The purpose of this paper is to present the results of the comprehensive study of the phase equilibriums liquid-solid and liquid-vapour in binary and ternary systems, formed by uranium hexafluoride, bromine trifluoride and iodine pentafluoride.Investigation of the phase equilibriums in condensed systems is done by methods of differential thermoanalysis and visual polythermal analysis. All systems belong to simple eutectics; formation of the compounds is not detected. For all systems under investigation diagrams of the phase equilibrium liquid-solid are plotted.Phase equilibriums liquid-vapour in studied systems were studied by statistical method. All systems are non-aseotropic. The article presents diagrams of the phase equilibrium liquid-vapour in binary systems, pressure of the saturated vapour dependences on liquid composition, surface of the boiling liquid and lines of the constant content of uranium hexafluoride and iodine pentafluoride in vapour phase of the ternary system UF6-BrF3-IF5.  相似文献

Summary The ground state structures and bond energies have been obtained for the triatomic MHX systems where M is the entire sequence of second row transition metal atoms and X is a halide. The most interesting results of this study appear when these systems are compared to the triatomic MH2 and MX2 systems. It turns out that the structure of the MHX systems are quite similar to the corresponding MH2 systems in general. Most of the MHX systems to the right thus have bent low-spin ground states, indicating large covalent contributions to the bonding. RuHX is a special case and has a high-spin linear ground state. For the systems to the left ionicity dominates the bonding. An important result, with implications for halide ligand effects on carbonyl and olefin insertion into M-H and M-R bonds, is that the M-H bonds for the systems to the right have a different character and are significantly weaker for the MHX than for the MH2 systems. A similar effect is noted when the M-Cl bond strengths of MCl2 are compared to the ones in MHCl. Both these effects can be explained by a more cationic metal with mores 0-state character when halide ligands are present.  相似文献

Superposition of significant electron structures is used to estimate the mesomerism stabilization of polycyclic benzenoid systems by consideration of the number ofKekulé structures and of benzenoid interactions between them. General formulae and stability rules are given for many classes of cata and pericondensed molecules. The decoupling of large benzenoid systems into isolated subsystems is described. Three distinct types of polymeric benzenoid systems exist: unstable systems with vanishing mesomerism energy per monomeric umit, and stable systems with nonvanishing mesomerism energy, which are or are not decoupled into isolated subsystems.

利用阴阳离子表面活性剂复配技术,在克拉玛依油田实际油水体系中获得了超低界面张力.通过添加非离子保护剂的第三组分,阴阳离子表面活性剂混合体系在克拉玛依油田回注水体系中的溶解度大大提高.确定了相关体系能够获得超低界面张力的表面活性剂的浓度和混合的比例范围,在克拉玛依油田的多个实际油水体系中获得了具有较大复配比例和较低表面活性剂浓度的实际配方,其中部分体系油水界面张力可接近10-4mN·m-1.同时,这类阴阳离子表面活性剂混合体系具有很好的抗吸附能力,在石英砂吸附72 h后体系依然呈现优良的超低界面张力.  相似文献

The following paper covers a comparison of two new systems to traditional TEVA® resin systems for the analytical separation of actinides by immobilized liquid–liquid extraction using Aliquat-336. The new systems are using expanded polytetrafluroethane (ePTFE) membrane or polyacrylonitrile (PAN) fibers as the solid support. The systems are compared in two ways. First in how much Aliquat-336 they contain with the Vs, ratio of volume of Aliquat-336 to volume of polymeric support, being 0.158, 0.483, and 0.590 for the TEVA® resin, PAN fibers, and the ePTFE systems, respectively. The second comparison is in their performance capacity of extraction of uranyl chloride anion complex. The fiber and resins systems show similar capacities, and the membrane system being an order of magnitude less than the other systems. A cost comparison demonstrates the savings advantages of using a fiber based support compared with resin and membrane support systems.  相似文献

Summary Analytical chemical methods as systems produce chemical information about the material to be analyzed. Analytical chemical systems as semiosis consist of analytical signal production and analytical chemical signal interpretation and produce chemical information by inference in an indirect way through analytical information. From the logical point of view the chemical information produced by analytical chemical systems is only credible. Generalizing the results the idea of diagnostic systems can be introduced and the analytical chemical methods as systems are a special type of diagnostic systems.

