本文探讨了采用溶胶一凝胶新工艺制作变折射率棒透镜的干燥工艺.利用挥发性低的丁醇做溶剂以及增加凝胶中的OH基,可以避免在干燥过程中凝胶的开裂,得到透明的、无裂缝的变折射率干凝胶棒.  相似文献

Useful films can be formed by drying colloidal dispersions, but the negative capillary pressure generated often promotes cracks. Complex lateral flows during drying compromised previous measurements of the pressure required for cracking. Here we report data for the onset of cracking, and the additional cracks that appear at higher pressures, from high-pressure ultrafiltration experiments on homogeneously compressed films. A comparison of the data with expectations from theory confirms that cracking is controlled by elastic recovery, though an energy criterion only provides a lower bound. Our experiments also identify the role of flaws as nucleation sites that initiate cracks.  相似文献

We designed a simple experiment to study both the dynamical and statistical properties of cracking that occurs in a one-dimensional system composed of wet clay (or similar material) exposed to shrinkage induced by desiccation. We study both the dynamical formation of cracks and the statistical characteristics of the final cracks pattern. We observe that the drying rate has a strong influence on the way cracks appear and grow. We find that the final crack width is related to the order of apparition of the cracks. We discuss the statistical distributions of cracks width and separation between two adjacent cracks. We also study the correlations between these two quantities. Our results are compared to the predictions of existing models. Finally, a comparison with another kind of clay is made. Received 6 May 2002 and Received in final form 5 July 2002  相似文献

Near-field scattering of surface waves by a single surface-breaking crack in solid medium has been well investigated by prior researchers. However, there have been few studies for more realistic problems involving near scattering of surface waves by distributed surface-breaking cracks. One possible reason is complexity caused by the interaction of surface waves between multiple cracks. In this study, interaction of surface waves between two surface-breaking cracks with various crack spacing was investigated. The experimental study was performed on Plexiglas specimens with non-contact sensors (air-coupled sensors, and a laser vibrometer), and compared with numerical simulation results. The effects of crack depth h, spacing a, and the number of cracks N on surface wave transmission were studied. Analyses show that for the very small crack spacing (a/h<0.2), the distributed cracks can be regarded as a single surface-breaking crack. However, for a/h ranging between approximately 1 and 6, transmission coefficient of surface waves is significantly affected by interaction between cracks. The transmission coefficients have the lowest value when a/h is between 2 and 3. When a/h is large (a/h>6), transmission coefficients obtained from experiments, and numerical simulations agree with the theoretical results based on non-interaction crack assumption.  相似文献

We report the fabrication of ordered arrays of oriented and bent carbon nanotube on a patterned silicon surface with a micron scale spacing extending over millimeter size surface areas. We suggest that the patterning is controlled by the hydrodynamic behavior of a fluid front and orientation and bending mechanisms are facilitated by the pinned carbon nanotubes trapped by the liquid-solid-vapor contact line. The bending of the pinned nanotubes occurs along the shrinking receding front of the drying microdroplets. The formation of stratified microfluidic layers is vital for stimulating periodic instabilities of the contact line.  相似文献

By simulation and theory, we study the probability of observing N molecular centers within molecular sized volumes for a Lennard-Jones fluid near liquid-vapor coexistence. For large volumes and small N, the probability distribution differs markedly from Gaussian. The free energy per unit surface area to form empty volumes (i.e., cavities) is a rapidly varying function of the radius for small cavities. It becomes constant for large volumes. The source of these behaviors is the occurrence of drying (i.e., solvent depletion) at the cavity surface. The crossover to drying occurs on microscopic length scales, with significant density depletion found for cavities with radii of the order of two or more Lennard-Jones diameters. Reasonable agreement is found between the simulation results and the theory developed by Lum, Chandler, and Weeks [J. Phys. Chem. B 103, 4570 (1999)].  相似文献

A hyperspectral imaging system is developed and is used to identify cracks and fracture defects in solar cells. The basic principles and key technologies of this system are presented, along with a characterization of its performance. The system can provided both single-band images and spectrums of solar cells by laser scanning and hyperspectral imaging. The spectral angle mapper algorithm is used to identify cracks on the surface of solar cells. Experiment results show that this is a non-contact, no-destructive method for detecting cracks in solar cells.  相似文献

