Extraction of Bk(IV), Ce(IV), Pu(IV) and Zr by tributyl phosphate from 2M to 16M nitric acid solutions has been studied. Using the data on the effect of the extractant, nitric acid and nitrate ion concentrations on the distribution coefficients of Bk(IV) and Ce(IV), the mechanism of Bk(IV) extraction by tributyl phosphate from nitric acid solutions is considered.  相似文献

The distribution of beryllium between aqueous sulfuric acid/potassium iodide solutions and organic phases of tributyl phosphate is described. The dependence of extraction on the pH of the aqueous phase, metal and extractant concentration, diluent type and organic additive, has been investigated. Extraction mechanism is discussed on the basis of results obtained. A method for the separation and determination of beryllium, in a mixture of beryllium and aluminium (with other contaminants) is outlined.  相似文献

19F and 21Sb NMR spectroscopy and chemical analysis were used to study the composition and structure of fluoride complexes of antimony(V) and tantalum(V) in organic and aqueous phases in extraction by tributyl phosphate (TBP) and n-octanol. It is found that extraction from solutions containing a single element or both elements occurs via the hydrate-solvate mechanism. The possibility of separating tantalum(V) and antimony(V) by extraction from fluoride solutions is shown. The efficiency of tantalum(V) and antimony(V) separation by extraction from fluoride solutions is enhanced at a transition from TBP to n-octanol.  相似文献

Extraction of Am(III) by dihexyl N,N-diethylcarbamoylmethyl phosphonate (CMP) in benzene from nitric acid solutions (pH 2.0 to 6.0M) has been studied. High extraction of Am(III) by CMP from 2–3M HNO3 was observed. The species extracted was found to be Am(NO3)3·3CMP. The extraction was also done with mixtures of CMP+TBP and CMP+TOPO, where mixed species were extracted in the organic phase. The back-extraction experiments gave an efficient back-extraction of Am(III) by pH 2.0 (HNO3) from the loaded CMP+TBP phase but a poor back-extraction from the loaded CMP+TOPO phase. The loading of Nd(III) by mixture of CMP and TBP was 50% of the CMP concentrations at a total Nd(III) concentration of 0.182M. The thermodynamic parameters of Am(III) extraction by a mixture of CMP and TBP were evaluated by temperature variation method, which suggests that the two-phase reaction is stabilized by enthalpy and opposed by entropy.  相似文献

Using IR spectroscopy we have shown that at digerent equilibrium concentrations of HCl in aqueous phases, its tributyl phosphate @acts contain: 1) at CHcl a < 2.3 M, micelle-like associates H5O2 +(H2O)n–2(TBP)mCl·(H20·TBP)2 (n 26 and m 13), the structure of micelles is discussed 2) at 2.3 M < CHCl a < 5.6 M, dimer associates [H5O2 +(H2O)2Cl(H2O·TBP)2]2; 3) at 5.6 M < CHCl a < 8.5 M, H-bonded molecular fragments H5O2 +(TBP)2/3Cl(A); and 4) at CHCl a > 8.5 M, considerable amounts of the H3O+ tisolvate start to form in molecular fragments H3O+(TBP)1/3Cl (B) H-bonded with the nearest neighbors. At CHcl a > 5.6 M, almost no free TBP molecules occur in the extracts and a structured liquid forms from the A fragments; and at CHcl a > 8.5 M, from the B fragments.Institute of Catalysis, Siberian Branch, Russian Academy of Sciences. Using quantitative difference IR spectroscopy we have found that the tibutyl phosphate & acts of zirconium from 12–15 M HN03 contain ionic associates [(TBP)2H+]Zr(NO3)5 (I) and [TBP· H30+ (H20)n]Zr(N03)5 (II), where n = 1, 2, as well as the Zr(N03)4(TBP)2 complex at a lower concentration than (I) and (I.). The equilibrium I II is shifted toward II at higher CHNo 3 0 and lower cZr 0. The extraction of silver, mercury, selenium, zinc, cobalt and iron with tridodecylamine (TDA) and tributyl phosphate (TBP) from hydrochloric acid solutions in aqueous methanol, ethanol and acetone is reported. Mössbauer spectra of hexakis/alkylurea/iron/III/ complexes were measured to investigate the paramagnetic relaxation in ionic compounds. The effects of iron-iron distance and temperature on Mössbauer line shape were studied in these compounds, and the results are discussed in comparison with our previous data on tris/\-diketonato/iron/III/.  相似文献

Tributyl phosphate (TBP) and other alkyl phosphates represent a class of persistent organophosphorus compounds of widespread use. Biodegradation of the phosphotriesters is postulated to occur through sequential hydrolytic cleavages via the phosphodiester and monoester intermediates to alcohol and inorganic phosphate (Pi). Immobilized cells of aCitrobacter sp. liberated Pi upon challenge with TBP but the reaction was short-lived. In vitro studies with purified phosphomonoesterase (phosphatase) used31P nuclear magnetic resonance to demonstrate Pi transfer onto ethanol (phosphotransferase activity). This suggested that in vivo the onset of a futile phosphohydrolytic and transphosphorylation cycle would limit the extent of phosphate production. A mutant deficient in the transphosphorylating phosphomonoesterase showed an extended release of Pi under challenge with TBP that was not subject to the complete and premature reaction termination that precluded application of the parent strain to possible industrial processes for alkyl phosphate biodegradation.  相似文献

The distribution of La(III), Ce(III) and Y(III) from potassium thiocyanate solutions by tributyl phosphate is described. The dependence of extraction on pH, thiocyanate concentration, metal and extractant concentration, diluent type and temperature, was thoroughly investigated. Solvation numbers and thermodynamic data were calculated and discussed. A method has been suggested for the separation of Th(IV) from such elements.  相似文献

The following extraction systems have been studied: (Ce3++Eu3+) (NO3)-(EDTA, DCTA, DTPA)/TBP in n-alkane and (Ce3++Eu3+)(NO3)/DEHPA in n-alkane at concentration ratios as follows: [Ce3+]=trace –1 mol·dm–3, [Eu3+]=trace –0.1 mol·dm–3. [TBP]=(0.183–1.83) mol·dm–3, [DEHPA]=(5·10–3–0.1) mol·dm–3, [(H, Na)NO3]=(0.1–6) mol·dm–3, [Eu3+]: [EDTA, DCTA, DTPA]=11–110. The initial concentration of Eu3+ in aqueous phase in the extraction system containing a mixture of Ce3+ and Eu3+ was trace, 1% and 10% compared with the Ce3+ concentration. The distribution of the elements between the phases was observed radiometrically using141Ce,152Eu and154Eu. The results are documented by the distribution ratios DCe, DEu and separation factor =DEu/DCe as functions of variable parameters of the systems.  相似文献

Studies on the extraction of thorium, protactinium, uranium and neptunium from H2SO4 solutions by TLA indicated that these elements have low distribution coefficients (<0.1) at high acid concentrations. Additions of HCl or HBr to H2SO4 solutions enhances appreciably the extraction of the mentioned elements. A systematic investigation on the effect of halide concentration and solvetn concentration helped in explaining the observed enhancement as well as identifying the extracted complexes.  相似文献
