogous to gold-gold interactions, which serve to increase supramolecular structural dimensionality. Compared to [Au(CN)(2)](-) analogues, these polymers display new trends specific to [Ag(CN)(2)](-), including the formation of [Ag(2)(CN)(3)](-) and the presence of Ag...N interactions. [Cu(en)(2)][Ag(2)(CN)(3)][Ag(CN)(2)] (1, en = ethylenediamine) forms 1-D chains of alternating [Ag(CN)(2)](-) and [Ag(2)(CN)(3)](-) units via argentophilic interactions of 3.102(1) A. These chains are connected into a 2-D array by strong cyano(N)-Ag interactions of 2.572(3) A. [Cu(dien)Ag(CN)(2)](2)[Ag(2)(CN)(3)][Ag(CN)(2)] (2, dien = diethylenetriamine) forms a 1-D chain of alternating [Cu(dien)](2+) and [Ag(CN)(2)](-) ions with the Cu(II) atoms connected in an apical/equatorial fashion. These chains are cross-linked by [Ag(2)(CN)(3)](-) units via argentophilic interactions of 3.1718(8) A and held weakly in a 3-D array by argentophilic interactions of 3.2889(5) A between the [Ag(CN)(2)](-) in the 2-D array and the remaining free [Ag(CN)(2)](-). [Ni(en)][Ni(CN)(4)].2.5H(2)O (4) was identified as a byproduct in the reaction to prepare the previously reported [Ni(en)(2)Ag(2)(CN)(3)][Ag(CN)(2)] (3). In [Ni(tren)Ag(CN)(2)][Ag(CN)(2)] (5, tren = tris(2-aminoethyl)amine), [Ni(tren)](2+) cations are linked in a cis fashion by [Ag(CN)(2)](-) anions to form a 1-D chain similar to the [Au(CN)(2)](-) analogue. [Cu(en)Cu(CN)(2)Ag(CN)(2)] (6) is a trimetallic polymer consisting of interpenetrating (6,3) nets stabilized by d(10)-d(10) interactions between Cu(I)-Ag(I) (3.1000(4) A). Weak antiferromagnetic coupling has been observed in 2, and a slightly stronger exchange has been observed in 6. The Ni(II) complexes, 4 and 5, display weak antiferromagnetic interactions as indicated by their relatively larger D values compared to that of 3. Magnetic measurements on isostructural [Ni(tren)M(CN)(2)][M(CN)(2)] (M = Ag, Au) show that Ag(I) is a more efficient mediator of magnetic exchange as compared to Au(I). The formation of [Ni(CN)(4)](2)(-), [Ag(2)(CN)(3)](-), and [Cu(CN)(2)](-) are all attributed to secondary reactions of the dissociation products of the labile KAg(CN)(2).  相似文献

The clusters [Fe(6)S(8)(PEt(3))(6)](+,2+) have been shown by other investigators to be formed by the reaction of [Fe(OH(2))(6)](2+) and H(2)S, to contain face-capped octahedral Fe(6)S(8) cores, and to be components of the five-membered electron transfer series [Fe(6)S(8)(PEt(3))(6)](n)()(+) (n = 0-4) estalished electrochemically. We have prepared two additional series members. Reaction of [Fe(6)S(8)(PEt(3))(6)](2+) with iodine in dichloromethane affords [Fe(6)S(8)(PEt(3))(6)](3+), isolated as the perchlorate salt (48%). Reduction of [Fe(6)S(8)(PEt(3))(6)](2+) with Na(Ph(2)CO) in acetonitrile/THF produces the neutral cluster [Fe(6)S(8)(PEt(3))(6)] (65%). The structures of the four clusters with n = 0, 1+, 2+, 3+ were determined at 223 K. The compounds [Fe(6)S(8)(PEt(3))(6)](ClO(4))(3), [Fe(6)S(8)(PEt(3))(6)] crystallize in trigonal space group R&thremacr;c with a = 21.691(4), 16.951(4) ?, c = 23.235(6), 19.369(4) ?, and Z = 6, 3. The compounds [Fe(6)S(8)(PEt(3))(6)](BF(4))(2), [Fe(6)S(8)(PEt(3))(6)](BF(4)).2MeCN were obtained in monoclinic space groups P2(1)/c, C2/c with a = 11.673(3), 16.371(4) ?, b = 20.810(5), 16.796(4) ?, c = 12.438(4), 23.617(7) ?, beta = 96.10(2), 97.98(2) degrees, and Z = 2, 4. [Fe(6)S(8)(PEt(3))(6)](BPh(4))(2) occurred in trigonal space group P&onemacr; with a = 11.792(4) ?, b = 14.350(5) ?, c = 15.536(6) ?, alpha = 115.33(3) degrees, beta = 90.34(3) degrees, gamma = 104.49(3) degrees, and Z = 1. Changes in metric features across the series are slight but indicate increasing population of antibonding Fe(6)S(8) core orbitals upon reduction. Zero-field M?ssbauer spectra are consistent with this result, isomer shifts increasing by ca. 0.05 mm/s for each electron added, and indicate a delocalized electronic structure. Magnetic susceptibility measurements together with previously reported results established the ground states S = (3)/(2) (3+), 3 (2+), (7)/(2) (1+), 3 (0). The clusters [Fe(6)S(8)(PEt(3))(6)](n)()(+) possess the structural and electronic features requisite to multisequential electron transfer reactions. This work provides the first example of a cluster type isolated over four consecutive oxidation states. Note is also made of the significance of the [Fe(6)S(8)(PEt(3))(6)](n)()(+) cluster type in the development of iron-sulfur-phosphine cluster chemistry.  相似文献

