A thermodynamic study of the complexation of Cu2+, Pb2+, Zn2+ and Cd2+ ions with 1 and 2 in acetonitrile has been carried out. The study was conducted in the temperature range 283–308 K using a conductometric technique. The observed molar conductivity, Λ, was found to decrease significantly for mole ratios [L]t/[M]t less than unity in all cases. A model involving 1:1 stoichiometry has been used to analyze the conductivity data. The stability constant, K, for each 1:1 complex was determined from the conductivity data by using a nonlinear least-squares curve fitting procedure. The results show that compound 1 has no peak selectivity for any of the metal cations, while compound 2 selectively associates with Cu2+ and Pb2+. Complexes of 1 have the following stability order Pb2+ > Cu2+ > Zn2+ > Cd2+  and Pb2+ > Cu2+ for the complexes of 2. The ?H° and ?S° values for the complexation process were obtained from the slope and intercept of the Van’t Hoff plots respectively. All ?G° values were negative and were determined from the Gibbs–Helmholtz equation and the significance of these values is discussed.  相似文献

The complexation of Ag+ ions with L-cysteine anions (Cys2?) at 25°C was studied potentiometrically against the background of 0.1 M KNO3. The AgCys? (log?? = 11.14 ± 0.10), AgHCys (log?? = 20.77 ± 0.06), Ag2Cys (log?? = 20.32 ± 0.17), and Ag2HCys+ (log?? = 27.28 ± 0.12) soluble complexes were found to be formed.  相似文献

Superabsorbent materials based on natural products have been synthesized by free radical oxidation of corn starch using a redox system consisting of potassium permanganate and sodium bisulfite. The resulting oxidized starches were characterized by analyzing the variation of carbonyl and carboxyl contents. The swelling ability of these samples has been determined by gravimetric method in water and in saline solutions. The effect of oxidant concentration and bleaching procedure on the water absorption capacity has been studied. The ability to remove heavy metals in water solution has been tested against Cd2+, Ni2+, Pb2+ and Zn2+ ions, showing higher percentage of remotion for the unbleached oxidized starches, in particular against nickel ions. The effect of the water-ethanol and water-DMSO solvent composition on the stability of nicotinamide (NicNH2) complexes with Ag+ ions at an ionic strength of 0.25 (NaClO4) and a temperature of 25 ± 0.1°C is studied by potentiometric titration. An increase in the EtOH concentration in the mixed solvent is found to result in a higher stability of the nicotinamide complex with silver(I) ions; as the DMSO concentration increases, the complex becomes less stable. The results of the study are analyzed in terms of the solvation thermodynamic approach taking into account the electronic structure of the ligand and the solvation contributions of the fragments of the molecule.  相似文献

考察了粉煤灰对Cd2+和Ni2+的单组分吸附和双组分吸附性能。结果表明,粉煤灰可有效吸附水溶液中的Cd2+和Ni2+,去除率随pH升高而增加。吸附约60min后趋于平衡。粉煤灰对Ni2+的吸附容量高于Cd2+。单组分吸附平衡符合Freundlich模型和Redlich Peterson (R P)模型。双组分吸附时,Ni2+和Cd2+之间存在明显的竞争吸附效应;随干扰离子浓度升高,竞争吸附效应增强。不同模型拟合结果表明,双组分吸附平衡符合Freundlich竞争吸附模型。脱附实验表明,Cd2+比Ni2+易于脱附;0.1mol/L HCl、0.1mol/L HNO3 和0.05mol/L H2SO4的脱附效果接近,对Cd2+脱附率>60%,对Ni2+脱附率>35%。  相似文献

