The title molecule, 2‐(4‐chlorophenyl)‐1‐methyl‐1H‐benzo[d]imidazole (C14H11ClN2), was prepared and characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, IR, and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. The molecular geometry, vibrational frequencies, and gauge including atomic orbital (GIAO) 1H and 13C NMR chemical shift values of the title compound in the ground state have been calculated by using the Hartree‐Fock (HF) and density functional theory (DFT/B3LYP) method with 6‐31G(d) basis sets, and compared with the experimental data. The calculated results show that the optimized geometries can well reproduce the crystal structural parameters, and the theoretical vibrational frequencies and GIAO 1H and 13C NMR chemical shifts show good agreement with experimental values. The energetic behavior of the title compound in solvent media has been examined using B3LYP method with the 6‐31G(d) basis set by applying the Onsager and the polarizable continuum model (PCM). Besides, molecular electrostatic potential (MEP), frontier molecular orbitals (FMO) analysis, and nonlinear optical (NLO) properties of the title compound were investigated by theoretical calculations. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. We report a new polymorph of (1E,4E)‐1,5‐bis(4‐fluorophenyl)penta‐1,4‐dien‐3‐one, C17H12F2O. Contrary to the precedent literature polymorph with Z′ = 3, our polymorph has one half molecule in the asymmetric unit disordered over two 50% occupancy sites. Each site corresponds to one conformation around the single bond vicinal to the carbonyl group (so‐called anti or syn). The other half of the bischalcone is generated by twofold rotation symmetry, giving rise to two half‐occupied and overlapping molecules presenting both anti and syn conformations in their open chain. Such a disorder allows for distinct patterns of intermolecular C—H…O contacts involving the carbonyl and anti‐oriented β‐C—H groups, which is reflected in three 13C NMR chemical shifts for the carbonyl C atom. Here, we have also assessed the cytotoxicity of three symmetric bischalcones through their in vitro antitumour potential against three cancer cell lines. Cytotoxicity assays revealed that this biological property increases as halogen electronegativity increases.  相似文献

The title compound ( 1 ), 4‐(1‐benzyl‐5‐methyl‐1H‐1,2,3‐triazol‐4‐yl)‐6‐(2,4‐dichlorophenyl)pyrimidin‐2‐amine (C20H16Cl2N6), was synthesized and structurally characterized by elemental analysis, 1H NMR and 13C NMR and single crystal X‐ray diffraction. The compound crystallizes as a colourless needle shaped in the triclinic system, space group P‐1 with cell constants: a = 10.7557(11) Å, b = 12.7078(17) Å, c = 15.511(2) Å, α = 68.029(4)0, β = 86.637(5)0, γ = 87.869(4)0; V = 1962.4 (4) Å3, Z = 4. There are two structurally similar but crystallographically independent molecules (A and B) in the asymmetric unit of the title compound, which is linked via N‐H…Cl hydrogen bond. An intramolecular C‐H…N hydrogen also occurs in each molecule. In the crystal, each of independent molecules forms a centrosymmetric dimer with an R22(8) ring motifs through a pair of N‐H…N hydrogen bonds. These dimers are further connected by intermolecular N‐H…Cl and C‐H…Cl hydrogen bonds, forming an infinite two dimensional supramolecular network lying parallel to the [010] plane. The molecular geometry was also optimized using density functional theory (DFT/B3LYP) method with the 6‐311G (d, p) basis set and compared with the experimental data. Mulliken population analyses on atomic charges, HOMO‐LUMO energy levels, Molecular electrostatic potential and chemical reactivity of the title compound were investigated by theoretical calculations. The thermo dynamical properties of the title compound at different temperature have been calculated and corresponding relations between the properties and temperature have also been obtained. The in vitro antibacterial activity has been screened against Gram‐positive (Bacillus cerus and Staphylococcus epidermidis) and Gram‐Negative (Escherichia coli, Acinetobacter baumannii and Proteus vulgaris). The results revealed that the compound exhibited good to moderate antibacterial activity.  相似文献

