The current paper describes the synthesis and spectral investigations on the adducts of [Zn(dbzdtc)2] (1) with 1,10-phen (2), tmed (3), 2,2′-bipy (4) and 4,4′-bipy (5) (where, dbzdtc = dibenzyldithiocarbamate anion, 1,10-phen = 1,10-phenanthroline, tmed = tetramethylethylenediamine, 2,2′-bipy = 2,2′-bipyridine, 4,4′-bipy = 4,4′-bipyridne) and single crystal X-ray structures of [Zn(dbzdtc)2(1,10-phen)] (2) and [Zn(dbzdtc)2(tmed)] (3) and [Zn(dbzdtc)2(4,4′-bipy)] (5). 1H and 13C NMR spectra of 1,10-phen, tmed, 2,2′-bipy and 4,4′-bipy adducts were recorded. 1H NMR spectra of the complexes show the drift of electrons from the nitrogen of the substituents forcing a high electron density towards sulfur via the thioureide π-system. In the 13C NMR spectra, the most important thioureide (N13CS2) carbon signals are observed in the region: 206–210 ppm. Fluorescence spectra of complexes (2) and (4) show intense fluorescence due to the presence of rigid conjugate systems such as 1,10-phenanthroline and 2,2′-bipyridine. The observed fluorescence maxima for complexes with an MS4N2 chromophore in the visible region are assigned to the metal-to-ligand charge transfer (MLCT) processes. Single crystal X-ray structural analysis of (2) and (3) showed that the zinc atom is in a distorted octahedral environment. Bond Valence Sum was found to be equivalent to 1.865 for (2), 1.681 for (3) supporting the correctness of the determined structure. BVS of (3) deviates from the formal oxidation number of zinc due to the non-aromatic, sterically hindering tetramethyl bonding end of tmed. Thermal studies on the compounds show the formation of Zn(NCS)2 as an intermediate during the decay. 相似文献

All the complexes were characterized by IR, NMR (1H and 13C), and thermogravimetric study. The IR spectra of the complexes show the contribution of the thioureide form to the structures. In 13C NMR spectra, the most important thioureide (N13CS2) carbon signals are observed at 210–212?ppm. Single crystal X-ray structural analyses of 2 and 4 show the presence of extensive supramolecular interactions stabilizing the solid-state structure. Both zinc and cadmium are in a distorted octahedral environment with MS4N2 chromophores. VBS of Zn and Cd are 1.76 and 1.98, respectively, supporting the correctness of the determined structure and the valence of the central metal ions. 相似文献

The current article describes the TG and DT analyses of divalent Zn, Cd, and Hg dithiocarbamato (dtc) complexes and their adducts (dchdtc = N,N-dicyclohexyldithiocarbamate anion, 4-mpzdtc = 4-methylpiperazinecarbodithioato anion, padtc = N,N′-(iminodiethylene)bisphthalimidedithiocarbamate anion, pipdtc = piperidinecarbodithioate anion, 1,10-phen = 1,10-phenanthroline, and 2,2′-bipy = 2,2′-bipyridine) along with the structural reinvestigation of [Hg(tetds)I 2 ], where tetds = tetraethylthiuramdisulfide. In the case of Zn(II) and Cd(II) dithiocarbamates and their nitrogenous adducts, thermal decomposition of the nitrogenous bases is followed by the decay of dithiocarbamate leading to the formation of ZnS or CdS as residue. The interaction of iodine with [Hg(dedtc) 2 ] in CHCl 3 results in the oxidation of diethyldithiocarbamate leading to the formation of [Hg(tetds)I 2 ], and the structure was redetermined because the earlier determination was by a Polaroid crystallographic technique with a higher R value. The S-Hg-I bond angles [105.09(3); 105.59(3); 109.26(3), and 100.99(3)°] indicate the near tetrahedral environment around the metal ion. 1 H and 13 C NMR spectra of the complex were analyzed. Whether the product formed upon oxidation is a disulfide or an iodo-substituted product, in the present investigation, is clearly decided by the bulkiness of the substituent attached to the nitrogen. Interestingly, the steric influence is a deciding factor only in the case of mercury compounds and the dithiocarbamates involving Zn, Cd forms of the disulfide complexes. 相似文献

