Using bamboo‐activated charcoal as SPE adsorbent, a novel SPE method was developed for the sensitive determination of tetrabromobisphenol A and bisphenol A in environmental water samples by rapid‐resolution LC‐ESI‐MS/MS. Important parameters influencing extraction efficiency, including type of eluent, eluent volume, sample pH, volume and flow rate, were investigated and optimized. Under the optimal extraction conditions (eluent: 8 mL methanol, pH: 7; flow rate: 4 mL/min; sample volume: 100 mL), low LODs (0.01–0.02 ng/mL), good repeatability (6.2–8.3%) and wide linearity range (0.10–10 ng/mL) were obtained. Satisfied results were achieved when the proposed method was applied to determine the two target compounds in real‐world environmental water samples with spiked recoveries over the range of 80.5–119.8%. All these facts indicate that trace determination of tetrabromobisphenol A and bisphenol A in real‐world environmental water samples can be realized by bamboo‐activated charcoal SPE‐rapid resolution‐LC‐ESI‐MS/MS.  相似文献

An optimized method for the determination of five synthetic polycyclic: celestolide (ADBI), phantolide (AHMI), traseolide (ATII), galaxolide (HHCB), tonalide (AHTN), and two nitro‐aromatic musks: musk xylene (MX) and musk ketone (MK), in water samples is described. The method involves a dispersive micro solid‐phase extraction (D‐μ‐SPE) plus ultrasound‐assisted solvent desorption (UASD) prior to their determination by gas chromatography‐mass spectrometry (GC‐MS) using the selected ion storage (SIS) mode. Factors affecting the extraction efficiency of the target analytes from water samples and ultrasound‐assisted solvent desorption were optimized by a Box‐Behnken design method. The optimal extraction conditions involved immersing 10.1 mg of a typical octadecyl (C18) bonded silica adsorbent (i.e., ENVI‐18) in a 50 mL water sample. After 10.4 min of extraction by vigorously shaking, the adsorbent was collected and dried on a filter, and the target musks were desorbed by ultrasound‐assisted for 38 sec with n‐hexane (200 μL) as the desorption solvent. A 10 μL aliquot was then directly determined by large‐volume injection GC‐MS. The limits of quantitation (LOQs) were 1.2 to 5 ng/L. The precision for these analytes, as indicated by relative standard deviations (RSDs), were less than 11% for both intra‐ and inter‐day analysis. Accuracy, expressed as the mean extraction recovery, was between 74% and 92%. A preliminary analysis of the effluents from municipal wastewater treatment plants (MWTP) and river water samples revealed that HHCB and AHTN were the two most commonly detected synthetic musks; their concentration were determined to range from 88 to 690 ng/L for effluent samples, and 5 to 320 ng/L for river water samples. This is a simple, low cost, effective, and eco‐friendly analytical method.  相似文献

This study presents the atmospheric pressure photoionization (APPI) of high‐chlorinated (five or more chlorine atoms) polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) using toluene as dopant, after liquid chromatographic separation. Mass spectra of PCB 101, 118, 138, 153, 180, 199, 206 and 209 were recorded by using liquid chromatography‐APPI‐tandem mass spectrometry (LC‐APPI‐MS/MS) in negative ion full scan mode. Intense peaks appeared at m/z that correspond to [M ? Cl + O]? ions, where M is the analyte molecule. Furthermore, a detailed strategy, which includes designs of experiments, for the development and optimization of LC‐APPI‐MS/MS methods is described. Following this strategy, a sensitive and accurate method with low instrumental limits of detection, ranging from 0.29 pg for PCB 209 to 8.3 pg for PCB 101 on column, was developed. For the separation of the analytes, a Waters XSELECT HSS T3 (100 mm × 2.1 mm, 2.5 µm) column was used with methanol/water as elution system. This method was applied for the determination of the above PCBs in water samples (surface water, tap water and treated wastewater). For the extraction of PCBs from water samples, a simple liquid–liquid extraction with dichloromethane was used. Method limits of quantification, ranged from 4.8 ng l?1, for PCB 199, to 9.4 ng l?1, for PCB 180, and the recoveries ranged from 73%, for PCB 101, to 96%, for PCB 199. The estimated analytical figures were appropriate for trace analysis of high‐chlorinated PCBs in real samples. Copyright © 2014 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

