Based on the proper connected diagram expansion, we calculated cyclotron resonance widths Γn associated with neighboring Landau states (n, n +1) for free electrons in interaction with more than one kind of impurities. In 3D usual Matthiessen's rule Γn=Γ(1)n+Γ(2)n+…where Γ(i)n represent widths calculated separately for each kind, is obtained. In 2D a new rule: Γn=[Γ(1)2n(2)2n+…]12 is obtained.  相似文献

Neutron capture and transmission measurements have been carried out on the separated isotopes of 147Sm (98.34 %) and 149Sm (97.72 %) at the 55 m time-of-flight station of the Japan Atomic Energy Research Institute electron linear accelerator. Resonance energies and neutron widths for a large number of resolved resonances were determined up to 2 keV for 147Sm and 520 eV for 149Sm. Radiation widths for 5 resonances in 147Sm + n and 7 resonances in 149Sm + n were derived. The s-wave strength functions, average level spacings and average radiation widths were obtained to be: 104S0 = 4.8 ± 0.5, D = 5.7 ± 0.5 eV and Γγ = 69 ± 2 meV for147Sm; a 104S0 = 4.6 ± 0.6, D = 2.2 ± 0.2 eV and Γγ = 62 ± 2 meV for149Sm. The average capture cr sections were deduced from 3.3 to 300 keV with an estimated accuracy of 5 to 15 %. The measured capture cross sections for 149Sm are largely different from the evaluated data, which are obtained based on the statistical model calculation. Possible reasons for this disagreement are discussed.  相似文献

The irreducible components of the Raman scattering tensor operator α?γΓ(ΓksΓk′s′) under the symmetry of a general point group are calculated. The unitary transformations UγΓksΓks, ρσ) from the Cartesian α?ρσ and spherical α?QK components, respectively, to the irreducible components α?γΓ(ΓksΓk′s′) for the 32 crystallographic point groups are collected in tables. As an example the unitary transformation UγΓksΓks, ρσ) is used to discuss the behavior of the scattering tensor in a resonance Raman experiment. With the help of the general formalism the scattering tensor for electronic Raman transitions of transition metal ions is calculated. As an example the scattering tensors of electronic Raman transitions within the 5T2 state of the high-spin trigonal distorted octahedral Fe2+ are calculated and the refinement of the selection rules is discussed.  相似文献

Assuming that the sea quark distribution vanishes for x > 0.3, we analyse the F2Fe(x, Q2) and F2D(x, Q2) structure functions measured by the European Muon Collaboration in the framework of a thermodynamical model of the valence quarks. The experimental ratio F2Fe(x)F2D(x) is well reproduced over the whole x range by the ratio of two valence quark distributions at different temperatures T and confinement volumes V. We obtain TD?TFe≈3 MeV and VFeVD ≈ 1.3.  相似文献

In this note we determine the oscillator strengths for the dipole absorption of neutral bound excitons in direct gap semiconductors, using our previously obtained 35-term Page and Fraser type wave function, and taking into account the detailed electronic structure as well as the electron-hole exchange interaction. The envelope part of the oscillator strengths varies considerably with the electron-hole mass ratio σ = m1em1h, and is maximum for the (D0, X)- complex when σ = 0.4. For typical σ-values (σ? 0.1–0.2), ?(D0,X) ? 10?(A0,X). But when σ approaches zero, the overlapping of the electron and the hole envelope wave functions of the (A0,X)-complex decreases progressively so that the oscillator strength also decreases and tends to zero.In the case of zinc-blende materials (Td) and positive spin-orbit coupling at k = 0, we confirm that the line strength for transitions to or from J = 126) or J = 527 + Γ8) level of the (A0, X)-complex is equal to one quarter of the line strength to or from the J = 328) level. In the case of CdS, where our computed values are only in qualitative agreement with the experimental values, we discuss the use of the phenomenological result of Rashba.  相似文献

Excitation functions at θ = 90° have been measured for 16O(3He, γ0?2, 3?5, 6)19Ne, 15N(3He, γ0, 1?4)18F, 14N(3He, γ0, 1,2,3)17F, and 20Ne(3He, γ0 + 1)23Mg, in the range E3He = 3–19 MeV. The first reaction has also been studied at θ = 40°. Excitation functions at 90° have also been measured for 40Ca(3He, γ0?2)43Ti for E3He = 4–17 MeV and 4He(3He, γ0 + 1)7Be for E3He = 19–26 MeV. Angular distributions have been measured for the first four reactions. For the most excitation functions, a broad peak is observed, several MeV wide, centred at about Ex≈ 20 MeV. Superimposed on this, in some cases, are narrower peaks, with width ≈ 1 MeV. Energies and widths have been extracted for all resonances.Cluster-model calculations have been carried out, using methods similar to those which have proved successful for low-lying states in A= 18–19 nuclei. No satisfactory correspondence with the present results was found. The shell model has been used to calculate Γ3He and Γγ for 1?ω excitations in the final nuclei. These generally show good agreement with the trends of the experimental data. The results are consistent with the excitation of the giant dipole resonance in 3He capture, but much more weakly than in proton capture.  相似文献

