The transport experiments of Co2+, Ni2+, Cu2+, Zn2+, Cd2+, Ag+ and Pb2+ metal cations were carried out by dibenzo-18-crown-6 (DB18C6), dibenzyl-diaza-18-crown-6 (Dibenzyl-diaza-18C6) and di-tert-butyl-dibenzo-18-crown-6 (Di-tert-butyl-DB18C6) using chloroform (CHCl3), 1,2-dichloroethane (1,2-DCE) and nitrobenzene (NB) organic solvents as liquid membranes. The source phase contained equimolar concentration of these metal cations and the source and receiving phases being buffered at pH=5 and pH=3, respectively. The obtained results show that the selectivity and the efficiency of transport for these heavy metal cations change with the nature of the ligand and also the organic solvents, which were used as liquid membranes in these experiments. A good selectivity was observed for silver (I) ion by dibenzyl-diaza-18C6 in all membrane systems. Dibenzo-18C6 and di-tert-butyl-DB18C6 showed the highest transport efficiency for cobalt (II) ion. The effect of stearic acid on transport efficiency was also investigated and the results show that the efficiency of transport of the heavy metal cations increases in the presence of this organic acid.  相似文献

The complexation reactions between Mg2+,Ca2+,Sr2+ and Ba2+ metal cations with macrocyclic ligand, dicyclohexano-18-crown-6 (DCH18C6) were studied in methanol (MeOH)–water (H2O) binary mixtures at different temperatures using conductometric method . In all cases, DCH18C6 forms 1:1 complexes with these metal cations. The values of stability constants of complexes which were obtained from conductometric data show that the stability of complexes is affected by the nature and composition of the mixed solvents. While the variation of stability constants of DCH18C6-Sr 2+ and DCH18C6-Ba2+versus the composition of MeOH–H2O mixed solvents is monotonic, an anomalous behavior was observed for variations of stability constants of DCH18C6-Mg2+ and DCH18C6-Ca2+ versus the composition of the mixed solvents. The values of thermodynamic parameters (ΔHc°, ΔSc°) for complexation reactions were obtained from temperature dependence of formation constants of complexes using the van’t Hoff plots. The results show that in most cases, the complexation reactions are enthalpy stabilized but entropy destabilized and the values of thermodynamic parameters are influenced by the nature and composition of the mixed solvents. The obtained results show that the order of selectivity of DCH18C6 ligand for metal cations in different concentrations of methanol in MeOH–H2O binary system is: Ba2+>Sr2+>Ca2+> Mg2+.  相似文献

Conductance measurements are reported for nickel(II), cupper(II), silver(I) and cadmium(II), salts in acetonitrile (AN)–dimethylformamide (DMF) binary solvents containing macrocyclic ligand, 1,10-dibenzyl-1,10-diaza-18-crown-6 (DBDA18C6) at different temperatures. The changes in molar conductance caused by addition of DBDA18C6 to solutions were analyzed by non-linear least squares to give stability constants of 1:1 metal cation–DBDA18C6 complexes. The results show that the stabilities of the complexes are sensitive to solvent composition and in some cases the sequence of stabilities is changed with changing the composition of the mixed solvents. The values of thermodynamic quantities (ΔH°c and ΔS°c) for formation of DBDA18C6-Ni2+, DBDA18C6-Cu2+, DBDA18C6-Ag+ and DBDA18C6-Cd2+ complexes were obtained from temperature dependence of the stability constants and the results show that the values of ΔH°c and ΔS°c for these complexes are sensitive to the nature and composition of AN–DMF binary solutions, but they do not vary monotonically with the solvent composition.  相似文献

