The kinetics of the CrO(O2)2 formation by H2O2 and Cr2O7 2− in aqueous acidic media was measured at 293 ± 2 K in a pH range between 2.5 and 3.3. Using the stopped-flow method with rapid scan UV-VIS detection, the rate law of the formation of CrO(O2)2 was determined. For the media HClO4, HNO3 and CH3COOH, the reaction order in the Cr2O7 2− concentration was found to be 0.5. For [H2O2] as well as for [H+], the reaction was first order in all acids used. In HCl and H2SO4 media the reaction was first order in Cr2O7 2−. At T = 293 ± 2 K the rate constant for the formation of Cr(O)(O2)2 was found to be (7.3 ± 1.9) · 102 M−3/2 s−1 in HClO4.  相似文献

Combined analytical procedures consisting of wet digestion step followed by instrumental determination – differential pulse cathodic stripping voltammetry (DPCSV) or electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry (ETAAS) – as well as a direct analysis method – slurry sampling ETAAS – for the determination of Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Ni and Pb in milk, cheese and chocolate are described and compared. Wet digestion using a mixture of HNO3-HClO4-H2O2 is proposed for complete matrix decomposition prior to trace analyte determinati on by DPCSV or ETAAS. A mixture of HNO3-H2O2 is used for slurry preparation. Optimal instrumental parameters for trace analyte measurements are presented. The reliability of the procedures has been verified by analyzing standard reference materials. Results obtained are in good agreement with the certified values and the relative standard deviations (for these results) are in the range 5–10% for wet digestion DPCSV or ETAAS and 3–9% for slurry sampling ETAAS in the range of 2 μgċg−1 (Cd) to 12 μgċg−1 (Fe). Summary.  A highly selective, sensitive, and simple catalytic method for the determination of molybdenum in natural and waste waters was developed. It is based on the catalytic effect of Mo(VI) on the oxidation of 2-aminophenol with H2O2. The reaction is monitored spectrophotometrically by tracing the oxidation product at 430 nm after 10 min of mixing the reagents. Addition of 800 μg · cm−3 EDTA conferred high selectivity; however, interfering effects of Au(III), Cr(III), Cr(VI), and Fe(III) had to be eliminated by a reduction and co-precipitation procedure with SnCl2 and Al(OH)3. Mo(VI) shows a linear calibration graph up to 11.0 ng · cm−3; the detection limit, based on the 3S b-criterion, is 0.10 ng · cm−3. The unique selectivity and sensitivity of the new method allowed its direct application to the determination of Mo(VI) in natural and waste waters. Received April 11, 2001.  Necessary conditions were established for simultaneous nickel and cobalt determination in environmental samples, such as oak wood and soil, based on cathodic adsorptive stripping voltammetry. Ni(II) and Co(II), complexed with dimethylglyoxime, were determined using a hanging mercury drop electrode. Optimum conditions were found to be: accumulation time 90 s, accumulation potential −0.80 V vs. SCE, supporting electrolyte 0.2 mol dm−3 ammonia-ammonium chloride buffer (pH = 9.4) + 0.05 mol dm−3 NaNO2 and dimethylglyoxime 2 × 10−4 mol dm−3. A linear current-concentration relationship was observed up to 7.51×10 −7 mol dm−3 for Ni(II) and 7.0 × 10−7 mol dm−3 for Co(II). Excess amounts of zinc(II) interfering with cobalt peaks were masked by complexation with EDTA. Wood and soils were mineralized by applying a microwave digestion system, using the mixtures H2O2 + HNO3 or HNO3 + HF, respectively. The developed procedure was tested by analysing international reference materials (BCR 62 Olive Leaves and GBW 08302 Tibet Soil). The developed procedure was used to determine pollution of oak stand with nickel and cobalt in different regions of Poland. Received August 10, 2000. Revision May 22, 2001.  相似文献