Using a target prepared by on-line isotope separation, thermal neutron capture in 84Rb (Iπ = 2?) has been shown to induce proton emission to the ground state (0+) and first excited state (2+) of 84Kr. The branching ratio was measured as Γp(0+)Γp(2+) = 4.7 ± 0.7, favouring a 32? assignment of the capturing state without excluding 52?, and the (nth, p) cross section as 12 ± 2 b. The energy available for the process was determined to be 3.45 ± 0.01 MeV, in agreement with other mass data in the region.  相似文献

The 44Ca(p, γ) reaction was studied for 45 resonances for Ep = 1.6?2.2 MeV. The overall proton energy resolution was 300–350 eV; the γ-rays were detected with both NaI(T1) and Ge(Li) detectors. Partial and total γ-ray widths were measured for each of the fine structure states of the 32? and 12? analogue states at Ep = 1.65 and 2.04 MeV, respectively. The data are examined for correlations between the partial widths (Γp, Γp′, Γγi, Γγtotal) in different channels. The γ-ray intensities are compared with (τ, d) spectroscopic factors.  相似文献

A correlation of spectroscopic data with all-valence-electron, CNDOs-CI results has been performed for a number of mono- and disubstituted benzenes containing nitro and/or amino groups. The lowest energy 1Γππ11Γ1 transitions of p-nitroaniline are predicted to be 11B1 ← 11A1, 21A1 ← 11A1, and 21B1 ← 11A1, in the order of increasing energy. These three transitions are assigned to (i.e., are encompassed within) the lowest energy absorption band envelope of p-nitroaniline. The lowest energy predicted 1Γππ11Γ1 transition of o- and m-nitroanilines is 2A′ ← 1A′ and is supposed to correspond to the totality of the lowest energy absorption feature in both of these systems. The orbital excitation nature of these transitions is discussed.  相似文献

Using the ARGUS detector at DORIS II, we have observed a signal of 36.7±8.0 events in the decay channel D0→Ks0φ. In the same data sample, we have observed the well established decay D0→Ks0π+π?, and find the ratio, Br(D)0Ks0φ)Br(D)0Ks0π+π?), to be 0.186±0.052. The substantial value of (0.99±0.32±0.17)% then derived for the branching ratio for D0K0φ gives direct evidence that W exchange contributes D0 decay.  相似文献

We make a theoretical and phenomenological study of correlations between neutral and charged pions in multiparticle production in the framework of the so-called σ, π, ? and ?-? models. Following the method of Drijard and Pokorski, we express the predictions of various models in terms of the negative multiplicity distribution, which is known experimentally. In particular we compute the average number of π0, n0 (n_), and the integral of π0?π0 correlations, f02(n_), as a function of the number of negative pions; we study also the total multiplicity distribution P(N) and its first two moments Nand Dtot2. We show that with the present experimental accuracy neither n0(n_) allow us to discriminate between the different models.  相似文献

Luminescence measurements were performed on high purity epitaxial n-GaAs (1 × 1014cm3 < n < 3 × 1015cm3) for various excitation intensities I0 in the range 8 mWcm2 < I0 < 4 Wcm2. The luminescence line corresponding to the radiative decay of the shallow donor bound exciton, (D0, X), broadens with increasing I0 and appears as a doublet for I0 ? 1 Wcm2, while the two-electron replica of the (D0, X) remains a single narrow line. The doublet structure of the (D0, X) at elevated excitation levels is due to missing luminescence intensity in the center of the line as a consequence of low (D0, X) concentration in a layer extending 1–2 μm from the sample surface into the bulk. The low concentration of (D0, X) is attributed to capture of (D0, X) quanta into surface states, extending to lower energies from the Fermi level fixed by the shallow donors. Comparison of the present results with luminescence spectra obtained by various authors reveals, that unexplained spectral features in the (D0, X) region of n-GaAs reported in the literature are a consequence of high excitation intensity and correspond to the effect reported here. In partly compensated p-GaAs with donor concentrations as given above, the (D0, X) did not transform into a doublet structure even at Wcm2 excitation intensity.  相似文献

