光纤菲佐应变传感器的波分频分复用方法   总被引:9,自引:1,他引:8

将波分复用技术与空间频率复用技术相结合,提出了新的光纤菲佐应变传感器波分频分复用方法:在粗波分复用(CWDM)的不同波段实现具有不同腔长的光纤菲佐应变传感器的空间频率复用。描述了基于该方法的光纤菲佐应变传感器复用系统的结构、原理及实验结果,讨论了复用技术中可能产生的串扰的影响及其解决方法。实验结果表明,该方法大大提高了光纤菲佐应变传感器的复用能力,可复用40个以上的菲佐应变传感器,且其应变测量精度达±5με,可满足实际应用的要求。  相似文献

Previous researchers have simulated strain transfer and spectrum of normal fiber Bragg grating (FBG) sensors with a polymer coating bonded on the structure. They only considered the shear stress in a polymer coating for the simulation. However, for metal-coated FBG sensors, not only shear stress but also axial stress in the metal coating should be reflected into the calculation because its axial stiffness is no longer negligible. Thus, the author investigated the strain transfer and reflected spectra of metal-coated FBG sensors by considering both shear stress and axial stress. The strain transfer analysis involved evaluating the strain profiles along the sensor by plotting an analytical solution, and validating the evaluated profiles with the results obtained by a finite element analysis (FEA). The solution was also verified by the experiments that used aluminum-coated FBG sensors bonded on a carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) composite specimen. A transfer-matrix (T-matrix) formulation and coupled mode theory were used to simulate the reflected spectra of metal-coated FBG sensors for the evaluated strain profile. In addition, the effect of mechanical and geometric parameters of the sensor was examined. The findings revealed that the strain transfer characteristics and reflected spectra deteriorated with increases in the thickness and Young's modulus of the metal coating due to the consideration of axial stress. It is the opposite results for the normal FBG sensor with a polymer coating. Furthermore, the results also indicated that the decrease in bonding thickness resulted in improved strain transfer and signal characteristics. Moreover, a bonding length of 14 mm was suitable in suppressing an asymmetric shape of the reflected spectrum and in achieving an accurate measurement. The results of the parametric study are expected to contribute to improve the measurement accuracy of metal-coated FBG sensors in actual applications. The analytical methodology can be usefully employed in the design of a metal-coated FBG sensor system.  相似文献

The classic experimental modal analysis (EMA) is a well-known procedure for determining the modal parameters. The less frequently used strain EMA is based on a response measurement using strain sensors. The results of a strain EMA are the modal parameters, where in addition to the displacement mode shapes the strain mode shapes are also identified. The strain EMA can be used for an experimental investigation of a stress–strain distribution without the need to build a dynamical model. It can also be used to determine the modal parameters when, during modal testing, a motion sensor cannot be used and so a strain sensor is used instead. The displacement and strain mode shapes that are determined with the strain EMA are not mass normalized (scaled with respect to the orthogonality properties of the mass-normalized modal matrix), and therefore some dynamical properties of the system cannot be obtained. The mass normalization can be made with the classic EMA, which requires the use of a motion sensor. In this research a new approach to the mass normalization in the strain EMA, without using a motion sensor, is presented. It is based on the recently introduced mass-change structural modification method, which is used for the mass normalization in an operational modal analysis. This method was modified in such a way that it can be used for the mass normalization in the strain EMA. The mass-normalized displacement and strain mode shapes were obtained using a combination of the proposed approach and the strain EMA. 光纤菲佐传感器频分复用网络解调方法研究   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
为了减小光纤菲佐传感器间的串扰,提高传感器网络的复用能力,提出了基于Pisarenko正弦波恢复法的光纤菲佐应变传感器频分复用网络光谱解调方案。在多光束干涉原理的基础上,建立了基于Pisarenko正弦波恢复方法的传感器频分复用解调模型,并对2个光纤菲佐传感器的串扰进行了实验研究。快速傅里叶变换能够达到应变精度好于±10με的传感器间最小腔长差约为500μm,而该方法可以把最小腔长差缩短至100μm左右。这意味着系统的复用能力提高了大约5倍。因此,该方法是一种串扰小、复用能力强的解调方法,在大容量准分布式传感网络中具有极大的潜在应用价值。  相似文献