Using the nephelometric sedimentation analytical method, the emulsions dispersity was investigated. These emulsions were formed in a centrifugal extractor mixing chamber with different extraction systems: TBP in kerosene—HNO3 and TBP in CCl4−HNO3. The TBP and HNO3 concentration, the speed of rotation and the supply of the mixing chamber with the phases stream influence on the histeresis loop of the emulsion type and the emulsion dispersity was described. The foaminess of extraction systems was investigated, and the stabilizing influence of w/o emulsions on the foaminess was confirmed.  相似文献

Microwave digestion reduction-aeration and pyrolysis combined with cold vapour atomic absorption and cold vapour atomic fluorescence are compared for the determination of total mercury in several biological and environmental matrices. The biological samples were digested in a mixture of HNO3/H2O2, the environmental samples in a mixture of HNO3/HClO4. After reduction with SnCl2, the mercury was collected by two-stage gold amalgamation. After microwave digestion reduction-aeration, detection limits of 1.4 ng g−1 and 0.6 ng g−1 were obtained for cold vapour atomic absorption spectrometry (CVAAS) and cold vapour atomic fluorescence spectrometry (CVAFS), respectively, for 250 mg of environmental samples. For biological samples (500 mg) the detection limits were 0.7 ng g−1 (CVAAS) and 0.4 ng g−1 (CVAFS). After pyrolysis, detection limits of 3.5 ng g−1 and 1.6 ng g−1 for CVAAS and CVAFS, respectively, were obtained for a 10 mg sample. Pyrolysis can only be applied when the organic content of the sample is not too high. Accurate results were obtained for 8 certified reference materials of both environmental and biological origin. In addition, a real sludge sample was analysed. Author for correspondence. E-mail: richard.dams@rug.ac.be Received September 18, 2002; accepted December 3, 2002 Published online May 5, 2003  相似文献

Quantitative electron-probe microanalysis was used to determine the chemical composition of an Fe- and Nb-doped bismuth-based BaBi4Ti4O15 perovskite compound. Elemental concentrations of Fe, Nb, Bi, Ba and Ti were accurately measured using wavelength-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy that was optimised for the analysis of a complex oxide matrix containing minor concentrations of dopants. Measurements were performed with a JEOL JXA 840A electron probe microanalyser at 20 and 26 kV, 50 nA beam current, 100 s maximum counting time and 0.3% preset counting deviation (σc) using both PET and LiF crystals. K-ratios were quantified by the ZAF and the φ(ρz) PAP matrix-correction procedures. The results showed that dopants incorporate into the BaBi4Ti4O15 at Ti4 +  sites according to the Ba1−4XBi4 + 4XTi4−4XFe4XO15 and Ba1 + 4XBi4−4XTi4−4XNb4XO15 solid-solution formulae. The majority of the excess charge introduced by the substitution of Ti4 +  with Fe3 +  or Nb5 +  is compensated for the change in the Ba2 + /Bi3 +  ratio.  相似文献

The mixed oxide phosphate (≡SiO)2Ti(O3POH)2 having a specific surface area of SBET= 595 m2 g−1 and an average pore volume of 0.43 mL g−1 was prepared by the sol-gel processing method. The material showed the following characteristics: Ti=11.6 wt% and P=10.5 wt%; ion exchange capacity of 0.60 mmol g−1. Meldola's Blue (MLB) dye was adsorbed, by an ion exchange reaction, from an aqueous solution in a quantity of 0.62 mmol g−1. The dye was strongly retained and was not easily leached from the matrix even in presence of 0.5 M electrolyte solution. Changing the solution pH between 2.5 and 7.0, the midpoint potential of the dye-adsorbed (≡SiO)2 Ti(O3POMLB)2 matrix carbon paste electrode remained practically constant, i.e. about 20 mV vs. SCE. This is not the usual behaviour of MLB since its midpoint potential changes considerably in solution phase as the pH is changed. The modified electrode has proved to be stable and electrocatalytically active for hydrazine oxidation at pH 6. Received: 22 June 1999 / Accepted: 7 September 1999  相似文献

