AUTOMORPHISMS OF SL (2, K) OVER SKEW FIELDS

In this paper, the author proves the following resu: It Let K be a skew field and A be an automorphism of SL(2, K). Then there exists A∈GL(2, K), an automorphism σ or an anti-automorphism τ of K, such that A is of theform AX=AX~σA~(-1) for all X∈SL(2, K)or AX=A(X~τ~2)~(-1)A~(-1) for all X∈SL(2, K),where X~σ, X~τ are the matrices obtained by applying σ, τ on X respee tively and X' is thetranspose of X.

《中学数学》1984年第三期刊登了题为“解方程、(2+(2+(2+x)~(1/2))~(1/2))~(1/2)=2所想到的”*一文,介绍了方程(a±(a±…±(a±x)~(1/2))~(1/2))~(1/2)=x与方程x=(x±a)~(1/2)等价性的证明及其应用。读完此文后,颇受启发,但笔者总认为有点不同的看法,下面提出与同志们讨论,并兼与该文作者商榷。作者在“探求方程(2+(2+(2+x)~(1/2))~(1/2))~(1/2)=2的特殊解法时,联想到方程     

THE AUTOMORPHISMS OF NON-DEFECTIVE ORTHOGONAL GROUPS IN CHARACTERISTIC 2

Let V be a non-defective n-dimensional quadratic space over a field F of characteristic2.In this paper we prove that,when n≥6 with n≠8 and F≠F_2,any automorphism ofΩ(V)orO'(V)has the standard type Φ_g,sending σ to gσg~(-1),where g is a semilinearautomorphism of V which preserves the quadratic structure.Therefore the automorphismgroups Aut Ω(V) and Aut O'(V)are isomorphic to PΓO(V).As a corollary,Aut O(V)and Aut O~+(V) are isomorphic to PΓO(V)as well.     

函数y=((x±d)~2+a)~(1/2)+((c-x)~2+b)~(1/2)的极小值

本刊1983年增刊中曾发表过关于求函数y=(x~2+a)~(1/2)+((c-x)~2+b)~(1/2))的极小值的一篇文章,该文介绍了一种几何方法,的确比判别式法和导数法简捷。但该文的形式较特殊,在应用中受到一定的限制。为了得到一般的形式,本文在其基础上作些改进,使它的应用范围更加广泛。     

J_1与PSL_2(2~n)的特征性质

用“阶”的概念刻划有限单群由来已久.近年来,又有不少作者做了这方面的工作.但这些刻划都用了群的单性和其他一些概念.在这篇短文中,我们继续以前的讨论,只用“群的阶”和“元的阶”这两个最简单的概念对小Janko单群J_1进行刻划,得出J_1的特征性质是(本文所讨论的群恒为有限):

Let V be a non-defective 8-dimensional quadratic space over a field F of characteristic2,F≠F_2.We prove that if there is an exceptional automorphism of either Ω_8(V)orO'_8(V),then V~a has a Cayley algebra structure for some a in .Moreover,everyexceptional automorphism of O'_8(V)as exactly one of the following forms:_1°Φ_g or 2°Φ_g,where Φ_g is an automorphism of O'_8(V)given by conjugation by a semilinear automorphismof V which preserves the quadratic structure,and _1 and _2 are the automorphismsinduced by triality principle.Every exceptional automorphism of Ω_8(V)is the restrictionof a unique exceptional automorphism of O'_8(V).     

应用(a±b)~2=a~2±2ab+b~2速算整数的平方

熟记11～25各整数的平方,是速算整数平方的基础。因而本文是在能熟记11～25各整数平方的基础上展开讨论的。一 25～100各整数的平方 1° 25～75各整数的平方 25～50的二位数可表示为50-a(a∈Z,且a≤25),a叫做该二位数对于50的补数; 50～75的二位数可表示为50+a(a∈Z,且a≤25),a叫做该二位数对于50的过数。 (50±a)~2,=50~2±2×50·a+a~2=2500±100a+a~2=(25±a)×100+a~2=〔(50±a)-25〕×100+a~2。上式说明:求25～75各整数的平方,可先求该数与25之差的100倍,再加上补数或过数的平方。     