A reinvestigation of the redox behavior of the [Fe(3)(&mgr;(3)-S)(CO)(9)](2)(-) dianion led to the isolation and characterization of the new [Fe(5)S(2)(CO)(14)](2)(-), as well as the known [Fe(6)S(6)(CO)(12)](2)(-) dianion. As a corollary, new syntheses of the [Fe(3)S(CO)(9)](2)(-) dianion are also reported. The [Fe(5)S(2)(CO)(14)](2)(-) dianion has been obtained by oxidative condensation of [Fe(3)S(CO)(9)](2)(-) induced by tropylium and Ag(I) salts or SCl(2), or more straightforwardly through the reaction of [Fe(4)(CO)(13)](2)(-) with SCl(2). The [Fe(6)S(6)(CO)(12)](2)(-) dianion has been isolated as a byproduct of the synthesis of [Fe(3)S(CO)(9)](2)(-) and [Fe(5)S(2)(CO)(14)](2)(-) or by reaction of [Fe(4)(CO)(13)](2)(-) with elemental sulfur. The structures of [N(PPh(3))(2)](2)[Fe(5)S(2)(CO)(14)] and [N(PPh(3))(2)](2)[Fe(6)S(6)(CO)(12)] were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses. Crystal data: for [N(PPh(3))(2)](2)[Fe(5)S(2)(CO)(14)], monoclinic, space group P2(1)/c (No. 14), a = 24.060(5), b = 14.355(6), c = 23.898(13) ?, beta = 90.42(3) degrees, Z = 4; for [N(PPh(3))(2)](2)[Fe(6)S(6)(CO)(12)], monoclinic, space group C2/c (No. 15), a = 34.424(4), b = 14.081(2), c = 19.674(2) ?, beta = 115.72(1) degrees, Z = 4. The new [Fe(5)S(2)(CO)(14)](2)(-) dianion shows a "bow tie" arrangement of the five metal atoms. The two Fe(3) triangles sharing the central Fe atom are not coplanar and show a dihedral angle of 55.08(3) degrees. Each Fe(3) moiety is capped by a triply bridging sulfide ligand. The 14 carbonyl groups are all terminal; two are bonded to the unique central atom and three to each peripheral iron atom. Protonation of the [Fe(5)S(2)(CO)(14)](2)(-) dianion gives reversibly rise to the corresponding [HFe(5)S(2)(CO)(14)](-) monohydride derivative, which shows an (1)H-NMR signal at delta -21.7 ppm. Its further protonation results in decomposition to mixtures of Fe(2)S(2)(CO)(6) and Fe(3)S(2)(CO)(9), rather than formation of the expected H(2)Fe(5)S(2)(CO)(14) dihydride. Exhaustive reduction of [Fe(5)S(2)(CO)(14)](2)(-) with sodium diphenyl ketyl progressively leads to fragmentation into [Fe(3)S(CO)(9)](2)(-) and [Fe(CO)(4)](2)(-), whereas electrochemical, as well as chemical oxidation with silver or tropylium tetrafluoroborate, in dichloromethane, generates the corresponding [Fe(5)S(2)(CO)(14)](-) radical anion which exhibits an ESR signal at g = 2.067 at 200 K. The electrochemical studies also indicated the existence of a subsequent one-electron anodic oxidation which possesses features of chemical reversibility in dichloromethane but not in acetonitrile solution. A reexamination of the electrochemical behavior of the [Fe(3)S(CO)(9)](2)(-) dianion coupled with ESR monitoring enabled the spectroscopic characterization of the [Fe(3)S(CO)(9)](-) radical monoanion and demonstrated its direct involvement in the generation of the [Fe(5)S(2)(CO)(14)](n)()(-) (n = 0, 1, 2) system.  相似文献