The asymmetric unit of the racemic form of the title compound, C12H15NOS, contains four crystallographically independent molecules. The olefinic bond connecting the 2‐thienyl and 1‐azabicyclo[2.2.2]octan‐3‐ol moieties has Z geometry. Strong hydrogen bonding occurs in a directed co‐operative O—H...O—H...O—H...O—H R44(8) pattern that influences the conformation of the molecules. Co‐operative C—H...π interactions between thienyl rings are also present. The average dihedral angle between adjacent thienyl rings is 87.09 (4)°.  相似文献

The title compound, [(Z)‐4‐allyl‐2‐(2‐hydroxybenzylidene)thiosemicarbazide‐κS][(E)‐4‐allyl‐1‐(2‐oxidobenzylidene)thiosemicarbazidato‐κ3O,N1,S]copper(II) monohydrate, [Cu(C11H11N3OS)(C11H13N3OS)]·H2O, crystallized as a rotational twin in the monoclinic crystal system (space group Cc) with two formula unit (Z′ = 2) in the asymmetric unit, one of which contains an allyl substituent disordered over two positions. The CuII atom exhibits a distorted square‐planar geometry involving two differently coordinated thiosemicarbazone ligands. One ligand is bonded to the CuII atom in a tridentate manner via the phenolate O, azomethine N and thioamide S atoms, while the other coordinates in a monodentate manner via the S atom only. The complex is stabilized by an intramolecular hydrogen bond, which creates a six‐membered pseudo‐chelate metalla‐ring. The structure analysis indicates the presence of the E isomer for the tridentate ligand and the Z isomer for the monodentate ligand. The crystal structure contains a three‐dimensional network built from intermolecular O—H...O, N—H...O, O—H...N and N—H...S hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

Reaction of bicyclic β‐P4S3I2 with enantiomerically pure (R)‐Hpthiq (1‐phenyl‐1,2,3,4‐tetrahydroisoquinoline) and Et3N gave a solution of a single diastereomer of the unusually stable diamide β‐P4S3(pthiq)2, accounting for 83 % of the phosphorus content. Despite the steric bulk of the substituents, each amide group of this could adopt either of two rotameric positions about their P–N bonds, so that, at 183 K, 31P NMR multiplets for four rotamers could be observed and the spectra of three of them analysed fully. The large 2J(P–P–P) coupling became greater (253, 292, 304 Hz) with decreasing abundance of the individual rotamers. The rotamers were modelled at the ab initio RHF/3–21G* level, and relative NMR chemical shifts predicted by the GIAO method using a locally dense basis set, allowing the observed spectra to be assigned to structures. Calculations at the same level for the model compound α‐P4S3(pthiq)Cl confirmed the assignments of low‐temperature rotamers of α‐P4S3(pthiq)I reported previously. Changes in observed P–P coupling constants and 31P chemical shifts, on rotating a pthiq substituent, could then be compared between β‐P4S3(pthiq)2 and α‐P4S3(pthiq)I, confirming both sets of assignments. The most abundant rotamer of β‐P4S3(pthiq)2 was not the one with the least sterically crowded sides of both pthiq substituents pointing towards the P4S3 cage, because of interaction between the two substituents. Only by using a DFT method could relative abundances of rotamers of β‐P4S3(pthiq)2 be predicted to be in the observed order. Use of racemic Hpthiq gave also the two diastereomers of β‐P4S3(pthiq)2 with Cs symmetry, for which the room temperature 31P{1H} NMR spectra were analysed fully.  相似文献

