The 1 : 1 molar-ratio reaction between copper(I) bromide and 4,5-bis(diphenylphosphano)-9,9-dimethyl-xanthene (xantphos) in acetonitrile results in the formation of [CuBr(xantphos)], which displays luminescent emission at room temperature. The molecular structure of the complex, established by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, features a trigonal planar geometry around the metal center, with the diphosphane acting as a chelate. The high rigidity and steric requirements of the xanthene unit rationalize the unusual coordination number of CuI.  相似文献

The preparation is described of a novel type of formazan complex, the bis(1,5-diphenylformazan)copper(I) cation. The crystal structure of its perchlorate salt has been cleared by an X-ray study. Copper(I) forms 5-membered rings with each of two bidentate, non-ionized formazan molecules. The coordination polyhedron of copper is a distorted tetrahedron. The coordination in the oxidized product of the copper(I) complex in ethanol has been obtained from the ESR spectrum. The redox reactions of the copper(I) complex have reinforced an earlier interpretation of the mechanism of copper(II) oxidation of formazans via coordination of neutral formazan.  相似文献

The solubilities of cuprous bromide were measured at 24.8°C in aqueous KBr and in aqueous KBr-KNO3 mixtures. The results have been analyzed to give equilibrium constanns from formation of neutral and negatively charged complexes of CuBr, and sets of virial parameters suitable for calculation of activity coefficients for the complexes.  相似文献