The complexation reactions between Mg2+, Ca2+, Sr2+ and Ba2+ cations with the macrocyclic ligand, 18-Crown-6 (l8C6) in water–methanol (MeOH) binary systems as well as the complexation reactions between Ca2+ and Sr2+ cations with 18C6 in water–ethanol (EtOH) binary mixtures have been studied at different temperatures using conductometric method. The conductance data show that the stoichiometry of all the complexes is 1:1. It was found that the stability of 18C6 complexes with Mg2+, Ca2+, Sr2+ and Ba2+ cations is sensitive to solvent composition and in all cases, a non-linear behaviour was observed for the variation of log K f of the complexes versus the composition of the mixed solvents. In some cases, the stability order is changed with changing the composition of the mixed solvents. The selectivity order of 18C6 for the metal cations in pure methanol is: Ba2+ > Sr2+ > Ca2+ > Mg2+. The values of thermodynamic parameters (Δ H c ° and Δ S c °) for formation of 18C6–Mg2+, 18C6–Ca2+, 18C6–Sr2+ and 18C6–Ba2+complexes were obtained from temperature dependence of the stability constants. The obtained results show that the values of (Δ H c ° and Δ S c °) for formation of these complexes are quite sensitive to the nature and composition of the mixed solvent, but they do not vary monotonically with the solvent composition. This revised version was published online in July 2005 with a corrected issue number.  相似文献

The complex formation between Cu2+, Zn2+, Tl+ and Cd2+ metal cations with macrocyclic ligand, dibenzo- 18-crown-6 (DB18C6) was studied in dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO)–ethylacetate (EtOAc) binary systems at different temperatures using conductometric method. In all cases, DB18C6 forms 1:1 complexes with these metal cations. The stability constants of the complexes were obtained from fitting of molar conductivity curves using a computer program, Genplot. The non-linear behaviour which was observed for variations of log K f of the complexes versus the composition of the mixed solvent was discussed in terms of changing the chemical and physical properties of the constituent solvents when they mix with one another and, therefore, changing the solvation capacities of the metal cations, crown ether molecules and even the resulting complexes with changing the mixed solvent composition. The results show that the selectivity order of DB18C6 for the metal cations in pure ethylacetate and pure dimethylsulfoxide is: Tl+ > Cu2+ > Zn2+ > Cd2+ but the selectivity order is changed with the composition of the mixed solvents. The values of enthalpy changes (ΔH°C) for complexation reactions were obtained from the slope of the van’t Hoff plots and the changes in standard enthalpy (ΔS°C) were calculated from the relationship: ΔG°C,298.15H°C − 298.15 ΔS°C. The obtained results show that in most cases, the complexes are enthalpy stabilized, but entropy destabilized and the values of ΔH°C and ΔS°C depend strongly on the nature of the medium.  相似文献

The complexation reactions between Ag+, Hg2+ and Pb2+ metal cations with aza-18-crown-6 (A18C6) were studied in dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO)–water (H2O) binary mixtures at different temperatures using the conductometric method. The conductance data show that the stoichiometry of the complexes in most cases is 1:1(ML), but in some cases 1:2 (ML2) complexes are formed in solutions. A non-linear behaviour was observed for the variation of log K f of the complexes vs. the composition of the binary mixed solvents. Selectivity of A18C6 for Ag+, Hg2+ and Pb2+ cations is sensitive to the solvent composition and in some cases and in certain compositions of the mixed solvent systems, the selectivity order is changed. The values of thermodynamic parameters (ΔH co, ΔS co) for formation of A18C6–Ag+, A18C6–Hg2+ and A18C6–Pb2+ complexes in DMSO–H2O binary systems were obtained from temperature dependence of stability constants and the results show that the thermodynamics of complexation reactions is affected by the nature and composition of the mixed solvents.  相似文献