Herein, we report a unique structural property of 2,4,6‐tri‐tert‐butylanilide, which can be separated into its amide rotamers at room temperature. Interconversion between the rotamers of anilide enolates occurs readily at room temperature and their reaction with electrophiles gives mixtures of the rotamers in a ratio that depends on the reactivity of the corresponding electrophile. That is, the reaction of the 2,4,6‐tri‐tert‐butylacetanilide enolate with reactive electrophiles, such as allyl bromide or protic acids, gives mixtures of the anilide rotamers in which the E rotamer is the major component, whereas less‐reactive electrophiles, such as 1‐bromopropane and 2‐iodopropane, yield mixtures of the rotamers in which the Z rotamer is the major component. The rotameric ratio of the product is also strongly dependent on the reactivity of the anilide enolate. Switching between the anilide rotamers can be achieved through protonation of a less‐reactive enolate by a less‐reactive protic acid and thermal isomerization of the anilide.  相似文献

The title molecule, N‐[4‐(3‐Methyl‐3‐phenyl‐cyclobutyl)‐thiazol‐2‐yl]‐N′‐pyridin‐3ylmethylene‐ hydrazine (C20 H20 N4 S1), was characterized by 1H‐NMR, 13C‐NMR, IR, UV‐visible, and X‐ray determination. In addition to the molecular geometry from X‐ray experiment, the molecular geometry, vibrational frequencies and gauge including atomic orbital 1H‐ and 13C‐NMR chemical shift values of the title compound in the ground state have been calculated using the Hartree‐Fock and density functional method (B3LYP) with 6‐31G(d, p) basis set. The calculated results show that optimized geometries can well reproduce the crystal structural parameters. By using time‐dependent density functional theory method, electronic absorption spectrum of the title compound has been predicted. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.  相似文献

1,2,3,4,6‐Penta‐O‐acetyl‐α‐d ‐glucopyranose and the corresponding [1‐2H], [2‐2H], [3‐2H], [4‐2H], [5‐2H], and [6,6‐2H2]‐labeled compounds were prepared for measuring deuterium/hydrogen‐induced effects on 13C chemical shift nΔ (DHIECS) values. A conformational analysis of the nondeuterated compound was achieved using density functional theory (DFT) molecular models that allowed calculation of several structural properties as well as Boltzmann‐averaged 13C NMR chemical shifts by using the gauge‐including atomic orbital method. It was found that the DFT‐calculated C–H bond lengths correlate with 1Δ DHIECS. Copyright © 2013 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The title compound, Na+·C9H7N4O5S·2H2O, presents a Z configuration around the imine C=N bond and an E configuration around the C(O)NH2 group, stabilized by two intramolecular hydrogen bonds. The packing is governed by ionic interactions between the Na+ cation and the surrounding O atoms. The ionic unit, Na+ and 2‐oxo‐3‐semicarbazono‐2,3‐dihydro‐1H‐indole‐5‐sulfonate, forms layers extending in the bc plane. The layers are connected by hydrogen bonds involving the water molecules.  相似文献

A Pd(dba)2–P(OEt)3 combination allowed the silastannation of arylacetylenes, 1‐hexyne or propargyl alcohols with tributyl(trimethylsilyl)stannane to take place at room temperature, producing (Z)‐2‐silyl‐1‐stannyl‐1‐substituted ethenes in high yields. Novel silyl(stannyl)ethenes were fully characterized by 1H‐, 13C‐, 29Si‐ and 119Sn‐NMR as well as infrared and mass analyses. Treatment of a series of (Z)‐1‐aryl‐2‐silyl‐1‐stannylethenes and (Z)‐1‐(3‐pyridyl)‐2‐silyl‐1‐stannylethene with hydrochloric acid or hydroiodic acid in the presence of tetraethylammonium chloride (TEACl) or tetrabutylammonium iodide (TBAI) led to the exclusive formation of (E)‐trimethyl(2‐arylethenyl)silanes with high stereoselectivity. A similar reaction of (Z)‐1‐(2‐anisyl)‐2‐silyl‐1‐stannylethene also produced E‐type trimethyl[2‐(2‐anisyl)ethenyl]silane, while (Z)‐trimethyl [2‐(2‐pyridyl)ethenyl]silane was produced exclusively from (Z)‐1‐(2‐pyridyl)‐2‐silyl‐1‐stannylethene. Protodestannylation of (Z)‐1‐[hydroxy(phenyl)methyl]‐2‐silyl‐1‐stannylethene with trifluoroacetic acid took place via the β‐elimination of hydroxystannane, providing trimethyl(3‐phenylpropa‐1,2‐dienyl)silane quite easily. The destannylation products were also fully characterized. Copyright © 2007 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In crystals of the title compound, C23H23N5O3S, the indole system is planar and the phenyl ring of the phenylsulfonyl group makes a dihedral angle with the best plane of the indole system of 77.18 (4)°. The olefinic bond connecting the azabicyclic and indole systems has Z geometry. The geometry adopted by the C=O bond with respect to the N—N bond is trans. The O atom of the carbonyl group of each molecule is hydrogen bonded to the hydrazidic H atom of an adjacent molecule to form an eight‐membered‐ring dimeric structure.  相似文献