Three model metal complexes: Ni(NCS)L, Zn2(NCS)2L2 and Cd2(NCS)2L2, consisting of the SCN− anion(s) and L = 2-[(2-dimethylaminoethylimino)-methyl]-phenolate, have been studied by X-ray diffraction and solid state NMR spectroscopy. The metal cations in these complexes have different coordination modes: Ni2+ is almost square-planar, the Zn2+ cation in Zn2(NCS)2L2 is pentacoordinated, whereas Cd2+ is penta- and hexacoordinated in [Cd2(NCS)2L2]. The different coordination of the metal cations influences the chemical shifts of the metal cations and also the nitrogen atoms. These chemical shifts can be correlated with the M-N and M-O bond lengths (M = Ni2+, Zn2+, Cd2+). 相似文献

Bis(betainium) p-toluenesulfonate monohydrate (abbreviated as BBTSH) was studied at various temperatures by X-ray diffraction, differential scanning calorimetry and vibrational spectroscopy methods. DSC curves of BBTSH show a peak at about 349 K which corresponds to water escape from the crystal, and reveal the “cold crystallization” phenomenon. BBTSH crystallizes in the P21/c space group of monoclinic system. After heating above 349 K the compound dehydrates, the crystal system changes to triclinic, the monocrystalline samples become non-merohedral twins. The BBTSH crystal comprises p-toluenesulfonic anions, monoprotonated betaine dimers and water molecules. Three kinds of hydrogen bonds are present in the crystal: strong, asymmetric and almost linear OH⋯O hydrogen bond (R(O⋯O) = 2.463(2) Å), weak OwH⋯O hydrogen bonds (R(Ow⋯O) = 2.820(2) − 2.822(2) Å) and weak CH⋯O hydrogen bonds (R(C⋯O) = 3.295(2) − 3.416(2) Å). The νaOHO vibration of the strongest hydrogen bond in the crystal gives rise to an intense broad absorption with numbers of transmission windows in the low wavenumber region of the infrared spectra. Coupling between νCO stretching vibrations of two COO groups of the betaine dimer was detected. The process corresponding to the loss of water is accompanied by the breakage of strong OH⋯O hydrogen bonds in betaine dimers and rearrangement inside half of the betaine dimers. This rearrangement results in formation of the new betaine dimers with OH∙∙∙O hydrogen bond of similar strength as corresponding bond in the hydrated form (BBTSH). 相似文献

Tris(trimethylsilyl)cyanurate, C12H27N3O3Si3 (1), has been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, Raman, 13C and 29Si NMR, and thermogravimetric methods. The molecular and crystal structure has been determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. This compound crystallized in space group P63/m (176), Z = 2 with a = 11.017(2), b = 11.017(2), c = 9.676(3) Å; α = 90°, β = 90°, γ = 120°. Violet single-crystals of the complex [Cu(ox)(phen)2]·5H2O (1), where ox2− is oxalate and phen is 1,10-phenanthroline, were obtained by slow evaporation of a solution previously prepared by dissolving Cu(ox)·1/3H2O in a water–acetonitrile solution of phenantroline. Its crystal structure consists of neutral mononuclear [Cu(ox)(phen)2] units and crystallization water molecules which are held together by face-to-face stacking interactions between the phenantroline aromatic rings and an extensive three-dimensional network of Ow–HO/Ow hydrogen bonds. The copper atom is hexaco-ordinated to two oxygen atoms of a bidentate oxalato ligand and to four nitrogen atoms belonging to two phen ligands in a distorted octahedral cis arrangement. The e.p.r. Q-band spectrum of 1 shows an axial-type signal with g-tensor values of g=2.28 and g=2.06, which is consistent with the axially elongated octahedral geometry of the copper(II) chromophore found in the structural work. The relation gg>2.0 indicates a d(x2−y2) ground state. Variable temperature susceptibility measurements (5–300 K) reveals the occurrence of magnetically isolated paramagnetic centers in the crystal structure. Thermal degradation of the compound 1 under synthetic air atmosphere starts between 50 and 110°C with an endothermic process attributable to the release of the crystallization water molecules. 相似文献