Conductance measurements are reported for nickel(II), cupper(II), silver(I) and cadmium(II), salts in acetonitrile (AN)–dimethylformamide (DMF) binary solvents containing macrocyclic ligand, 1,10-dibenzyl-1,10-diaza-18-crown-6 (DBDA18C6) at different temperatures. The changes in molar conductance caused by addition of DBDA18C6 to solutions were analyzed by non-linear least squares to give stability constants of 1:1 metal cation–DBDA18C6 complexes. The results show that the stabilities of the complexes are sensitive to solvent composition and in some cases the sequence of stabilities is changed with changing the composition of the mixed solvents. The values of thermodynamic quantities (ΔH°c and ΔS°c) for formation of DBDA18C6-Ni2+, DBDA18C6-Cu2+, DBDA18C6-Ag+ and DBDA18C6-Cd2+ complexes were obtained from temperature dependence of the stability constants and the results show that the values of ΔH°c and ΔS°c for these complexes are sensitive to the nature and composition of AN–DMF binary solutions, but they do not vary monotonically with the solvent composition.  相似文献

The sorption capacity of high-yield kraft fibers for Cd2+, Co2+, and Ni2+ increased with pH and concentration of the cations in the liquid phase. Within the concentration range for the experiments, which was less than 2 mM, the experimental results fitted the Langmuir, Freundlich, and Sips models with regression coefficient greater than 0.97. Of the three cations investigated, Ni2+ had the highest sorption affinity, followed by Cd2+ and Co2+. The effect of the hydrated radius on the sorption affinity was discussed. Thermodynamically, the sorption was spontaneous and exothermic in the temperature range 283-308 K.  相似文献

向天然纤维链上吸附性功能基制得的改性纤维不仅对金属离子的吸附容量,而且能应用于废水处理和环境保护等诸多领域。如果将大量废弃残麻接枝改性为对应吸附材料,并用于治理废水污染,则更具“双废开发,双废利用”价值。我们以信阳盛产的红麻纤维为母体,选取4-(2-吡啶偶氮)间苯二酚为功能基,在相关工作基础上,制备了4-(2-吡啶偶氮)间苯二酚基红麻纤维。同时,测试红麻纤维对Ni^2 、Cu^2 、Cd^2 的吸附性能,探讨了吸附温度、时间及介质酸度等因素对吸附的影响。  相似文献

In the present study, the competitive adsorption characteristics of binary and ternary heavy metal ions Pb2+, Cu2+, and Cd2+ on microporous titanosilicate ETS-10 were investigated in batch systems. Pure microporous titanosilicate ETS-10 was synthesized with P25 as the Ti source and characterized by the techniques of X-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission-scanning electron microscope (FESEM), nitrogen adsorption, and zeta-potential. Equilibrium and kinetic adsorption data showed that ETS-10 displays a high selectivity toward one metal in a two-component or a three-component system with an affinity order of Pb2+ > Cd2+ > Cu2+. The equilibrium behaviors of heavy metals species with stronger affinity toward ETS-10 can be described by the Langmuir equation while the adsorption kinetics of the metals can be well fitted to a pseudo-second-order (PSO) model.  相似文献

The complex formation between Zn2+, Cd2+ and Pb2+ ions with macrocyclic ligand, tetrathia12-crown-4 (12S4) was studied in dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO)–nitrobenzene binary mixtures at different temperatures using conductometric and 1H NMR methods. In all cases, 12S4 found to form 1:1 complexes with these cations. The formation constants of the resulting 1:1 complexes in different solvent mixtures were determined by computer fitting of the resulting molar conductance- and chemical shift-mole ratio data. There is an inverse relationship between the complex stability and the amount of DMSO in the solvent mixtures. The stability of the resulting M2+-12S4 complexes found to decrease in the order Pb2+ > Cd2+ > Zn2+. The values of ?H°, ?S° and ?G° for complexation reactions were evaluated from the temperature dependence of formation constants via van’t Hoff method. The obtained results revealed that, in all cases, the complexes are enthalpy stabilized, but entropy destabilized and the values of ?H° and ?S° are strongly depend on the nature of medium. There is also a linear relationship between all ΔH° and TΔS° values indicating the existence of entropy–enthalpy compensation in complexation of the three cations and ligand in the solvent systems studied.  相似文献

