由于超声波传感器的工作需要极高的灵敏度和稳定度,其性能优化一直是研究的重点之一。本文采用传递矩阵法计算了基于ZnO/SiC结构的Lamb波传感器的各项性能,包括机电耦合系数,插入损耗,灵敏度以及较小的最小检测域。根据模拟结果,对Lamb波传感器的以上五个性能参数进行了优化,得到了优化工作条件。 研究发现,Lamb波多模特性为这种传感器的性能优化提供了丰富的选择性,选择不同的模式,可以对各项性能参数进行不同目的的优化。研究结果对研制高性能的Lamb波超声传感器具有理论指导作用。  相似文献

声表面波器件是一种利用压电材料的压电效应与逆压电效应工作电子器件, 文章首先详细描述了声表面波器件的设计与仿真过程,运用有限元分析的方法分别计算了利用声表面波的 SAW 器件与利用体波的 BAW 器件的性能与各项参数,对相关的器件进行了计算分析,分别用上述方法研究了基于 AlN 薄膜的声表面波器件和悬臂梁结构的体波器件,推导得出了器件的电学导纳与频率之间的关系, 通过分析器件的导纳-频率曲线,推导出器件内部声波的模式以及合适的工作频率,最终得出在 IDT 周期为 8 微米的情况下,SAW 器件的理想工作频率是 0.7-1.95GHz,BAW 器件的理想工作频率在 0.6-3.2GHz 的结果。  相似文献

功能梯度板中的兰姆波的传播在实际工程中有着非常广泛的应用。采用层状模型研究了兰姆波在材料特性沿厚度方向连续变化的功能梯度板中的传播特性。通过数值计算获得了层状板中兰姆波的色散关系,并与已有结果进行了比较,获得了材料属性沿厚度方向呈指数变化和多项式变化时功能梯度板中兰姆波的波速和位移解。当材料属性连续变化时,兰姆波各阶模态的波速与位移都将发生变化。相比于兰姆波的高阶模态,低阶模态的波速变化更加明显。本文的研究可为功能梯度板的设计提供参考。  相似文献

In order to investigate non-destructively the bonding between rough plates, the problem of Lamb waves propagating on a rough plate is addressed in this paper. Numerical analysis is performed on periodical gratings made of identical triangular grooves. If the surface profile is made up of grooves with one periodicity, then a mode conversion is observed. In the wave-number/frequency space, a phonon relation is written between phonons related to the grating and to the incident and reflected-converted modes. If the grooved surface is made up of several spatial periodicities, then the phonon relation is still verified. Signal processing allows us to give an interpretation of the results in the dual space (wave-number/frequency). An experimental study is also performed to corroborate the numerical predictions.  相似文献

对于板材的内部缺陷,常用兰姆波作超声无损检测。兰姆波在板材自由端面上的反射呈现复杂现象,即使在纯模入射条件下,通常也要产生无数个其它模式的反射兰姆渡。由于兰姆波本征模式正交关系同时涉及位移和应力,使其反射问题的分析较复杂,我们采用了一种新方法,应用最小二乘原理,将兰姆波本征模式作为试验函数,实现了一种较简单的分析方法。在一般情形下,利用8位微处理机就可取得满意的结果。应用该方法,给出了兰姆波在自由端面上反射时各模式的反射系数,阐明了纯模反射条件,并发现了关于模式转换的一些有趣的新现象。  相似文献

Lamb waves are guided ultrasonic plate waves that can follow the curvature of pipe-like structures. By transmitting and receiving many helically propagating Lamb waves via longitudinal transducers in contact with the surface of a pipe, crosshole tomographic geometries can be mimicked and tomographic reconstructions performed in order to locate and size flaws. We describe here a meridional-array scheme which mimics a single line of transducers along the exterior surface of the pipe in the axial direction, and show proof of concept results on a pipe sample with an internal wall-thinning. We also demonstrate improved reconstructions for the other helical ultrasound tomography geometry where the transmitters and receivers lie along parallel circumferential rings. We find frequency compounding smoothes out some of the noise and artifacts that appear in the reconstructions.  相似文献

The liquid wedge method is used to excite leaky Lamb waves on an aluminium plate while the plate is immersed in water. The excitation occurs near the end of the plate so that sonic energy of the excited mode radiates into the liquid. A Schlieren method is used to observe the radiation pattern and a correlation is made between the radiation lobe structure and the symmetric or antisymmetric nature of the excited mode. Theoretical calculations of the transfer of energy from the plate to the liquid are made and agreement between theory and experiment is obtained.  相似文献

This study concentrates on the reflection of Lamb waves at the free end of a plate. The conversion phenomena are examined in detail over a large frequency range and the energy conversion coefficients are obtained by three different ways: theoretically, numerically (finite element method) and experimentally. The experimental energy determination is obtained from the measurement of the plate normal displacements, by mean of a laser interferometer. All results are in relatively good agreement and the energy balance between incident and reflected waves is discussed in each case.  相似文献

Lamb wave propagation was calculated by using hybrid boundary element method (HBEM) that is the combination of the analytical mode expansion and boundary element method. HBEM makes it possible to simulate Lamb wave propagation in large plates with shorter computational time. The numerical results, e.g. displacements and stresses, were collected at every time step for the inner grid points and visualized as mpeg movies or jpeg pictures. The generation mechanism of Lamb waves is investigated as a numerical example.  相似文献