Whispering gallery mode (WGM) based micro-optical sensors are known to have higher sensitivity than fiber Bragg grating, Fabry–Perot, and microbend sensors. WGM sensors are created by optical coupling of a dielectric microparticle with an optical fiber. The combination of a microparticle and an optical-fiber to create the sensor requires encapsulating them in a suitable material so that the sensor can be used in practical applications. The sensitivity of the encapsulated sensors needs to be calibrated before they can be used. The present study conducts a parametric study to understand the effect of variables such as particle size and particle–fiber distance on the sensitivity of the encapsulated WGM sensors. Solid and hollow microparticle based sensors are studied. In the case of hollow particles, their wall thickness effects are also characterized. Results show that despite small strain, change in the index of refraction of the particle material due to the applied force contributes significantly in determining the sensitivity of these sensors.  相似文献

A technique for compensation of temperature effects in fiber grating sensors is reported. For strain sensors and other sensors related to strain such as electromagnetic sensors, a novel structure is designed, which uses two fiber Bragg gratings (FBGs) as strain differential sensor and has temperature effects cancelled. Using this technique, the stress sensitivity has been amplified and gets up to 0.226 nm/N, the total variation in wavelength difference within the range of 3-45 ℃ is 0.03 nm, 1/14 of the uncompensated FBG.The structure can be used in the temperature-insensitive static strain measurement and minor-vibration measurement.  相似文献

使用银纳米线作为材料制备柔性叉指电极,用还原氧化石墨烯(reduced graphene oxide, rGO)作为气体敏感材料制备出柔性气体传感器,并研究其对二氧化氮气体的响应特性以及柔韧性能.实验结果表明,制备的以银纳米线作为电极的r GO气体传感器可以实现室温下对浓度为5-50 ppm (1 ppm=10^–6)的NO2气体的检测,对50 ppm的NO2的响应能够达到1.19,传感器的重复性较好,恢复率能够保持在76%以上,传感器的灵敏度是0.00281 ppm^-1,对浓度为5 ppm的NO2气体的响应时间是990 s,恢复时间是1566 s.此外,传感器在0°-45°的弯曲角度下仍表现出优异的电学特性与气体传感性能,所制备的器件具有相对稳定的导电性和较好的弯曲耐受性.  相似文献

从耦合模理论出发,分析了长周期光纤光栅的温度和应变灵敏度.结果表明,长周期光纤光栅的温度和应变灵敏度不仅与光栅周期和纤芯参数有关,还强烈依赖于包层参数.通过选择适当的参数,可以制成对温度(或应变)不敏感的应变(或温度)长周期光纤光栅传感器,从而可以解决光纤光栅传感器的温度和应变交叉敏感问题.同时,利用基模与不同包层模耦合时温度和应变灵敏度的不同,可以用一根长周期光纤光栅传感器同时测量温度和应变.  相似文献

A demodulation algorithm for spatial-frequency-division-multiplexed fiber-optic Fizeau strain sensor networks with a large number of sensors is proposed to effectively reduce the cross talk between any two adjacent sensors and hence substantially enhance the multiplexing capability of the network, which is based on the Pisarenko algorithm. The cross talk between two fiber-optic Fizeau sensors is investigated experimentally. The experimental results show that a strain accuracy of better than +/-10 micro permittivity can be achieved even when the cavity length difference is approximately 100 microm. It was demonstrated that the multiplexing capability of the spatial-frequency-division-multiplexed fiber-optic Fizeau sensor network can be approximately 5 times greater than that of the conventional fast-Fourier-transform algorithm, and this can lead to achievement of a sensing network with a multiplexing capability of as many as 1000 Fizeau sensors.  相似文献

对适用于机敏结构的表面等离子体波光纤传感器进行了初步的研究。将这种光纤传感器埋入复合材料结构就构成了所谓机敏结构。这种机敏结构既可进行复合材料的固化监测,又可进行应变检测。有利于传感器数量的减少和布置的简化,减少了传感元件的埋入对结构本身性能的影响。可以充分发挥光纤传感器对结构进行全过程监测的优点,具有广泛的应用前景。  相似文献

A light intensity modulation fiber-optic sensor, which can measure curvature directly, has been developed. It is suitable for the measurement of thin, embedded or highly flexible structures. An experimental analysis on the static and dynamic characteristics of sensor has been undertaken. The results show that the output voltage has polarity and a good linear relationship with curvature when the curvature radius is larger than 60 mm. The mathematical model relating the relative output loss, parameters of sensitive zone’s configuration (depth, number, height and half angle of tooth) and bending radius is described analytically based on the geometric optics. Curvature fiber-optic sensors can be used to build a quasi-distributed fiber-optic sensor system, which can measure curvature and torsion angle simultaneously.  相似文献