We used photoelectron spectroscopy (PES) to study how the terminal ligands influence the electronic structure and redox properties of the [4Fe-4S] cubane in several series of ligand-substituted analogue complexes: [Fe(4)S(4)Cl(4-x)(CN)(x)](2-), [Fe(4)S(4)Cl(4-x)(SCN)(x)](2-), [Fe(4)S(4)Cl(4-x)(OAc)(x)](2-), [Fe(4)S(4)(SC(2)H(5))(4-x)(OPr)(x)](2-), and [Fe(4)S(4)(SC(2)H(5))(4-x)Cl(x)](2-) (x = 0-4). All the ligand-substituted complexes gave similar PES spectral features as the parents, suggesting that the mixed-ligand coordination does not perturb the electronic structure of the cubane core significantly. The terminal ligands, however, have profound effects on the electron binding energies of the cubane and induce significant shifts of the PES spectra, increasing in the order SC(2)H(5)(-) --> Cl(-) --> OAc(-)/OPr(-) --> CN(-) --> SCN(-). A linear relationship between the electron binding energies and the substitution number x was observed for each series, indicating that each ligand contributes independently and additively to the total binding energy. The electron binding energies of the gaseous complexes represent their intrinsic oxidation energies; the observed linear dependence on x is consistent with similar observations on the redox potentials of mixed-ligand cubane complexes in solution. The current study reveals the electrostatic nature of the interaction between the [4Fe-4S] cubane core and its coordination environment and provides further evidence for the electronic and structural stability of the cubane core and its robustness as a structural and functional unit in Fe-S proteins.  相似文献

By reaction of K4[SnSe4].1.5 MeOH with CdCl2 or Hg(OAc)2 in water/methanol it was possible to prepare single crystals of four novel compounds that contain ternary anionic coordination oligomers and polymers: [K10(H2O)16(MeOH)(0.5)][M4(mu4-Se)(SnSe4)4] (4: M=Cd, 5: M=Hg), [K6(H2O)3][Hg4(mu4-Se)(SnSe4)3].MeOH (6), and K2[HgSnSe4] (7), which were structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The optical absorption properties of the isostructural compounds 4 and 5, as well as those of the recently reported Zn (2) and Mn (3) analogues, were studied by UV-visible spectroscopy. These investigations showed the quaternary phases to have relatively small optical gaps for their molecular size (2.2-2.6 eV), which are similar to the excitation energies that were observed for mesostructured solids of the respective combination of elements. According to DFT investigations on the ternary anions, an experimentally observed difference between the absorption behavior of the d10 compounds 2, 4, and 5 and the open-shell d(5) compound 3 is in line with different characters of the frontier orbitals in the two cases. Both the calculations and a magnetic measurement on 3 demonstrated antiferromagnetic coupling between the mu(4)-Se-bridged Mn centers.  相似文献