The Cox-Merz empirical relationship between the linear (oscillatory) and nonlinear (steady-state) viscosities has been shown to be valid for many polymeric systems. Here, we present an equivalent expression to relate the linear (G) and nonlinear (N 1) elastic properties of viscoelastic systems. Like the Cox-Merz relationship, it uses a combination of elastic and viscous parameters. The modified form of the storage modulus is then equivalent to the Cox-Merz complex viscosity. It can be used to correlate with (half) the normal force at numerically equal circular frequency and shear rate, respectively.This new expression and the Cox-Merz rule are tested for a range of polymeric and colloidal systems. It is found that both expression work for the polymeric systems considered, but fail for the colloidal systems. In the latter, the steady state values of viscosity and elasticity are consistently low, and replacing them by the complex viscosity and our new elastic expression only makes matters worse.For polymer systems, we suggest this is a general but not universal observation, since we are aware of exceptions to the rule that polymeric systems obey the Cox-Merz rule for viscosity and our rule for elasticity. For colloidal systems we find that neither rule is obeyed for any of our systems.  相似文献

Today the greatest hindrances to couple the continuous FI system to discrete ETAAS operations have been overcome as demonstrated by the great number of papers published in the last few years. This paper reviews 109 references to the development and expansion of the FI-ETAAS methodology. The selected FI-ETAAS systems, namely: on-line column preconcentration and separation systems; on-line knotted reactor preconcentration systems; on-line aerosol deposition systems; flow-injection for in situ trapping of volatile compounds and miscellaneous on-line systems.  相似文献

There have been major advances in the development of edible colloidal delivery systems for hydrophobic bioactives in recent years. However, there are still many challenges associated with the development of effective delivery systems for hydrophilic bioactives. This review highlights the major challenges associated with developing colloidal delivery systems for hydrophilic bioactive components that can be utilized in foods, pharmaceuticals, and other products intended for oral ingestion. Special emphasis is given to the fundamental physicochemical phenomena associated with encapsulation, stabilization, and release of these bioactive components, such as solubility, partitioning, barriers, and mass transport processes. Delivery systems suitable for encapsulating hydrophilic bioactive components are then reviewed, including liposomes, multiple emulsions, solid fat particles, multiple emulsions, biopolymer particles, cubosomes, and biologically-derived systems. The advantages and limitations of each of these delivery systems are highlighted. This information should facilitate the rational selection of the most appropriate colloidal delivery systems for particular applications in the food and other industries.  相似文献

In-situ 29Si liquid-state nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) was used to investigate the ammonia catalyzed hydrolysis and condensation of the mixed systems of tetraethoxysilane (TEOS) and dimethyldiethoxysilane (DDS) dissolved in methanol. With ammonia catalysis, the hydrolysis reaction orders for TEOS and DDS in the mixed systems remained first order, which is similar to that observed for their corresponding single silane component precursor systems. The hydrolysis rate constant for TEOS in the mixed systems was larger than that of TEOS in the single silane component precursor systems. Meanwhile, the hydrolysis rate constants of DDS in the mixed precursor systems were smaller than those of DDS in the single silane component precursor systems. The hydrolysis and condensation kinetics showed more compatible hydrolysis-condensation relative rates between TEOS and DDS, which remarkably affected the final microstructure of the resulting silica particles. Small angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) experiments showed a typical double fractal structure in the particulate networks.  相似文献

A comparison of the structures and functions of synthetic and biological supramolecular systems, consideration of the principles of matter sophistication during the evolution, and analysis of the energy profile of the basic hierarchical elements in the structural organization of matter allowed one to conclude that supramolecular systems have their own niche in the above hierarchy and precede biological systems, which are a community of functionally differentiated supramolecular systems formed from biomolecules. Therefore, supramolecular systems can be regarded as a sort of a “bridge” between nonliving and living matter. Other issues of matter evolution were considered.  相似文献

The use of flow-injection systems for biotechnology assays is attrctive but the reduced sensitivity of such systems over their manual descrete-sample counterparts has limited their use. Model systems are studied to develop the concepts needed for the design of high-sensitivity flow-injection systems for the determination of macromolecules. Both open- and packed-tube systems were examined. Initial hydrodynamic studies were done with dye; then selected designs were tested for protein determinations based on a bromocresol green assay. The packed-bed systems provided better mixing, but dispersion was about the same as that of the open-tube systems and back-pressures were much higher. This work indicates that combinations of narrow (i.d. ? 0.5 mm) and short (? 10 cm) open tubes, small-volume flow cells (8 μl) and slow flow rates (? 0.05 ml min-1) give better sensitivity.  相似文献

