研究了电磁感应透明条件下五能级M型原子体系中探测光脉冲的非线性传播。当探测光脉冲的脉宽较大时,其色散效应可忽略,脉冲内具有不同偏振方向和不同边带的4个分量可发生四波混频,相互交换能量;当探测光脉冲的脉宽较短时,必须考虑其色散效应,4个分量可形成一种全新的四分量超慢光孤子。产生这种四分量超慢光孤子的输入功率为微瓦量级,远低于光纤中产生矢量光孤子所需的能量。  相似文献

针对铌酸锂晶体中飞秒激光脉冲线性电光效应, 研究了光学相位共轭 对群速度色散 以及一阶和二阶折射率色散的补偿方案. 结果发现, 在任意初始输入脉宽条件下, 这些色散基本上都能得到补偿, 输出脉冲波形基本上和输入脉冲相同. 在此方案中, 若同时在色散补偿铌酸锂晶体上对输出脉冲进行电光相位调制, 则在一定外加电场作用下, 输出脉冲的脉宽将进一步被压缩, 初始输入脉宽越小, 压缩程度越大.  相似文献

采用放电泵浦KrF准分子激光放大器放大波长为248.4nm的紫外超短脉冲激光。对于能量为0.7mJ、脉宽为550fs的输入脉冲,在光束直径保持10mm不变的条件下,能量放大到15mJ,脉宽展宽到1200fs。为了压缩输出脉冲宽度,分析了群速度色散和自相位调制效应对脉宽展宽的影响。利用棱镜对,采用4种不同的实验方案对脉冲引入负的线性频率啁啾,以补偿KrF准分子激光放大器CaF2窗镜中的群速度色散和自相位调制对脉冲引入的正的线性频率啁啾。结果表明:在放大器之前放置棱镜对的方式可以在保持输出脉冲能量为15mJ的同时,在棱镜对间距为110cm的条件下,将输出脉冲宽度压缩到370fs,输出波长为248.4nm、带宽为0.4nm。  相似文献

从修正的非线性薛定谔方程出发,采用变分法,导出了在高阶色散和五阶非线性共同作用情况下高斯型脉冲参量随传输距离的演化方程组;求出了振幅与脉宽、频率与啁啾、脉宽与啁啾之间的三个重要约束关系;并进一步得出了脉宽随传输距离演化的解析解和脉冲中心位置随传输距离的演化规律;描绘了高阶色散和五阶非线性下,脉宽随传输距离演化的图形.结果表明:光纤中的高阶色散和五阶非线性都会影响高斯型脉冲各个参量的演化,但脉宽和振幅间的绝热关系并未改变.高阶色散使高斯型脉冲的脉宽展宽,五阶非线性使高斯型脉冲的脉宽压缩,它们对脉宽或初始啁啾的影响可以在一定程度上抵消,从而有可能使脉冲近似实现保形传输.  相似文献

具有莫尔角的光学莫尔晶格使能带平坦化,为激光超短脉冲的脉宽调控提供了新的思路。通过组合两种不同周期的光子晶格,构建3种人工合成莫尔角逐渐增大的光学莫尔晶格,实现了莫尔晶格能带的平坦化。通过理论分析莫尔晶格的能带色散,发现人工合成莫尔角较大的莫尔晶格具有丰富的群速度色散,这导致了脉宽的剧烈变化。实验上,使用自相关仪测量了超短脉冲经莫尔晶格后的脉宽。在理论和实验上证明了莫尔晶格对超短脉冲脉宽的精准调控。提出的莫尔晶格对激光脉冲压缩器件的研究具有重要意义。  相似文献

以包含增益色散、增益饱和、三阶色散、自陡峭、自频移等高阶效应的光纤放大器为研究对象,对其产生渐近抛物型自相似脉冲的条件及传输特性进行了详细的讨论.结果表明,合理选择系统参数,在渐近约束条件下,可以获得不同振幅和脉宽大小的自相似脉冲;此外,非线性增益(或吸收)与非线性谱宽限制在自相似脉冲存在的范围内近似成线性比例关系,且脉冲的有效脉宽,功率,峰值振幅及能量的大小及增长速度也将随参数的变化面变化.相关结果将为实验中调节光纤放大器以及系统参数的选择提供一定的理论参考.  相似文献

研究了在高阶色散影响下,自相似脉冲在具有正常色散的色散渐减光纤中的演化情况.结果表明:当考虑高阶色散的影响时,脉冲的啁啾仍然具有很强的线性特性,只是中心变得不对称,产生中心漂移.这种啁啾特性使得自相似脉冲在时域中的抛物线形状产生畸形,导致了脉冲峰向一边延迟,并使脉冲的中心位置漂移,同时伴随着脉冲边沿的振荡.但是通过采用色散补偿技术,自相似脉冲强的线性啁啾仍然可以得到高质量的飞秒量级压缩脉冲,与忽略三阶色散影响时得到的压缩脉冲的脉宽近似相等.  相似文献

The dependence of the self-start of laser passive mode-locking on the peak intensity of initial pulses under conditions of high-order frequency dispersion of the refractive index is analyzed using numerical simulation and analytical calculations. It is found that frequency dispersion of this type can lead to generation bistability. Specifically, laser passive mode-locking requires the generation of a sufficiently intense seed pulse in the initial noise distribution of the field in the laser cavity; otherwise, no laser passive mode-locking occurs and a steady-state lasing mode with the entire laser cavity filled with radiation is established in the system after the transient process is completed. The revealed threshold dependence of the self-start of laser passive mode-locking on the intensity of the initial seed pulse is one of the possible factors preventing the generation of ultrashort pulses in Kerr-lens lasers.  相似文献