[6Li]-α-(phenylthio)benzyllithium 1-6Li was studied in THF/[D8]THF solution (1:1) in the presence of several acyclic and cyclic polyether ligands by 1H,6Li-HOESY, 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy. The question whether these ligands are bonded to lithium or not is important for physical–organic investigations as well as for studies of the ground state of (stereoselective) reactions of organolithium compounds in the presence of such ligands. Dimethoxyethane is not bonded to lithium under these conditions. The acyclic ethers diglyme and triglyme coordinate only weakly to the organolithium compound and form contact ion pairs (CIPs) at 25°C. At −80°C, CIPs are in equilibrium with separated ion pairs (SIPs). Very stable complexes of 1-6Li are obtained with crown ether ligands. Addition of 12-crown-4 and 15-crown-5, respectively, results in the exclusive formation of SIPs at 25°C and −80°C. With 18-crown-6, a CIP–SIP equilibrium is observed at 25°C which is shifted entirely to the SIP side at −80°C. Graphical analyses of the 1H and 13C NMR spectra of the polyether complexes of 1-6Li revealed correlations between the chemical shifts of the para phenyl carbon C-5, the para phenyl proton H-5, the benzylic carbon C-1, and the proton–carbon coupling constant J(C-1,H-1) of 1-Li, which are useful probes for the charge distribution within the carbanionic moiety of 1-6Li in the respective complexes, and thus for the ion pair character as a function of the polyether complexation of lithium.  相似文献

Stability constants of sodium and cesium ion complexes with 18-crown-6 (18C6) and dibenzo-18-crown-6 (DB18C6) in N-butyl-4-methyl-pyridinium tetrafluoroborate [BMP][BF4] aqueous solutions were measured using the 23Na and 133Cs NMR technique at 23 °C. To the best of our knowledge, the estimated values of stability constants reported in this study are the first such values given for ionic liquid solutions. The cationic exchange between the free and complexed species is rapid, and only formation of the 1:1 complexes [M(18C6)]+ and [M(DB18C6)]+ (M = Na+, Cs+) were observed. The complex formation constants demonstrated a strong dependence on the [BMP][BF4] concentration. For [M(18C6)]+, in solutions with a 0.33–0.70 mole fraction of water in [BMP][BF4], lg K values are found to be more than one unit higher than the lg K values measured in pure aqueous solutions, although no information concerning the influence of [BMP][BF4] on the complex formation selectivity could be observed. DB18C6 complexes revealed significantly lower stability under the same conditions. An extrapolation to zero water content gave the lg K = 2.42 for [Cs(18C6)]+ in [BMP][BF4]. It was discovered that when added to water, [BMP][BF4] increases the solubility of crown ethers and decreases the solubility of alkali metal nitrates. Complex formation with crown ethers enhances the solubility of alkali metal salts in [BMP][BF4].  相似文献

Summary Catalytic hydrogenation of 2,3-diphenyl-6-nitroquinoxaline led to the corresponding amine1 which in turn afforded products3a-i on reaction with alkoxymethylene derivatives2a-i. Thermal cyclization of3b and3f yielded substituted pyrazinoquinolones5b and5f, respectively. Optimal conditions for the successful hydrolysis of ester5b were found. The structures of all products were deduced from their IR, UV,1H, and13C NMR spectroscopic data.Dedicated to Prof.F. Sauter on the occasion of his 65th birthday  相似文献

