The geometry and magnetization (spin distribution) of the series of flat hexagonal zigzag edged molecules C(6m??2)H(6m) (m = 1,2, ..., 10) in their lowest triplet state (S(z) = 1) has been calculated using density functional theory and a connection established from the known benzene (m = 1) triplets to the triplets and singlet ground state of the largest molecules (m = 9, 10). The triplet state potential energy surface has two minima corresponding to distortions from the ground state geometry, such that CC bonds bisected by a C(2)" rotation axis are either longer or shorter. For both geometries, the spin on the carbon atoms forms a pattern that peaks at the middle of an edge and for large index (m) values is the same (apart from sign) as the edge pattern of the hexagonally sectored singlet radical ground state of the largest member C(600)H(60). This similarity suggests that the singlet ground state of the larger (m = 9, 10) zigzag edged hexangulenes is possibly a hex-radical, in some ways analogous to the di- and higher multiradical ground state of the linear acenes C(4m + 2)H(2m + 4) starting around m ≥ 8 and 9. The spin patterns provide guidance in interpreting the multiradical nature of ground and low lying excited states of large hexangulenes and how magnetism evolves with size in molecules with graphene cores.  相似文献

The hydrothermal reactions of a vanadium source, an appropriate diphosphonate ligand, and water in the presence of HF provide a series of compounds with neutral V-P-O networks as the recurring structural motif. When the {O3P(CH2)(n)PO3}4- diphosphonate tether length n is 2-5, metal-oxide hybrids of type 1, [V2O2(H2O){O3P(CH2)(n)PO3}] x xH2O, are isolated. The type 1 oxides exhibit the prototypical three-dimensional (3-D) "pillared" layer architecture. When n is increased to 6-8, the two-dimensional (2-D) "pillared" slab structure of the type 2 oxides [V2O2(H2O)4{O3P(CH2)6PO3}] is encountered. Further lengthening of the spacer to n = 9 provides another 3-D structure, type 3, constructed from the condensation of pillared slabs to give V-P-O double layers as the network substructure. When organic cations are introduced to provide charge balance for anionic V-P-O networks, oxides of types 4-7 are observed. For spacer length n = 3, a range of organodiammonium cations are accommodated by the same 3-D "pillared" layer oxovanadium diphosphonate framework in the type 4 materials [H3N(CH2)(n)NH3][V4O4(OH)2 {O3P(CH)3PO3}2] x xH2O [n = 2, x = 6 (4a); n = 3, x = 3 (4b); n = 4, x = 2 (4c); n = 5, x = 1 (4d); n = 6, x = 0.5 (4e); n = 7, x = 0 (4f)] and [H3NR]y[V4O4(OH)2 {O3P(CH)3PO3}2] x xH2O [R = -CH2(NH3)CH2CH3, y = 1, x = 0 (4g); R = -CH3, n = 2, x = 3 (4h); R = -CH2CH3, y = 2, x = 1 (4i); R = -CH2CH2CH3, y = 2, x = 0 (4j); cation = [H2N(CH2CH3)2], y = 2, x = 0 (4k)]. These oxides exhibit two distinct interlamellar domains, one occupied by the cations and the second by water of crystallization. Furthermore, as the length of the cation increases, the organodiammonium component spills over into the hydrophilic domain to displace the water of crystallization. When the diphosphonate tether length is increased to n = 5, structure type 5, [H3N(CH2)2NH3][V4O4(OH)2(H2O){O3P(CH2)5PO3}2] x H2O, is obtained. This oxide possesses a 2-D "pillared" network or slab structure, similar in gross profile to that of type 2 oxides and with the cations occupying the interlamellar domain. In contrast, shortening the diphosphonate tether length to n = 2 results in the 3-D oxovanadium organophosphonate structure of the type 7 oxide [H3N(CH2)5NH3][V3O3{O3P(CH2)2PO3}2]. The ethylenediphosphonate ligand does not pillar V-P-O networks in this instance but rather chelates to a vanadium center in the construction of complex polyhedral connectivity of 7. Substitution of piperazinium cations for the simple alkyl chains of types 4, 5, and 7 provides the 2-D pillared layer structure of the type 6 oxides, [H2N(CH2CH2)NH2][V2O2{O3P(CH)(n)PO3H}2] [n = 2 (6a); n = 4 (6b); n = 6 (6c)]. The structural diversity of the system is reflected in the magnetic properties and thermal behavior of the oxides, which are also discussed.  相似文献

