The residual symmetry of the generalized Kaup-Kupershmidt(gKK) equation is obtained from the truncated Painlevé expansion and localized to a Lie point symmetry in a prolonged system. New symmetry reduction solutions of the prolonged system are given by using the standard Lie symmetry method. Furthermore, the g KK equation is proved to integrable in the sense of owning consistent Riccati expansion and some new B¨acklund transformations are given based on this property, from which interaction solutions between soliton and periodic waves are given.  相似文献

The nonlocal symmetry for the potential Kadomtsev-Petviashvili(pKP)equation is derived by the truncated Painleve analysis. The nonlocal symmetry is localized to the Lie point symmetry by introducing the auxiliary dependent variable. Thanks to localization process, the finite symmetry transformations related with the nonlocal symmetry are obtained by solving the prolonged systems. The inelastic interactions among the multiple-front waves of the pKP equation are generated from the finite symmetry transformations.Based on the consistent tanh expansion method,a nonauto-B(a|¨)cklund transformation(BT)theorem of the pKP equation is constructed. We can get many new types of interaction solutions because of the existence of an arbitrary function in the nonauto-BT theorem. Some special interaction solutions are investigated both in analytical and graphical ways.  相似文献

The nonlocal symmetry is derived for an equation combining the modified Calogero–Bogoyavlenskii–Schiff equation with its negative-order form from the truncated Painlevéexpansion method. The nonlocal symmetries are localized to the Lie point symmetry by introducing new auxiliary dependent variables. The finite symmetry transformation and the Lie point symmetry for the prolonged system are solved directly. Many new interaction solutions among soliton and other types of interaction solutions for the modified Calogero–Bogoyavlenskii–Schiff equation with its negative-order form can be obtained from the consistent condition of the consistent tanh expansion method by selecting the proper arbitrary constants.  相似文献

The soliton molecules of the(1+1)-dimensional extended modified Korteweg–de Vries(mKdV)system are obtained by a new resonance condition, which is called velocity resonance. One soliton molecule and interaction between a soliton molecule and one-soliton are displayed by selecting suitable parameters. The soliton molecules including the bright and bright soliton, the dark and bright soliton, and the dark and dark soliton are exhibited in figures 1–3, respectively.Meanwhile, the nonlocal symmetry of the extended mKdV equation is derived by the truncated Painlevé method. The consistent Riccati expansion(CRE) method is applied to the extended mKdV equation. It demonstrates that the extended mKdV equation is a CRE solvable system. A nonauto-B?cklund theorem and interaction between one-soliton and cnoidal waves are generated by the CRE method.  相似文献

The consistent tanh expansion (CTE) method is applied to the (2+1)-dimensional Boussinesq equation which describes the propagation of ultrashort pulse in quadratic nonlinear medium. The interaction solutions are explicitly given, such as the bright soliton-periodic wave interaction solution, variational amplitude periodic wave solution, and kink-periodic wave interaction solution. We also obtain the bright soliton solution, kind bright soliton solution, double well dark soliton solution and kink-bright soliton interaction solution by using Painlevé truncated expansion method. And we investigate interactive properties of solitons and periodic waves.  相似文献

A consistent tanh expansion (CTE) method is used to study the modified Boussinesq equation. It is proved that the modified Boussinesq equation is CTE solvable. The soliton-cnoidal periodic wave is explicitly given by a nonanto-BT theorem. Furthermore, the nonlocal symmetry for the modified Boussinesq equation is obtained by the Painlevé analysis. The nonlocal symmetry is localized to the Lie point symmetry by introducing one auxiliary dependent variable. The finite symmetry transformation related with the nonlocal symemtry is obtained by solving the initial value problem of the prolonged systems. Thanks to the localization process, many interaction solutions among solitons and other complicated waves are computed through similarity reductions. Some special concrete soliton-cnoidal wave interaction behaviors are studied both in analytical and graphical ways.  相似文献

