A vehicle guidance system has been developed using ultrasonic sensing. The ultrasonic technology is presented in this paper with reference to how it links in with the complete system. The ultrasonic unit is based on electrostatic transducer technology and comprises a separate linear array and curved divergent transmitter which gives it an effective field of view of 60° and a range of more than 5 m. The unit has been designed primarily for use on an unmanned vehicle travelling over rough, unknown terrain. 相似文献

A compact channel spacing tunable polymeric three-dimensional (3D) comb filter has been designed and fabricated. This comb filter is made of three waveguides laid in two different but parallel layers: one is in the lower layer and the other two are in the upper layer. These two waveguides in upper layer do not cross each other but instead each twice cross over the waveguide in the lower layer. At each crossing point an electrode heater is deposited on the top surface to adjust the coupling ratio between these guides. By supplying power to each heater pair, respectively, the channel spacing can be selected to be either 1.6 nm or 0.8 nm; in addition a flat-top spectral response may be obtained at the 1.6 nm channel spacing if power is supplied to both the heater pairs simultaneously. 相似文献

We present a compact confocal readout system for three-dimensional optical memories that uses the thresholding property of a semiconductor laser for feedback light. The system has higher axial resolution than a conventional confocal system with a pinhole. We demonstrate readout results for data recorded in two recording layers with the developed system. 相似文献

A portable 3D laser scanning system has been designed and built for robot vision. By tilting the charge coupled device (CCD) plane of portable 3D scanning system according to the Scheimpflug condition, the depth-of-view is successfully extended from less than 40 to 100 mm. Based on the tilted camera model, the traditional two-step camera calibration method is modified by introducing the angle factor. Meanwhile, a novel segmental calibration approach, i.e., dividing the whole work range into two parts and calibrating, respectively, with corresponding system parameters, is proposed to effectively improve the measurement accuracy of the large depth-of-view 3D laser scanner. In the process of 3D reconstruction, different calibration parameters are used to transform the 2D coordinates into 3D coordinates according to the different positions of the image in the CCD plane, and the measurement accuracy of is obtained experimentally. Finally, the experiment of scanning a lamina by the large depth-of-view portable 3D laser scanner used by an industrial robot IRB 4400 is also employed to demonstrate the effectiveness and high measurement accuracy of our scanning system. 相似文献

We present a compact holographic interferometer that uses a photorefractive crystal of the sillenite family as a holographic
recording medium. Its development is based on a previous prototype that showed lack of flexibility and portability. We briefly
discuss the main improvements leading to a compact device. Applications of this instrument in various metrological problems
are shown, among which are two that were not already considered using holography, namely measurement of a thermal expansion
coefficient and detection of fingerprints.

设计了一款双视场电视摄像机,小视场用于对目标的跟踪,大视场用于捕获和观察目标,两视场光学系统的传递函数MTF在50 lp/mm频率处均大于0.6,点列斑直径均小于像元尺寸5.5 μm,畸变均小于0.1%。两视场共用一个面阵CCD成像器件,通过分光棱镜分光。由于在该光学系统中分光棱镜表面反射会产生杂散光,形成鬼像。因此,利用LightTools软件对系统进行了杂散光的仿真分析。分析结果表明:大视场的半视场角在5.7°~7.6°之间和小视场的半视场角在2.6°~3.5°之间的入射光线被分光棱镜下表面反射后,以及小视场的半视场角在-2.7°~-3.5°之间的入射光线被分光棱镜后表面反射后, 变成杂散光,聚焦到像面, 形成鬼像,采用在分光棱镜后方设置消杂光光栏的方法来抑制杂散光。验证结果表明,仿真分析准确,提出的消杂光措施有效。 相似文献

Based on the consideration of easy achievement in modern sensors, this paper further exploits the possibility of the recovery of high-speed video (HSV) by a single flutter shutter camera. Taking into account different degrees of smoothness along the spatial and temporal dimensions of HSV, this paper proposes to use a three-dimensional hyperbolic wavelet basis based on Kronecker product to jointly model the spatial and temporal redundancy of HSV. Besides, we incorporate the total variation of temporal correlations in HSV as a prior knowledge to further enhance our reconstruction quality. We recover the underlying HSV frames from the observed low-speed coded video by solving a convex minimization problem. The experimental results on simulated and real-world videos both demonstrate the validity of the proposed method. 相似文献

The plenoptic camera is a single lens stereo camera which can retrieve the direction of light rays while detecting their intensity distribution. In this paper, to reveal more truths of plenoptic camera imaging, we present the wavefront analysis for the plenoptic camera imaging from the angle of physical optics but not from the ray tracing model of geometric optics.Specifically, the wavefront imaging model of a plenoptic camera is analyzed and simulated by scalar diffraction theory and the depth estimation is redescribed based on physical optics. We simulate a set of raw plenoptic images of an object scene, thereby validating the analysis and derivations and the difference between the imaging analysis methods based on geometric optics and physical optics are also shown in simulations. 相似文献

Broglie relation, the compactification must be regarded as dynamical and local. The theory, whose foundamental set-up is presented
in this paper, turns out to be consistent with special relativity and in particular respects causality. The non trivial classical
dynamics of these periodic fields show remarkable overlaps with ordinary quantum field theory. This can be interpreted as

The presented one-capacitor pinch driver, designed as a compact coaxial structure (including spark-gap and discharge section) consistent with the capacitor output, generates a current of 200 kA with 700 ns quarter-period, suitable for studying the optimization of Z-pinch radiative characteristics. We describe an optical bench in which we lock the relative frequencies or phases of a set of three lasers in order to use them in a cold atom interferometry experiment. As a new feature, the same two lasers serve alternately to cool atoms and to realize the atomic interferometer. This requires a fast change of the optical frequencies over a few GHz. The number of required independent laser sources is then only three, which enables the construction of the whole laser system on a single transportable optical bench. The characteristics of a magneto-optical trap (MOT) using small-diameter cooling laser beams are considered. Trapping and cooling of Rb atoms from the surrounding gas of warm atoms takes place in the trap. A compact (140 μm) and stable atomic cloud is obtained with a density of 7 × 1010 cm?3, which is three orders of magnitude higher than the density of the surrounding gas. 相似文献