The influence of the metal size in the nuclearity of the complexes derived from the hydrazone ligand 2,6-bis(1-salicyloylhydrazonoethyl)pyridine [H(4)daps] has been investigated. We have synthesised a series of new complexes [M(H(x)daps)] x yH(2)O, (x = 2,3; y = 0-3) with M = Ag (1), Cd (2), Al (3), Sn (4) and Pb (6), using an electrochemical procedure. The crystal and molecular structures have been determined for the mononuclear complexes [Sn(H(2)daps)(H(2)O)(2)] x 4H(2)O (5) and [Pb(H(2)daps)(CN)][Et(4)N] (7). Complex is the first neutral Sn(II) complex derived from a pentadentate hydrazone Schiff base ligand. Complex shows the lead coordinated to the hydrazone donor set and a cyanide ligand, being the first reported complex with the lead atom coordinated to a monodentate cyanide group. Additionally, we have synthesised the lead complex using chemical conditions, in the presence of sodium cyanide which allowed us to isolate the neutral complex [Pb(H(2)daps)] (8). Evaporation of these mother liquors led the novel compound [Pb(Hdaphs)(CH(3)COO)] (9). Complex 9 shows the initial ligand hydrolysed in one of the imine bonds giving rise to a new tetradentate ligand [H(2)daphs] coordinated to the lead atom and a bidentate acetate group. Moreover, the solution behaviour of the complexes has been investigated by (1)H, (113)Cd, (117)Sn and (207)Pb NMR techniques. In particular multinuclear NMR has provided new useful data to correlate factors such as oxidation state, coordination number and nature of the kernel donor atoms due to the new coordination found in complexes 5 and 7. The comparative study of the structures of the complexes derived from this pentadentate [N(3)O(2)] hydrazone ligand let us to conclude that the metal size is a key factor to control the nuclearity of the complexes derived from the ligand [H(4)daps].  相似文献

The ground-state properties of the pentameric Co(II) cluster [Co(3)W(D(2)O)(2)(CoW(9)O(34))(2)](12-) were investigated by combining magnetic susceptibility and low-temperature magnetization measurements with a detailed inelastic neutron scattering (INS) study on a fully deuterated polycrystalline sample of Na(12)[Co(3)W(D(2)O)(2)(CoW(9)O(34))(2)].46D(2)O. The encapsulated magnetic Co(5) unit consists of three octahedral and two tetrahedral oxo-coordinated Co(II) ions. Thus, two different types of exchange interactions are present within this cluster: a ferromagnetic interaction between the octahedral Co(II) ions and an antiferromagnetic interaction between the octahedral and the tetrahedral Co(II) ions. As a result of the single-ion anisotropy of the octahedral Co(II) ions, the appropriate exchange Hamiltonian to describe the ground-state properties of the Co(5) spin cluster is anisotropic and is expressed as H = -2 summation operator(i= x,y,z)J(1)(i)[S(1)(i)S(2)(i) + S(2)(i)S(3)(i)] + J(2)(i)[S(1)(i)S(5)(i) + S(2)(i)S(5)(i) + S(2)(i)S(6)(i) + S(3)(i)S(6)(i)], where J(1)(i) are the components of the exchange interaction between the octahedral Co(II) ions and J(2)(i) are the components of the exchange interaction between the octahedral and tetrahedral Co(II) ions (see Figure 1d). The study of the exchange interactions in the two structurally related polyoxoanions [Co(4)(H(2)O)(2)(PW(9)O(34))(2)](10)(-) and [Co(3)W(H(2)O)(2)(ZnW(9)O(34))(2)](12)(-) allowed an independent determination of the ferromagnetic exchange parameters J(1)(x) = 0.70 meV, J(1)(y) = 0.43 meV, and J(1)(z) = 1.51 meV (set a) and J(1)(x) = 1.16 meV, J(1)(y) = 1.16 meV and J(1)(z) = 1.73 meV (set b), respectively. Our analysis proved to be much more sensitive to the size and anisotropy of the antiferromagnetic exchange interaction J(2). We demonstrate that this exchange interaction exhibits a rhombic anisotropy with exchange parameters J(2)(x) = -1.24 meV, J(2)(y) = -0.53 meV, and J(2)(z) = -1.44 meV (set a) or J(1)(x) = -1.19 meV, J(1)(y) = -0.53 meV, and J(1)(z) = -1.44 meV (set b). The two parameter sets reproduce in a satisfactory manner the susceptibility, magnetization, and INS properties of the title compound.  相似文献