研究了光纤Bragg光栅封装工艺,提出并实现了两种封装光纤Bragg光栅传感器:工字型钢管封装光纤Bragg光栅应变传感器及钢管封装光纤Bragg温度传感器。研究了传感器的埋设工艺,采用金属丝固定法、钢管抽出法两种方法进行了埋设。将它们埋入到钢筋混凝土梁中,实现对混凝土的拉、压应变及温度的测量。结果显示,在试验梁弹性阶段,可以较为准确的监测混凝土应变。  相似文献

从动势能转换与守恒原理出发,在微正则(NVE)系综下,采用COMPASS力场对石墨烯纳米带及其应变传感器的谐振特性进行了分子动力学模拟.研究发现,非线性响应主导了石墨烯纳米带的动态行为,而其超高的基波频率则与长度和边界条件密切相关;单轴拉伸应变对石墨烯纳米带基波频率的影响显著且强烈依赖于边界条件,四边固支型应变石墨烯纳米带具有更高的频移,其灵敏度可高达7800 Hz/nanostrain,远大于相同长度碳纳米管应变传感器的灵敏度;石墨烯纳米带及其应变传感器的谐振特性均与手性无关.本文所得结果表明,由于超低 关键词: 石墨烯纳米带 分子动力学 应变 基波频率  相似文献

In this work, we describe a fiber Bragg grating (FBG) sensing system using two wavelength-matched FBG sensors for static and dynamic strain measurement. A cascaded long-period fiber grating (CLPG)-based demodulation technique has been used to interrogate the two wavelength-matched FBG sensors. Experimental results of static strain measurement show that the proposed system has a strain resolution of 1 με. This system has also been used for dynamic strain measurement. An eddy current displacement meter-based system has been used as a comparison measurement. Experimental results of dynamic strain measurement have proved that the FBG sensing system has a good performance in the measurement of dynamic strain. The results of static and dynamic strain measurement indicate that the sensing system using two wavelength-matched FBG sensors is superior to the single FBG sensor system.  相似文献

A novel fiber Bragg grating (FBG) sensor system for measurement of strain and temperature is proposed in this paper. The proposed sensor technique is based on time-division multiplexing (TDM). A semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA), connected in a ring cavity, is used to serve as a gain medium and switch. The SOA is driven by a pulse generator, which operates the SOA at different periods of time to select reflected pulses from a particular sensor. The FBG sensors have identical center wavelengths and can be deployed along the same fiber. This technique relieves the spectral bandwidth issue and permits the interrogation of up to 100 FBGs along a fiber, if the reflectivity of the individual sensors is sufficiently low to avoid shadowing effects. This system is particularly suitable for the application in structural health monitoring (SHM) where large numbers of sensors are required in wide measurement ranges.  相似文献

In this paper, we review various types of graphene-based strain sensors. Graphene is a monolayer of carbon atoms, which exhibits prominent electrical and mechanical properties and can be a good candidate in compact strain sensor applications. However, a perfect graphene is robust and has a low piezoresistive sensitivity. So scientists have been driven to increase the sensitivity using different kinds of methods since the first graphene-based strain sensor was reported. We give a comprehensive review of graphene-based strain sensors with different structures and mechanisms. It is obvious that graphene offers some advantages and has potential for the strain sensor application in the near future.  相似文献

设计了一种基于表面等离子体共振原理,使用空芯光纤作为光波导、外表面镀金属膜的光学材料圆柱体作为探头的新型折射率传感器。通过建立光学模型进行分析,在理论上推导出了这种传感器的传输光谱损耗公式,并针对该传感器在不同的光纤长度、探头材料、检测物质折射率等参数设置下的检测性能进行了分析,获得了各种参数对其性能的影响。由于该传感器可针对不同折射率的检测物质灵活地更换合适探头材料,相对于传统的表面等离子体共振光纤传感器,在易用性和性价比等方面具有更好的应用价值。  相似文献

A temperature-insensitive strain sensor based on Four-Wave Mixing (FWM) using two Raman fiber Bragg grating (FBG) lasers with cooperative Rayleigh scattering is proposed. Two FBG were used to form two linear cavities laser sensors based on Raman amplification combined with cooperative Rayleigh scattering. Due to the very low dispersion coefficient of the fiber, it is possible to obtain the FWM using the two lasers. This configuration allows the operation as a temperature-insensitive strain sensor where both sensors have the same sensitivity to temperature but only one of the FBG laser is sensitive to strain. The difference between the wavelengths of the signal sensor and the converted signal presents a strain coefficient sensitivity of 2?pm/??? with insensitivity to temperature. The FWM efficiency is also dependent on the applied strain, but it is temperature independent, presenting a maximum sensibility of 0.01?dB/???.  相似文献