The excitation functions of 208Pb(p, p0)208Pb have been measured in the energy range Ep = 14.2 to 17.4 MeV in 50 keV steps at θlab = 120°, 140° and 160°. The isobaric analog resonances of the parent states in 209Pb up to Ex = 2.5 MeV and the optical-model background were fit simultaneously at all energies and angles. The spreading widths and the values of a parameter β2, which measures the isospin purity of the IAR, were determined for the g92, i112, j152, d52, and s12 resonances. An average value of the isospin purity of β2 = 66% was found.  相似文献

The statistical theory of the decay of excited nuclei including the competition between particle emission and fission is considered. Fission barriers are given by a phenomenological formula which is an analog of the known Cameron formula and approximates well experimental data on nuclei up to transuranic elements. The contribution of shell corrections and odd-even effects is discussed. The calculated ratios of evaporation and fission widths Γnf agree with experiment even in the region of nuclei with Z > 90. The ΓnΓf values depend weakly on excitation energy for nuclei with Z ≈ 90, While in other regions this dependence proves rather strong. The last conclusion does not contradict known experimental data since in experiments one usually measures some effective value ΓnΓf, which is only indirectly related to the real ΓnΓf, values. It is shown that the calculated values of ΓnΓf depend on excitation energy either. The effects of angular momentum and uncertainty in the choice of level density parameter are discussed.  相似文献

Small-angle scattering of long wavelength neutrons (λ = 6.42 A?) from an Fe65Ni35 single crystal has been measured with the applied magnetic field (6.2 kG) parallel and perpendicular to the scattering vector K of the elastic scattering over the temperature range from 25 to 422°C (Tc = 227°C). The scattering cross sections due to the longitudinal spin fluctuation have been analyzed by means of Guinier's approximation (dσ/dω)0exp(?κ2Rg23), where the forward cross section (/)0 is proportional to n, which is the number of atoms in a paramagnetic cluster, and Rg is the radius of gyration of the cluster. The empirical relation between n and Rg is = 0.298 × Rg2.34 to be compared with that calculated for a simple spherical cluster model n = 1.274 Rg3.  相似文献

Differential cross sections for the 38Ar(α, γ0)42Ca, 40Ar(α, γ0, 1)44Ca and48Ti(α, γ0, 1)52Cr reactions were measured at 90° to the beam direction in 50 or 100 keV steps over the bombarding energy ranges 6.0–15.0 MeV, 5.5–11.1 MeV and 6.0–12.0 MeV respectively. Gamma-ray angular distributions were measured at forty bombarding energies. These show that the (α, γ0) reaction proceeds through 1? levels and to a lesser extent 2+ levels, whereas the (α, γ1) reaction most probably proceeds through 1? and 3? levels. It is deduced that 〈Γ〉/〈D〉 ≦ 1 for the 40Ar(α, γ)44Ca. reaction whereas the fine structure observed in the 48Ti(α, γ)52Cr reaction is probably due to fluctuations. From a comparison with other data it is shown that the (α, γ) reaction is most probably statistical in nature. Using Hauser-Feshbach theory it is deduced that the 36Ar(α, γ)40Ca. reaction is inhibited by isospin selection rules and an estimate is made of isospin mixing in the 40Ca giant dipole resonance. The 38Ar(α, γ)242Ca and40Ar(α, γ)44Ca data are considered with respect to theories of isosopin splitting of the giant dipole resonance.  相似文献

Using a solution to the inverse scattering problem we have generated phase-equivalent separable potentials in the 1S0 and 3S1?3D1 states, which have nearly the same singlet UPA form factors and deuteron parameters (ED, PD, QD, AS and ADAS) as the Reid soft-core potential. We compare our results for the binding energy of the triton and the neutron-deuteron doublet scattering length with the corresponding values for the Reid soft-core potential.  相似文献

The α-decay of several unbound levels in 20Ne has been studied by 16O(α, α) elastic and inelastic scattering. A narrow resonance, Γc.m. = 13±4 eV, with Jπ = 5? was found at Ex(20Ne) = 8.451±0.005 MeV and is associated with the lowest K = 2? quasirotational band. Several new, narrow resonances were found between Ex = 16.0?18.4 MeV. Reduced α-decay widths have been obtained for the lowest K = 0+, 2? and 0?bands. For states described predominantly by the (8, 2) representation of SU(3) we note a reduction of the reduced widths with increasing spin. Reduced widths of positive parity bands are reviewed.  相似文献