The syntheses of the first mixed-metal CeIVMnIV complexes are reported. [CeMn2O3(O2CMe)(NO3)4(H2O)2(bpy)2](NO3) (1; bpy=2,2'-bipyridine) was obtained from the reaction of Mn(NO3)2.xH2O and bpy with (NH4)2Ce(NO3)6 in a 1:1:2 molar ratio in 25% aqueous acetic acid. The complexes [CeMn6O9(O2CR)9(X)(H2O)2]y+ (R=Me, X=NO3-, y=0 (2); R=Me, X=MeOH, y=+1 (3); R=Et, X=NO3-, y=0 (7)) were obtained from reactions involving a [Mn(O2CR)2].4H2O/CeIV ratio of approximately 1:1.5 in concentrated aqueous carboxylic acid. A related reaction in less-concentrated aqueous acetic acid and in the presence of L (where L=2-hydroxy-6-methylpyridine (mhpH), 2-pyrrolidinone (pyroH), or pyridine (py)) gave [Ce3Mn2O6(O2CMe)6(NO3)2(L)a(H2O)b] (L=mhpH, a=4, b=0 (4); L=pyroH, a=2, b=3 (5)) and {{(pyH)3[Ce3Mn2O6(O2CMe)7.5(NO3)3].(HO2CMe)0.5.(H2O)2}2(NO3)}n (6), respectively. Solid-state magnetic susceptibility (chiM) data for compounds 1, 4, and 5 were fit to the theoretical chiMT versus T expression for a MnIV2 complex derived using the isotropic Heisenberg spin Hamiltonian (H=-2J?1? 2) and the Van Vleck equation. The obtained fit parameters were (in the format J, g) 1, -45.7(3) cm(-1), 1.95(5); 4, -0.40(10) cm(-1), 2.0(1); and 5, -0.34(10) cm(-1), 2.0(1), where J is the exchange interaction constant between the two MnIV ions. The data for compound 3 were fit by a matrix diagonalization method that gave J1=-5.8 cm(-1), J2=-0.63 cm(-1), J3 approximately 0, and g=2.0(1), where J1 and J2 are the exchange interactions for the [MnIV2O2(Omicron2CMe)] and [MnIV2O(Omicron2CMe)2] units, respectively, and J3 for a uniform next-nearest-neighbor interaction. Theoretical estimates of the exchange constants in compounds 1 and 3 obtained with the ZILSH method were in excellent and good agreement, respectively, with the values obtained from fits of the magnetization data. The difference for 3 is assigned to the presence of the Ce4+ ion, and atomic bond indices obtained from the ZILSH calculations were used to rationalize the values of the various exchange constants based on metal-ligand bond strengths.  相似文献

The mononuclear macrocyclic complexes [Au(I)([9]aneS2O)2]BF4 x MeCN 1a, [Au(II)([9]aneS2O)2](BF4)2 x 2 MeCN 2a, and [Au(III)([9]aneS2O)2](ClO4)6(H5O2)(H3O)2 3 ([9]aneS2O = 1-oxa-4,7-dithiacyclononane) have been prepared and structurally characterized by single crystal X-ray crystallography. The oxidation of [Au([9]aneS2O)2](+) to [Au([9]aneS2O)2](2+) involves a significant reorganization of the co-ordination sphere from a distorted tetrahedral geometry in [Au([9]aneS2O)2](+) [Au-S 2.3363(12), 2.3877(12), 2.6630(11), 2.7597(13) A] to a distorted square-planar co-ordination geometry in [Au([9]aneS2O)2](2+). The O-donors in [Au([9]aneS2O)2](2+) occupy the axial positions about the Au(II) center [Au...O = 2.718(2) A] with the S-donors occupying the equatorial plane [Au-S 2.428(8) and 2.484(8) A]. [Au([9]aneS2O)2](3+) shows a co-ordination sphere similar to that of [Au([9]aneS2O)2](2+) but with significantly shorter axial Au...O interactions [2.688(2) A] and equatorial Au-S bond lengths [2.340(4) and 2.355(6) A]. The cyclic voltammogram of 1 in MeCN (0.2 M NBu4PF6, 253 K) at a scan rate of 100 mV s(-1) shows an oxidation process at E(p)(a) = +0.74 V and a reduction process at E(p)(c) = +0.41 V versus Fc(+)/Fc assigned to the two-electron Au(III/I) couple and a second reduction process at E(p)(c) = +0.19 V assigned to the Au(I/0) couple. This electrochemical assignment is confirmed by coulometric and UV-vis spectroelectrochemical measurements. Multifrequency EPR studies of the mononuclear Au(II) complex [Au([9]aneS2O)2](2+) in a fluid solution at X-band and as frozen solutions at L-, S-, X-, K-, and Q-band reveal g(iso) = 2.0182 and A(iso) = -44 x 10(-4) cm(-1); g(xx) = 2.010, g(yy) = 2.006, g(zz) = 2.037; A(xx) = -47 x 10(-4) cm(-1), A(yy) = -47 x 10(-4) cm(-1), A(zz) = -47 x 10(-4) cm(-1); P(xx) = -18 x 10(-4) cm(-1), P(yy) = -10 x 10(-4) cm(-1), and P(zz) = 28 x 10(-4) cm(-1). DFT calculations predict a singly occupied molecular orbital (SOMO) with 27.2% Au 5d(xy) character, consistent with the upper limit derived from the uncertainties in the (197)Au hyperfine parameters. Comparison with [Au([9]aneS3)2](2+) reveals that the nuclear quadrupole parameters, P(ii) (i = x, y, z) are very sensitive to the nature of the Au(II) co-ordination sphere in these macrocyclic complexes. The observed geometries and bond lengths for the cations [Au([9]aneS2O)2](+/2+/3+) reflect the preferred stereochemistries of d(10), d(9), and d(8) metal ions, respectively, with the higher oxidation state centers being generated at higher anodic potentials compared to the related complexes [Au([9]aneS3)2](+/2+/3+).  相似文献