A new chemiluminescence (CL) method combined with flow injection technique is described for the determination of Cr(III) and total Cr. It is found that a strong CL signal is generated from the reaction of Cr(III), lucigenin and KIO4 in alkaline condition. The determination of total Cr is performed by pre-reduction of Cr(VI) to Cr(III) by using H2SO3. The CL intensity is linearly related to the concentration of Cr in the range 4.0 × 10−10–1.0 × 10−6 g mL−1. The detection limit (3s b) is 1 × 10−10 g mL−1 Cr and the relative standard deviation is 1.9% (5.0 × 10−8 g mL−1 of Cr(III) solution, n = 11). The method was applied to the determination of Cr(III) and total Cr in water samples and compared satisfactorily with the official method.  相似文献

The alkoxido-titanium pentamolybdate [(iPrO)TiMo5O18]3− (1) has been obtained as its tetrabutylammonium (TBA) salt by hydrolysis of a mixture containing (TBA)2[Mo2O7], (TBA)4[Mo8O26] and Ti(OiPr)4 in MeCN and has been characterised by 1H, 13C, 17O, 49Ti and 95Mo NMR and FTIR spectroscopy, electrospray ionisation mass spectrometry, elemental microanalysis and single-crystal X-ray crystallography. The Lindqvist-type structure is derived from [Mo6O19]2− by replacement of {Mo=O}4+ by {(iPrO)Ti}3+ and shows bond alternation in the TiMo3O4 rings, with average bond distances of 1.956(8) ? for Ti–O(Mo), 1.832(7) ? for Mo–O(Ti), 1.943(7) ? for Moeq–O(Moax) and 1.910(6) ? for Moax–O(Moeq), while the increase in charge results in a decrease in 17O NMR chemical shift for terminal Mo=O groups from δ 933 for [Mo6O19]2− to δ 875 and 857 for 1 and a shift in νMo=O from 951 cm−1 for [Mo6O19]2− to 930 cm−1 for 1. The main peaks in the negative-ion electrospray ionisation mass spectrum of (TBA)3 1 could be assigned to ion aggregates containing 1 or fragments derived from 1, including {(TBA)2[(iPrO)TiMo5O18]}, {(TBA)[(iPrO)TiMo5O18]}2−, {(iPrO)TiMo2O8}, {TiMo5O18}2−, {TiMo4O15}2− and {Mo3O10}2−.  相似文献

It is shown that it is possible to synthesize high molecular weight hydrophilic polyurethane particles by reacting either tolylene-2,4-diisocyanate or isophorone diisocyanate and oligoethylene glycol (M n ∼200 g mol−1) in non-aqueous inverse emulsions. This procedure offers the advantage that the formation of polyurea can be prevented in consequence of the absence of water in the emulsion. Apparent molecular weights of hydrophilic polyurethane as high as 19,000 g mol−1 (M n) were obtained.  相似文献

Sensitive fluorescent probes for the determination of hydrogen peroxide and glucose were developed by immobilizing enzyme horseradish peroxidase (HRP) on Fe3O4/SiO2 magnetic core–shell nanoparticles in the presence of glutaraldehyde. Besides its excellent catalytic activity, the immobilized enzyme could be easily and completely recovered by a magnetic separation, and the recovered HRP-immobilized Fe3O4/SiO2 nanoparticles were able to be used repeatedly as catalysts without deactivation. The HRP-immobilized nanoparticles were able to activate hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), which oxidized non-fluorescent 3-(4-hydroxyphenyl)propionic acid to a fluorescent product with an emission maximum at 409 nm. Under optimized conditions, a linear calibration curve was obtained over the H2O2 concentrations ranging from 5.0 × 10−9 to 1.0 × 10−5 mol L−1, with a detection limit of 2.1 × 10−9 mol L−1. By simultaneously using glucose oxidase and HRP-immobilized Fe3O4/SiO2 nanoparticles, a sensitive and selective analytical method for the glucose detection was established. The fluorescence intensity of the product responded well linearly to glucose concentration in the range from 5.0 × 10−8 to 5.0 × 10−5 mol L−1 with a detection limit of 1.8 × 10−8 mol L−1. The proposed method was successfully applied for the determination of glucose in human serum sample.  相似文献