The reaction products of polyhexamethyleneguanidine hydrochloride with the Cu2+, Zn2+, and Ni2+ ions, which are the polyligand coordination compounds formed by polyguanidine and hydroxyl ligands, were studied using IR, UV, and ESR spectroscopy. The influence of the nature of the chelating agent on the structure of the complexes formed was revealed. Antibacterial properties of the synthesized complexes were assessed.  相似文献

Proton nuclear magnetic resonance (1H-NMR) spectroscopy was used to study the complexation reaction between Mg2+, Ca2+, Sr2+ and Ba2+ ions and 60-crown-20 in a series of binary mixtures of deuterated acetonitrile (AN), nitromethane (NM) and D2O at 27?°C. Formation constants of the 1:1 complexes were determined through computer fitting of the chemical shift/mol ratio data and found to vary in the order of Ba2+?>?Sr2+?>?Mg2+?≈?Ca2+. The influence of the solvent composition on the stability of the resulting complexes was also discussed. In all cases, the changes in the stability constants with the solvent composition were monotonic and showed a good correlation with the inherent solvation ability of the pure solvents which form the mixture.  相似文献

The quenching of the fluorescene of cationic derivatives of 6-methoxyquinoline and acridine by various heavy metal cations and hydrogen sulphide ion have been studied in detail. Stern—Volmer constants were determined and quenching was found to be exclusively dynamic, except for the hydrogen sulphide ion, which acts as both a dynamic and static quencher. The highly efficient static quenching process is interpreted in terms of nucleophilic attack of hydrogen sulphide to the 9-position of acridinium ion, thereby destroying the conjugated system of the fluorophore.  相似文献

Fe3O4/ chitosan magnetic microspheres of 50 to 80 滋m were prepared using the inverse phase emulsion dispersion and chemical crosslinking technology, and then modified with ethylenediamine for use in the adsorption of heavy metal ions. The adsorption properties of the modified Fe3O4/chitosan toward Cu2+, Cd2+ and Ni2+ were investigated. It was found that the adsorption capacities of Cu2+ and Ni2+ increased with pH, and a maximum adsorption for Cd2+ occurred at pH=3. The saturated adsorption capacities calculated by Langmuir isotherms were 54.3 mg·g-1 for Cu2+, 20.4 mg·g-1 for Cd2+, and 12.4 mg·g-1 for Ni2+, respectively. The adsorption kinetics were well described by pseudo-second-order equation models. The experimental results showed that the Fe3O4/chitosan modified with ethylenediamine presented higher adsorption selectivity for Cu2+ than for Cd2+ and Ni2+ in all studied pH ranges.  相似文献

The study was carried out on the sorption of heavy metals (Ni2+, Cu2+, Pb2+, and Cd2+) under static conditions from single- and multicomponent aqueous solutions by raw and pretreated clinoptilolite. The sorption has an ion-exchange nature and consists of three stages, i.e., the adsorption on the surface of microcrystals, the inversion stage, and the moderate adsorption in the interior of the microcrystal. The finer clinoptilolite fractions sorb higher amounts of the metals due to relative enriching by the zeolite proper and higher cleavage. The slight difference between adsorption capacity of the clinoptilolite toward lead, copper, and cadmium from single- and multicomponent solutions may testify to individual sorption centers of the zeolite for each metal. The decrease of nickel adsorption from multicomponent solutions is probably caused by the propinquity of its sorption forms to the other metals and by competition. The maximum sorption capacity toward Cd2+ is determined as 4.22 mg/g at an initial concentration of 80 mg/L and toward Pb2+, Cu2+, and Ni2+ as 27.7, 25.76, and 13.03 mg/g at 800 mg/L. The sorption results fit well to the Langmuir and the Freundlich models. The second one is better for adsorption modeling at high metal concentrations.  相似文献