The reactivity of [HMCo3(CO)12] and [Et4N][MCo3(CO)12] (M = Fe, Ru) toward phosphine selenides such as Ph3PSe, Ph2P(Se)CH2PPh2, Ph2(2-C5H4N)PSe, Ph2(2-C4H3S)PSe, and Ph2[(2-C5H4N)(2-C4H2S)]PSe has been studied with the aim to obtain new selenido-carbonyl bimetallic clusters. The reactions of the hydrido clusters give two main classes of products: (i) triangular clusters with a mu3-Se capping ligand of the type [MCo2(mu3-Se)(CO)(9-x)L(y)] resulting from the selenium transfer (x = y = 1, 2, with L = monodentate ligand; x = 2, 4, and y = 1, 2, with L = bidentate ligand) (M = Fe, Ru) and (ii) tetranuclear clusters of the type [HMCo3(CO)12xL(y)] obtained by simple substitution of axial, Co-bound carbonyl groups by the deselenized phosphine ligand. The crystal structures of [HRuCo3(CO)7(mu-CO)3(mu-dppy)] (1), [MCo2(mu3-Se)(CO)7(mu-dppy)] (M = Fe (16) or Ru (2)), and [RuCo2(mu3-Se)(CO)7(mu-dppm)] (12) are reported [dppy = Ph2(2-C5H4N)P, dppm = Ph2PCH2PPh2]. Clusters 2, 12, and 16 are the first examples of trinuclear bimetallic selenido clusters substituted by phosphines. Their core consists of metal triangles capped by a mu3-selenium atom with the bidentate ligand bridging two metals in equatorial positions. The core of cluster 1 consists of a RuCo3 tetrahedron, each Co-Co bond being bridged by a carbonyl group and one further bridged by a dppy ligand. The coordination of dppy in a pseudoaxial position causes the migration of the hydride ligand to the Ru(mu-H)Co edge. In contrast to the reactions of the hydrido clusters, those with the anionic clusters [MCo3(CO)12]- do not lead to Se transfer from phosphorus to the cluster but only to CO substitution by the deselenized phosphine.  相似文献

Reactions of niobium and tantalum pentachlorides with tert-butylamine (>/=6 equiv) in benzene afford the dimeric imido complexes [NbCl(2)(N(t)Bu)(NH(t)Bu)(NH(2)(t)Bu)](2) (90%) and [TaCl(2)(N(t)Bu)(NH(t)Bu)(NH(2)(t)Bu)](2) (79%). The niobium complex exists as two isomers in solution, while the tantalum complex is composed of three major isomers and at least two minor isomers. Analogous treatments with isopropylamine (>/=7 equiv) give the monomeric complexes NbCl(2)(N(i)Pr)(NH(i)Pr)(NH(2)(i)Pr)(2) (84%) and TaCl(2)(N(i)Pr)(NH(i)Pr)(NH(2)(i)Pr)(2) (84%). The monomeric complexes are unaffected by treatment with excess isopropylamine, while the dimeric complexes are cleaved to the monomers MCl(2)(N(t)Bu)(NH(t)Bu)(NH(2)(t)Bu)(2) upon addition of excess tert-butylamine in chloroform solution. Treatment of niobium and tantalum pentachlorides with 2,6-diisopropylaniline affords insoluble precipitates of [NH(3)(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3))](2)[NbCl(5)(N(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3)))] (100%) and [NH(3)(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3))](2)[TaCl(5)(N(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3)))] (100%), which react with 4-tert-butylpyridine to afford the soluble complexes [4-t-C(4)H(9)C(5)H(4)NH](2)[NbCl(5)(N(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3)))] (45%) and [4-t-C(4)H(9)C(5)H(4)NH](2)[TaCl(5)(N(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3)))] (44%). Sublimation of [NbCl(2)(N(t)Bu)(NH(t)Bu)(NH(2)(t)Bu)](2), MCl(2)(N(i)Pr)(NH(i)Pr)(NH(2)(i)Pr)(2), and [NH(3)(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3))](2)[MCl(5)(N(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3)))] leads to decomposition to give [MCl(3)(NR)(NH(2)R)](2) as sublimates (32-49%), leaving complexes of the proposed formulation MCl(NR)(2) as nonvolatile residues. By contrast, [TaCl(2)(N(t)Bu)(NH(t)Bu)(NH(2)(t)Bu)](2) sublimes without chemical reaction. Analysis of the organic products obtained from thermal decomposition of [NbCl(2)(N(t)Bu)(NH(t)Bu)(NH(2)(t)Bu)](2) showed isobutylene and tert-butylamine in a 2.2:1 ratio. Mass spectra of [NbCl(2)(N(t)Bu)(NH(t)Bu)(NH(2)(t)Bu)](2), [TaCl(2)(N(t)Bu)(NH(t)Bu)(NH(2)(t)Bu)](2), and [NbCl(3)(N(i)Pr)(NH(2)(i)Pr)](2) showed the presence of dimeric imido complexes, monomeric imido complexes, and nitrido complexes, implying that such species are important gas phase species in CVD processes utilizing these molecular precursors. The crystal structures of [4-t-C(4)H(9)C(5)H(4)NH](2)[NbCl(5)(N(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3)))], [NbCl(3)(N(i)Pr)(NH(2)(i)Pr)](2), [NbCl(3)(N(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3)))(NH(2)(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3)))](2), and [TaCl(3)(N(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3)))(NH(2)(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3)))](2) were determined. [4-t-C(4)H(9)C(5)H(4)NH](2)[NbCl(5)(N(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3)))] crystallizes in the space group P2(1)/c with a = 12.448(3) ?, b = 10.363(3) ?, c = 28.228(3) ?, beta = 94.92(1) degrees, V = 3628(5) ?(3), and Z = 4. [NbCl(3)(N(i)Pr)(NH(2)(i)Pr)](2) crystallizes in the space group P2(1)/c with a = 9.586(4) ?, b = 12.385(4) ?, c = 11.695(4) ?, beta = 112.89(2) degrees, V = 1279.0(6) ?(3), and Z = 2. [NbCl(3)(N(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3)))(NH(2)(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3)))](2) crystallizes in the space group P2(1)/n with a = 10.285(3) ?, b = 11.208(3) ?, c = 23.867(6) ?, beta = 97.53 degrees, V = 2727(1) ?(3), and Z = 2. [TaCl(3)(N(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3)))(NH(2)(2,6-(CH(CH(3))(2))(2)C(6)H(3)))](2) crystallizes in the space group P2(1)/n with a = 10.273(1) ?, b = 11.241(2) ?, c = 23.929(7) ?, beta = 97.69(2) degrees, V = 2695(2) ?(3), and Z = 2. These findings are discussed in the context of niobium and tantalum nitride film depositions from molecular precursors.  相似文献