A new simple flow injection analysis (FIA) system is described for on-line preconcentration by solid phase extraction and simultaneous determination of Hf and Zr in different samples using inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy with a charge coupling detector (CCD). Quinalizarin (QA) was loaded on an octadecyl silica-polyethylene mini-column for the retention of Hf and Zr ions in complexed form. A 0.3 M ammonium acetate was used as buffer for providing suitable conditions for complexation and increasing reproducibility. Retained ions on the solid phase were then eluted by a solution containing 3.0 M HCl and 0.5 M HNO3. In this work, for reducing bandwidths of eluted ions, elution of minicolumn was carried out from opposite direction. The same solution was used as both carrier and eluent, in order to increase the reproducibility. The eluted ions were introduced into the conventional nebulizer of ICP–AES instrument. Effects of different parameters, including instrumental parameters of ICP and FIA were optimized. An enrichment factor of 330 for each analyte ion was obtained at a concentration level of 80 ppb. The detection limits of the proposed method for Hf and Zr were 0.16 ng mL−1 and 0.04 ng mL−1 respectively. The ability of the method for the recovery of Hf and Zr ions was tested in the presence of several diverse metal ions in a synthetic mixture and some real matrices. It was also applied to the determination of Zr and Hf ions in a standard soil and in a standard alloy as real samples.  相似文献

An analytical method was developed for the determination of three major (Li, Ni and Co) and fourteen minor or trace elements (Al, Ba, Ca, Cu, Cr, Fe, K, Mg, Mn, Na, Si, Sr, Ti and V) in LiNi1−x Co x O2 (x = 0.2–0.8) ceramic powders by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry. Sample dissolution was achieved by 25% nitric acid digestion in a microwave oven. For each element, an analytical line free from spectral interferences was selected. A detailed study of matrix effects over a wide interval of total excitation energy (TEE) lines (1.62–16.50 eV) was performed at near-robust plasma conditions. A remarkable enhancement in atomic lines with TEE <4 eV was noticed, whereas a significant reduction in atomic and ionic lines with TEE >4 eV was observed. The extrapolation to infinite dilution method was successfully used to overcome these nonspectroscopic interferences. Detection limits (3σ) varied from 0.21 mg kg−1 for Sr to 49.7 mg kg−1 for Na. The precision of determination (obtained as the relative standard deviation) was lower than 1% for the major elements Li, Ni and Co and between 0.69 and 10% for minor and trace elements. The accuracy of the method ranged from 91 to 101% for major elements, and from 90 to 110%, or close to this range, for most of the impurities in both of the samples studied.   相似文献

A polarographic catalytic wave of prednisone in the presence of K2S2O8 was observed. The polarographic catalytic wave of prednisone as catalyst was attributed to such chemical reaction parallel to electrode reaction as oxidized the free radical from one electron reduction of the Δ1,4-3 keto group of prednisone to regenerate the original keto group. The catalytic wave can be used for the determination of prednisone with the help of conventional polarographic equipment, such as linear-potential scan polarograph. In 0.12 mol l−1 HAc-0.08 mol l−1 NaAc-0.014 mol l−1 K2S2O8 (pH 4.6) supporting electrolyte, the second-order derivative peak current of the catalytic wave was rectilinear to prednisone concentration in the range of 3.2 × 10−7∼1.6 × 10−5 mol l−1. The detection limit was 8.0 × 10−8 mol l−1. Received August 6, 2001; accepted April 17, 2002; published online July 22, 2002  相似文献