A rapid dispersive micro‐solid phase extraction (D‐μ‐SPE) combined with LC/MS/MS method was developed and validated for the determination of ketoconazole and voriconazole in human urine and plasma samples. Synthesized mesoporous silica MCM‐41 was used as sorbent in d ‐μ‐SPE of the azole compounds from biological fluids. Important D‐μ‐SPE parameters, namely type desorption solvent, extraction time, sample pH, salt addition, desorption time, amount of sorbent and sample volume were optimized. Liquid chromatographic separations were carried out on a Zorbax SB‐C18 column (2.1 × 100 mm, 3.5 μm), using a mobile phase of acetonitrile–0.05% formic acid in 5 mm ammonium acetate buffer (70:30, v /v). A triple quadrupole mass spectrometer with positive ionization mode was used for the determination of target analytes. Under the optimized conditions, the calibration curves showed good linearity in the range of 0.1–10,000 μg/L with satisfactory limit of detection (≤0.06 μg/L) and limit of quantitation (≤0.3 μg/L). The proposed method also showed acceptable intra‐ and inter‐day precisions for ketoconazole and voriconazole from urine and human plasma with RSD ≤16.5% and good relative recoveries in the range 84.3–114.8%. The MCM‐41‐D‐μ‐SPE method proved to be rapid and simple and requires a small volume of organic solvent (200 μL); thus it is advantageous for routine drug analysis.  相似文献

An ultrasound‐assisted magnetic solid‐phase extraction procedure with chloromethylated polystyrene‐coated Fe3O4 nanospheres as magnetic adsorbents has been developed to determine eight phthalate esters (bis(4‐methyl‐2‐pentyl) phthalate, dipentyl phthalate, dihexyl phthalate, benzyl butyl phthalate, bis(2‐butoxyethyl) phthalate, dicyclohexyl phthalate, di‐n‐octyl phthalate, and dinonyl phthalate) simultaneously in beverage samples, in combination with gas chromatography coupled to tandem mass spectrometry for the first time. Several factors related to magnetic solid‐phase extraction efficiencies, such as amount of adsorbent, extracting time, ionic strength, and desorption conditions were investigated. The enrichment factors of the method for the eight analytes were over 2482. A good linearity was observed in the range of 10–500 ng/L for bis(2‐butoxyethyl) phthalate and 2–500 ng/L for the other phthalate esters with correlation coefficients ranging from 0.9980 to 0.9998. The limits of detection and quantification for the eight phthalate esters were in the range of 0.20–2.90 and 0.67–9.67 ng/L, respectively. The mean recoveries at three spiked levels were 75.8–117.7%, the coefficients of variations were <11.6%. The proposed method was demonstrated to be a simple and efficient technique for the trace analysis of the phthalate esters in beverage samples.  相似文献

A rapid, sensitive and rugged solid‐phase extraction ultra performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC‐MS/MS) method was developed for determination of paroxetine in human plasma. The procedure for sample preparation includes simple SPE extraction procedure coupled with Hypersil Gold C18 column (100 mm ? 2.1 mm, i.d., 1.9 μm) with isocratic elution at a flow‐rate of 0.350 mL/min and fluoxetine was used as the internal standard. The analysis was performed on a triple‐quadrupole tandem mass spectrometer by multiple reactions monitoring mode via electrospray ionization. Using 500 μL plasma, the methods were validated over the concentration range 0.050–16.710 ng/mL for paroxetine, with a lower limit of quantification of 0.050 ng/mL. The intra‐ and inter‐day precision and accuracy of the quality control samples were within 10.0%. The recovery was 69.2 and 74.4% for paroxetine and fluoxetine respectively. Total run time was only 1.9 min. The method was highly reproducible and gave peaks with excellent chromatography properties. Copyright © 2009 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