Ruthenium carbonyl triphenylphosphine complexes Ru2(CO)6−n (PPh3) n {μ-C(CH=CHPh)C(Ph)C(CH=CHPh)C(Ph)} (n=1, 2) were obtained by the reaction of complex Ru2(CO)6{μ-C(CH=CHPh)C(Ph)C(CH=CHPh)C(Ph)} containing the ruthenacyclopentadiene moiety with PPh3 in refluxing toluene. The complexes were characterized by IR and by1H,13C, and31P NMR spectroscopy, and by X-ray analysis. The monophosphine derivative is identical to the complex formed by fragmentation of the Ru3(CO)8(PPh3){μ-C(CH=CHPh)C(Ph)C(CH=CHPh)C(Ph)} cluster and contains the PPh3 ligand at the ruthenium atom of the ruthenacyclopentadiene moiety. Mercury cyanide complexes of alkyldiamines (16), [Hg(L)(CN)2] (where L?=?en (1,2-diaminoethane), pn (1,3-diaminopropane), N-Me-en, N, N′-Me2-en, N, N′-Et2-en, and N, N′-ipr2-en), have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, 13C, and 15N solution NMR in DMSO-d6, as well as 13C, 15N, and 199Hg solid-state NMR spectroscopy. Complexes 1 and 2 have been studied computationally, built and optimized by GAUSSIAN03 using DFT at B3LYP level with LanL2DZ basis set. Binding modes of en and bn (where bn?=?1,4-diaminobutane) toward Hg(CN)2 are completely different. Complexes with en and pn show chelating binding to Hg(II), while bn behaves as a bridging ligand to form a polymeric structure, [Hg(CN)2-bn] [B.A. Al-Maythalony, M. Fettouhi, M.I.M. Wazeer, A.A. Isab. Inorg. Chem. Commun., 12, 540 (2009).]. The solution 13C NMR of the complexes demonstrates a slight shift of the ?C≡N (0.9 to 2?ppm) and ?C–NH2 (0.25 to 6?ppm) carbon resonances, while the other resonances are relatively unaffected. 15N labeling studies have shown involvement of alkyldiamine ligands in coordination to the metal. The principal components of the 13C, 15N, and 199Hg shielding tensors have been determined from solid-state NMR data. Antimicrobial activity studies show that the complexes exhibit higher antibacterial activities toward various microorganisms than Hg(CN)2.  相似文献

It is believed that the biological effects of chelating agents such as crown ethers are largely related to their ability to form complexes with ions and/or to facilitate ion transport across membranes. Specific influences are rarely related. Here we present the evidence that even one of the simplest representatives of the crown ether super-family, 1,4,7,10,13,16-hexaoxacyclooctane (18-crown-6), is able to affect the activity of Na+, K+-ATPase directly. Using nonlinear regression fitting to kinetic data we have found that the crown ether diminishes the apparent Michaelis constant, K m , and the maximal rate of ATP hydrolysis, V m , acting as noncompetitive inhibitors. The apparent dissociation constants, K i , for the crown interaction with the free ATPase and with the enzyme-substrate complex were established to be of 77 ± 3 mM and 21 ± 2 mM, respectively. So 18-crown-6 possesses weak but “direct” pharmacological activity on Na+, K+-ATPase hinders the formation of enzyme–substrate complex and detains the enzyme in this state.  相似文献

Six complexes, [VO(L1-H)2]?·?5H2O (1), [VO(OH)(L2,3?H)(H2O)]?·?H2O (2,3), [VO(OH)(L4,5?H)(H2O)]?·?H2O (4,5), [VO(OH)(L6?H)(H2O)]?·?H2O (6), were prepared by reacting different derivatives of 5-phenylazo-6-aminouracil ligands with VOSO4?·?5H2O. The infrared and 1H NMR spectra of the complexes have been assigned. Thermogravimetric analyses (TG, DTG) were also carried out. The data agree quite well with the proposed structures and show that the complexes were finally decomposed to the corresponding divanadium pentoxide. The ligands and their vanadyl complexes were screened for antimicrobial activities by the agar-well diffusion technique using DMSO as solvent. The minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) values for 14 and 6 were calculated at 30°C for 24–48?h. The activity data show that the complexes are more potent antimicrobials than the parent ligands.  相似文献

