Let N ≥ 5 and \({{\mathcal{D}}^{2,2} (\mathbb{R}^N)}\) denote the closure of \({C_0^\infty (\mathbb{R}^N)}\) in the norm \({\|u\|_{{\mathcal{D}}^{2,2} (\mathbb{R}^N)}^2 := \int\nolimits_{\mathbb{R}^N} |\Delta u|^2.}\) Let \({K \in C^2 (\mathbb{R}^N).}\) We consider the following problem for ? ≥ 0: $$(P_\varepsilon) \left\{\begin{array}{llll}{\rm Find} \, u \in {\mathcal{D}}^{2, 2} (\mathbb{R}^N) \, \, {\rm solving} :\\ \left.\begin{array}{lll}\Delta^2 u = (1+ \varepsilon K (x)) u^{\frac{N+4}{N-4}}\\ u > 0 \end{array}\right\}{\rm in} \, \mathbb{R}^N.\end{array}\right.$$ We show an exact multiplicity result for (P ? ) for all small ? > 0.  相似文献

In this paper, we prove the Hyers–Ulam stability theorem when \({f, g, h : \mathbb{R} \to \mathbb{R}}\) satisfy $$|f(x + y) - g(x) - h(y)| \leq \epsilon$$ in a set \({\Gamma \subset \mathbb{R}^{2}}\) of measure \({m(\Gamma) = 0}\) , which refines a previous result in Chung (Aequat Math 83:313–320, 2012) and gives an affirmative answer to the question in the paper. As a direct consequence we obtain that if \({f, g, h : \mathbb{R} \to \mathbb{R}}\) satisfy the Pexider equation $$f(x + y) - g(x) - h(y) = 0$$ in \({\Gamma}\) , then the equation holds for all \({x, y \in \mathbb{R}}\) . Using our method of construction of the set, we can find a set \({\Gamma \subset \mathbb{R}^{2n}}\) of 2n-dimensional measure 0 and obtain the above result for the functions \({f, g, h : \mathbb{R}^{n} \to \mathbb{C}}\) .  相似文献

Let ${{\mathbb H}_n, n \geq 1}$ , be the near 2n-gon defined on the 1-factors of the complete graph on 2n?+?2 vertices, and let e denote the absolutely universal embedding of ${{\mathbb H}_n}$ into PG(W), where W is a ${\frac{1}{n+2} \left(\begin{array}{c}2n+2 \\ n+1\end{array}\right)}$ -dimensional vector space over the field ${{\mathbb F}_2}$ with two elements. For every point z of ${{\mathbb H}_n}$ and every ${i \in {\mathbb N}}$ , let Δ i (z) denote the set of points of ${{\mathbb H}_n}$ at distance i from z. We show that for every pair {x, y} of mutually opposite points of ${{\mathbb H}_n, W}$ can be written as a direct sum ${W_0 \oplus W_1 \oplus \cdots \oplus W_n}$ such that the following four properties hold for every ${i \in \{0,\ldots,n \}}$ : (1) ${\langle e(\Delta_i(x) \cap \Delta_{n-i}(y)) \rangle = {\rm PG}(W_i)}$ ; (2) ${\left\langle e \left( \bigcup_{j \leq i} \Delta_j(x) \right) \right\rangle = {\rm PG}(W_0 \oplus W_1 \oplus \cdots \oplus W_i)}$ ; (3) ${\left\langle e \left( \bigcup_{j \leq i} \Delta_j(y) \right) \right\rangle = {\rm PG}(W_{n-i}\oplus W_{n-i+1} \oplus \cdots \oplus W_n)}$ ; (4) ${\dim(W_i) = |\Delta_i(x) \cap \Delta_{n-i}(y)| = \left(\begin{array}{c}n \\ i\end{array}\right)^2 - \left(\begin{array}{c}n \\ i-1\end{array}\right) \cdot \left(\begin{array}{c}n \\ i+1\end{array}\right)}$ .  相似文献

