The vast majority of car-following models are lack of the consideration of human drivers’ characteristics. Based on the fact that each driver of a following vehicle perceives closing-in or shying-away a leading vehicle in front of him/her, primarily due to changes in the apparent size of the leading vehicle, we improved the full velocity difference (FVD) model and presented a visual angle car-following model. This model is in view of the stimulus-response framework and uses the visual angle and the change rate of the visual angle as stimulus. Results from linear analysis showed that the neutral stability line is asymmetry and the width of the leading vehicle has a great impact on the stability of traffic flow. Numerical simulations obtained the same results as theoretical analysis clearly such as density wave, shrinking hysteresis, asymmetry and wide scattering. Thus, the introducing of the visual angle can explain some complex nature of traffic flow and contribute to the design of more realistic car-following models.  相似文献

A novel car-following model is offered based on the cooperative information transmission delayed effect involving headway and velocity under V2X environment. The stability conditions and mKdV equation of the new model are obtained via the linear and nonlinear analysis. Through numerical simulation, the variation trend of headway and hysteresis phenomenon are studied. In addition, we investigate the additional energy consumption of the vehicle during acceleration. In brief, theoretical analysis and simulation results confirm that the new car-following model based on the cooperative information transmission delayed effect can improve traffic stability and reduce additional energy consumption.  相似文献

A new coupled map car-following model in this paper is proposed by considering the influence of the difference of the estimated optimal speed based on the coupled map (CM) car-following model under V2X environment. The stability of the new model is analyzed by applying the control theory, and the conditions are obtained for the stability of the traffic system. And the two scenes of vehicle stopping once and four times have been simulated. The simulation results show that the control term considered with optimal estimation of speed difference can effectively improve the stability of vehicle running and reduce CO2 emissions in the CM car-following model.  相似文献

Based on the optimal velocity car-following model, in this paper, we propose an improved model for simulating train movement in an urban railway in which the regenerative energy of a train is considered. Here a new additional term is introduced into a traditional car-following model. Our aim is to analyze and discuss the dynamic characteristics of the train movement when the regenerative energy is utilized by the electric locomotive. The simulation results indicate that the improved car-following model is suitable for simulating the train movement. Further, some qualitative relationships between regenerative energy and dynamic characteristics of a train are investigated, such as the measurement data of regenerative energy presents a power-law distribution. Our results are useful for optimizing the design and plan of urban railway systems.  相似文献

The car-following behavior can be influenced by its driver’s backward-looking effect.Especially in traffic congestion,if vehicles adjust the headway by considering backward-looking effect,the stability of traffic flow can be enhanced.A model of car-following behavior considering backward-looking effect was built using visual information as a stimulus.The critical stability conditions were derived by linear and nonlinear stability analyses.The results of parameter sensitivity analysis indicate that the stability of traffic flow was enhanced by considering the backward-looking effect.The spatiotemporal evolution of traffic flow of different truck ratios and varying degrees of backward-looking effect was determined by numerical simulation.This study lays a foundation for exploring the complex feature of car-following behavior and making the intelligent network vehicles control rules more consistent with human driver habits.  相似文献

In this paper the new continuum traffic flow model proposed by Jiang {\it et al is developed based on an improved car-following model, in which the speed gradient term replaces the density gradient term in the equation of motion. It overcomes the wrong-way travel which exists in many high-order continuum models. Based on the continuum version of car-following model, the condition for stable traffic flow is derived. Nonlinear analysis shows that the density fluctuation in traffic flow induces a variety of density waves. Near the onset of instability, a small disturbance could lead to solitons determined by the Korteweg--de-Vries (KdV) equation, and the soliton solution is derived.  相似文献

This paper presents a numerical stability analysis of a multi-phase car-following model under mild to severe disturbances. The results show that local stability was always conformed. An asymptotically unstable region was found for traffic in congested states. One of the previously calibrated boundary conditions for close-following situations was found to be in conflict with the stable condition required by the car-following model, which had attributed to speed oscillations during transition of the traffic from a non-congested to a congested state. Suggestions were made to the choice of model parameter values to meet the stability conditions and ways to improve the model.  相似文献

A modified coupled map car-following model is proposed, in which two successive vehicle headways in front of the considering vehicle is incorporated into the optimal velocity function. The steady state under certain conditions is obtained. An error system around the steady state is studied further. Moreover, the condition for the state having no traffic jam is derived. A new control scheme is presented to suppress the traffic jam in the modified coupled map car-following model under the open boundary. A control signal including the velocity differences between the following and the considering vehicles, and between the preceding and the considering vehicles is used. The condition under which the traffic jam can be well suppressed is analysed. The results are compared with that presented by Konishi et al. (the KKH model). The simulation results show that the temporal behaviour obtained in our model is better than that in the KKH model. The simulation results are in good agreement with the theoretical analysis.  相似文献

基于Newell跟驰模型,建立考虑车与车互联(vehicle-to-vehicle,V2V)通讯技术的单车道跟驰模型.根据V2V技术的特征,引入参数α以表征驾驶员在收到V2V技术所提供的实时交通信息后的提前反应程度.根据线性稳定分析方法,得到V2V跟驰模型的中性稳定条件.通过计算机的模拟,研究V2V技术对交通流运行的影响,分析小扰动下V2V跟驰模型对参数变化的敏感性,研究不同α取值下交通流密度波及迟滞回环的变化.研究发现:1)与全速度差跟驰模型相比,在引入V2V后,交通流在加速起步、减速刹车及遇到突发事件时,车辆运行的安全性和舒适性均得到不同程度的提升;2)V2V跟驰模型对参数α及T的变化较为敏感,且在交通流较为拥堵时,V2V技术的引入可以提升交通流的平均速度;3)参数α的增大、T的减小可以有效提升V2V跟驰模型在不同交通环境下的运行稳定性.由于可以实时地获取交通流运行的状态并针对性地改变车辆自身的运行,V2V交通流跟驰模型提升了交通流运行的稳定性.  相似文献