Nitropyrazoles
The structures of substitutedN-aminonitropyrazoles and 1- and 2-amino-4-nitro-1,2,3-triazoles as well as the site of protonation of 1-aminopyrazole were determined based on the1H,13C, and15N (14N) NMR spectra. The13C NMR spectra were recorded under conditions of13C-{1H,14N} triple resonance. Effects of substituents in the pyrazole ring on the13C and14N chemical shifts were studied. The13C,1H and15N,1H spin-spin coupling constants, obtained using techniques of [1H]13C and [1H]15N polarization transfer (SPT, INEPT), were measured, fully assigned, and discussed.Translated fromIzvestiya Akademii Nauk. The 195Pt-NMR chemical shifts of all possible hydrolysis products of [PtCl6]2? in acidic and alkaline aqueous solutions are calculated employing simple non-relativistic density functional theory computational protocols. Particularly, the GIAO-PBE0/SARC-ZORA(Pt) ∪ 6-31 + G(d)(E) computational protocol augmented with the universal continuum solvation model (SMD) performs the best for calculation of the 195Pt-NMR chemical shifts of the Pt(IV) complexes existing in acidic and alkaline aqueous solutions of [PtCl6]2?. Excellent linear plots of δcalcd(195Pt) chemical shifts versus δexptl(195Pt) chemical shifts and δcalcd(195Pt) versus the natural atomic charge QPt are obtained. Very small changes in the Pt–Cl and Pt–O bond distances of the octahedral [PtCl6]2?, [Pt(OH)6]2?, and [Pt(OH2)6]4+ complexes have significant influence on the computed σiso 195Pt magnetic shielding tensor elements of the anionic [PtCl6]2? and the computed δ 195Pt chemical shifts of [Pt(OH)6]2? and [Pt(OH2)6]4+. An increase of the Pt–Cl and Pt–O bond distances by 0.001 Å (1 mÅ) is accompanied by a downfield shift increment of 17.0, 19.4, and 37.6 ppm mÅ?1, respectively. Counter-anion effects in the case of the highly positive charged complexes drastically improve the accuracy of the calculated 195Pt chemical shifts providing values very close to the experimental ones.  相似文献

Guest–host inclusion complexes between 6-benzyladenine (6-BA), cucurbit[7]uril (Q[7]), symmetrical tetramethylcucurbit[6]uril (TMeQ[6]) and meta-hexamethyl-substituted cucurbit[6]uril (HMeQ[6]) in aqueous solution were investigated by 1H NMR, UV absorption spectroscopy and phase solubility studies. The 1H NMR spectra analysis revealed that the hosts selectively bound the phenyl moiety of the guests. Absorption spectroscopic analysis defined the stability of the host–guest inclusion complexes. A host:guest ratio of 1:1 was measured quantitatively as (5.63 ± 0.26) × 104, (1.94 ± 0.17) × 103 and (2.89 ± 0.23) × 103 mol L? 1 for the Q[7]-6-BA, TMeQ[6]-6-BA and HMeQ[6]-6-BA systems, respectively. Phase solubility diagrams were analysed through rigorous procedures to obtain estimates of the complex formation constants for Q[n]-6-BA complexation. The formation constants were (1.29 ± 0.24) × 104 L mol? 1 for Q[7]-6-BA, (3.20 ± 0.17) × 103 L mol? 1 for TMeQ[6]-6-BA and (3.52 ± 1.01) × 103 L mol? 1 for TMeQ[6]-6-BA. Furthermore, phase solubility studies showed that 6-BA solubility increased as a function of Q[7], TMeQ[6] and HMeQ[6] concentrations. The thermodynamic parameters of the complex formation were also determined. The formation of inclusion complexes between 6-BA and Q[7] was enthalpy controlled, suggesting that hydrophobic and van der Waals interactions were the main driving forces. Our results demonstrated that the complexation of 6-BA with Q[n] could be used to improve the solubility of 6-BA.  相似文献

Abstract

The fully deprotonated anion of 1,3,5-benzene-triphosphonic acid 1,3,5-C6H3[PO32?]3 gives rise to deceptively simple 1H and 31P NMR spectra due to a corresponding [AX]3 spin system. The 13C{1H} NMR spectrum reveals two 13C isotopomers which are identified via AXX′2 systems. Results from analysis and iteration are described.  相似文献