We introduce vanishing generalized Morrey spaces ${V\mathcal{L}^{p,\varphi}_\Pi (\Omega), \Omega \subseteq \mathbb{R}^n}$ with a general function ${\varphi(x, r)}$ defining the Morrey-type norm. Here ${\Pi \subseteq \Omega}$ is an arbitrary subset in Ω including the extremal cases ${\Pi = \{x_0\}, x_0 \in \Omega}$ and Π = Ω, which allows to unify vanishing local and global Morrey spaces. In the spaces ${V\mathcal{L}^{p,\varphi}_\Pi (\mathbb{R}^n)}$ we prove the boundedness of a class of sublinear singular operators, which includes Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator and Calderon-Zygmund singular operators with standard kernel. We also prove a Sobolev-Spanne type ${V\mathcal{L}^{p,\varphi}_\Pi (\mathbb{R}^n) \rightarrow V\mathcal{L}^{q,\varphi^\frac{q}{p}}_\Pi (\mathbb{R}^n)}$ -theorem for the potential operator I α . The conditions for the boundedness are given in terms of Zygmund-type integral inequalities on ${\varphi(x, r)}$ . No monotonicity type condition is imposed on ${\varphi(x, r)}$ . In case ${\varphi}$ has quasi- monotone properties, as a consequence of the main results, the conditions of the boundedness are also given in terms of the Matuszeska-Orlicz indices of the function ${\varphi}$ . The proofs are based on pointwise estimates of the modulars defining the vanishing spaces  相似文献

Homotopy methods are used to find sufficient conditions for the solvability of nonlinear boundary value problems of the form $$(\phi(u^\prime))^\prime = f(t, u, u^\prime), \quad g(u(\alpha), \phi(u^\prime(\beta))) = 0,$$ where (α, β) = (0, 1), (1, 0), (0, 0) or (1, 1), ${\phi}$ is a homeomorphism from the open ball ${B(a) \subset \mathbb{R}^n}$ onto ${\mathbb{R}^n}$ , f is a Carathéodory function, ${g : \mathbb{R}^n \times \, \mathbb{R}^n \rightarrow \mathbb{R}^m}$ is continuous and m ≤ 2n.  相似文献

Applying the boundedness on weighted Lebesgue spaces of the maximal singular integral operator S * related to the Carleson?CHunt theorem on almost everywhere convergence, we study the boundedness and compactness of pseudodifferential operators a(x, D) with non-regular symbols in ${L^\infty(\mathbb{R}, V(\mathbb{R})), PC(\overline{\mathbb{R}}, V(\mathbb{R}))}$ and ${\Lambda_\gamma(\mathbb{R}, V_d(\mathbb{R}))}$ on the weighted Lebesgue spaces ${L^p(\mathbb{R},w)}$ , with 1?< p <? ?? and ${w\in A_p(\mathbb{R})}$ . The Banach algebras ${L^\infty(\mathbb{R}, V(\mathbb{R}))}$ and ${PC(\overline{\mathbb{R}}, V(\mathbb{R}))}$ consist, respectively, of all bounded measurable or piecewise continuous ${V(\mathbb{R})}$ -valued functions on ${\mathbb{R}}$ where ${V(\mathbb{R})}$ is the Banach algebra of all functions on ${\mathbb{R}}$ of bounded total variation, and the Banach algebra ${\Lambda_\gamma(\mathbb{R}, V_d(\mathbb{R}))}$ consists of all Lipschitz ${V_d(\mathbb{R})}$ -valued functions of exponent ${\gamma \in (0,1]}$ on ${\mathbb{R}}$ where ${V_d(\mathbb{R})}$ is the Banach algebra of all functions on ${\mathbb{R}}$ of bounded variation on dyadic shells. Finally, for the Banach algebra ${\mathfrak{A}_{p,w}}$ generated by all pseudodifferential operators a(x, D) with symbols ${a(x, \lambda) \in PC(\overline{\mathbb{R}}, V(\mathbb{R}))}$ on the space ${L^p(\mathbb{R}, w)}$ , we construct a non-commutative Fredholm symbol calculus and give a Fredholm criterion for the operators ${A \in \mathfrak{A}_{p,w}}$ .  相似文献

This paper concerns the existence and asymptotic characterization of saddle solutions in ${\mathbb {R}^{3}}$ for semilinear elliptic equations of the form $$-\Delta u + W'(u) = 0,\quad (x, y, z) \in {\mathbb {R}^{3}} \qquad\qquad\qquad (0.1)$$ where ${W \in \mathcal{C}^{3}(\mathbb {R})}$ is a double well symmetric potential, i.e. it satisfies W(?s) =  W(s) for ${s \in \mathbb {R},W(s) > 0}$ for ${s \in (-1,1)}$ , ${W(\pm 1) = 0}$ and ${W''(\pm 1) > 0}$ . Denoted with ${\theta_{2}}$ the saddle planar solution of (0.1), we show the existence of a unique solution ${\theta_{3} \in {\mathcal{C}^{2}}(\mathbb {R}^{3})}$ which is odd with respect to each variable, symmetric with respect to the diagonal planes, verifies ${0 < \theta_{3}(x,y,z) < 1}$ for x, y, z >  0 and ${\theta_{3}(x, y, z) \to_{z \to + \infty} \theta_{2}(x, y)}$ uniformly with respect to ${(x, y) \in \mathbb {R}^{2}}$ .  相似文献

