Let M be a 2n-dimensional almost complex manifold: we construct a local almost complex structure starting from a Nijenhuis tensor given at a point. Moreover, we determine, on a 6-manifold, the conditions ensuring that its Nijenhuis tensor induces a Lie algebra structure on the tangent space. We give a class of examples for every kind.  相似文献

We present a mathematical study of the differentiable deformations of the algebras associated with phase space. Deformations of the Lie algebra of C functions, defined by the Poisson bracket, generalize the well-known Moyal bracket. Deformations of the algebra of C functions, defined by ordinary multiplication, give rise to noncommutative, associative algebras, isomorphic to the operator algebras of quantum theory. In particular, we study deformations invariant under any Lie algebra of “distinguished observables”, thus generalizing the usual quantization scheme based on the Heisenberg algebra.  相似文献

In this paper, we give the classification of (n + 2)-dimensional metric n-Lie algebras in terms of some facts about n-Lie algebras.  相似文献

After a brief review on the basic notions and the principal results concerning the Jacobi manifolds, the relationship between homogeneous Poisson manifolds and conformal Jacobi manifolds, and also the compatible Jacobi manifolds, we give a generalization of some of these results needed for the contents of this paper. We introduce the notion of Jacobi–Nijenhuis structure and we study the relation between Jacobi–Nijenhuis manifolds and homogeneous Poisson–Nijenhuis manifolds. We present a local classification of homogeneous Poisson–Nijenhuis manifolds and we establish some local models of Jacobi–Nijenhuis manifolds.  相似文献

In this paper, we first construct an analogue of the Sugawara operators for the twisted Heisenberg-Virasoro algebra. By using these operators, we show that every integrable highest weight module over an affine Lie algebra can be viewed as a unitary representation of the twisted Heisenberg-Virasoro algebra. As a by-product of our constructions, we give the unitary representations of the twisted Heisenberg-Virasoro algebra which have the central charges appearing in [1]. Our approach to obtain these central charges is different with that of [1].  相似文献

In Gerstenhaber's classical theory of deformations, the deformation parameter commutes with the original algebra. Motivated by some non classical deformations which recently appeared for quantization of Nambu mechanics, we introduce new deformations where the parameter no longer commutes with the original algebra. We find the associated cohomology and Gerstenhaber algebra and give rigidity and integrability criterions. We show that the Weyl algebra (though rigid in classical theory) can be nontrivially deformed, in super-commutative theory, to the supersymmetry enveloping algebra   相似文献

We construct algebraic-geometric families of genus one (i.e. elliptic) current and affine Lie algebras of Krichever-Novikov type. These families deform the classical current, respectively affine Kac-Moody Lie algebras. The construction is induced by the geometric process of degenerating the elliptic curve to singular cubics. If the finite-dimensional Lie algebra defining the infinite dimensional current algebra is simple then, even if restricted to local families, the constructed families are non-equivalent to the trivial family. In particular, we show that the current algebra is geometrically not rigid, despite its formal rigidity. This shows that in the infinite dimensional Lie algebra case the relations between geometric deformations, formal deformations and Lie algebra two-cohomology are not that close as in the finite-dimensional case. The constructed families are e.g. of relevance in the global operator approach to the Wess-Zumino-Witten-Novikov models appearing in the quantization of Conformal Field Theory. The algebras are explicitly given by generators and structure equations and yield new examples of infinite dimensional algebras of current and affine Lie algebra type.  相似文献

Coupled Bose-Fermi systems play a central role in quantum mechanics and solid state physics. We give an implementation of the mathematical properties of Bose-Fermi systems using computer algebra. As an application we consider among others a one-fermion one-boson system for magnetic elastic systems and a supersymmetric Hamilton operator.  相似文献

Motivated by the work of Kupershmidt (J. Nonlin. Math. Phys. 6 (1998), 222 –245) we discuss the occurrence of left symmetry in a generalized Virasoro algebra. The multiplication rule is defined, which is necessary and sufficient for this algebra to be quasi-associative. Its link to geometry and nonlinear systems of hydrodynamic type is also recalled. Further, the criteria of skew-symmetry, derivation and Jacobi identity making this algebra into a Lie algebra are derived. The coboundary operators are defined and discussed. We deduce the hereditary operator and its generalization to the corresponding 3–ary bracket. Further, we derive the so-called ρ–compatibility equation and perform a phase-space extension. Finally, concrete relevant particular cases are investigated.  相似文献