(3S,6S)-3-Isopropyl-6-methyl-morpholine-2,5-dione (1), and (3S,6S)-3,6-dimethyl-morpholine-2,5-dione (2), do not enter into ring-opening polymerization reactions with metal catalyst precursors commonly employed for lactides, and with Sn(II) octanoate, only low molecular weight oligomers are obtained. Reactions with R2SnX2 compounds, where R = Ph, Bu(n) and p-Me2NC6H4 and X = OPr(i) or NMe2, reveal that ring-opening of the morpholine-2,5-diones does occur, but that polymerization is terminated by the formation of kinetically-inert products such as {Ph2Sn[mu,eta(3)-OCH(Me)CONCH(Pr(i))COOPr(i)]}2 (3), and {[Bu(n))2Sn[mu,eta(3)-OCH(Me)CONCH(Me)CONMe2]}2 (4), with elimination of HX. Ph3SnOPr(i) is seen to react reversibly with morpholine-2,5-diones in toluene-d8 by 1H NMR spectroscopy while (Bu(n))3SnNMe2 reacts by ring opening to give (Bu(n))3SnOCH(Me)C(O)NHCHMeC(O)NMe2. The new organotin compounds have been characterized by 1H, 13C{1H} and 118Sn NMR spectroscopy and compounds 1, 2, 3 and 4 by single crystal X-ray crystallography.  相似文献

The electronic properties of the high spin mononuclear MnII complexes [Mn(tpa)(NCS)2] (1) (tpa=tris-2-picolylamine), [Mn(tBu3-terpy)2](PF6)2 (2) (tBu3-terpy=4,4',4'-tri-tert-butyl-2,2':6',2'-terpyridine) and [Mn(terpy)2](I)2 (3) (terpy=2,2':6',2'-terpyridine) with an N6 coordination sphere have been determined by multifrequency EPR spectroscopy. The X-ray structures of 1.CH3CN and 2.C4H10 O.0.5 C2H5OH.0.5 CH3OH reveal that the MnII ion lies at the center of a distorted octahedron. The D-values of 1-3 all fall in the narrow range of 0.041 to 0.105 cm(-1). The comparison of the results reported here and those found in the literature is consistent with the following observation: the D value is sensitive to the coordination number (6 or 5) of the MnII ion as long as the coordination sphere involves only nitrogen and/or oxygen based ligands. This magneto-structural correlation has been analyzed in this work though DFT model calculations. The zero-field splitting (zfs) parameters of 1-3 have been calculated and are in reasonable agreement with the experimental values. Hypothetical simplified models [Mn(NH3)x(OH2)y]2+ (x+y=5 or 6 and [Mn(NH3)5X]+ (X=OH, Cl)) have been constructed to investigate the origin of the zfs. This investigation reveals i) that D is sensitive to the coordination number (5 or 6) of the MnII ion, ii) for the five coordinate systems the major contribution to D is the spin-orbit coupling part, iii) for the six coordinate systems the major contribution to D is the spin-spin interaction and iv) the deprotonation of a water ligand leads to an increase of D, consistent with the relative ligand fields of OH(-) versus H2O.  相似文献