The Mo(3)SnS(4)(6+) single cube is obtained by direct addition of Sn(2+) to [Mo(3)S(4)(H(2)O)(9)](4+). UV-vis spectra of the product (0.13 mM) in 2.00 M HClO(4), Hpts, and HCl indicate a marked affinity of the Sn for Cl(-), with formation of the more strongly yellow [Mo(3)(SnCl(3))S(4)(H(2)O)(9)](3+) complex complete in as little as 0.050 M Cl(-). The X-ray crystal structure of (Me(2)NH(2))(6)[Mo(3)(SnCl(3))S(4)(NCS)(9)].0.5H(2)O has been determined and gives Mo-Mo (mean 2.730 ?) and Mo-Sn (mean 3.732 ?) distances, with a difference close to 1 ?. The red-purple double cube cation [Mo(6)SnS(8)(H(2)O)(18)](8+) is obtained by reacting Sn metal with [Mo(3)S(4)(H(2)O)(9)](4+). The double cube is also obtained in approximately 50% yield by BH(4)(-) reduction of a 1:1 mixture of [Mo(3)SnS(4)(H(2)O)(10)](6+) and [Mo(3)S(4)(H(2)O)(9)](4+). Conversely two-electron oxidation of [Mo(6)SnS(8)(H(2)O)(18)](8+) with [Co(dipic)(2)](-) or [Fe(H(2)O(6)](3+) gives the single cube [Mo(3)SnS(4)(H(2)O)(12)](6+) and [Mo(3)S(4)(H(2)O)(9)](4+) (up to 70% yield), followed by further two-electron oxidation to [Mo(3)S(4)(H(2)O)(9)](4+) and Sn(IV). The kinetics of the first stages have been studied using the stopped-flow method and give rate laws first order in [Mo(6)SnS(8)(H(2)O)(18)](8+) and the Co(III) or Fe(III) oxidant. The oxidation with [Co(dipic)(2)](-) has no [H(+)] dependence, [H(+)] = 0.50-2.00 M. With Fe(III) as oxidant, reaction steps involving [Fe(H(2)O)(6)](3+) and [Fe(H(2)O)(5)OH](2+) are implicated. At 25 degrees C and I = 2.00 M (Li(pts)) k(Co) is 14.9 M(-)(1) s(-)(1) and k(a) for the reaction of [Fe(H(2)O)(6)](3+) is 0.68 M(-)(1) s(-)(1) (both outer-sphere reactions). Reaction of Cu(2+) with the double but not the single cube is observed, yielding [Mo(3)CuS(4)(H(2)O)(10)](5+). A redox-controlled mechanism involving intermediate formation of Cu(+) and [Mo(3)S(4)(H(2)O)(9)](4+) accounts for the changes observed.  相似文献

Treatment of two kinds of ferrocenyl-substituted carboxylate ligands (3-ferrocenyl-2-crotonic acid, HOOC-CH=(CH(3))CFc (Fc=(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))Fe(eta(5)-C(5)H(4))) or O-ferrocecarbonyl benzoic acid, o-HOOCC(6)H(4)COFc with Pb(OAc)(2).3H(2)O, Zn(OAc)(2).2H(2)O, or Cd(OAc)(2).2H(2)O) resulted in four novel ferrocene-containing coordination polymers [[Pb(mu(2)-eta(2)-OOCCH=(CH(3))CFc)(2)].MeOH](n) (1), [[Zn(o-OOCC(6)H(4)COFc)(2)(4,4'-bipy)(H(2)O)(2)].2MeOH.2H(2)O](n) (4,4'-bipy = 4,4'-bipyridine) (2), [[Cd(o-OOCC(6)H(4)COFc)(2)(bpe)(MeOH)(2)].2H(2)O](n) (bpe = 1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethene) (3), and [Pb(o-OOCC(6)H(4)COFc)(eta(2)-o-OOCC(6)H(4)COFc)(bpe)](n)() (4). Their crystal structures have been characterized by single X-ray determinations. In polymer 1, Pb(II) ions are bridged by tridentate FcC(CH(3))=CHCOO(-) anions, forming an infinite chain [Pb(mu(2)-eta(2)-OOC=CH(CH(3))CFc)(2)](n). In polymers 2-4, there are three kinds of components, metal ions, o-FcCOC(6)H(4)COO(-) units, and organic bridging ligands. The bipyridine-based ligands connect metal ions leading to a one-dimensional chain with o-FcCOC(6)H(4)COO(-) units acting as monodentate or chelate ligands in the side chain. Such coordination polymers containing ferrocenyl-substituted carboxylate and bipyridine-based ligands are very rare. The solution-state differential pulse voltammetries of polymers 1-4 were determined. The results indicate that the half-wave potential of the ferrocenyl moieties is influenced by the Pb(II) ions in polymer 1 and strongly influenced by Zn(II), Cd(II), or Pb(II) ions in polymers 2-4. The thermal properties of the four polymers were also investigated.  相似文献