The Ramirez ylide undergoes electrophilic substitution with dialkyl acetylenedicarboxylates, yielding a mixture of the Z and E adducts. The crystal structure analyses of the two adducts formed using dimethylacetylene, viz. dimethyl (E)‐ and (Z)‐1‐[2‐(triphenylphosphoranylidene)cyclopentadien‐1‐yl]ethylenedicarboxylate, both C29H25O4P, explain an unusual chemical shift observed for the vinyl H atom of the Z adduct, which had previously precluded a definitive assignment of the isomers. In addition, the structures explain why only one of the isomers reacts further with acetylene esters to produce azulenes with a rare substitution pattern.  相似文献

(Z)‐3‐(1H‐Indol‐3‐yl)‐2‐(3‐thienyl)acrylonitrile, C15H10N2S, (I), and (Z)‐3‐[1‐(4‐tert‐butylbenzyl)‐1H‐indol‐3‐yl]‐2‐(3‐thienyl)acrylonitrile, C26H24N2S, (II), were prepared by base‐catalyzed reactions of the corresponding indole‐3‐carboxaldehyde with thiophene‐3‐acetonitrile. 1H/13C NMR spectral data and X‐ray crystal structures of compounds (I) and (II) are presented. The olefinic bond connecting the indole and thiophene moieties has Z geometry in both cases, and the molecules crystallize in space groups P21/c and C2/c for (I) and (II), respectively. Slight thienyl ring‐flip disorder (ca 5.6%) was observed and modeled for (I).  相似文献

In the title compound, C11H21N2O5P, one of the two carbazate N atoms is involved in the C=N double bond and the H atom of the second N atom is engaged in an intramolecular hydrogen bond with an O atom from the dimethylphosphorin‐2‐yl group, which is in an uncommon cis position with respect to the carbamate group. The cohesion of the crystal structure is also reinforced by weak intermolecular hydrogen bonds. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations at the B3LYP/6‐311++g(2d,2p) level revealed the lowest energy structure to have a Z configuration at the C=N bond, which is consistent with the configuration found in the X‐ray crystal structure, as well as a less stable E counterpart which lies 2.0 kcal mol−1 higher in potential energy. Correlations between the experimental and computational studies are discussed.  相似文献

The title compound, C16H14FNOS, crystallizes with Z′ = 2 in the space group P21/c. In one of the two independent molecules, the heterocyclic ring is effectively planar, but in the other molecule this ring adopts an envelope conformation. The molecules are weakly linked by two C—H...O hydrogen bonds to form C22(14) chains. Comparisons are made with some symmetrically substituted 2‐aryl‐3‐benzyl‐1,3‐thiazolidin‐4‐ones.  相似文献