The nonlocal symmetries for the higher-order KdV equation are obtained with the truncated Painlev′e method. The nonlocal symmetries can be localized to the Lie point symmetries by introducing suitable prolonged systems. The finite symmetry transformations and similarity reductions for the prolonged systems are computed. Moreover, the consistent tanh expansion(CTE) method is applied to the higher-order KdV equation. These methods lead to some novel exact solutions of the higher-order KdV system.  相似文献

Under investigation in this paper is nonlocal symmetry, consistent Riccati expansion (CRE) integrability of the (1+1)-dimensional integrable nonlinear dispersive-wave system, which can be used to describes a bidirectional soliton for wave propagation. We construct the Bäcklund transformation and consider the truncated Painlevé expansion of the system. It’s Schwarzian form is derived, whose nonlocal symmetry is localized to provide the corresponding nonlocal group. Furthermore, we verify that the system is solvable via the CRE. Based on the CRE, we further present its soliton-cnoidal wave interaction solution in terms of Jacobi elliptic functions and the third type of incomplete elliptic integral.  相似文献

We study a forced variable-coefficient extended Korteweg-de Vries (KdV) equation in fluid dynamics with respect to internal solitary wave. Bäcklund transformations of the forced variable-coefficient extended KdV equation are demonstrated with the help of truncated Painlevé expansion. When the variable coefficients are time-periodic, the wave function evolves periodically over time. Symmetry calculation shows that the forced variable-coefficient extended KdV equation is invariant under the Galilean transformations and the scaling transformations. One-parameter group transformations and one-parameter subgroup invariant solutions are presented. Cnoidal wave solutions and solitary wave solutions of the forced variable-coefficient extended KdV equation are obtained by means of function expansion method. The consistent Riccati expansion (CRE) solvability of the forced variable-coefficient extended KdV equation is proved by means of CRE. Interaction phenomenon between cnoidal waves and solitary waves can be observed. Besides, the interaction waveform changes with the parameters. When the variable parameters are functions of time, the interaction waveform will be not regular and smooth.  相似文献

In this paper, nonlocal residual symmetry of a generalized (2+1)-dimensional Korteweg–de Vries equation is derived with the aid of truncated Painlevé expansion. Three kinds of non-auto and auto Bäcklund transformations are established. The nonlocal symmetry is localized to a Lie point symmetry of a prolonged system by introducing auxiliary dependent variables. The linear superposed multiple residual symmetries are presented, which give rise to the nth Bäcklund transformation. The consistent Riccati expansion method is employed to derive a Bäcklund transformation. Furthermore, the soliton solutions, fusion-type N-solitary wave solutions and soliton–cnoidal wave solutions are gained through Bäcklund transformations.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider an extended Korteweg-de Vries (KdV) equation. Using the consistent Riccati expansion (CRE) method of Lou, the extended KdV equation is proved to be CRE solvable in only two distinct cases. These two CRE solvable models are the KdV-Lax and KdV-Sawada-Kotera (KdV-SK) equations. In addition, applying the nonauto-Bäcklund transformations which are provided by the CRE method, we present the explicit construction for soliton-cnoidal wave interaction solutions which represent a soliton propagating on a cnoidal periodic wave background in the KdV-Lax and KdV-SK equations, respectively.  相似文献

The extended form of modified Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation with variable-coefficient is investigated in the framework of Painlevé analysis. The Lax pairs are obtained by analysing two Painlevé branches of this equation. Starting with the Lax pair, the N-times Darboux transformation is constructed and the N-soliton solution formula is given, which contains 2n free parameters and two arbitrary functions. Furthermore, with different combinations of the parameters, several types of soliton solutions are calculated from the first order to the third order. The regularity conditions are discussed in order to avoid the singularity of the solutions. Moreover, we construct the generalized Darboux transformation matrix by considering a special limiting process and find a rational-type solution for this equation.  相似文献

By using the extended homogeneous balance method, a new auto-Ba^ecklund transformation(BT) to the generalized Kadomtsew-Petviashvili equation with variable coefficients (VCGKP) are obtained. And making use of the auto-BT and choosing a special seed solution, we get many families of new exact solutions of the VCGKP equations, which include single soliton-like solutions, multi-soliton-like solutions, and special-soliton-like solutions. Since the KP equation and cylindrical KP equation are all special cases of the VCGKP equation, and the corresponding results of these equations are also given respectively.  相似文献