The title compound has been prepared and its crystal structure determined by X-ray diffraction methods. The complex salt consists of Mn(II) complex cations, benzoate anions and lattice water molecules. Mn(II) assumes a distorted octahedral geometry defined by two 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) ligands, a Cl? ion and a water molecule. A comparison of bond distances and bond angles suggests electrostatic interaction between Mn(II) and coordinated N atoms. The nitrobenzoate anion does not coordinate to the Mn atom but links with the complex cation via O?H···O hydrogen bonds. A new series of bimetallic bis(diphenylphosphino)acetylene-bridged copper(I) 1,10-phenanthroline complexes, [Cu2(dppa)2(L)2](BF4)2; L?=?1,10-phenanthroline (1); 4-methyl-1,10-phenanthroline (2); 4,7-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline (3); and 2,9-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline (4), have been prepared and characterized by spectroscopic methods. The X-ray structures of 1 and 4 were determined. The structures consist of centrosymmetric bimetallic 10-membered chair-like dimetallacycles. In 1, intermolecular C–H?π interactions result in bending of the phenanthroline ligand and sterically induced lengthening of one Cu–P bond. In 1–4, the 31P NMR downfield coordination shift, relative to the free ligand, correlates with the basic strength of the 1,10-phenanthroline ligands. 相似文献

The complex crystallizes in the triclinic space group of Pī with a?=?8.2589(14)?Å, b?=?8.5409(14)?Å, c?=?9.7947(16)?Å, α?=?70.022(2)°, β?=?74.338(2)°, γ?=?71.530(2)°. Each Cd(II) is coordinated by four μ1,3-SCN? forming a zigzag chain and then two μ2-mpdo monodentate ligands coordinate to two adjacent Cd(II) ions leading to a two-dimensional sheet structure along the ab plane, and in the c direction the sheets stack parallel through π–π interactions and giving a three-dimensional structure. Reactions of title ylide, {(C6H5)3PCHCOC6H4C6H5)} (BPPPY), with mercury(II) halides in equimolar ratios in methanol yielded dinuclear complexes [(BPPPY)HgCl2]2 (1), [(BPPPY)HgBr2]2 (2), and [(BPPPY)HgI2]2 (3). Reactions of BPPPY with CdCl2 in equimolar ratios gave [(BPPPY)CdCl2]2 (4). Reaction of PdCl2 with BPPPY (1/2) in acetonitrile at room temperature gave cis/trans [PdCl2{CH(PPh3)COC6H4C6H5}2] (5). The same reaction at reflux gave the orthopalladated complex [Pd{CH{P(2-C6H4)Ph}(COC6H4C6H5)}(μ-Cl)]2 (6) along with the phosphonium salt [Ph3PCHCOC6H4C6H5]Br. The compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, IR-, 1H-, 13C-, and 31P-NMR spectroscopy. Single crystal X-ray analysis of 3 reveals the centrosymmetric dimeric structure containing the ylide and HgI2. Crystallographic data for 3 are: crystal system, monoclinic; space group, P 21/n, a = 15.7744(7), b = 23.0288(9), c = 20.2867(9) Å, β = 112.237(3)°, V = 6821.4(5) Å3, and Z = 1. 相似文献

A series of zinc(II) diimine bis(thiolate) complexes with photochromic diarylethene-containing phenanthroline ligands was synthesized, and their photophysical and photochromic properties were studied. The X-ray crystal structures of two of these complexes have been characterized. All complexes exhibit strong 3LLCT phosphorescence at 510-620 nm in the solid state at 77 and 298 K and in EtOH-MeOH glass at 77 K. Detailed studies revealed that the absorption, emission, and electrochemical properties of the complexes could be readily switched via the photochromic ring-closing and ring-opening reactions. 相似文献