The kinetics of the reaction between [S(2)MoS(2)Cu(SC(6)H(4)R-4)](2-)(R = MeO, H, Cl or NO(2)) and CN(-) to form [S(2)MoS(2)CuCN](2-) have been studied in MeCN using stopped-flow spectrophotometry. In all cases, the rate law is of the form, Rate ={k+k(2)(R)[CN(-)]}[S(2)MoS(2)Cu(SC(6)H(4)R-4)(2-)]. It is proposed that both k and k correspond to associative substitution mechanisms. The k pathway involves attack by CN(-) at the copper site followed by dissociation of the thiolate. The k pathway involves attack of the solvent (MeCN) at the copper site, followed by dissociation of the thiolate to form [S(2)MoS(2)Cu(NCMe)](-). Subsequent rapid substitution of the coordinated solvent by cyanide produces [S(2)MoS(2)CuCN](2-). The evidence that both the k and k pathways involve associative mechanisms are: (i) the 4-R-substituent on the thiolate ligand has a similar effect on both k and k, with electron-withdrawing 4-R-substituents facilitating substitution; (ii) both the k and k pathways are associated with similar activation parameters (for k(1)(H): DeltaH++ = 5.5 +/- 0.5 kcal mol(-1), DeltaS++ = -23.9 +/- 2.0 cal deg(-1) mol(-1); for k(2)(H): DeltaH++ = 2.3 +/- 0.5 kcal mol(-1), DeltaS++ = - 23.9 +/- 2.0 cal deg(-1) mol(-1)) and (iii) addition of C(6)H(5)S(-) results in a similar increase in both k and k.  相似文献

A detailed analysis of the (35)Cl/(37)Cl isotope shifts induced in the 128.8 MHz (195)Pt NMR resonances of [PtCl(n)(H(2)O)(6 - n)](4 - n) complexes (n = 6,5,4) in acidic solution at 293 K, shows that the unique isotopologue and isotopomer distribution displayed by the resolved (195)Pt resonances, serve as a fingerprint for the unambiguous identification and assignment of the isotopic stereoisomers of [PtCl(5)(H(2)O)](-) and cis/trans-[PtCl(4)(H(2)O)(2)].  相似文献

Reaction of copper(I) iodide with pyridine-2-thione (2-SC5H4NH) and 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane (dppe) in a CH3CN-CHCl3 mixture yielded a triangular cluster, [Cu3I3(mu2-P,P-dppe)3 (eta1-SC5H4NH)], 1. Similar reaction with 2-SC5H4NH and a series of diphosphanes, Ph2P-X-Ph2P {X = -CH2- (dppm), -(CH2)3- (dppp), -(CH2)4- (dppb), -CH=CH- (dppen)}, gave a novel iodo-bridged hexanuclear Cu(I) linear polymer,{Cu6(mu3-SC5H4NH)4 (mu2-SC5H4NH)2 (I4)(mu-I)2-}n x 2nCH3CN, 2. Reactions of copper(I) iodide/copper(I) bromide with 1,3-imidazolidine-2-thione (SC3H6N2) in a CH3CN-CHCl3 mixture yielded hexanuclear Cu(I) linear chain polymers, [{Cu6(mu3-SC3H6N2)2 (mu2-SC3H6N2)4X2 (mu-X)4}n] (X = Br, 4; I, 5). In compound 1, two iodide atoms and one dppe form the dinuclear Cu(mu2-I)2 (mu2-dppe)Cu core, and two dppe ligands bridge this core with the third Cu(I) center coordinated to 2-SC5H4NH via the S atom. The chain polymer 2 has a centrosymmetric hexanuclear central core, Cu6S6I4 (mu-I)2--, formed by dimerization of six-membered trinuclear motifs, Cu3(mu2-SC3H6N2)3I3 via (mu3-S) bonding modes of the thione ligand, and has four terminal and two bridging iodine atoms in trans-orientations. Linear chains are separated by the nonbonded acetonitrile molecules. In 4 and 5, three copper(I) bromide or copper(I) iodide moieties and three SC3H6N2 ligands combined via bridging S donor atoms to form the six-membered trinuclear Cu3(mu2-SC3H6N2)3I3 cores which polymerized via S and X atoms in a side-on fashion to form linear chain polymers, [{Cu6(mu3-SC3H6N2)2 (mu2-SC3H6N2)4X2(mu-X)4}n]. The (mu3-S) modes of bonding of neutral heterocyclic thioamides are first examples, as are trinuclear cluster and linear polymers rare examples in copper chemistry.  相似文献