[Ln[N(SiMe3)2]2(THF)2](Ln = Sm, Yb) reacts with 1 equiv. of carbon-bridged biphenols, 2,2'-methylene-bis(6-tert-butyl-4-methylphenol)(L1H2) or 2,2'-ethylidene-bis(4,6-di-tert-butylphenol)(L2H2), in toluene to give the novel aryloxide lanthanide(II) complexes [[LnL1(THF)n]2](Ln = Sm, n = 3 (1); Ln = Yb, n = 2 (2)) and [[LnL2(THF)3]2](Ln = Sm (5); Ln = Yb (6)) in quantitative yield, respectively. Addition of 2 equiv. of hexamethylphosphoric triamide (HMPA) to a tetrahydrofuran (THF) solution of 1, 2 and 5 affords the corresponding HMPA-coordinated complexes, [[LnL1(THF)m(HMPA)n]2(THF)y](Ln = Sm, n = 2, m = 0, y = 2 (3); Ln = Yb, m = 1, n = 1, y = 6 (4)) and [[SmL2(HMPA)2]2](7) in excellent yields. The single-crystal structural analyses of 3, 4 and 7 revealed that these aryloxide lanthanide(II) complexes are dimeric with two Ln-O bridges. The coordination geometry of each lanthanide metal can be best described as a distorted trigonal bipyramid. Complexes 1-3, 5 and 7 can catalyze the ring-opening polymerization of epsilon-caprolactone (epsilon-CL), and 1-3, along with 5 show moderate activity for the ring-opening polymerization of 2,2-dimethyltrimethylene carbonate (DTC) and the copolymerization of epsilon-CL and DTC to give random copolymers with high molecular weights and relatively narrow molecular weight distributions..  相似文献

Using ethylenediamine as a template, two one-dimensional (1-D) aluminophosphate compounds [AlP(2)O(8)H][NH(3)CH(2)CH(2)NH(3)] (1) and [AlP(2)O(8)][NH(3)CH(2)CH(2)NH(3)][NH(4)] (2) have been prepared from a gel system: 1.0:x:y:44 Al(i-PrO)(3)-H(3)PO(4)-en-EG (x = 3.0-9.0, y = 1.0-11.0). Compound 1 consists of edge-sharing four-membered ring (MR) chains, denoted as AlPO-ESC, and compound 2 consists of corner-sharing 4-MR chains, denoted as AlPO-CSC. The molar ratio of en:H(3)PO(4) in the starting gel has an important influence on the final product. If en:H(3)PO(4) > or = 1, AlPO-CSC is obtained, while if en:H(3)PO(4) < 1, AlPO-ESC is formed. These two chains can transform to each other upon addition of some extra amount of en or H(3)PO(4) to the reaction mixture in which AlPO-ESC or AlPO-CSC is crystallized. On the basis of XRD and (27)Al and (31)P MAS NMR analyses, a possible chain-to-chain transformation mechanism is proposed. The corner-sharing 4-MR chains of AlPO-CSC, as well as the edge-sharing 4-MR chains of AlPO-ESC can be assembled to 3-D open-framework compound NiAlP(2)O(8).C(2)N(2)H(9) through Ni(2+) cations. It is noted that AlPO-CSC remains in the structure of NiAlP(2)O(8).C(2)N(2)H(9). It is believed that AlPO-ESC might be first transformed to AlPO-CSC followed by the assembly to 3-D open-framework of NiAlP(2)O(8).C(2)N(2)H(9) through Ni(2+) cations.  相似文献

In combination with EtAlCl(2) (Mo : Al = 1 : 15) the imido complexes [MoCl(2)(NR)(NR')(dme)] (R = R' = 2,6-Pr(i)(2)-C(6)H(3) (1); R = 2,6-Pr(i)(2)-C(6)H(3), R' = Bu(t) (3); R = R' = Bu(t) (4); dme = 1,2-dimethoxyethane) and [Mo(NHBu(t))(2)(NR)(2)] (R = 2,6-Pr(i)(2)-C(6)H(3) (5); R = Bu(t) (6)) each show moderate TON, activity, and selectivity for the catalytic dimerisation of ethylene, which is influenced by the nature of the imido substituents. In contrast, the productivity of [MoCl(2)(NPh)(2)(dme)] (2) is low and polymerisation is favoured over dimerisation. Catalysis initiated by complexes 1-4 in combination with MeAlCl(2) (Mo : Al = 1 : 15) exhibits a significantly lower productivity. Reaction of complex 5 with EtAlCl(2) (2 equiv.) gives rise to a mixture of products, while addition of MeAlCl(2) affords [MoMe(2)(N-2,6-Pr(i)(2)-C(6)H(3))(2)]. Treatment of 6 with RAlCl(2) (2 equiv.) (R = Me, Et) yields [Mo({μ-N-Bu(t)}AlCl(2))(2)] (7) in both cases. Imido derivatives 1 and 3 react with Me(3)Al and MeAlCl(2) to form the bimetallic complexes [MoMe(2)(N{R}AlMe(2){μ-Cl})(NR')] (R = R' = 2,6-Pr(i)(2)-C(6)H(3) (8); R = 2,6-Pr(i)(2)-C(6)H(3), R' = Bu(t) (10)) and [MoMe(2)(N{R}AlCl(2){μ-Cl})(NR')] (R = R' = 2,6-Pr(i)(2)-C(6)H(3) (9); R = 2,6-Pr(i)(2)-C(6)H(3), R' = Bu(t) (11)), respectively. Exposure of complex 8 to five equivalents of thf or PMe(3) affords the adducts [MoMe(2)(N-2,6-Pr(i)(2)-C(6)H(3))(2)(L)] (L = thf (12); L = PMe(3) (13)), while reaction with NEt(3) (5 equiv.) yields [MoMe(2)(N-2,6-Pr(i)(2)-C(6)H(3))(2)]. The molecular structures of complexes 5, 9 and 11 have been determined.  相似文献