针对传统的基于超声信号的高铁钢轨无损检测方法对于表面微裂纹检测效果不佳的问题,提出了一种基于光声信号的高铁钢轨表面缺陷检测方法.首先,使用有限元及K-wave方法建立了钢轨模型并获得了模拟光声信号;然后利用时间反演的方法对钢轨表面的光声图像进行了重建,并研究了不同传感器中心频率对成像结果的影响;最后设计实验采集了钢轨表面的光声信号并进行了处理和分析.实验结果表明,基于光声信号的高铁钢轨表面缺陷检测方法对于表面微裂纹有很好的检测效果,该方法在钢轨探伤领域有较大的可行性及发展潜力.  相似文献

基于压痕实验和连续刚度测量法得到了熔石英材料硬度和弹性模量随压入深度的变化曲线, 系统分析了材料由延性到脆性转变的过程, 确定了熔石英晶体在静态/准静态印压和动态刻划时产生裂纹的临界载荷和临界深度。渐变载荷刻划实验结果表明, 划痕过程诱发的裂纹对法向载荷有很强的依赖性, 载荷较小时材料去除方式为延性域去除。随着法向载荷的增加, 首先产生垂直于试件表面的中位裂纹和平行于试件表面方向扩展的侧向裂纹, 而在试件表面上并没有产生明显的特征。载荷进一步增加后, 侧向裂纹扩展并形成了明亮区域, 最终诱发了沿垂直于或近似垂直于压头运动方向扩展的径向裂纹, 实现了材料的脆性去除。  相似文献

以间苯二酚(R)-甲醛(F)为原料,加入表面活性剂P123以增强材料的骨架强度的方法,采用常压干燥技术制备了RF碳气凝胶,并进行了二氧化碳活化以调节其孔结构。扫描电子显微镜(SEM)测试表明,常压干燥的碳气凝胶结构中具有更大的纳米颗粒,骨架结构变粗,活化使碳气凝胶骨架结构更加致密;红外吸收光谱(FTIR)表明,表面活性剂P123中的醚键与RF苯环中的羟基存在强的相互作用,碳化后P123特征峰消失;热重曲线(TG和DTG)分析说明P123在440 ℃左右分解完全,不会对碳气凝胶的成分产生影响,并能起到良好的造孔作用;氮气吸附表明常压干燥制备的碳气凝胶比表面积约为570 m2/g,活化之后的比表面积高达3 500 m2/g左右。  相似文献

The second harmonic of a Rayleigh wave passing through a minute surface crack has been numerically analyzed by semi-explicit FEM including special elements which account for a nonlinear stress-strain relation at crack surfaces. Minute cracks perpendicular to a free, flat surface close under compressive stress when width of the crack opening is less than the longitudinal amplitude of the Rayleigh wave. Thereafter, compressive and shear stresses are partially transmitted through the closed cracks, whereas tensile and shear stresses are not transmitted through cracks that remain open. This leads to marked nonlinear ultrasonic response. Calculation was performed for an aluminum block having a surface crack. The transverse component of the Rayleigh wave propagating through the cracks shows distorted waveforms, making the second harmonic amplitude clearly noticeable. In an experiment, the second harmonic component of the leaky Rayleigh wave was detected for a simple crack model consisting of two aluminum blocks, by use of a PVDF line-focused transducer. The results of the experiment show that the second harmonic amplitude is a second-order function of the fundamental wave amplitude, and is more pronounced for low compressive stress applied to close the crack surfaces.  相似文献

采用显微红外光谱法结合表面形貌分析研究了分别填充碳酸钙、绢英粉、云母、高岭土和硅藻土的高密度聚乙烯(HDPE)的自然光氧化随深度的分布。研究结果表明无机填料对HDPE光氧化的深度分布有很大的影响。填充碳酸钙的HDPE从表面到内部都没有明显氧化发生。而填充绢英粉、云母、高岭土和硅藻土的HDPE从表面到内部羰基指数逐渐减小,氧化深度都在150 μm以上。HDPE复合材料沿深度方向的氧化情况与其断面裂纹的产生情况吻合。结合无机填料的紫外吸收特性讨论了它们对HDPE光氧化的影响机理。  相似文献