Hydrazone derivatives exhibit a wide range of biological activities, while pyrazolo[3,4‐b]quinoline derivatives, on the other hand, exhibit both antimicrobial and antiviral activity, so that all new derivatives in these chemical classes are potentially of value. Dry grinding of a mixture of 2‐chloroquinoline‐3‐carbaldehyde and 4‐methylphenylhydrazinium chloride gives (E)‐1‐[(2‐chloroquinolin‐3‐yl)methylidene]‐2‐(4‐methylphenyl)hydrazine, C17H14ClN3, (I), while the same regents in methanol in the presence of sodium cyanoborohydride give 1‐(4‐methylphenyl)‐4,9‐dihydro‐1H‐pyrazolo[3,4‐b]quinoline, C17H15N3, (II). The reactions between phenylhydrazinium chloride and either 2‐chloroquinoline‐3‐carbaldehyde or 2‐chloro‐6‐methylquinoline‐3‐carbaldehyde give, respectively, 1‐phenyl‐1H‐pyrazolo[3,4‐b]quinoline, C16H11N3, (III), which crystallizes in the space group Pbcn as a nonmerohedral twin having Z′ = 3, or 6‐methyl‐1‐phenyl‐1H‐pyrazolo[3,4‐b]quinoline, C17H13N3, (IV), which crystallizes in the space group R. The molecules of compound (I) are linked into sheets by a combination of N—H…N and C—H…π(arene) hydrogen bonds, and the molecules of compound (II) are linked by a combination of N—H…N and C—H…π(arene) hydrogen bonds to form a chain of rings. In the structure of compound (III), one of the three independent molecules forms chains generated by C—H…π(arene) hydrogen bonds, with a second type of molecule linked to the chains by a second C—H…π(arene) hydrogen bond and the third type of molecule linked to the chain by multiple π–π stacking interactions. A single C—H…π(arene) hydrogen bond links the molecules of compound (IV) into cyclic centrosymmetric hexamers having (S6) symmetry, which are themselves linked into a three‐dimensional array by π–π stacking interactions.  相似文献

The title compound, C7H7N3, is the first crystallographically characterized 1H‐pyrrolyl‐1H‐pyrazole derivative and contains two unique molecules in its asymmetric unit (Z′ = 2). These molecules associate into centrosymmetric tetramers through N—H...N hydrogen bonding, including a cyclic dimerization of one of the two unique pyrazole rings. These tetramers are linked further by two weaker N—H...π contacts to give a novel two‐dimensional (3,4)‐connected net with a (32.8)2(3.82)2 topology.  相似文献

Hydrazones exhibit a versatile chemistry and are of interest for their potential use as functional molecular systems capable of undergoing reversible changes of configuration, i.e. E/Z isomerization. The title compound, C12H12N4O, has an E configuration with respect to the hydrazone C=N bond. The crystal packing is formed by N—H...N and O—H...N hydrogen bonds that give a two‐dimensional layer structure and C—H...C interactions associated with layer stacking to produce the three‐dimensional supramolecular structure. These intermolecular interactions were analyzed and quantified by the Hirshfeld surface method and the two‐dimensional supramolecular arrangement was topologically simplified as a hcb network.  相似文献

The oxidation of the trans, cis‐( 2 ) and trans, trans‐epoxides ( 3 ) of differently substituted (Z)‐3‐arylidene‐1‐thioflavan‐4‐ones ( 1 ) with dimethyldioxirane (DMD) yielded the appropriate sulfoxides ( 4, 5 ) and sulfones ( 6, 7 ). The structures were elucidated by the extensive application of one‐ and two‐dimensional 1H, 13C and 17O NMR spectroscopy. The conformational analysis was achieved by the application of 3J(C,H) coupling constants, NOESY responses and ab initio calculations. The preferred ground‐state conformers (twisted envelope‐A, twisted envelope‐B for 6 and twisted envelope‐A, envelope‐B for 7 ) were obtained as global minima of the theoretical ab initio MO study and also the examination of the 17O and 13C chemical shifts, calculated for the global minima structures of the sulfone isomers by the GIAO method. Analogous results, obtained for the sulfoxide isomers ( 4, 5 ), not only led to the preferred conformers but also gave evidence for the trans arrangement of the 2‐Ph group and the oxygen atom of the S?O group. Chemical shift differences between the isomers, sulfoxides and sulfones were corroborated by ab initio calculations of the anisotropic effects of the oxirane ring and the S?O and SO2 groups.