Codeine is an analgesic with uses similar to morphines, but it is of much less effect, i.e., it had a mild sedative effect; codeine is usually used as the phosphate form (Cod.P) and is often administrated by mouth with aspirin of paracetamol. Due to its serious use, if it is in large dose, attention is paid in this research to the synthesis and stereochemistry of new iron, cobalt, nickel, copper, and zinc complexes of this drug in both solution and the solid states. The spectra of these complexes in solution and the study of their stoichiometry refer to the formation of 1:1 ratio of metal (M) to ligand (L). The steriochemical structures of the solid complexes were studied on the basis of their analytical, spectroscopic, magnetic, and thermal data. Infrared spectra proved the presence of MO bonds. Magnetic susceptibility and solid reflectance spectral measurements were used to infer the structures. The prepared complexes were found to have the general formulae [ML(OH)(x)(H2O)(y)](H2O)(z)H3PO4, M: Co(II), Ni(II), and Cu(II), x = 1, y = 0, z = 0; M: Fe(II), x = 1, y = 2, z = 1; Fe(III), x = 2, y = 1, z = 0; Co(III), x = 0, y = 2, z = 1; Zn(II), x = 1, y = 0, z = 3; and L: (Cod.P) of the general formula C18H24NO7P (anhydrate). Octahedral, tetrahedral, and square planer structures were proposed for these complexes depending upon the magnetic and reflectance data and were confirmed by detailed mass and thermal analyses comparative studies.  相似文献

The Pd(II) complexes [Pd([9]aneS(3))(2)](PF(6))(2)·2MeCN (1) ([9]aneS(3) = 1,4,7-trithiacyclononane) and [Pd([18]aneS(6))](PF(6))(2) (2) ([18]aneS(6) = 1,4,7,10,13,16-hexathiacyclooctadecane) can be oxidized electrochemically or chemically oxidized with 70% HClO(4) to [Pd([9]aneS(3))(2)](3+) and [Pd([18]aneS(6))](3+), respectively. These centers have been characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction, and by UV/vis and multifrequency electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopies. The single crystal X-ray structures of [Pd(III)([9]aneS(3))(2)](ClO(4))(6)·(H(3)O)(3)·(H(2)O)(4) (3) at 150 K and [Pd([18]aneS(6))](ClO(4))(6)·(H(5)O(2))(3) (4) at 90 K reveal distorted octahedral geometries with Pd-S distances of 2.3695(8), 2.3692(8), 2.5356(9) and 2.3490(6), 2.3454(5), 2.5474(6) ?, respectively, consistent with Jahn-Teller distortion at a low-spin d(7) Pd(III) center. The Pd(II) compound [Pd([9]aneS(3))(2)](PF(6))(2) shows a one-electron oxidation process in MeCN (0.2 M NBu(4)PF(6), 293 K) at E(1/2) = +0.57 V vs. Fc(+)/Fc assigned to a formal Pd(III)/Pd(II) couple. Multifrequency (Q-, X-, S-, and L-band) EPR spectroscopic analysis of [Pd([9]aneS(3))(2)](3+) and [Pd([18]aneS(6))](3+) gives g(iso) = 2.024, |A(iso(Pd))| = 18.9 × 10(-4) cm(-1); g(xx) = 2.046, g(yy) = 2.041, g(zz) = 2.004;?|A(xx(Pd))| = 24 × 10(-4) cm(-1), |A(yy(Pd))| = 22 × 10(-4) cm(-1), |A(zz(Pd))| = 14 × 10(-4) cm(-1), |a(xx(H))| = 4 × 10(-4) cm(-1), |a(yy(H))| = 5 × 10(-4) cm(-1), |a(zz(H))| = 5.5 × 10(-4) cm(-1) for [Pd([9]aneS(3))(2)](3+), and g(iso) = 2.015, |A(iso(Pd))| = 18.8× 10(-4) cm(-1); g(xx) = 2.048 g(yy) = 2.036, g(zz) = 1.998; |a(xx(H))| = 5, |a(yy(H))| = 5, |a(zz(H))| = 6 × 10(-4) cm(-1); |A(xx(Pd))| = 23× 10(-4) cm(-1), |A(yy(Pd))| = 22 × 10(-4) cm(-1), |A(zz(Pd))| = 4 × 10(-4) cm(-1) for [Pd([18]aneS(6))](3+). Both [Pd([9]aneS(3))(2)](3+) and [Pd([18]aneS(6))](3+) exhibit five-line superhyperfine splitting in the g(zz) region in their frozen solution EPR spectra. Double resonance spectroscopic measurements, supported by density functional theory (DFT) calculations, permit assignment of this superhyperfine to through-bond coupling involving four (1)H centers of the macrocyclic ring. Analysis of the spin Hamiltonian parameters for the singly occupied molecular orbital (SOMO) in these complexes gives about 20.4% and 25% Pd character in [Pd([9]aneS(3))(2)](3+) and [Pd([18]aneS(6))](3+), respectively, consistent with the compositions calculated from scalar relativistic DFT calculations.  相似文献

