The production of the three normal neutrinos via e-e+ collision at Z-boson peak (neutrino production in a Z-factory) is investigated thoroughly. The differences of ve-pair production from vμ-pair and vτ-pair production are presented in various aspects. Namely the total cross sections, relevant differential cross sections and the forward-backward asymmetry etc. for these neutrinos are presented in terms of figures as well as numerical tables. The restriction on the room for the mixing of the three species of light neutrinos with possible externals (heavy neutral leptons and/or sterile neutrinos) from refined measurements of the invisible width of Z-boson is discussed.  相似文献

We analyze the existing solar neutrino experiment data and show the allowed regions. The result from SNO's salt phase itself restricts quite a lot the allowed region's area. Reactor neutrinos play an important role in determining oscillation parameters. KamLAND gives decisive conclusion on the solution to the solar neutrino puzzle, in particular, the spectral distortion in the 766.3 Ty KamLAND data gives another new improvement in the constraint of solar MSW-LMA solutions. We confirm that at 99.73% C.L. the high-LMA solution is excluded.  相似文献

We investigate the irreversible entropy production of a qubit in contact with an environment modelled by a microscopic collision model in both Markovian and non-Markovian regimes. Our main goal is to contribute to the discussions on the relationship between non-Markovian dynamics and negative entropy production rates. We employ two different types of collision models that do or do not keep the correlations established between the system and the incoming environmental particle, while both of them pertain to their non-Markovian nature through information backflow from the environment to the system. We observe that as the former model, where the correlations between the system and environment are preserved, gives rise to negative entropy production rates in the transient dynamics, the latter one always maintains positive rates, even though the convergence to the steady-state value is slower as compared to the corresponding Markovian dynamics. Our results suggest that the mechanism underpinning the negative entropy production rates is not solely non-Markovianity through information backflow, but rather the contribution to it through established system-environment correlations.  相似文献

Results for solar neutrino detection from the SuperKamiokande collaboration have been presented recently while those from the Sudbury Neutrino Observatory are expected in the near future. These experiments are sensitive to the8B neutrinos from the sun, the shape of whose spectrum is well-known but the normalization is less certain. We propose several variables, insensitive to the absolute flux of the incident beam, which probe the shape of the observed spectrum and can sensitively signal neutrino oscillations. They provide methods to extract the neutrino mixing angle and mass splitting from the data and also to distinguish oscillation to sequential neutrinos from those to a sterile neutrino.  相似文献

We study one possible production mechanism for the hidden-charm pentaquark via a color-octet cc pair fragmentation in e~+e~-collision.The pentaquark production at B factory energy is dominated by e~+e~-→ccg→P_c+X,while at Z~0pole energy,there are several partonic processes playing significant role.Our results show that it is possible to search for the direct pentaquark production signal at e~+e~-colliders,which is important to understand the properties of pentaquark.  相似文献

在次领头级(NLO)近似下计算了HERA分解光子过程中的双喷注截面.结果表明:在分解光子过程中,NLO修正量(当不变质量大于20GeV时)约为LO的0.5到1.这一结果可解释ZEUS的数据分析结果:“LOQCD理论值比实验值低1.5到2个因子.”当双喷注不变质量MJJ<30GeV=,快度yJJ<—1时,光子的胶子分布决定了双喷注截面.利用这一特点可测量光子的胶子分布.当双喷注不变质量较大时(例如:MJJ>30GeV),-1JJ<0时,光子的夸克分布决定了双喷注截面,利用这一特点可测量光子的夸克分布.  相似文献

Particle type dependences of hadron yield and emission patterns, especially its difference between mesons and baryons, at intermediate pT(2—5GeV/c) is one of the findings in heavy ion collisions at RHIC. A systematic study of identified hadron production was performed in Au+Au/Cu+Cu collisions at sNN=62.4/200GeV, to investigate the possible origins of this difference. 采用含时密度泛函理论和分子动力学非绝热自洽耦合的方法,全微观研究沿垂直羟基分子轴向入射初动能为15 eV的质子与羟基碰撞过程的电子-离子关联动力学.计算质子和羟基动能、碰撞后羟基电子和离子的运动状态及系统电子密度的实时分布.结果表明:质子与羟基碰撞后俘获羟基的一部分电子被反弹并损失26.7%的初始动能而羟基动能增加.碰撞后丢失1%电子的羟基在保持碰撞前收缩振动的同时向计算边界平动并以93%的中性和7%的+1价的几率存在.  相似文献

通过考虑喷注淬火效应,分析了相对论性高能重离子碰撞中双强子的产生.结果表明,喷注淬火压低了大不变质量谱和大横动量的双强子的产生.与质子–质子碰撞的情形类似,核–核的擦边碰撞(碰撞参数很大)产生的强子有很强的背靠背的关联.在核–核对心碰撞(碰撞参数很小)中,由于喷注穿过强作用物质导致的喷注淬火介质效应,产生的强子的背靠背的关联几乎消失.  相似文献

The cross-sections for the reactions of muonium (anti-muonium) production in the high-energy electron (positron) scattering by nuclei e -(e +) + ZZ + M 0(ˉM) + μ-+) are calculated in dependence on energy and polarization of the initial electron (positron) and polarization of the final μ-+)-meson. Since this is a coherent phenomenon the cross-sections are proportional to Z2. For Z ∼ 100, due to the factor Z2, the cross-sections are large enough to be measured at the energies available for the HERA Collider at DESY. A thermodynamic minimum principle valid for photon radiation is shown to hold for arbitrary geometries. It is successfully extended to neutrinos, in the zero mass and chemical potential case, following a parallel development of photon and neutrino statistics. This minimum principle stems more from that of Planck than that of classical Onsager–Prigogine irreversible thermodynamics. Its extension from bosons to fermions suggests that it may have a still wider validity.  相似文献

In an effective Lagrangian model we find that the N*(1535) resonance contribution might be important to the interpretation of the present data of the pp→ ppη' and pn→dφ reactions. The strong coupling strength of N~* (1535) to η' and φ are indicated, and the possible implication to the intrinsic component of N~*(1535) is explored. These results may provide hints to the real origin of the OZI rule violation. It is stressed that further measurements could be performed at the Cooling Storage Ring (CSR) at Lanzhou of China.  相似文献

Experimental data from the PEP-Ⅱ B-factory at 10.6 GeV center-of-mass (c.m.) energy, obtained via initial-state radiation (ISR) with the BABAR detector, are presented. The cross sections for many hadronic processes have been measured from the production threshold to 4-5 GeV of the e+e- c.m. Energy. The obtained data allow to study a number of intermediate states and determine the parameters of known resonances and their branching fractions. Based on the nuclear effects considered in the Glauber-Gribov approach, charmed meson production in high energy deep inelastic e+A scattering is investigated in the color dipole formalism. Using the Peterson fragmentation function and the KLR-AdS/CFT color dipole model, which reasonably well describes the HERA data for the inclusive structure functions at small Bjorken-x, we present the predictive results for the D-meson transverse spectra at EIC and LHeC energies. The theoretical results indicate that the $x$-independence phenomena at very small-x predicted by the KLR-AdS/CFT model are not seen in our calculation.  相似文献
