Densities and speeds of sound of the cyclopentane with 2-propanol, 1-butanol and 2-butanol are measured over the whole composition range at different temperatures in the range 288.15–308.15 K and atmospheric pressure using Anton Paar DSA 5000 densimeter. The experimental densities and speeds of sound have been used to calculate excess molar volumes, excess molar isentropic compressibilities and excess intermolecular free length. The partial molar volumes and apparent molar volumes at infinite dilution have also been calculated. The mixing quantities like (∂V mE/∂T)P and (∂H mE/∂P)T have been calculated at T = 298.15 K and these values are compared with the values calculated from Flory’s theory at equimolar composition.  相似文献

The densities, viscosities, and ultrasonic velocities of the binary mixture of toluene and mesitylene with anisaldehyde have been measured at 303.15, 308.15, 313.15, and 318.15 K for the entire range of mole fraction of anisaldehyde. From the data the excess adiabatic compressibility (β E), excess free volume (V fE), excess internal pressure (π E), excess enthalpy (H E), and excess Gibb’s free energy of activation of flow (G* E) for the binary mixture over the additive values were calculated. In light of these parameters molecular interactions involved between the component liquids have been discussed.  相似文献

The isothermal excess molar enthalpies for binary mixtures of different amines with water were measured with a C-80 Setaram calorimeter. The experimental results indicate that the excess molar enthalpy is related to the molecular structure. The experimental excess molar enthalpies were satisfactorily fitted with the Redlich–Kister equation. They were also used to test the suitability of the NRTL model, and the deviations are a little larger than the R–K equation.  相似文献

Densities at T = (293.15, 298.15, 303.15, 308.15, and 313.15) K in the binary liquid mixtures of polyethylene glycol 300 with 2-ethoxyethanol, 2-(2-ethoxyethoxy)ethanol, or 2-{2-(2-ethoxyethoxy)ethoxy}ethanol have been measured over the entire range of mixture compositions. These data have been used to compute the excess molar volumes. The excess molar volumes are negative over the entire range of composition for all studied mixtures. The results are discussed in terms of intermolecular interactions in the bulk binary mixtures.  相似文献

Vapour pressures of butanenitrile +2-methyl-1-propanol or +2-methyl-2-propanol at several temperatures between 278.15 and 323.15 K were measured by a static method. Excess molar enthalpies and volumes were also measured at T = 298.15 K. Reduction of the vapour pressures to obtain activity coefficients and excess molar Gibbs free energies was carried out by fitting the vapour pressure data to the Redlich-Kister correlation according to Barker's method. Azeotropic mixtures with a minimum boiling temperature were observed over the whole temperature range, except for 2-methyl-2-propanol at T = 323.15 K.  相似文献

The values estimated from various mixing rules for the ultrasonic velocity, viscosity and refractive index have been compared with the respective values measured earlier at 293, 303, and 313?K over the entire mole fraction range of two binary mixtures of tetrahydrofuran (THF) with 1-propanol (1-p) and 2-propanol (2-p). There is an excellent agreement between the experimental values of ultrasonic velocity and of refractive index with the respective values obtained from the mixing rules. The mixing rules for viscosity provide values agreeing broadly with those obtained from experimental measurements. The relative merits and interrelations of these mixing rules are discussed.  相似文献

Viscosities of three non-electrolyte binary mixtures have been determined at different temperatures over the complete concentration range. Excess molar viscosities and excess molar energies of activation for viscous flow for n-butylamine + dichloromethane, n-butylamine + chloroform and n-butylamine + carbon tetrachloride systems at 20°C, 25°C, 30°C and 35°C were calculated. Thermodynamic effect parameters of activation were also calculated. Kinetics of acylation of piperidine and morpholine with 4-nitro- and 2,6-dinitrophenyl benzoates was studied in binary systems water-2-propanol and water-dioxane. Structural and energy characteristics of solvate complexes of morpholine and piperidine with the components of the mixed solvents were calculated. The excess molar enthalpies of binary solvent mixtures of 1-butanol and 2-methyl-2-propanol with aniline, N-methylaniline, and N,N-dimethylaniline were measured with a flow microcalorimeter at 40°C. The excess enthalpies are positive for all the systems, and smaller for the mixtures of 1-butanol than the corresponding mixtures of 2-methyl-2-propanol. With respect to the anilines, the values increase in the order aniline < N-methylaniline < N,N-dimethylaniline.  相似文献

Excess molar enthalpies for the binary systems: (ethyl 1,1-dimethylethyl ether + heptane); (ethyl 1,1-dimethylethyl ether + cyclohexane); (ethyl 1,1-dimethylethyl ether + toluene); (cyclohexane + toluene), and (toluene + heptane) have been measured at T = (298.15 and 313.15) K using a new isothermal flow calorimeter developed in the laboratory. The technique was previously checked by measuring test systems. The experimental results have been correlated with the Redlich–Kister polynomial equation.