A magnetic solid‐phase extraction method coupled with gas chromatography was proposed for the determination of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in the environmental water samples. The magnetic adsorbent was prepared by incorporating Fe3O4 nanoparticles, multi‐walled carbon nanotubes, and polypyrrole. The main factors affecting the extraction efficiency including the amount of the sorbents, desorption conditions, extraction time, salt concentration, and sample solution pH were investigated and optimized. Under the optimum conditions, good linearity was obtained within the range of 0.03?100 ng/mL for all analytes, with correlation coefficients ranging from 0.9942 to 0.9973. The method detection limits (S/N = 3) were in the range of 0.01–0.04 ng/mL and the limits of quantification (S/N = 10) were 0.03–0.1 ng/mL. Repeatability of the method was assessed through five consecutive extractions of independently prepared solutions at concentrations of 0.1, 10, and 100 ng/mL of the compounds. The observed repeatability ranged 3.4–10.9% depending of the compound considered. The proposed method was successfully applied in the analysis of PAHs in environmental samples (tap, well, river, and wastewater). The recoveries of the method ranged between 93.4 and 99.0%. The procedure proved to be efficient and environmentally friendly.  相似文献

A highly sensitive method using reduced graphene oxide with iron oxide (rGO/Fe3O4) as the sorbent in magnetic SPE has been developed for the purification of five anthraquinones (emodin, rhein, aloeemodin, physcion, and chrysophanol) in rhubarb and rat urine by ultra‐HPLC coupled with quadrupole TOF/MS. The extraction was accomplished by adding trace amount rGO/Fe3O4 suspension to 200 mL of aqueous mixture, and the excellent adsorption capacity of the nanoparticles was fully demonstrated in this procedure. Under the optimized conditions, the calibration curves were linear in the concentration range of 0.05–27.77 ng/mL with correlation coefficients varying from 0.9902 to 0.9978. The LODs ranged from 0.28 to 58.99 pg/mL. The experimental results indicated that the proposed method was feasible for the analysis of anthraquinones in rhubarb and urine samples.  相似文献

An adsorbent of carbon dot@poly(glycidyl methacrylate)@Fe3O4 nanoparticles has been developed for the microwave‐assisted magnetic solid‐phase extraction of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in environmental aqueous samples prior to high‐performance liquid chromatography with UV/visible spectroscopy detection. Poly(glycidyl methacrylate) was synthesized by atom transfer radical polymerization. The chain length and amount of carbon dots attached on them can be easily controlled through changing polymerization conditions, which contributes to tunable extraction performance. The successful fabrication of the nano‐adsorbent was confirmed by transmission electronic microscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy and vibrating sample magnetometry. The extraction performance of the adsorbent was evaluated by using polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons as model analytes. The key factors influencing the extraction, such as microwave power, adsorption time, desorption time and desorption solvents were investigated in detail. Under the optimal conditions, the microwave‐assisted method afforded magnetic solid‐phase extraction with short extraction time, wide dynamic linear range (0.02–200 μg/L), good linearity (R2 ≥ 98.57%) and low detection limits (20–90 ng/L) for model analytes. The adsorbent was successfully applied for analyzing polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in environmental aqueous samples and the recoveries were in the range of 86.0–124.2%. Thus, the proposed method is a promising candidate for fast and reliable preconcentration of trace polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in real water samples.  相似文献

