本文研究了弱(序列式)紧正则诱导极限与凸弱(序列式)紧正则诱导极限.满足Retakh条件(Mo)的(LF)-空间必为凸弱(序列式)紧正则的,但未必为弱(序列式)紧正则的.对于弱序列式完备Frechet空间的可数诱导极限,Retakh条件(Mo)蕴涵弱(序列式)紧正则性.特别地,对于Kothe(LF)-序列空间Ep(1≤p<∞),Retakh条件(Mo)等价于弱(序列式)紧正则性.对于这类空间,利用Vogt的有关结论,给出了弱(序列式)紧正则性的特征.  相似文献

In this paper, we study a new concept of weak regularity of functions and sets in Asplund spaces. We show that this notion includes prox-regular functions, functions whose subdifferential is weakly submonotone and amenable functions in infinite dimension. We establish also that weak regularity is equivalent to Mordukhovich regularity in finite dimension. Finally, we give characterizations of the weak regularity of epi-Lipschitzian sets in terms of their local representations.  相似文献

It is proved that a normed space, whose dimension is at least three, admitting a nonzero linear operator reversing Birkhoff orthogonality is an inner product space, which releases the smoothness condition in one of J. Chmieliński’s results. Further characterizations of inner product spaces are obtained by studying properties of linear operators related to Birkhoff orthogonality and isosceles orthogonality.  相似文献

We look for characterizations of those locally convex spaces that satisfy the strict Mackey convergence condition within the context of spaces with webs. We will say that a locally convex space has a boundedly compatible web if it has a web of absolutely convex sets whose members behave like zero neighborhoods in a metrizable locally convex space. It will be shown that these locally convex spaces satisfy the strict Mackey convergence condition. One consequence of this result will be a characterization of boundedly retractive inductive limits. We will also prove that if E is locally complete and webbed, then the strict Mackey convergence condition is equivalent to E having a boundedly compatible web.  相似文献

In [2] those locally convex spaces E, called GN-spaces, were investigated, for which every closed linear mapping from E to any normed space F is continuous. Here we study the smaller class of spaces E, called GM-spaces, which arise by admitting now for F all metrizable locally convex spaces. The GM-spaces have characterizations and permanence properties similar to those for GN-spaces. Main results are the barrelledness of every dense subspace of a GM-space, the finite dimension of the bounded subsets of separated GM-spaces, an embedding theorem., and the existence of separated GM-spaces which do not have the finest locally convex topology.  相似文献

In this paper, 2-microlocal Herz type Besov and Triebel-Lizorkin spaces with variable exponents are introduced for the first time. Then, we give characterizations of these spaces by so-called Peetre's maximal functions. Further, the atomic and molecular decompositions of these spaces are obtained. Finally, using the characterizations of the spaces by local means and molecular decomposition we obtain the wavelet characterizations.  相似文献

New characterizations of real inner product spaces (euclidean spaces) among metric spaces are obtained from familiar formulas expressing the altitude (height) of a triangle as a function of the lengths of its sides. Other properties related to the altitude of a triangle are also shown to result in characterizations of euclidean spaces, or euclidean and hyperbolic spaces.  相似文献

We give various characterizations for algorithmically random configurations on full shift spaces, based on randomness tests. We show that all nonsurjective cellular automata destroy randomness and surjective cellular automata preserve randomness. Furthermore all one-dimensional cellular automata preserve nonrandomness. The last three assertions are also true if one replaces randomness by richness – a form of pseudorandomness, which is compatible with computability. The last assertion is true even for an arbitrary dimension.  相似文献

The goal of this paper is to provide wavelet characterizations for anisotropic Besov spaces. Depending on the anisotropy, appropriate biorthogonal tensor product bases are introduced and Jackson and Bernstein estimates are proved for two-parameter families of finite-dimensional spaces. These estimates lead to characterizations for anisotropic Besov spaces by anisotropy-dependent linear approximation spaces and lead further on to interpolation and embedding results. Finally, wavelet characterizations for anisotropic Besov spaces with respect to Lp-spaces with 0<p<∞ are derived.  相似文献

For curvilinear Lipschitz polyhedral domains Ω, explicit characterizations of the tangential trace spaces of H 1(Ω) are presented. These extend the original characterizations given by Buffa and Ciarlet that hold on Lipschitz polyhedral domains with plane faces. The tangential trace spaces of H 1(Ω) are fundamental for the definition, analysis and intuitive understanding of the trace spaces of H ( curl ,Ω) and therefore, more general characterizations of the latter are obtained at the same time. In this paper we introduce two properties for ideals of polynomials between Banach spaces and showhow useful they are to deal with several a priori different problems. In this paper, we characterize boundedness and compactness of difference of composition operators from the space of Cauchy integral transforms to Bloch-type spaces. Our characterizations are free from pseudo-hyperbolic metric, which is a common feature of all the characterizations of difference of composition operators acting between different spaces of holomorphic functions. In this paper, we consider the boundedness and compactness of the differences of differentiation composition operators from the space of fractional Cauchy transforms to the Bloch-type spaces and the weighted Dirichlet spaces. Surprisingly, these characterizations are free from pseudo-hyperbolic metric, which is a common feature of all the preceding characterizations of difference of differentiation composition operators on various spaces of holomorphic functions.  相似文献

Alexandroff T 0 -spaces have been studied as topological models of the supports of digital images and as discrete models of continuous spaces in theoretical physics. Recently, research has been focused on the dimension of such spaces. Here we study the small inductive dimension of the digital space X(W) constructed in [15] as a minimal open quotient of a fenestration W of R n . There are fenestrations of R n giving rise to digital spaces of Alexandroff dimension different from n , but we prove that if W is a fenestration, each of whose elements is a bounded convex subset of R n , then the Alexandroff dimension of the digital space X(W) is equal to n .