We derive the inequality $$\int_\mathbb{R}M(|f'(x)|h(f(x))) dx\leq C(M,h)\int_\mathbb{R}M\left({\sqrt{|f''(x)\tau_h(f(x))|}\cdot h(f(x))}\right)dx$$ with a constant C(M, h) independent of f, where f belongs locally to the Sobolev space ${W^{2,1}(\mathbb{R})}$ and f′ has compact support. Here M is an arbitrary N-function satisfying certain assumptions, h is a given function and ${\tau_h(\cdot)}$ is its given transform independent of M. When M(λ) =  λ p and ${h \equiv 1}$ we retrieve the well-known inequality ${\int_\mathbb{R}|f'(x)|^{p}dx \leq (\sqrt{p - 1})^{p}\int_\mathbb{R}(\sqrt{|f''(x) f(x)|})^{p}dx}$ . We apply our inequality to obtain some generalizations of capacitary estimates and isoperimetric inequalities due to Maz’ya (1985).  相似文献

In this note we prove the following: Let n?≥ 2 be a fixed integer. A system of additive functions ${A_{1},A_{2},\ldots,A_{n}:\mathbb{R} \to\mathbb{R}}$ is linearly dependent (as elements of the ${\mathbb{R}}$ vector space ${\mathbb{R}^{\mathbb{R}}}$ ), if and only if, there exists an indefinite quadratic form ${Q:\mathbb{R}^{n}\to\mathbb{R} }$ such that ${Q(A_{1}(x),A_{2}(x),\ldots,A_{n}(x))\geq 0}$ or ${Q(A_{1}(x),A_{2}(x),\ldots,A_{n}(x))\leq 0}$ holds for all ${x\in\mathbb{R}}$ .  相似文献

We consider weak solutions ${u \in u_0 + W^{1,2}_0(\Omega,\mathbb{R}^N) \cap L^{\infty}(\Omega,\mathbb{R}^N)}$ of second-order nonlinear elliptic systems of the type $$- {\rm div} \,a (\, \cdot \,, u, Du ) = b(\, \cdot \,,u,Du)\qquad \text{ in }\Omega$$ with an inhomogeneity satisfying a natural growth condition. In dimensions ${n \in \{2,3,4\}}$ , we show that ${\mathcal{H}^{n-1}}$ -almost every boundary point is a regular point for Du, provided that the boundary data and the coefficients are sufficiently smooth.  相似文献

We study bound states of the following nonlinear Schr?dinger equation in the presence of a magnetic field: $$ \left\{\begin{array}{l} \left(-i\hbar\nabla+A(x)\right)^2u+V(x)u=g(x,|u|)u \\ |u|\in H^1(\mathbb{R}^N) \end{array} \right. $$ where ${A: \mathbb{R}^N\to\mathbb{R}^N, V: \mathbb{R}^N\to\mathbb{R}}$ and ${g: \mathbb{R}^N\times\mathbb{R}\to [0,\infty)}$ . We prove that if V is bounded below with the set ${\{x\in\mathbb{R}^N: V(x) < b\}\not=\emptyset}$ having finite measure for some b?>?0, inf V???0, and g satisfies some growth conditions, then for any integer m when ${\hbar >0 }$ is sufficiently small the problem has m geometrically different solutions.  相似文献

A double line ${C \subset \mathbb{P}^3}$ is a connected divisor of type (2, 0) on a smooth quadric surface. Fix ${(a, c) \in \mathbb{N}^2\ \backslash\ \{(0, 0)\}}$ . Let ${X \subset \mathbb{P}^3}$ be a general disjoint union of a lines and c double lines. Then X has maximal rank, i.e. for each ${t \in \mathbb{Z}}$ either ${h^1(\mathcal{I}_X(t)) = 0}$ or ${h^0(\mathcal{I}_X(t)) = 0}$ .  相似文献

We study the semi-classical ground states of the nonlinear Maxwell–Dirac system: $$\begin{aligned} \left\{ \begin{array}{l} \alpha \cdot \left( i\hbar \nabla + q(x)\mathbf{A }(x)\right) w-a\beta w -\omega w - q(x)\phi (x) w = P(x)g(\left| w\right| ) w\\ -\Delta \phi =q(x)\left| w\right| ^2\\ -\Delta {A_k}=q(x)(\alpha _k w)\cdot \bar{w}\ \ \ \ k=1,2,3 \end{array} \right. \end{aligned}$$ for \(x\in \mathbb{R }^3\) , where \(\mathbf{A }\) is the magnetic field, \(\phi \) is the electron field and \(q\) describes the changing pointwise charge distribution. We develop a variational method to establish the existence of least energy solutions for \(\hbar \) small. We also describe the concentration behavior of the solutions as \(\hbar \rightarrow 0\) .  相似文献