A sensitive and reliable ultra‐high‐performance liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry (UHPLC–MS/MS) method was developed and validated for simultaneous determination of l ‐tetrahydropalmatine (l ‐THP) and its active metabolites l ‐isocorypalmine (l ‐ICP) and L ‐corydalmine (l ‐CD) in rat plasma. The analytes were extracted by liquid–liquid extraction and separated on a Bonshell ASB C18 column (2.1 × 100 mm; 2.7 μm; Agela) using acetonitrile–formic acid aqueous as mobile phase at a flow rate of 0.2 mL/min in gradient mode. The method was validated over the concentration range of 4.00–2500 ng/mL for l ‐THP, 0.400–250 ng/mL for l ‐ICP and 1.00–625 ng/mL for l ‐CD. Intra‐ and inter‐day accuracy and precision were within the acceptable limits of <15% at all concentrations. Correlation coefficients (r ) for the calibration curves were >0.99 for all analytes. The quantitative method was successfully applied for simultaneous determination of l ‐THP and its active metabolites in a pharmacokinetic study after oral administration with l ‐THP at a dose of 15 mg/kg to rats.  相似文献

A simple and economical method for the determination of eight polybrominated diphenyl ethers (BDE‐28, 47, 99, 100,153,154,183, and 209) in water was developed. This method involves the use of ultrasound‐assisted dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction combined with GC‐MS in negative chemical ionization mode. Various parameters affecting the extraction efficiency, including the type and volume of extraction and dispersive solvents, salt concentration, extraction time, and ultrasonic time, were investigated. A volume of 1.0 mL of acetone (dispersive solvent) containing 10 μL tetrachloroethylene (extraction solvent) was injected into 5.0 mL of water samples and then emulsified by ultrasound for 2.0 min to produce the cloudy solution. Under the optimal condition, the enrichment factors for the eight PBDEs were varied from 845‐ to 1050‐folds. Good linearity was observed in the range of 1.0–200 ng L?1 for BDE‐28, 47, 99, and 100; 5.0–200 ng L?1 for BDE‐153, 154, and 183; and 5.0–500 ng L?1 for BDE‐209. The RSD values were in the range of 2.5–8.4% (n = 5) and the LODs ranged from 0.40 to 2.15 ng L?1 (S/N = 3). The developed method was applied for the determination of eight BPDEs in the river and lake water samples, and the mean recoveries at spiking levels of 5.0 and 50.0 ng L?1 were in the range of 70.6–105.1%.  相似文献

In this work, a magnetic β‐cyclodextrin polymer was successfully prepared and used as an adsorbent for the magnetic solid‐phase extraction of six benzoylurea insecticides (diflubenzuron, triflumuron, hexaflumuron, teflubenzuron, flufenoxuron, and chlorfluazuron) from honey, tomato, and environmental water samples. The influence of the main experimental conditions on the extraction was studied. Under the optimized conditions, the β‐cyclodextrin polymer@Fe3O4 showed an excellent extraction performance for the benzoylurea insecticides. A good linearity was obtained for the analytes in the range of 3.0–800 ng/g for honey samples, 0.3–160 ng/g for tomato samples, and 0.1–80.0 ng/mL for water samples, with the correlation coefficients above 0.9998. Satisfactory repeatabilities were achieved, with the relative standard deviations less than 5.7%. The limits of detection (S/N = 3) of the method for the benzoylurea insecticides were 0.2–0.8 ng/g for honey samples, 0.04–0.10 ng/g for tomato samples, and 0.02–0.05 ng /mL for water samples. The method was successfully used for the determination of the six benzoylurea insecticides residues in honey, tomato, and environmental water samples with a satisfactory result.  相似文献

A extraction medium based on chitosan-poly(m-phenylenediamine) (CS-PPD) @Fe3O4 nanocomposite was synthesized by chemical polymerization of m-phenylenediamine in the presence of chitosan coated magnetic nanocomposite, and for the first time, used as the sorbent for the magnetic solid-phase extraction (MSPE) of seven polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB28, PCB52, PCB101, PCB118, PCB138, PCB153, and PCB180) at trace levels in water samples. Gas chromatography-triple quadrupole mass spectrometry (GC-MS/MS) was used for PCBs quantification and detection. Several factors related to MSPE efficiencies, such as type and amount of sorbent, extraction time, sample pH, and desorption conditions were investigated. Under the optimized conditions, an excellent linearity was observed in the range of 1.0–200 ng L–1 for PCB180, 0.5–200 ng L–1 for the other six PCBs with the correlation coefficients ranging from 0.9954 to 0.9993. The good recoveries at spiked levels of 10.0, 20.0, and 50.0 ng L–1 were obtained in the range of 94 %–108 %, and the coefficients of variations were less than 6 %. The proposed method was feasible, rapid, and easy to operate for the trace analysis of the PCBs in local aquaculture water, livestock breeding water, and sewage water samples. Graphical Abstract