The reaction of [Ni2((i)Pr2Im)4(COD)] 1a or [Ni((i)Pr2Im)2(eta(2)-C2H4)] 1b with different fluorinated arenes is reported. These reactions occur with a high chemo- and regioselectivity. In the case of polyfluorinated aromatics of the type C6F5X such as hexafluorobenzene (X = F) octafluorotoluene (X = CF3), trimethyl(pentafluorophenyl)silane (X = SiMe3), or decafluorobiphenyl (X = C6F5) the C-F activation regioselectively takes place at the C-F bond in the para position to the X group to afford the complexes trans-[Ni((i)Pr2Im)2(F)(C6F5)]2, trans-[Ni((i)Pr2Im)2(F)(4-(CF3)C6F4)] 3, trans-[Ni((i)Pr2Im)2(F)(4-(C6F5)C6F4)] 4, and trans-[Ni((i)Pr2Im)2(F)(4-(SiMe3)C6F4)] 5. Complex 5 was structurally characterized by X-ray diffraction. The reaction of 1a with partially fluorinated aromatic substrates C6H(x)F(y) leads to the products of a C-F activation trans-[Ni((i)Pr2Im)2(F)(2-C6FH4)] 7, trans-[Ni((i)Pr2Im)2(F)(3,5-C6F2H3)] 8, trans-[Ni((i)Pr2Im)2(F)(2,3-C6F2H3)] 9a and trans-[Ni((i)Pr2Im)2(F)(2,6-C6F2H3)] 9b, trans-[Ni((i)Pr2Im)2(F)(2,5-C6F2H3)] 10, and trans-[Ni((i)Pr2Im)2(F)(2,3,5,6-C6F4H)] 11. The reaction of 1a with octafluoronaphthalene yields exclusively trans-[Ni((i)Pr2Im)2(F)(1,3,4,5,6,7,8-C10F7)] 6a, the product of an insertion into the C-F bond in the 2-position, whereas for the reaction of 1b with octafluoronaphthalene the two isomers trans-[Ni((i)Pr2Im)2(F)(1,3,4,5,6,7,8-C10F7)] 6a and trans-[Ni((i)Pr2Im)2(F)(2,3,4,5,6,7,8-C10F7)] 6b are formed in a ratio of 11:1. The reaction of 1a or of 1b with pentafluoropyridine at low temperatures affords trans-[Ni((i)Pr2Im)2(F)(4-C5NF4)] 12a as the sole product, whereas the reaction of 1b performed at room temperature leads to the generation of trans-[Ni((i)Pr2Im)2(F)(4-C5NF4)] 12a and trans-[Ni((i)Pr2Im)2(F)(2-C5NF4)] 12b in a ratio of approximately 1:2. The detection of intermediates as well as kinetic studies gives some insight into the mechanistic details for the activation of an aromatic carbon-fluorine bond at the {Ni((i)Pr2Im)2} complex fragment. The intermediates of the reaction of 1b with hexafluorobenzene and octafluoronaphthalene, [Ni((i)Pr2Im)2(eta(2)-C6F6)] 13 and [Ni((i)Pr2Im)2(eta(2)-C10F8)] 14, have been detected in solution. They convert into the C-F activation products. Complex 14 was structurally characterized by X-ray diffraction. The rates for the loss of 14 at different temperatures for the C-F activation of the coordinated naphthalene are first order and the estimated activation enthalpy Delta H(double dagger) for this process was determined to be Delta H(double dagger) = 116 +/- 8 kJ mol(-1) (Delta S(double dagger) = 37 +/- 25 J K(-1) mol(-1)). Furthermore, density functional theory calculations on the reaction of 1a with hexafluorobenzene, octafluoronaphthalene, octafluorotoluene, 1,2,4-trifluorobenzene, and 1,2,3-trifluorobenzene are presented.  相似文献
