为实现结构紧凑、高灵敏度的光纤压力(液压)传感器,提出了一种应用于液压传感的边孔结构光子晶体光纤.基于全矢量有限元方法,研究了传统光子晶体光纤和边孔结构光子晶体光纤的有效折射、模式等特性以及在液压情况下的应力和应力特性.根据光弹效应给出了传统光子晶体光纤和边孔结构光子晶体光纤在液压情况下的折射率变化特性.模拟结果表明边孔结构光子晶体光纤可以获得更大的液压传感灵敏度,增大边孔半径可以提高液压传感灵敏度,因此结构优化的边孔结构光子晶体光纤可以实现高灵敏度的光纤压力(液压)压力传感器.  相似文献

We study the effect of metallic cladding on the band structure of a two-dimensional photonic crystal slab. Band structures of a honeycomb patterned two-dimensional photonic crystal slab, with/without a metal-clad or a perfect conductor clad, are calculated using both the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method and the plane wave expansion (PWE) method. We explain the changes of the band structure due to cladding. We also show that the band structure of a metal-clad photonic crystal can be obtained effectively from the odd modes of the air bridge type dielectric photonic crystal slab, thicker than the metal-clad photonic crystal by a factor larger than two.  相似文献

利用传输矩阵法研究了镜像异质三周期一维光子晶体中的光子局域态随单轴应力发生变化的特性. 对于镜像异质三周期光子晶体, 由于其镜像结构, 破坏了光子晶体的有序性, 产生了一个缺陷态, 使其在较宽的光子禁带中心有一个光子局域态透射峰. 研究表明: 当对镜像异质三周期光子晶体施加单轴应力时, 其中的光子局域态透射峰会随着应力的改变而发生剧烈的变化. 当外部微弱的机械应力施加到光子晶体上时, 对光子晶体形成一个拉伸应变, 拉伸应变引起光子晶体结构的变化, 进而大幅度影响光子局域态透射峰的透射率.结果表明: 透射峰的透射率明显受单轴应力的影响. 这些特性可为用此结构的光子晶体设计超高灵敏度压力传感器提供理论参考. 关键词: 光子晶体 单轴应力 光子局域态 传输矩阵  相似文献

用传输矩阵法计算了两端对称缺陷复合光子晶体结构的光传输特性。计算结果表明:两端对称缺陷复合光子晶体[D(AB)mD]2结构中的禁带出现两个完全共振透射峰。通过控制入射光强来微调光子晶体材料的介电常数,使得完全共振透射峰移动,且介电常数变化越大,共振透射峰偏移越大,从而形成高效率的双通道光开关。当光子晶体为[D(AB)mD]N结构时,每个完全共振透射峰都分裂为N-1条,这样可通过调节N同时实现所需要通道数目的高效多通道光开关和多通道滤波器。  相似文献

The reflection spectra of a cholesteric photonic crystal have been measured. The experimental spectra are described by a theoretical expression that follows from the analytical solution of the Maxwell equations. The photonic bandgap width Δν has been determined. The photonic bandgap width changes abruptly as the position of the diffraction band changes. The temperature dependence of the relative bandgap width Δν/ν0 and the order parameter for a photonic crystal are described by Landau’s theory of phase transitions.  相似文献

应用传输矩阵法研究了一维光子晶体的禁带特性,数值模拟得到了一维光子晶体TE模、TM模和TE/TM模禁带结构,计算结果表明,介质层的厚度发生变化时,禁带宽度发生变化。研究结果为一维光子晶体器件的设计提供了理论依据。  相似文献

利用平面波展开法对二维光子晶体在H极化下的光子带隙进行数值计算。考虑了溶液温度和物质的量浓度对光子带隙的影响。结果表明,以半乳糖和木糖的水溶液作为空气孔中介质材料,当溶液物质的量浓度一定时,光子带隙随溶液温度的变化而改变;而当溶液温度一定时,光子带隙随溶液物质的量浓度发生变化。较高物质的量浓度和较高温度的溶液更容易形成光子带隙。在某些情况下,木糖的光子带隙大于半乳糖的光子带隙。  相似文献

We have experimentally demonstrated a cation and anion sensor by using short linear photonic crystal microcavities with an embedded quantum dot active region. The photonic crystal microcavity covered with an ion-selective polymer forms a submicrometer optical detection system sensitive to small changes of perchlorate anion (ClO4(-)) and calcium cation (Ca2+) concentrations.  相似文献

采用Si和SiO2两种介质材料构造一维缺陷光子晶体,缺陷层介质为Si,利用传输矩阵法对带有缺陷的一维光子晶体的传光特性进行了理论分析,并得到其带隙特性.由于缺陷的存在,使得光子晶体的透射谱中产生缺陷峰.当被测温度变化时,根据两种介质的热光效应和热膨胀效应,光子晶体介质和缺陷层的光学厚度和折射率发生变化,透射谱缺陷峰产生漂移,由缺陷峰的中心波长漂移量得到被测温度的大小.构建了一维缺陷光子晶体测量温度的实验系统,实验结果表明缺陷峰中心波长与光子晶体所受的温度呈线性关系,测量灵敏度为0—2 关键词: 温度测量 一维光子晶体 传输矩阵法 缺陷峰  相似文献

