The efficiency of various palladium salts as catalysts in the Suzuki cross-coupling reaction, and the influence of the base and temperature used on its conversion, were studied. The use of PdCl2 supported on hydrotalcite as catalyst in the presence of potassium carbonate as base was found to provide the best results. Reaction temperatures above 90 °C ensured conversion levels on a par with those for many homogeneous catalysts. 相似文献

We report the preparation of palladium nanoparticles supported on mesoporous natural phosphate (Pd@NP) using a wetness impregnation method. The prepared catalyst was characterized using various techniques. Furthermore, the reduction and preparation of the palladium nanoparticles was followed using UV–visible spectra. Based on the Scherrer equation, the crystallite size of the as‐synthesized palladium nanoparticles was 10.88 nm. The performance of the synthesized catalyst was investigated in the reduction of 4‐nitrophenol as a model substrate to 4‐aminophenol using NaBH4 as a hydrogen source. Moreover, catalytic reduction of various nitroarenes was studied and monitored using UV–visible spectroscopy and gas chromatography. The Pd@NP catalyst showed a high activity for the selected reaction and could be recycled. 相似文献

Novel catalytic system based on palladium nanoparticles supported on poly (N-vinylpyrrolidone) (PVP) grafted silica was prepared. Aminopropylsilica was reacted with acryloyl chloride to form acrylamidopropylsilica, and onto this functionalized silica vinylpyrrolidone monomer was polymerized by free-radical polymerization. The complexation of PVP-grafted silica with PdCl2 was carried out to obtain the heterogeneous catalytic system. X-ray diffraction (XRD) technique and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) image showed that palladium dispersed through the support in nanometer size. This catalytic system exhibited excellent activity in cross-coupling reactions of aryl iodides, bromides and also chlorides with olefinic compounds in Heck-Mizoraki reactions in short reaction time and high yields. Elemental analysis of Pd by inductively coupled plasma (ICP) technique and hot filtration test showed low leaching of the metal into solution from the supported catalyst. The catalyst can be reused several times in repeating Heck reaction cycles without considerable loss in its activity. 相似文献

Polycondensation reactions of phenols with phthalic anhydride were carried out in the presence of ferric hydrogensulphate

Palladium nanoparticles (2–8 nm) supported on gum arabic has been prepared under green conditions in water. Gum arabic has been used as both support and reducing agent. These nanoparticles have been characterized by UV–Vis, XRD and EDX spectra as well as SEM and TEM images. The nanoparticles have been applied as the catalyst in Mizoroki-Heck reaction of different aryl halides (I, Br, Cl) with butyl acrylate in the presence of n-Pr3N under solvent-free conditions at 140 °C. In this study,we report the synthesis of novel palladium nanoflowers(Pd NFs)on amino-functionalized fullerene(C60-NH2)by hydrothermal self-assembly growth using ethylenediamine(EA)as a functional reagent.The successful formation of Pd nanoflowers supported amino-functionalized fullerene(C60-NH2/Pd NFs)is evidenced by UV-vis and powder X-ray diffraction(XRD).The morphology of Pd NFs over the C60-NH2 surface has been investigated by high-resolution transmission electron microscopy(TEM)and Fourier-transform infrared(FT-IR)techniques.The supported Pd nanoflowers(Pd NFs/C60-NH2)exhibit remarkably superior catalytic activity toward the reduction of 4-nitrophenol(4-NP).It exhibits remarkable UV-vis spectra response from 4-nitrophenol to 4-aminophenol(4-AP)(99%in 2.0 min)with a turnover frequency of 12.35 min^-1.Its excellent catalytic stability and durability offer the promising application in catalysis. 相似文献

A heterogeneous Lewis acid catalytic system has been developed by incorporating gadolinium triflate on to poly[styrene-co-(1-((4-vinylphenyl)methyl)-3-methylimidazolium) tetrafluoroborate] (1-Gd(OTf)3), and the catalytic activity of this system has been examined for Michael additions of amines and thiols to α,β-unsaturated esters and acrylonitrile. The reactions proceed in moderate to excellent yields in the presence of catalytic system 1-Gd(OTf)3. The catalytic system could be efficiently recycled and reused. 相似文献

An efficient and solvent-free procedure for the synthesis of flavones using KHSO4 as a recyclable catalyst is described. The methodology represents an environmentally friendly process in comprehensive consideration compared with other catalytic systems listed in publications. This method provides a clean, simple, solvent-free reaction and useful alternatives to prepare flavones and chromones. The use of KHSO4 catalyst provides excellent yields, also leading to an easy separation and recovery of the catalysts, which allows both low environmental impact and low cost. Other green advantages of the method are the low formation of wastes and the replacement of corrosive, soluble mineral acids. 相似文献

A new catalyst, Pd particles supported on the N-doped porous carbon(PC) derived from Zn-based metal–organic frameworks(zeolitic imidazolate framework: ZIF-8), was successfully prepared for the first time.The as-prepared catalyst was designated as N-doped PC-Pd, and characterized by X-ray diffraction, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscope, N_2 adsorption and inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy. The N-doped PC-Pd composite exhibited high catalytic activity toward the Suzuki–Miyaura cross-coupling reactions. The yields of the products were in the range of 90%–99%. The catalyst could be readily recycled and reused at least 6 consecutive cycles without a significant loss of its catalytic activity. 相似文献

A new magnetic oxidation catalyst was prepared using immobilization of tungstophosphoric acid on poly(N-vinylimidazole) entrapped magnetic nanozeolite and characterized by FTIR, TGA, XRD, SEM, TEM, EDX, VSM, and ICP-OES. The resulting heterogeneous catalyst displays high catalytic performance for selective oxidation of alcohols compared to the other catalysts. This study focuses on the hydrodechlorination of chlorinated arenes as well as polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) utilizing a resin‐supported Pd(0) catalyst. Bearing in mind the dangers associated with toxic PCBs, treatment of the remnants of industrial wastes containing PCB congeners is indispensable. One such method is reductive hydrodechlorination. Instead of utilizing traditional sources of hydrogen, ammonium formate is used for in situ hydrogen generation. Moreover, palladium nanoparticles are supported on an anionic exchange resin which makes the process recyclable with a negligible change of yield after recycling experiments. The catalyst is demonstrated in the hydrodechlorination of a wide range of chlorinated compounds and PCB congeners including aroclors 1242, 1248 and 1254.