用x~(1/2)±y~(1/2)=(x y±(2xy~(1/2)))~(1/2)解题

公式若注意其特点,巧解妙证一些题,真是别有情趣。例1 求函数f(x)=1-cos2x 1 cos2x~(1/2)的最小正周期。解由(＊)得解由a在二象限知sina>0, cosa<0 由(＊)得原式=2 2cosa~(1/2) 1-sina~(1/2)-1 sina~(1/2)     

论二次域 K((±2)~(1/2))内整数β有原根存在的条件

1°设 Z 是整数环,m∈Z,m≥1;Z_m 表示商环;Z/(m)={[0],[1],…,[m-1]}的加法群,Φ_z(m)表示所有与 m 互质剩余类作成的乘群;(?)z(m)表示欧拉函数,(?)z(m)=|(?)z(m)|。由[1](或[2])知:Φz(m)是循环群(?)m 的原根存在(?)m=2、4、p~n(p 为单质数)及2p~n.当把同构的群看作是等同的(下同),于是有:Φ_z(2)=Z_1,Φ_z(4)=Z_2,Φ_z(2~n)=Z_(2~(n-2))×Z_2(n≥3),(?)_z(2p~n)=Φ_z(p~n)=Z_(p~n-p~(n-1)).     

用(sinα±cosα)~2=1±2sinαcosα解题

由平方关系sin2α+cos2α=1不难得到(sinα±cosα)2=1±2sinαcosα.它揭示了sinα+cosα、sinα-cosα、sinαcosα三者之间的密切关系,知其一必能求出另二.在一些解方程、求最值问题中,恰当运用此关系有助于简化运算、发现解题途径.例1已知sinα+cosα=1/5(0<α<π),求tanα的值.分析本题可先求出sinα-cosα的值,再和sinα+cosα=15联立方程组求出sinα,cosα     

~2B_2(K)的生成元、关系式和覆盖(英文)

本文用生成元、关系式构造了任意域K上扭Chevalley单群~2B_2(K)的泛中心扩张.(域K=GF(2~3)除外)当域K为GF(2~5)的代数扩域时,证明了~2B_2(K)的Schur乘子是平凡的.     

谈根式(m±n~(1/2))~(1/2)的化简

在运算中经常会遇到形如ｍ± ｎ的根式(其中ｍ、ｎ∈Ｑ+,且ｎ是无理数 ) ,有的能化简为两个二次根式的和或差 ,即ｍ±ｎ =Ａ±Ｂ(Ａ、Ｂ∈Ｑ+) ,那么ｍ、ｎ满足什么条件才能化简为上述形式 ?结果与ｍ、ｎ又有何关系 ?本文就此问题作一粗浅探讨 .引理 1　设ｍ、ｎ∈Ｑ ,ｃ是无理数 ,则ｍｃ=ｎ的充要条件是ｍ =ｎ =0 .证明　充分性显然成立 .必要性　如果ｍ ≠ 0 ,则有 ｃ=ｎｍ① ,因为ｃ是无理数 ,ｍ、ｎ∈Ｑ ,所以①式不成立 .因此只有ｍ =0 ,于是可得ｍ =ｎ =0 .根据引理 1 ,我们进一步可以得到下面的结论 .引理 2　设ｎ是无理数 ,ａ ,ｂ ,…

化简(a±b~(1/2))~(1/2)的一种方法

把(a±b~(1/2))~(1/2)化简。但这个公式比较难记,化简又繁,且容易弄错。在教学实践中,我认为采用下面方法较为简便。     

根式(A±(B~(1/2)))~(1/n)的化简

本文给出根式■与■及其和、差■与■的化简方法,揭示出化简这类根式与解n次方程的内在联系。设,则u_u~(?)+v~n=2A,uv=(A~2-B)~(1/n)。根据对称式的基本性质(见文[1]),对称式u~n+v~n可用基本对称式(u+v)和(uv)的一个n次多项式表示,即