A series of new lanthanide thiostannates(IV), [Y(2)(dien)(4)(μ-OH)(2)]Sn(2)S(6) (1, dien = diethyl-enetriamine), (tetaH)(2)[Ln(2)(teta)(2)(tren)(2)(μ-Sn(2)S(6))]Sn(2)S(6) [Ln = Eu (2), Sm (3); teta = triethylenetetramine; tren = tris(2-aminoethyl)amine] and [Eu(2)(tepa)(2)(μ-OH)(2)(μ-Sn(2)S(6))](tepa)(0.5)·H(2)O (4, tepa = tetraethylene-pentamine) were solvothermally synthesized and structurally characterized. 1 consists of a binuclear [Y(2)(dien)(4)(μ(2)-OH)(2)](4+) cation and a discrete dimeric [Sn(2)S(6)](4-) anion. Both 2 and 3 are isostructural and composed of [Ln(2)(teta)(2)(tren)(2)(μ-Sn(2)S(6))](2+) cations, protonated triethylenetetramines (tetaH), and discrete dimeric [Sn(2)S(6)](4-) anions. A Sn(2)S(6)(4-) anion bridges two [Ln(teta)(tren)](3+) cations via the trans-S(t) (t = terminal) atoms to form the first examples of inorganic-organic hybrid thiostannate cations [Ln(2)(teta)(2)(tren)(2)(μ-Sn(2)S(6))](2+). 4 consists of one-dimensional (1-D) neutral chains [Eu(2)(tepa)(2)(μ-OH)(2)(μ-Sn(2)S(6))](n) built up from the linkage of dinuclear complex cations [Eu(2)(tepa)(2)(μ(2)-OH)(2)](4+) and bridging anions [Sn(2)S(6)](4-), free tepa molecules, and lattice water molecules. The present compounds exhibit wide-band gap semiconducting properties with absorption band edges between 2.40 and 2.91 eV.  相似文献

Interaction of the lacunary [alpha-XW(9)O(33)](9-) (X = As(III), Sb(III)) with Fe(3+) ions in acidic, aqueous medium leads to the formation of dimeric polyoxoanions, [Fe(4)(H(2)O)(10)(beta-XW(9)O(33))(2)](6-) (X = As(III), Sb(III)) in high yield. X-ray single-crystal analyses were carried out on Na(6)[Fe(4)(H(2)O)(10)(beta-AsW(9)O(33))(2)] x 32H(2)O, which crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group C2/m, with a = 20.2493(18) A, b = 15.2678(13) A, c = 16.0689(14) A, beta = 95.766(2) degrees, and Z = 2; Na(6)[Fe(4)(H(2)O)(10)(beta-SbW(9)O(33))(2)] x 32H(2)O is isomorphous with a = 20.1542(18) A, b = 15.2204(13) A, c = 16.1469(14) A, and beta = 95.795(2) degrees. The selenium and tellurium analogues are also reported, [Fe(4)(H(2)O)(10)(beta-XW(9)O(33))(2)](4-) (X = Se(IV), Te(IV)). They are synthesized from sodium tungstate and a source of the heteroatom as precursors. X-ray single-crystal analysis was carried out on Cs(4)[Fe(4)(H(2)O)(10)(beta-SeW(9)O(33))(2)] x 21H(2)O, which crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P macro 1, with a = 12.6648(10) A, b = 12.8247(10) A, c = 16.1588(13) A, alpha = 75.6540(10) degrees, beta = 87.9550(10) degrees, gamma = 64.3610(10) gamma, and Z = 1. All title polyanions consist of two (beta-XW(9)O(33)) units joined by a central pair and a peripheral pair of Fe(3+) ions leading to a structure with idealized C(2h) symmetry. It was also possible to synthesize the Cr(III) derivatives [Cr(4)(H(2)O)(10)(beta-XW(9)O(33))(2)](6-) (X = As(III), Sb(III)), the tungstoselenates(IV) [M(4)(H(2)O)(10)(beta-SeW(9)O(33))(2)]((16)(-)(4n)-) (M(n+) = Cr(3+), Mn(2+), Co(2+), Ni(2+), Zn(2+), Cd(2+), and Hg(2+)), and the tungstotellurates(IV) [M(4)(H(2)O)(10)(beta-TeW(9)O(33))(2)]((16-4n)-) (M(n+) = Cr(3+), Mn(2+), Co(2+), Ni(2+), Cu(2+), Zn(2+), Cd(2+), and Hg(2+)), as determined by FTIR. The electrochemical properties of the iron-containing species were also studied. Cyclic voltammetry and controlled potential coulometry aided in distinguishing between Fe(3+) and W(6+) waves. By variation of pH and scan rate, it was possible to observe the stepwise reduction of the Fe(3+) centers.  相似文献