The purpose of the work is physicochemical characterization of nimesulide (NI) and meloxicam (ME)–hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin (HP-β-CD) binary systems both in solution and solid states and to improve the pharmaceutical properties of NI and ME via inclusion complexation with HP-β-CD. Binary systems of NI and ME with HP-β-CD have been characterized both in solution and solid state by different physicochemical methods. Three types of drug–HP-β-CD binary systems, namely physical mixtures (PM), kneaded systems (KS) and co evaporated systems (CS) in 1:1 and 1:2 molar ratios (1:1 and 1:2 M) were prepared. Phase solubility and 1H-NMR spectroscopic studies in solution state revealed 1:1 M complexation of NI and ME with HP-β-CD. A partial inclusion of NI with HP-β-CD at both molar ratios of kneaded and co evaporated systems and a true inclusion of ME with HP-β-CD at both molar ratios of co evaporated systems in solid state was confirmed by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), powder X-ray diffractometry (powder X-RD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) studies. Dissolution properties of NI and ME–HP-β-CD binary systems were superior when compared to corresponding pure drugs. This contribution to the understanding of non-linear optical (NLO) properties of organic systems is concentrated on donor–acceptor aromatic systems such as [2]catenanes. We report accurate ab initio quantum chemical calculations of the first static hyperpolarizability (β) of donor–acceptor aromatic systems containing naphthalene and anthracene as electron donors and pyromellitimide and naphthadiimide as electron acceptors. We investigate the NLO effect when the donor acceptor units are not connected through a bridge. In this kind of system the electronic communication between donor and acceptor is solely due to through space charge transfer mechanism. Geometries of all molecular systems were optimised at the Hartree–Fock level with STO-3G minimal basis set and with the 3-21G split valence basis and finally with 6-31G basis set using GAUSSIAN 98W. The first static hyperpolarizabilities of these molecular systems were calculated using Hartree–Fock level using 6-31G basis set using GAUSSIAN 98W. To understand the possibility of developing these systems as NLO materials we have also calculated the linear and nonlinear optical properties of bridged donor–acceptor systems. The study suggested that these unconnected donor–acceptor systems equivalent to some [2]catenanes reported in literature in general have little influence on the first static hyperpolarizability, however, the linked macro cyclic systems may have potential applications in the development of non-linear optical materials.  相似文献

The applications of EPR to heterogeneous systems are illustrated by examples which include the determination of oxidation state, the ion migration and the formation of ion pairs in solid-solid systems; the study of surface redox properties via radical formation in solid-liquid systems; the determination of the surface crystal field, the nature of the catalytic site and its coordination number and the mobility of the adsorbed species in solid-gas systems; the determination of the adsorption site in oxygen carriers in liquid-liquid systems and liquid-gas systems. The example of the coordination chemistry of paramagneticions in zeolites will be used to illustrate the case of the more complex solidliquid-gas system.  相似文献

Epoxy-clay nanocomposites, HDTMA-BDGE, HDTMA-BPDG, HDTMA-BBDG, HDTMA-TGDDM and HDTPP-BDGE were synthesized using hexadecylammonium clay and hexadecylphosphonium clay, respectively. The Montmorillonite (MMT) clay was modified with quaternary ammonium salt and with triphenylphosphonium salt which was intercalated into the interlayer region of MMT-Clay. The epoxy-clay systems were cured by using diaminodiphenylsulphone as a curing agent. The X-ray diffraction patterns obtained for the systems confirmed the nanodispersion of MMT-Clay in the epoxy networks. The ammonium clay-modified systems displayed appreciable mechanical and glass-transition temperature properties while, the phosphonium clay-modified system exhibited highest thermal resistance properties compared with unmodified epoxy systems. The Tg decrease observed in all the clay-modified epoxy systems, may be compromised with their advantage of requiring the filler content very low (5wt%), when compared to the conventional epoxy systems whose filler quantity is normally required from 25 to 30 wt%.  相似文献

Scanning calorimetric methods permit determination of heat capacities at high temperatures up to 1600°C. For disk systems with power compensation application limits are in order of 700°C, and for cylindrical systems with electrical calibration up to 1000°C. For the high temperature range above 1000°C DSC plates and a cylindrical calorimetric systems based on the CALVET principle ('MULTI HTC’) are known. For cylindrical calorimetric systems the precision of the Cp data is between 2 and 5% even at high temperatures without any requirements on the kind and shape of samples. These results are better than data provided by DSC plate systems. This revised version was published online in July 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.  相似文献

An experimental and mathematical method is developed for the microbial systems analysis of polyaromatic hydrocarbon (PAH)-degrading mixed cultures in PAH-contaminated “town gas” soil systems. Frequency response is the primary experimental and data analysis tool used to probe the structure of these complicated systems. The objective is to provide a fundamental protocol for evaluating the performance of specific mixed microbial cultures on specific soil systems by elucidating the salient system variables and their interactions. Two well-described reactor systems, a constant volume stirred tank reactor (CSTR) and a plug flow differential volume reactor, are used in order to remove performance effects that are related to reactor type as opposed to system structure. These two reactor systems are well-defined systems that can be described mathematically and represent the two extremes of one potentially important system variable, macroscopic mass transfer. The experimental and mathematical structure of the protocol is described, experimental data is presented, and data analysis is demonstrated for the stripping, sorption, and biodegradation of napththalene.  相似文献

We propose a new Helmholtz energy of mixing equation following the original Flory–Huggins (F–H) closed-packed lattice model. Also, to overcome F–H mean-field approximation, we introduce new universal constants to consider chain length dependence of polymer in solvent and consider specific interactions to describe strongly interacting polymer systems. Our proposed model successfully describes liquid–liquid equilibria (LLE) for binary polymer–solvent systems using identical interaction parameters which do not depend on the polymer molecular weight. We also describe vapor–liquid equilibria (VLE) for polymer/solvent systems and swelling equilibria of thermosensitive hydrogel systems using the same energy parameters obtained from LLE calculations.  相似文献