Magnetic particles modified with a dicationic polymeric ionic liquid are described as a new adsorbent in magnetic solid‐phase extraction. They were obtained through the copolymerization of a 1,8‐di(3‐vinylimidazolium)octane‐based ionic liquid with vinyl‐modified SiO2@Fe3O4, and were characterized by FTIR spectroscopy, X‐ray diffraction, and vibrating sample magnetometry. The modified magnetic particles are effective in the extraction of organophosphate pesticides and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. Also, they can provide different extraction performance for the selected analytes including fenitrothion, parathion, fenthion, phoxim, phenanthrene, and fluoranthene, where the extraction efficiency is found to be in agreement with the hydrophobicity of analytes. Various factors influencing the extraction efficiency, such as, the amount of adsorbent, extraction, and desorption time, and type and volume of the desorption solvent, were optimized. Under the optimized conditions, a good linearity ranging from 1–100 μg/L is obtained for all analytes, except for parathion (2–200 μg/L), where the correlation coefficients varied from 0.9960 to 0.9998. The limits of detection are 0.2–0.8 μg/L, and intraday and interday relative standard deviations are 1.7–7.4% (n = 5) and 3.8–8.0% (n = 3), respectively. The magnetic solid‐phase extraction combined with high‐performance liquid chromatography can be applied for the detection of trace targets in real water samples with satisfactory relative recoveries and relative standard deviations.  相似文献

An optimized method using stir bar sorptive extraction (SBSE) for the determination of 25 polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) from water samples among them three of the most toxic coplanar PCBs (PCB 77, PCB 126 and PCB 169) was developed. Since the investigated PCBs comprise all steps of chlorination (from PCB 1 as monochlorobiphenyl to PCB 209 as decachlorobiphenyl) the results should be representative for the total class of the 209 PCB congeners. For 8 ml spiked water samples with 2 ml methanol addition and 2 h exposure time of stir bars recoveries between 28% (PCB 209) and 93% (PCB 1, PCB 52, PCB 77) were found. Detection limits between 0.05 ng/l and 0.15 ng/l were calculated for the combination of SBSE and thermodesorption-GC/MS. The procedure was applied to the investigation of groundwater and river water samples from the industrial region of Bitterfeld northern Leipzig, Germany.  相似文献

Atenolol, nadolol, metoprolol, bisoprolol and betaxolol were simultaneously determined in groundwater samples by large‐volume injection coupled‐column reversed‐phase liquid chromatography with fluorescence detection (LVI‐LC‐LC‐FD) and liquid chromatography‐time‐of‐flight mass spectrometry (LC‐TOF‐MS). The LVI‐LC‐LC‐FD method combines analyte isolation, preconcentration and determination into a single step. Significant reductions in costs for sample pre‐treatment (solvent and solid phases for clean up) and method development times are also achieved. Using LC‐TOF‐MS, accurate mass measurements within 3 ppm error were obtained for all of the β‐blockers studied. Empirical formula information can be obtained by this method, allowing the unequivocal identification of the target compounds in the samples. To increase the sensitivity, a solid‐phase extraction step with Oasis MCX cartridge was carried out yielding recoveries of 79–114% (n=5) with RSD 2–7% for the LC‐TOF‐MS method. SPE gives a high purification of β‐blockers compared with the existing methods. A 100% methanol wash was allowed for these compounds with no loss of analytes. Limit of quantification was 1–7 ng/L for LVI‐LC‐LC‐FD and 0.25–5 ng/L for LC‐TOF‐MS. As a result of selective extraction and effective removal of coextractives, no matrix effect was observed in LVI‐LC‐LC‐FD and LC‐TOF‐MS analyses. The methods were applied to detect and quantify β‐blockers in groundwater samples of Almería (Spain).  相似文献