利用有限元法模拟了金属板材中激光激发的声表面波经过缺陷位置时发生散射的瞬态过程,采用线状激光源作为超声导波的激发源.针对三种不同深度的表面缺陷以及三种亚表面缺陷的模型进行了对比计算,结果显示缺陷的深度及位置对声表面波的时域特征存在显著的影响.表面缺陷深度越深将产生较大幅度的表面反射回波,亚表面缺陷的影响将取决于缺陷上顶面距离板材上表面的距离.因此,数值模拟结果表明通过分析激光产生的表面波形可以判定近表面缺陷的尺寸和所处的位置.  相似文献

本文分别用常态、超临界乙醇和超临界CO2干燥法干燥钛酸正丁酯的醇凝胶,制备纳米TiO2光催化剂。应用XRD,FTIR,FT-Raman和Fluorescent spectrum(FS)等光谱技术对催化剂进行了表征。以光催化降解罗丹明B为模型反应,比较所得样品光催化活性。实验结果表明,不同干燥方法对催化剂的晶相结构、半导体能带结构、光吸收性能、表面性质及光催化活性均产生显著的影响,用超临界CO2干燥法制备的TiO2光催化剂具有较好的光催化活性。  相似文献

随着勘探开发的不断深入,渤海油田面临越来越多的疑难储层,这类储层流体性质识别与裂缝孔隙度评价成为测井评价的难点。本文依据Biot理论,描述了存在裂隙条件下的含裂隙Biot理论,形成改进的孔隙介质模型。根据该模型利用阵列声波测井数据进行反演得到裂缝孔隙度,同时通过流体置换,得到不同流体对应的岩石体积模量,对其进行交会判别流体性质,实现了阵列声波测井裂缝孔隙度定量评价与流体性质识别综合应用。利用该模型对渤海油田十几口井进行计算,结果表明该方法对于常规砂泥岩和复杂岩性储层均能取得较好效果,本文提出的储层流体性质识别与裂缝孔隙度评价方法,有助于扩展阵列声声波测井的应用范围。  相似文献

Using the methods of theoretical thermohydromechanics, a model of protein roller formation at the periphery of a drying biofluid drop is constructed. As basic mechanisms of mass transfer-, temperature-, concentration-, and gravity-induced convections are considered, which produce a global toroidal flow with an ascending fluid filament at the center, dipping fluid along the free surface, and compensatory centripetal flow at the bottom. The shape of the protein roller is analyzed under the assumptions that the material deposition rate is proportional to the (i) material concentration and (ii) material flux.  相似文献

Laser hybrid welding of an eccentric fillet joint causes a complex geometry for fatigue load by 4-point bending. The weld surface geometry and topography were measured and studied in order to understand the crack initiation mechanisms. The crack initiation location and the crack propagation path were studied and compared to Finite Element stress analysis, taking into account the surface macro- and micro-geometry. It can be explained why the root and the upper weld toe are uncritical for cracking. The cracks that initiate from the weld bead show higher fatigue strength than the samples failing at the lower weld toe, as can be explained by a critical radius for the toe below which surface ripples instead determine the main stress raiser location for cracking. The location of maximum surface stress is related to a combination of throat depth, toe radius and sharp surface ripples along which the cracks preferably propagate.  相似文献

Take the cores and surface weathered soil from the Cretaceous red beds in the western of Dongshengmiao mine of Inner Mongolia and analysis with near-infrared spectroscopy. The result shows that near-infrared spectroscopy can identify mineral quickly through the characteristic absorption peaks of each group. The Cretaceous red beds in the western of Dongshengmiao mine is argillaceous cementation, it is mainly composed of quartz, feldspar, montmorillonite, illite, chlorite, muscovite etc, the mineral composition is mainly affected by the upstream source area. The clay mineral like montmorillonite water swelling and uneven drying shrinkage expands the original crack and creates new cracks, reduces its strength, which is the mainly reason of its disintegration. According to the composition of clay mineral, we speculate its weathering process is mainly physical weathering, the climate during the weathering is cold and dry. The results can not only improve the geological feature of the mining area, but also show that the near-infrared spectroscopy technology can analyze the mineral composition of soil and rock effectively on the basis of Mineral spectroscopy, which demonstrates the feasibility of the near-infrared spectroscopy can analyze minerals in soil and rock quickly, that shows the feasibility in geology study, provides new ideas for the future research of soil and rock.  相似文献