The influence of higher-order phase dispersion on the pulse generation in femtosecond Kerr-lens mode-locked lasers for small net group-velocity dispersion is numerically analyzed. Depending on the third- and the fourth-order dispersion, we obtain the formation of spectral sidebands phase matched with the principal spectrum. At a relatively large amount of fourth-order dispersion pulse splitting arises, which leads to a quasi-steady-state multipulse operation regime of the Kerr-lens mode-locked laser.  相似文献

Doubled femtosecond laser pulses in-line are needed in the collinear pump-probe technique, collinear second harmonic generation frequency-resolved optical gating (SHG FROG) and the spectral phase interferometry for direct electric-field reconstruction (SPIDER), etc. Normally, it is generated by using a Michelson's structure. In this paper, we proposed a novel structure with two-layered reflective Dammann gratings and the reflective mirrors to generate doubled femtosecond laser pulses in line without transmission optical elements. Angular dispersion and spectral spatial walk-off are both compensated. In addition, this structure can also compress the positive chirped pulse, which cannot be realized with a Michelson's structure. By adopting triangular grating and blazed gratings, the efficiency of the system would in principle be increased as the Michelson's scheme. Experiments demonstrated that this method should be an alternative approach for generation of the double compressed pulses of femtosecond laser for practical applications.  相似文献

为了使得数值模拟更为精确,采用广义非线性薛定谔方程(GNSE)描述超短激光脉冲在光子晶体光纤中的传输演化过程,并利用二阶分步傅里叶方法通过求解方程,数值计算了相同脉宽和能量的超短脉冲在不同色散参量的光子晶体光纤中非线性传输和超连续谱的产生。比较了超短脉冲在光纤不同色散区传输时,高阶色散和非线性效应对超连续谱的产生以及对脉冲波形演化的影响。结果表明,相对于超短脉冲中心波长位于光子晶体光纤的正常和反常色散区,可以相应获得短波波段和长波波段的超连续谱输出,当超短脉冲中心波长位于零色散波长点时,通过色散和非线性效应的联合作用,更易于产生全波长段的平坦超连续谱。  相似文献

The observation of dark pulse in a dispersion-managed fiber ring laser with net negative cavity group velocity dispersion (GVD) is reported. Both bright and dark pulses can be obtained in our fiber laser. When we appropriately adjust the cavity birefringence to achieve triple-wavelength mode-locked operation in the laser by rotating the polarization controller, the bright pulse could be switched to dark pulse. It is believed that the dark dispersion-managed (DM) pulse generation is caused by the linear and nonlinear intermodulation effects among the three wavelength pulses.  相似文献

提出双波长双脉冲激光产生三次谐波的方法。波长不同的两脉冲激光束由反射使它们合拢后通过两块非线性的BBO晶体 ,激光脉冲第一次通过BBO晶体产生两波长的二次谐波 (SHG) ,它们由各自的反射镜反射再次通过BBO又产生了二次谐波 ,这两次产生的二次谐波和基波通过用于产生三次谐波的BBO晶体可产生双波长的三次谐波 ,它们由 45°斜置的耦合镜输出。文中分析了满足二次谐波和三次谐波的四个相位匹配的条件 ,该方法也可用于腔内双波长双脉冲的三次谐波激光的产生 ,给出了相应的实验结果。  相似文献

Undamped relaxation oscillations were observed from a short, simple dye laser using a laser dye mixture which was pumped at 337 nm using ns pulses. The dye solution contained Rh101 as first laser dye, together with DTDCI in double function as saturable absorber and second laser dye. Two trains of intense laser pulses were generated near 619 and 685 nm, with pulse durations of ca. 4 and 2 times the resonator transit time, respectively. This method of short-pulse generation is related to double mode-locking of dye lasers. Model calculations are used to describe the pulse generation by self-gain-switching, and to estimate radiative and nonradiative contributions towards saturation of the absorber dye.  相似文献

本文利用交叉偏振波产生技术(XPW)对800 nm波段钛宝石飞秒激光器输出的激光脉冲进行时域净化, 提高脉冲时域对比度, 并测量验证了1011对比度的脉冲, 达到测量仪器的动态范围极限, 比初始脉冲时域对比度有三个量级的提高, XPW的效率为22%. 同时发现净化后脉冲光谱宽度也得到一定展宽, 进一步利用啁啾镜对和补偿片对净化后的脉冲进行色散补偿, 得到25 fs脉宽的脉冲. 利用该净化后的激光脉冲作为种子注入已有的太瓦级钛宝石啁啾脉冲放大系统中, 在输出脉冲能量250 mJ, 宽度50 fs, 对应峰值功率5 TW的情况下, 在主脉冲前100 ps以外的范围内测量验证了1011的脉冲对比度.  相似文献

We demonstrate the generation of high-energy pulses by using a low-repetition-rate Kerr-lens mode-locked laser. Repetition rates as low as 4 MHz were achieved with a long, multiple-pass cavity and a semiconductor saturable Bragg reflector. The laser generated pulses of 55-fs duration with a pulse energy of 48 nJ when it was mode locked in the net negative dispersion regime. Mode locking in the positive dispersion regime reduces instabilities and enables pulses to have durations of 80 fs and energies as high as 90 nJ. This is, to our knowledge, the highest pulse energy and the lowest repetition rate ever generated directly from a femtosecond laser resonator without cavity dumping.  相似文献

We report an experimental observation of dark pulse generation in a dispersion-managed erbium-doped fiber laser with net anomalous cavity group-velocity dispersion. It is found that apart from the bright soliton pulses, dark pulses with spectral sidebands could be obtained in the laser under appropriate operating conditions. The generation of dark pulses may be attributed to soliton shaping in the cavity.  相似文献