An equivalent single layer model of Lamb wave generation by thickness-graded piezoelectric IDT on host structure is developed. Various additional complexities, such as the coupling between the Lamb wave modes, complicated nature of the electro-mechanical excitation are considered. The model of infinite IDT is extended to deal with the finite IDT with edge discontinuities. The effects of electromechanical coupling and thickness gradation on the wavelength shifts are investigated. The problem of electrically driven instability within the IDT is analyzed. Numerical results are reported by considering Al2O3/PZT IDT as integral part of the host structure, which show that there are significant changes and improvements in the Lamb wave characteristics due to the graded configuration. Most important among these is the reduced dispersiveness of the Lamb wave modes, which is useful in launching a SAW that propagates with narrower pulse width and less attenuation.  相似文献

We have designed and built a chirped-pulse parametric-amplifier system that utilizes a 10 Hz, 300 ps, Nd:YAG pump laser system; a 1.575 microm fiber oscillator and amplifier as the signal source; and rubidium titanyl phosphate and potassium titanyl arsenate nonlinear crystals. We obtained 260 fs, 30 mJ pulses centered at 1.550 microm, representing a gain of > 10(9) and a peak power of 100 GW. To our knowledge, these are the highest energy and peak power pulses ever produced in the 1.5-2.0 microm region  相似文献

A Lamb wave interdigital transducer mounted on a layered substrate composed of two plates, a thin piezoelectric ceramic plate and an acrylic plate, operating at a liquid-solid boundary, is investigated for ultrasonic nondestructive testing of the layer thickness in human teeth. A higher-order mode having a phase velocity higher than the longitudinal wave velocity in the human teeth can be used for nondestructive testing. In the combination of the two layers, the fourth mode of leaky Lamb wave is most favorable for a frequency-controllable radiation angle of an ultrasound beam into a water layer as an acoustic coupler. In the configuration of an acoustic delay line, the layer-thickness measurement in vivo, evaluated from the time interval between two reflected ultrasound echoes, is successfully realized under a thin water layer as the acoustic coupler.  相似文献

对弱界面分层结构中兰姆波的非线性效应进行了研究。在二阶微扰近似条件下,将兰姆波传播过程中的非线性效应处理成兰姆波线性波动响应的一个二阶微扰。采用界面弹簧模型对分层结构的弱界面性质进行描述。根据模式展开分析方法,伴随基频兰姆波传播所发生的二次谐波可视为由一系列二倍频兰姆波模式叠加而成。弱界面性质的变化将从多个方面对二倍频兰姆波模式的展开系数产生影响,尤其是弱界面性质变化导致的兰姆波相速度的改变可显著地影响到二倍频兰姆波模式随传播距离的积累增长程度。分析结果表明,兰姆波的非线性效应可有效地表征分层结构的弱界面特性。  相似文献

Abstract

The Lamb wave dispersion in a PZT/Metal/PZT sandwich plate is investigated by employing the exact linear equations of electro-elastic waves in piezoelectric materials within the scope of the plane-strain state. It is assumed that at the interfaces between the piezoelectric face layers and metal core layer, shear-spring and normal-spring type imperfect conditions are satisfied. The degree of this imperfectness is estimated through the corresponding shear-spring and normal-spring type parameters which appear in the contact condition characterizing the transverse and normal displacements’ discontinuity. The corresponding dispersion equation is derived, and as a result of the numerical solution to this equation, the dispersion curves are constructed for the first and second lowest modes in the cases where the material of the face layers is PZT and the material of the middle layer is Steel (St). Consequently, for the PZT/St/PZT sandwich plate, the study of the influence of the problem parameters such as the piezoelectric and dielectric constants, layer thickness ratios, non-dimensional shear-spring, and normal-spring type parameters, is carried out. In particular, it is established that the imperfectness of the contact between the layers of the plate causes a decrease in the values of the wave propagation velocity.  相似文献

A novel Lamb wave frequency-mixing technique is proposed for locating microcracks in a thin plate,which does not require the resonance condition of Lamb wave mixing and can accurately locate the microcracks through only one-time sensing.Based on the bilinear stress-strain constitutive model,a two-dimensional finite element(FE)model is built to investigate the frequency-mixing response induced by the interaction between two primary Lamb waves and a microcrack.When two primary Lamb waves of A0 and S0 modes with different frequencies excited on the same side of the plate simultaneously impinge on the examined microcrack,under the modulation of the contact acoustic nonlinearity,the microcrack itself can be deemed as the secondary sound source and it will radiate the Lamb waves of new combined frequencies.Based on the time of flight of the generated A0 mode at difference frequency,an indicator named normalized amplitude index(NAI)is defined to directly locate the multi-microcracks in the given plate.It is found that the number and location of the microcracks can be intuitively visualized by using the NAI based frequency-mixing technique.It is also demonstrated that the proposed frequency mixing technique is a promising approach for the microcrack localization.  相似文献

Measurement of the scattering of a Lamb wave by a through hole in a plate   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Flexural waves propagating in an aluminum plate containing a circular hole are studied. In the experiments the first antisymmetric Lamb wave mode A0 is excited selectively by a piezoelectric transducer. The scattered field around a circular cavity is measured pointwise using a heterodyne laser interferometer. The measurements are compared with theoretical calculations. Different approximate analytical approaches, employing Kirchhoff and Mindlin types of plate theories to describe the scattered field, are used. Good agreement between the experimental data and the analytical solutions is found within the ranges of validity of the different models. Introduction of a small imperfection, like a notch, at the boundary of the cavity changes the measured scattered field  相似文献