We describe noncommutative geometric aspects of twisted deformations, in particular of the spheres of Connes and Landi and of Connes and Dubois Violette, by using the differential and integral calculus on these spaces that is covariant under the action of their corresponding quantum symmetry groups. We start from multiparametric deformations of the orthogonal groups and related planes and spheres. We show that only in the twisted limit of these multiparametric deformations the covariant calculus on the plane gives, by a quotient procedure, a meaningful calculus on the sphere. In this calculus, the external algebra has the same dimension as the classical one. We develop the Haar functional on spheres and use it to define an integral of forms. In the twisted limit (differently from the general multiparametric case), the Haar functional is a trace and we thus obtain a cycle on the algebra. Moreover, we explicitly construct the *-Hodge operator on the space of forms on the plane and then by quotient on the sphere. We apply our results to even spheres and compute the Chern–Connes pairing between the character of this cycle, i.e. a cyclic 2n-cocycle, and the instanton projector defined in math.QA/0107070.  相似文献

In the Schrödinger equation, time plays a special role as an external parameter. We show that in an enlarged system where the time variable denotes an additional degree of freedom, solutions of the Schrödinger equation give rise to weights on the enlarged algebra of observables. States in the associated GNS representation correspond to states on the original algebra composed with a completely positive unit preserving map. Application of this map to the functions of the time operator on the large system delivers the positive operator valued maps which were previously proposed by two of us as time observables. As an example we discuss the application of this formalism to the Wheeler-DeWitt theory of a scalar field on a Robertson-Walker spacetime.  相似文献

We introduce notions of open-string vertex algebra, conformal open-string vertex algebra and variants of these notions. These are open-string-theoretic, noncommutative generalizations of the notions of vertex algebra and of conformal vertex algebra. Given an open-string vertex algebra, we show that there exists a vertex algebra, which we call the meromorphic center, inside the original algebra such that the original algebra yields a module and also an intertwining operator for the meromorphic center. This result gives us a general method for constructing open-string vertex algebras. Besides obvious examples obtained from associative algebras and vertex (super)algebras, we give a nontrivial example constructed from the minimal model of central charge We establish an equivalence between the associative algebras in the braided tensor category of modules for a suitable vertex operator algebra and the grading-restricted conformal open-string vertex algebras containing a vertex operator algebra isomorphic to the given vertex operator algebra. We also give a geometric and operadic formulation of the notion of grading-restricted conformal open-string vertex algebra, we prove two isomorphism theorems, and in particular, we show that such an algebra gives a projective algebra over what we call the Swiss-cheese partial operad.Acknowledgement. We introduce a notion of noncommutative Poisson–Nijenhuis structure on the path algebra of a quiver. In particular, we focus on the case when the Poisson bracket arises from a noncommutative symplectic form. The formalism is then applied to the study of the Calogero–Moser and Gibbons–Hermsen integrable systems. In the former case, we give a new interpretation of the bihamiltonian reduction performed in Bartocci et al. (Int Math Res Not 2010:279–296, 2010. arXiv:0902.0953).  相似文献

We show that the time-dependent two-mode Fresnel operator is just the time-evolutional unitary operator governed by the Hamiltonian composed of quadratic combination of canonical operators in the way of exhibiting SU(1,1) algebra. This is an approach for obtaining the time-dependent Hamiltonian from the preassigned time evolution in classical phase space, an approach which is in contrast to Lewis-Riesenfeld's invariant operator theory of treating timedependent harmonic oscillators.  相似文献

We introduce the notions of open-closed field algebra and open-closed field algebra over a vertex operator algebra V. In the case that V satisfies certain finiteness and reductivity conditions, we show that an open-closed field algebra over V canonically gives an algebra over a -extension of Swiss-cheese partial operad. We also give a tensor-categorical formulation and constructions of open-closed field algebras over V.  相似文献

We give the operadic formulation of (weak, strong) topological vertex algebras, which are variants of topological vertex operator algebras studied recently by Lian and Zuckerman. As an application, we obtain a conceptual and geometric construction of the Batalin-Vilkovisky algebraic structure (or the Gerstenhaber algebra structure) on the cohomology of a topological vertex algebra (or of a weak topological vertex algebra) by combining this operadic formulation with a theorem of Getzler (or of Cohen) which formulates Batalin-Vilkovisky algebras (or Gerstenhaber algebras) in terms of the homology of the framed little disk operad (or of the little disk operad). The author is supported in part by NSF grant DMS-9104519  相似文献

By applying the lightlike Eisenhart lift to several known examples of low-dimensional integrable systems admitting integrals of motion of higher-order in momenta, we obtain four- and higher-dimensional Lorentzian spacetimes with irreducible higher-rank Killing tensors. Such metrics, we believe, are first examples of spacetimes admitting higher-rank Killing tensors. Included in our examples is a four-dimensional supersymmetric pp-wave spacetime, whose geodesic flow is superintegrable. The Killing tensors satisfy a non-trivial Poisson–Schouten–Nijenhuis algebra. We discuss the extension to the quantum regime.  相似文献

We generalize Poisson–Nijenhuis structures. We prove that on a manifold endowed with a Nijenhuis tensor and a Jacobi structure which are compatible, there is a hierarchy of pairwise compatible Jacobi structures. Furthermore, we study the homogeneous Poisson–Nijenhuis structures and their relations with Jacobi structures.  相似文献