We obtain the boundedness on ˙Fα,qp(Rn) for the Poisson summation and Gauss summation. Their maximal operators are proved to be bounded from˙Fα,qp(Rn) to L∞(Rn).For the maximal operator of the Bochner-Riesz summation, we prove that it is bounded from˙Fα,qp(Rn) to Lpnn-pα,∞(Rn).  相似文献

Planar near-rings are generalized rings which can serve as coordinate domains for geometric structures in which each pair of nonparallel lines has a unique point of intersection. It is known that all planar nearrings can be constructed from regular groups of automorphisms of groups which can be viewed as the “action groups” of the planar nearring. In this article, we study planar nearrings whose additive group is \({(\mathbb{R}^n,+)}\) , in particular, n = 1 and 2. It is natural to study topological planar nearrings in this context, following ideas of the late Kenneth D. Magill, Jr. In the case of n = 1, we characterize all topological planar nearrings by their action groups \({(\mathbb{R}^*, \cdot)}\) or \({(\mathbb{R}^+, \cdot)}\) . For n = 2, these action groups and the circle group \({(\mathbb{U}, \cdot)}\) seem to be the most interesting cases, but the last case can be excluded completely. As a consequence, we obtain characterizations of the semi-homogeneous continuous mappings from \({\mathbb{R}^n}\) to \({\mathbb{R}}\) for n = 1 and 2. Such a mapping f enjoys the property that f(f(u)v) = f(u)f(v) for all \({u,v \in \mathbb{R}^n}\) . When \({f(\mathbb{R}^n) = \mathbb{R}^+}\) , f is a positive homogeneous mapping of degree 1.  相似文献

Of concern is the nonlinear hyperbolic problem with nonlinear dynamic boundary conditions $$\left\{ \begin{array}{lll} u_{tt} ={\rm div} (\mathcal{A} \nabla u)-\gamma (x,u_t), && \quad {\rm in} \; (0, \infty) \times \Omega,\\ u(0, \cdot)=f, \, u_t(0,\cdot)=g, && \quad {\rm in}\; \Omega, \\ u_{tt} + \beta \partial^ \mathcal{A}_\nu u+c(x)u+ \delta (x,u_t)-q \beta \Lambda_{\rm LB} u=0,&& \quad {\rm on} \;(0, \infty ) \times \partial \Omega . \end{array}\right. $$ for t ≥  0 and ${x \in \Omega \subset \mathbb{R}^N}$ ; the last equation holds on the boundary . Here ${\mathcal{A}= \{a_{ij}(x)\}_{ij}}$ is a real, hermitian, uniformly positive definite N × N matrix; ${\beta \in C(\partial \Omega)}$ , with β > 0; ${\gamma:\Omega \times \mathbb{R} \to \mathbb{R}; \delta:\partial \Omega \times \mathbb{R} \to \mathbb{R}; \,c:\partial \Omega \to \mathbb{R}; \, q \ge 0, \Lambda_{\rm LB}}$ is the Laplace–Beltrami operator on , and ${\partial^\mathcal{A}_\nu u}$ is the conormal derivative of u with respect to ${\mathcal{A}}$ ; everything is sufficiently regular. We prove explicit stability estimates of the solution u with respect to the coefficients ${\mathcal{A},\,\beta,\,\gamma,\,\delta,\,c,\,q}$ , and the initial conditions fg. Our arguments cover the singular case of a problem with q = 0 which is approximated by problems with positive q.  相似文献

In this paper we deal with local estimates for parabolic problems in ${\mathbb{R}^N}$ with absorbing first order terms, whose model is $$\left\{\begin{array}{l@{\quad}l}u_t- \Delta u +u |\nabla u|^q = f(t,x) \quad &{\rm in}\, (0,T) \times \mathbb{R}^N\,,\\u(0,x)= u_0 (x) &{\rm in}\, \mathbb{R}^N \,,\quad\end{array}\right.$$ where ${T >0 , \, N\geq 2,\, 1 < q \leq 2,\, f(t,x)\in L^1\left( 0,T; L^1_{\rm loc} \left(\mathbb{R}^N\right)\right)}$ and ${u_0\in L^1_{\rm loc}\left(\mathbb{R}^{N}\right)}$ .  相似文献