Car taillights are ubiquitous during the deceleration process in real traffic, while drivers have a memory for historical information. The collective effect may greatly affect driving behavior and traffic flow performance. In this paper, we propose a continuum model with the driver's memory time and the preceding vehicle's taillight. To better reflect reality, the continuous driving process is also considered. To this end, we first develop a unique version of a car-following model. By converting micro variables into macro variables with a macro conversion method, the micro car-following model is transformed into a new continuum model. Based on a linear stability analysis, the stability conditions of the new continuum model are obtained. We proceed to deduce the modified KdV-Burgers equation of the model in a nonlinear stability analysis, where the solution can be used to describe the propagation and evolution characteristics of the density wave near the neutral stability curve. The results show that memory time has a negative impact on the stability of traffic flow, whereas the provision of the preceding vehicle's taillight contributes to mitigating traffic congestion and reducing energy consumption.  相似文献

为了更加客观地描述实际的车辆跟驰行为, 在优化速度模型的基础上, 通过引入横向分离参数并提出超车期望和虚拟前车的概念, 建立了考虑横向分离与超车期望的车辆跟驰模型.对模型进行线性稳定性分析, 得到了模型稳定性条件, 发现车辆横向分离、超车期望和虚拟前车的位置的增加, 在车流密度较小、车速较快的情况下, 使得交通流稳定区域增大, 但在车流密度较大、车速较慢的情况下, 反而使得交通流稳定区域减小.数值模拟结果验证了模型稳定性分析的结果, 表明在交通瓶颈处等交通流密度较大、运行缓慢的区域, 为抑制交通拥堵, 应该限制车辆的横向偏移和超车行为的发生. 关键词: 交通流 车辆跟驰模型 横向分离 超车期望  相似文献

基于Konishi等的研究工作,提出了涉及前方两辆车车头间距的优化速度函数的耦合映射跟驰模型. 采用反馈控制方法,研究了耦合映射跟驰模型中的交通拥堵控制. 利用反馈控制理论,给出了头车速度发生变化时交通流保持稳定的条件,并与Konishi等得到的结果进行了比较. 数值模拟结果表明,所提出的模型在经典的反馈控制方法下描述的交通拥堵现象得到了有效抑制. 关键词: 交通流 耦合映射跟驰模型 优化速度函数 反馈控制  相似文献

In the light of the optimal velocity model, a two velocity difference model for a car-following theory is put forward considering navigation in modern traffic. To our knowledge, the model is an improvement over the previous ones theoretically, because it considers more aspects in the car-following process than others. Then we investigate the property of the model using linear and nonlinear analyses. The Korteweg-de Vries equation (for short, the KdV equation) near the neutral stability line and the modified Korteweg-de Vries equation (for short, the mKdV equation) around the critical point are derived by applying the reductive perturbation method. The traffic jam could be thus described by the KdV soliton and the kink-anti-kink soliton for the KdV equation and mKdV equation, respectively. Numerical simulations are made to verify the model, and good results are obtained with the new model.  相似文献

In this paper, we present a new car-following model by taking into account the effects of the traffic interruption probability on the car-following behaviour of the following vehicle. The stability condition of the model is obtained by using the linear stability theory. The modified Korteweg--de Vries (KdV) equation is constructed and solved, and three types of traffic flows in the headway sensitivity space---stable, metastable, and unstable---are classified. Both the analytical and simulation results show that the traffic interruption probability indeed has an influence on driving behaviour, and the consideration of traffic interruption probability in the car-following model could stabilize traffic flow.  相似文献

In the light of the visual angle model (VAM), an improved car-following model considering driver's visual angle, anticipated time and stabilizing driving behavior is proposed so as to investigate how the driver's behavior factors affect the stability of the traffic flow. Based on the model, linear stability analysis is performed together with bifurcation analysis, whose corresponding stability condition is highly fit to the results of the linear analysis. Furthermore, the time-dependent Ginzburg-Landau (TDGL) equation and the modified Korteweg-de Vries (mKdV) equation are derived by nonlinear analysis, and we obtain the relationship of the two equations through the comparison. Finally, parameter calibration and numerical simulation are conducted to verify the validity of the theoretical analysis, whose results are highly consistent with the theoretical analysis.  相似文献

基于NaSch元胞自动机交通流模型, 考虑司机复杂的性格特征和驾驶行为差异, 引入相邻车辆的动态车间距, 提出了一个改进的单车道元胞自动机交通流模型. 通过数值模拟得到了流量-密度关系, 在中高密度区域呈现出一种弥散分布的状态而非惟一确定的关系, 再现了交通系统中的自由流、同步流及宽幅运动阻塞, 表明道路上即使没有交通瓶颈也会出现同步流和拥挤交通, 同时揭示了在同步流中存在的车辆高速跟驰现象, 高速跟驰率与交通实测结果较为符合.  相似文献

A new car-following model is proposed by taking into account two different time delays in sensing headway and velocity. The effect of time delays on the stability analysis is studied. The theoretical and numerical results show that traffic jams are suppressed efficiently when the difference between two time delays decreases and those can be described by the solution of the modified Korteweg–de Vries (mKdV) equation. Traffic flow is more stable with two delays in headway and velocity than in the case with only one delay in headway. The impact of local small disturbance to the system is also studied.  相似文献