Complexes of cadmium(II)-selenocyanate with several alkyldiamine ligands have been synthesized and characterized by IR, 113Cd, 77Se, 15N and 13C NMR spectroscopy. The X-ray structure of the complex [Cd(SeCN)2-en] reveals two non-equivalent metal ion centers, both with a distorted octahedral geometry. Six new copper(II) complexes of 2-hydroxyacetophenone-N(4)-phenyl semicarbazone have been synthesized and physico-chemically characterized. The tridentate character of the semicarbazone is inferred from IR spectra. Based on EPR studies, the spin Hamiltonian and bonding parameters have been calculated. The g values, calculated for all the complexes in frozen DMF, indicate the presence of the unpaired electron in the dx2-y2 orbital. The metal–ligand bonding parameters evaluated showed strong in-plane σ and in-plane π-bonding. The structure of the compound, CuLphen has been resolved using single crystal X-ray diffraction studies. The crystal structure revealed a monoclinic lattice with space group symmetry P21/c. The compound adopts a distorted square pyramidal geometry with a N2O2 core as the base. 相似文献

An interesting series of nine new copper(II) complexes [Cu2L2(OAc)2]·H2O (1), [CuLNCS]·½H2O (2), [CuLNO3]·½H2O (3), [Cu(HL)Cl2]·H2O (4), [Cu2(HL)2(SO4)2]·4H2O (5), [CuLClO4]·½H2O (6), [CuLBr]·2H2O (7), [CuL2]·H2O (8) and [CuLN3]·CH3OH (9) of 2-benzoylpyridine-N(4)-phenyl semicarbazone (HL) have been synthesized and physico-chemically characterized. The reaction of a mixture of cis and trans-[PtCl2(SMe2)2] with 4,7-phen (4,7-phen = 4,7-phenanthroline) in a molar ratio of 1 : 1 or 2 : 1 resulted in the formation of mono and binuclear complexes trans-[PtCl2(SMe2)(4,7-phen)] (1) and trans-[Pt2Cl4(SMe2)2(μ-4,7-phen)] (2), respectively. The products have been fully characterized by elemental analysis, 1H, 13C{1H}, HHCOSY, HSQC, HMBC, and DEPT-135 NMR spectroscopy. The crystal structure of 1 reveals that platinum has a slightly distorted square planar geometry. Both chlorides are trans with a deviation from linearity 177.66(3)°, while the N–Pt–S angle is 175.53(6)°. Similarly, the reaction of a mixture of cis and trans-[PtBr2(SMe2)2] with 4,7-phen in a 1 : 1 or 2 : 1 mole ratio afforded the mono or binuclear complexes trans-[PtBr2(SMe2)(4,7-phen)] (3) and trans-[Pt2Br4(SMe2)2(μ-4,7-phen)] (4), respectively. The crystal structure of trans-[Pt2Br4(SMe2)2(μ-4,7-phen)].C6H6 reveals that 4,7-phen bridges between two platinum centers in a slightly distorted square planar arrangement of the platinum. In this structure, both bromides are trans, while the PtBr2(SMe2) moieties are syn to each other. NMR data of mono and binuclear complexes of platinum 1–4 show that the binuclear complexes exist in solution as a minor product, while the mononuclear complexes are major products. 相似文献

Single crystals of ZSM-39 and its variation CF-4 were crystallized with various habits. The crystals had a size up to 450 m and were hydrothermally grown over a period of 8 to 72 days from a gel system consisting of amine-alcohol-SiO2–H2O at 200°C. The amines used were MA (methylamine), TMEDA (N,N,N,N-tetramethylenediamine), TMAOH, TEAOH, isopropylamine,tert-butylamine, hexahydropyridine,n-propylamine, andN,N-dimethylethanolamine. The alcohols used were glycerine, ethylene glycol, and 1,3-propanediol. The highest quality crystals of ZSM-39 were grown in a system of MA–SiO2–H2O, and CF-4, in the MA-glycerine-SiO2–H2O system. The optical properties of these crystals were observed and crystal structures were measured from both powder and single crystal diffraction data. 相似文献