In this work, we study a generalized double dispersion Boussinesq equation that plays a significant role in fluid mechanics, scientific fields, and ocean engineering. This equation will be reduced to the Korteweg–de Vries equation via using the perturbation analysis. We derive the corresponding vectors, symmetry reduction and explicit solutions for this equation. We readily obtain B?cklund transformation associated with truncated Painlevéexpansion. We also examine the related conservation laws of this equation via using the multiplier method. Moreover, we investigate the reciprocal B?cklund transformations of the derived conservation laws for the first time.  相似文献

With the aid of the Painlevé analysis, we obtain residual symmetries for a new (3+1)-dimensional generalized Kadomtsev—Petviashvili (gKP) equation. The residual symmetry is localized and the finite transformation is proposed by introducing suitable auxiliary variables. In addition, the interaction solutions of the (3+1)-dimensional gKP equation are constructed via the consistent Riccati expansion method. Particularly, some analytical soliton-cnoidal interaction solutions are discussed in graphical way.  相似文献

In this paper, the truncated Painlev′e analysis and the consistent tanh expansion(CTE) method are developed for the(2+1)-dimensional breaking soliton equation. As a result, the soliton-cnoidal wave interaction solution of the equation is explicitly given, which is difficult to be found by other traditional methods. When the value of the Jacobi elliptic function modulus m = 1, the soliton-cnoidal wave interaction solution reduces back to the two-soliton solution. The method can also be extended to other types of nonlinear evolution equations in mathematical physics.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

A coupled Alice–Bob modified Korteweg de-Vries (mKdV) system is established from the mKdV equation in this paper, which is nonlocal and suitable to model two-place entangled events. The Lax integrability of the coupled Alice–Bob mKdV system is proved by demonstrating three types of Lax pairs. By means of the truncated Painlevé expansion, auto-Bäcklund transformation of the coupled Alice–Bob mKdV system and Bäcklund transformation between the coupled Alice–Bob mKdV system and the Schwarzian mKdV equation are demonstrated. Nonlocal residual symmetries of the coupled Alice–Bob mKdV system are researched. To obtain localized Lie point symmetries of residual symmetries, the coupled Alice–Bob mKdV system is extended to a system consisting six equations. Calculation on the prolonged system shows that it is invariant under the scaling transformations, space-time translations, phase translations and Galilean translations. One-parameter group transformation and one-parameter subgroup invariant solutions are obtained. The consistent Riccati expansion (CRE) solvability of the coupled Alice–Bob mKdV system is proved and some interaction structures between soliton–cnoidal waves are obtained by CRE. Moreover, Jacobi periodic wave solutions, solitary wave solutions and singular solutions are obtained by elliptic function expansion and exponential function expansion.  相似文献

We explore the(2+1)-dimensional dispersive long-wave(DLW) system. From the standard truncated Painlev′e expansion, the B¨acklund transformation(BT) and residual symmetries of this system are derived. The introduction to an appropriate auxiliary dependent variable successfully localizes the residual symmetries to Lie point symmetries. In particular, it is verified that the(2+1)-dimensional DLW system is consistent Riccati expansion(CRE) solvable. If the special form of(CRE)-consistent tanh-function expansion(CTE) is taken, the soliton-cnoidal wave solutions and corresponding images can be explicitly given. Furthermore, the conservation laws of the DLW system are investigated with symmetries and Ibragimov theorem.  相似文献

The Boussinesq equation is one of important prototypic models in nonlinear physics. Various nonlinear excitations of the Boussinesq equation have been found by many methods. However, it is very difficult to find interaction solutions among different types of nonlinear excitations. In this peper, two equivalent very simple methods, the truncated Painlevé analysis and the generalized tanh function expansion approaches, are developed to find interaction solutions between solitons and any other types of Boussinesq waves.  相似文献