负折射率材料因为其奇异的特性成为广泛研究的对象,尤其是光子晶体平板的完美成像.硅材料以其良好的物理性质成为当今集成光学领域中应用最广的材料之一.本文以硅介质柱在空气中周期性排列构成六角结构的光子晶体平板为例,运用平面波展开法进行光子晶体能带计算并运用时域有限差分法模拟改变光子晶体平板成像并讨论表面结构对成像的影响.光子晶体平板等效折射率为-1时,通过改变上下侧最外层介质柱的半径或是侧向移动最外层介质柱发现:当光子晶体平板表面结构发生改变时光子晶体平板仍能成像但像点强度发生变化.当光子晶体平板表面结构的改变在一定范围时,所成像的位置发生改变且位置变化符合光子晶体成像经典的Veselago关系;当光子晶体表面结构的变化超过该范围时,所成像与物的相位发生反相同时像点位置发生"巨变",此时Veselago关系已不成立.数值模拟表明:光子晶体平板表面结构的改变可以有效地改变该光子晶体平板所成像的强度、位置和相位.  相似文献

A novel one-dimensional plasma photonic crystal whose crystal orientation can change spontaneously is demonstrated using a dielectric barrier discharge with two liquid electrodes. The orientation of the plasma photonic crystal will vary from transverse to longitudinal or vary from longitudinal to transverse and then revert to longitudinal by self-adjustment, while the experimental conditions are kept fixed. The dispersion relation of these plasma photonic crystals are calculated, and the changes of the photonic band diagrams during the orientation transition are studied.  相似文献

The eigenexcitation and transmission spectra of a one-dimensional resonant photonic crystal are studied for TM and TE polarized electromagnetic waves. The crystal considered is a layered structure consisting of alternating isotropic layers and layers of a resonantly absorbing gas. The performed calculations show that the band structure of the spectra of the resonant photonic crystal significantly changes as the angle of incidence and the density of the resonant gas are varied. The structure of the spectra of additional transmission in the bandgap of the resonant photonic crystal is studied taking into account the decay of electromagnetic modes. The possibilities of controlling the spectrum of electromagnetic modes are indicated.

利用传输矩阵法对含有缺陷层光子晶体缺陷模的透射率进行计算,主要讨论了材料的吸收效应对光子晶体温感特性的影响。以波长为800 nm处缺陷态的透射峰作为研究对象,通过MATLAB数学软件数值模拟仿真发现:随着温度逐渐增加,缺陷模的透射率随之减小,说明光子晶体对温度变化有一定的灵敏度;介质材料的吸收效应会使透射峰随温度变化的速度减小,即光子晶体的缺陷模对温度变化的灵敏度减小;介质材料的消光系数越大,光子晶体的缺陷模对温度变化的灵敏度则越小。  相似文献

Based on colloidal crystals of various dimensionality, hybrid metal-dielectric plasmonic-photonic heterocrystals have been prepared. It has been shown that the spectra of optical transmission of heterocrystals are mostly controlled by the sum of contributions of composing plasmonic and photonic crystals. At the same time, there are a number of phenomena caused by the mutual effect of heterostructure components, which lead to a deviation of observed optical properties from the linear superposition of responses of these crystals. In particular, it has been found that the anomalous transmission controlled by the plasmonic crystal decreases with increasing the dimensionality of the photonic crystal attached to it. At the same time, light reflection on a metallized surface changes light diffraction in photonic crystals and leads to Fabry-Perot oscillation amplification. It has been assumed that an intermediate layer is formed, in which Bloch modes of the photonic crystal and surface plasmon-polaritons of the plasmonic crystal are hybridized.  相似文献

运用Bloch定理和传输矩阵方法,研究了与色散介质毗邻的由两种材料组成的半无限一维光子晶体局域表面态的电场和色散关系.和以空气为背景的一维光子晶体相比,毗邻色散介质的光子晶体表面模色散曲线在一定堆积次序下会在较低的带隙中发生断开,较高带隙中的表面模群速度在不同堆积次序下会有很大差异.当与色散介质毗邻的物质折射率较大时,较高带隙中的表面模群速度较小;与色散介质毗邻的物质折射率较小时,较高带隙中表面模的群速度较大.  相似文献

The modification of the luminescence of silicon nanocrystals experiencing the effect of a photonic bandgap in a 2D photonic crystal was investigated. The time-integrated photoluminescence spectra detected in the plane of the photonic crystal revealed a dip in the light emission corresponding to the wavelength of the bandgap, whose position changes according to the geometry of the prepatterned pillar array. The calculated emission pattern for a pointlike dipole placed in such a structure suggests an inhibition of the spontaneous emission rate at certain directions as a physical reason for the observed modification of luminescence.  相似文献

为了得到一维掺杂光子晶体的共振理论,建立了一维掺杂光子晶体的谐振腔模型,利用谐振腔的共振条件推导出缺陷模频率满足的解析公式,从理论上解释了产生一维掺杂光子晶体缺陷模的物理机理.利用频率的解析公式对缺陷模的频率随入射角、杂质光学厚度以及杂质折射率的变化规律进行了研究,解释了一维掺杂光子晶体缺陷模的变化规律.与特征矩阵法的计算结果相比,其结果完全吻合,从而证明了共振理论的正确性,弥补了一维光子晶体研究中数值计算方法的不足.  相似文献

We investigated the optical properties of a circular photonic crystal (CPC) for which the distance between lattices was systematically distributed. The transmission spectra of CPC composed of alumina cylinders were examined in the frequency region from 0 to 20 GHz. We show that photonic gaps are obtained not only in CPCs but also in phase-shifted CPCs. The isotropic photonic gaps are evidenced by changes in the incident angle of a millimeter wave.  相似文献