It was studied the equilibrium adsorption and adsorption kinetics of Cu(II), Cd(II), Pb(II), and Cr(VI) by composite hydroxides formed by Me x O y · nH2O and Me0.4–0.7Al0.6–0.3O y · nH2O, where Me = Zr, Sn and Ti. It was estimated the values of the diffusion coefficients of adsorbed ions Cu(II) and Cr(VI) from kinetic values. It was established that the estimated diffusion coefficients of adsorbed ions Cu(II) are in the range 0.4 × 10−12–2.5 × 10−12 m2/s for individual hydroxides and 1.2 × 10−12–2.8 × 10−12 m2/s for double hydroxides. The obtained values of diffusion coefficients Cr (VI) for double hydroxides are 0.1 × 10−10–0.4 × 10−10 m2/s.  相似文献

Chromium(III)-carbonate reactions are expected to be important in managing high-level radioactive wastes. Extensive studies on the solubility of amorphous Cr(III) hydroxide solid in a wide range of pH (3–13) at two different fixed partial pressures of CO2(g) (0.003 or 0.03 atm.), and as functions of K2CO3 concentrations (0.01 to 5.8 mol⋅kg−1) in the presence of 0.01 mol⋅dm−3 KOH and KHCO3 concentrations (0.001 to 0.826 mol⋅kg−1) at room temperature (22±2 °C) were carried out to obtain reliable thermodynamic data for important Cr(III)-carbonate reactions. A combination of techniques (XRD, XANES, EXAFS, UV-Vis-NIR spectroscopy, thermodynamic analyses of solubility data, and quantum mechanical calculations) was used to characterize the solid and aqueous species. The Pitzer ion-interaction approach was used to interpret the solubility data. Only two aqueous species [Cr(OH)(CO3)22− and Cr(OH)4CO33−] are required to explain Cr(III)-carbonate reactions in a wide range of pH, CO2(g) partial pressures, and bicarbonate and carbonate concentrations. Calculations based on density functional theory support the existence of these species. The log 10 K° values of reactions involving these species [{Cr(OH)3(am) + 2CO2(g)Cr(OH)(CO3)22−+2H+} and {Cr(OH)3(am) + OH+CO32− Cr(OH)4CO33−}] were found to be −(19.07±0.41) and −(4.19±0.19), respectively. No other data on any Cr(III)-carbonato complexes are available for comparisons.  相似文献

Chitosan resin functionalized with 3,4-dihydroxy benzoic acid (CCTS-DHBA resin) was used as a packing material for flow injection (FI) on-line mini-column preconcentration in combination with inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES) for the determination of trace elements such as silver, bismuth, copper, gallium, indium, molybdenum, nickel, uranium, and vanadium in environmental waters. A 5-mL aliquot of sample (pH 5.5) was introduced to the minicolumn for the adsorption/preconcentration of the metal ions, and the collected analytes on the mini-column were eluted with 2 M HNO3, and the eluates was subsequently transported via direct injection to the nebulizer of ICP-AES for quantification. The parameters affecting on the sensitivity, such as sample pH, sample flow rate, eluent concentration, and eluent flow rate, were carefully examined. Alkali and alkaline earth metal ions commonly existing in river water and seawater did not affect the analysis of metals. Under the optimum conditions, the method allowed the determination of metal ions with detection limits of 0.08 ng mL−1 (Ag), 0.9 ng mL−1 (Bi), 0.07 ng mL−1 (Cu), 0.9 ng mL−1 (Ga), 0.9 ng mL−1 (In), 0.08 ng mL−1 (Mo), 0.09 ng mL−1 (Ni), 0.9 ng mL−1 (U), and 0.08 ng mL−1 (V). By using 5 mL of sample solution, the enrichment factor and collection efficiency were 8–12 fold and 96–102%, respectively, whereas the sample throughput was 7 samples/hour. The method was validated by determining metal ions in certified reference material of river water (SLRS-4) and nearshore seawater (CASS-4), and its applicability was further demonstrated to river water and seawater samples.  相似文献