A time‐saving method was applied to synthesize methyltrimethoxy‐modified magnetic mesoporous silica with or without p‐toluenesulfonic acid as the catalyst for magnetic solid‐phase extraction. The synthesized materials were systematically characterized. Results demonstrated that methyltrimethoxy modified magnetic mesoporous silica with p‐toluenesulfonic acid as the catalyst has a relatively smaller aperture and extreme hydrophobicity (water contact angle of 135°). To evaluate the feasibility of these prepared materials as effective adsorbents, it was combined with gas chromatography and electron capture detection to determine 26 polychlorinated biphenyls in environmental water. The result revealed that methyltrimethoxy modified magnetic mesoporous silica with p‐toluenesulfonic acid as the catalyst had the best extraction efficiency and recovery. Under the optimized extracted conditions, the proposed method showed good linearity within the concentration range of 5 to 200 ng/L with correlation coefficients of 0.9969 to 0.9999. The limits of detection and quantification based on signal‐to‐noise ratios of 3 and 10 were in the range of 0.16 to 0.91 and 0.52 to 3.0 ng/L, respectively. The polychlorinated biphenyl concentrations in environmental water samples were successfully determined using the developed method. PCB008 and PCB110 were 4.05 and 8.52 ng/L in Red‐Star lake water (Hubei Province, China), respectively.  相似文献

In this study, silica modified with a 30‐membered macrocyclic polyamine was synthesized and first used as an adsorbent material in SPE. The SPE was further combined with ionic liquid (IL) dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction (DLLME). Five polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons were employed as model analytes to evaluate the extraction procedure and were determined by HPLC combined with UV/Vis detection. Acetone was used as the elution solvent in SPE as well as the dispersive solvent in DLLME. The enrichment of analytes was achieved using the 1,3‐dibutylimidazolium bis[(trifluoromethyl)sulfonyl]imide IL/acetone/water system. Experimental conditions for the overall macrocycle‐SPE–IL‐DLLME method, such as the amount of adsorbent, sample solution volume, sample solution pH, type of elution solvent as well as addition of salt, were studied and optimized. The developed method could be successfully applied to the analysis of four real water samples. The macrocyclic polyamine offered higher extraction efficiency for analytes compared with commercially available C18 cartridge, and the developed method provided higher enrichment factors (2768–5409) for model analytes compared with the single DLLME. Good linearity with the correlation coefficients ranging from 0.9983 to 0.9999 and LODs as low as 0.002 μg/L were obtained in the proposed method.  相似文献

Novel multi‐walled carbon nanotube modified dummy‐template molecularly imprinted microspheres (MWCNTs@DMMIPs) were successfully synthesized as adsorbents for six kinds of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs). MWCNTs@DMMIPs were prepared by a surface molecular imprinting technique. Core–shell Fe3O4@SiO2 nanoparticles were employed as magnetic support. 3,4‐Dichlorobenzene acetic acid was used as a dummy template instead of PCBs, methacrylic acid was used as functional monomer and ethylene glycol dimethacrylate was used as the cross‐linker. The resulting absorbent was characterized by various methods. The adsorbent was employed for extracting PCBs and exhibited good selectivity and high adsorption efficiency. Furthermore, it was reusable and capable of magnetic separation. Adsorption kinetics fit well with a pseudo‐second‐order kinetic equation and also exhibited a three‐stage intra‐particle diffusion model. The Freundlich model was used to describe the adsorption isotherms. The materials were successfully applied to the magnetic dispersive solid‐phase extraction of six kinds of PCBs followed by gas chromatography with mass spectrometry determination in fish samples, the limit of detection of six kinds of PCBs were 0.0028–0.0068 μg/L and spiked recoveries ranged between 73.41 and 114.21%. The prepared adsorbent was expected to be a new material for the removal and recovery of PCBs from contaminated foods.  相似文献
