The SO(3) gauge extension of SM, which is proposed to present a successful explanation for the observed small masses of neutrino and the nearly tri-bimaximal neutrino mixing, predicted the vector-like SO(3) triplet Majorana neutrinos and SUL(2) double Higgs bosons. In this work we calculate branching ratios of the charged lepton flavor violating decays lIlJV (V = γ, Z) induced by these Majorana neutrinos and Higgs bosons. We find that under the model parameters constrained by experimental bounds on the decays Z →lIlJ, the branching ratio of decays lI→lJγ can be up to 10^-10, which may be accessible at the future experiments.  相似文献

Based. On the effective Hamiltonian with the generalized factorization approach, we calculate the branchingratios and CP asymmetries of B → VV decays in the Topcolor-assisted Technicolor (TC2) model. Within the consideredparameter space we find that: (a) for the penguin-dominated B → K* φ and K*0 φ decays, the new physics enhancementsto the branching ratios are around 40%; (b) the measured branching ratios of B →K* φ and K*0φ decays prefer therange of 3 Neffc 5; (c) the SM and TC2 model predictions for the branching ratio B(B →ρ ρ0) are only about halfof the Belle‘s measurement; and (d) for most B → VV decays, the new physics corrections on their CP asymmetries are generally small or moderate in magnitude and insensitive to the variation of mπ and Neffc.  相似文献

The lepton polarization asymmetry in the B → e^+e^- decay, when one of the leptons is polarized, is investigated by using the most general form of the effective Hamiltonian. We find allowed regions for the new scalar Wilson coefficients, assuming that the experimental branching ratio is measured within 10% percent uncertainty. Then using these restrictions to the new coefficients the sensitivity of the lepton polarization asymmetry to them is studied. Moreover, it is observed that there are regions of terms describing the scalar interactions, where lepton polarization asymmetry differs from zero, which can serve as a good test for searching new physics beyond the standard model.  相似文献

Based on the effective Hamiltonian with the generalized factorization approach, we calculate the branching ratios and CP asymmetries of B→VV decays in the Topcolor-assisted Technicolor (TC2) model. Within the considered parameter space we find that: (a) for the penguin-dominated B→K*+φ and K*0φ decays, the new physics enhancements to the branching ratios are around 40%; (b) the measured branching ratios of B→K*+φ and K*0φ decays prefer the range of 3≤Nceff≤5; (c) the SM and TC2 model predictions for the branching ratio B(B+→ρ+ρ0) are only about half of the Belle's measurement; and (d) for most B→VV decays, the new physics corrections on their CP asymmetries are generally small or moderate in magnitude and insensitive to the variation of mπ and Nceff.  相似文献

Using the QCD factorization approach, we investigate the large branching ratios of B→ηK^* decays and the SCKs anomaly of B→φKs decay in the two Higgs doublet model Ⅲ. With the contributions of flavour-changing neutral current mediated by the neutral Higgs bosons H^0, h^0 and A^0 at the tree level, we provide a coherent resolution to these anomalies within the constrained parameter spaces, which are 120 〈|λbs λss| 〈136. This will be really interesting in searching for the signs of new physics.  相似文献

We consider the rare top quark decays in the framework of topcolorassisted technicolor (TC2) model. We find that the contributions of top-pions and top-Higgs predicted by the TC2 model can enhance the SM branching ratios by as much as 6—9 orders of magnitude. i.e., in the most case, the orders of magnitude of branching ratios are Br(t→cg)~10-5, Br(t→cZ)~10-5, Br(t→cγ)~10-7. With the reasonable values of the parameters in TC2 model, such rare top quark decays may be testable in the future experiments. So, rare top quark decays provide us a unique way to test TC2 model.  相似文献

We study theoretically the quantum effects of the littlest Higgs model (LH) mediated by flavor changing one-loop Feynman diagrams on the rare decay process t→ cH^0. The comparison of the decay width in the LH model with that in the standard model (SM) is made. We find that the decay branch ratio of t→ cH^0 in the LH model is at most of the order-10^-12, which is two order larger than in the SM. The numerical results show that the difference between the branch ratios in the LH model and the SM is generally sensitive to the LH model parameters, such as symmetry breaking scale f, Higgs boson mass mH0, and x=v'4f/v^2 in our chosen parameter space, but relatively insensitive to the value choice of the cosine of the mixing angle c and the ratio λ1/λ2.  相似文献

The contributions of Pseudo-Goldstone Bosons in one generation technicolor model to the rare decays t→cV(V= Z,γ,g) are calculated. We find that these new contributions can enhance the SM branching fractions by as much as 3—4 orders of magnitude. The branching fractions can reach to:B(t→ cg)~10-6,B(t→cZ)~10-7,B(t→cγ)~10-8 for the favorable values of the parameters.  相似文献

We consider the effects of the fourth generation quarks on the rare B decay processes described by the b → s(d)ννˉ processes at the quark level. We find that the values of the branching ratios for some of these rare decay processes are much larger than the standard model(SM) predictions. These processes can be used to constrain the relevant free parameters.  相似文献

Recently an extension of the Standard Model (the Lee–Wick Standard Model) based on ideas of Lee and Wick (LW) was introduced. It does not contain quadratic divergences in the Higgs mass and hence solves the hierarchy puzzle. The LW Standard Model contains new heavy LW-resonances at the TeV scale that decay to ordinary particles. In this Letter we examine in more detail the flavor structure of the theory. We integrate out the heavy LW-fermions at tree level and find that this induces flavor changing Z-boson couplings. However, these flavor changing neutral currents are acceptably small since they are automatically suppressed by small Yukawa couplings. This is the case even though the theory does not satisfy the principle of minimal flavor violation. New couplings of the charged W-bosons to quarks and leptons are also induced. We also integrate out the LW–Higgs and examine the four-fermion operators induced.  相似文献

We generalize the quark-pair creation model to a study of the radiative decays J/φ→γBB by assuming that the u.d,or s quark pairs are created with the same interaction strength,From the calculation of the ratio of the decay widths (J/φ→γpp)/Γ(J/φ→pp),we extract the quark-pari creation strength gI=15.40GeV,Based on the SU(6)spin-flavour basis and the “uds” basis, the radiative decay branching ratios cotaining strange baryons are evaluated.Measurements for these decay widths from the BESII data are suggested.  相似文献

We consider the lepton-flavor violating (LFV) processes li → ljγ in the framework of topcolor-assistedtechnicolor (TC2) models. We find that the new gauge boson Z‘ predicted by TC2 models can give significantlycontributions to these processes via the flavor-changing couplings Z‘lilj. The present experimental bound on the LFVprocess μ→ eγ gives severe constraints on the TC2 models. Using other experimental constraints on the Z‘ mass Mz,we obtain constraints on the lepton mixing factors KTμ and KTe. The future LFV experiments will probe into TC2models.  相似文献

A simple extension of the standard model(SM) with a μ-flavored vector-like lepton(VLL) doublet and a real singlet scalar can have an interesting implication to the h→μ+μ- decay while offering the simplest possible explanation for the dark matter(DM) phenomenology.Assuming the real singlet scalar to be a viable DM candidate,it has been shown that the muon Yukawa coupling can have a negative contribution at the oneloop order if the 2nd generation SM leptons are all...  相似文献
