An exact-designed mesh shape with favorable surface accuracy is of practical significance to the performance of large cable-network antenna reflectors. In this study, a novel design approach that could guide the generation of exact spatial parabolic mesh configurations of such reflector was proposed. By incorporating the traditional force density method with the standard finite element method, this proposed approach had taken the deformation effects of flexible ring truss supports into consideration, and searched for the desired mesh shapes that can satisfy the requirement that all the free nodes are exactly located on the objective paraboloid. Compared with the conventional design method,a remarkable improvement of surface accuracy in the obtained mesh shapes had been demonstrated by numerical examples. The present work would provide a helpful technical reference for the mesh shape design of such cable-network antenna reflector in engineering practice.  相似文献

Analytical flow models are frequently applied when describing constricted channel flow at low and moderate Reynolds numbers. A common assumption underlying such flow models is two-dimensional or axi-symmetrical flow. In this work, two analytical model approaches are formulated in order to overcome this assumption in the case of naturally occurring channel flows for which the assumption might be critiqued. 为降低环境温度对石英挠性加速度计测量精度的影响,从工程应用角度设计了加速度计温度建模试验环境和试验方法.为加速度计设计独立的温控装置,验证了加速度计温度特性具有重复性的基础上,在多个温度点下采用四位置翻滚试验对加速度计进行标定,利用线性拟合方法建立了加速度计零偏和标度因数的温度模型.应用该模型对加速度计进行温度补偿后,可使加速度计的测量稳定性精度提高5.55倍.将所建温度模型应用于捷联式惯性导航系统中,可有效提高系统的导航精度.  相似文献

In this study, a higher-order impact model is presented to simulate the response of a soft-core sandwich beam subjected to a foreign object impact. A free vibration problem of sandwich beams is first solved, and the results are validated by comparing with numerical finite element modeling results of ABAQUS and the solution by Frostig and Baruch [Frostig, Y., Baruch, M., 1994. Free vibration of sandwich beams with a transversely flexible core: a high order approach. Journal of Sound and Vibration 176(2), 195–208]. Then a foreign object impact process is incorporated in the higher-order model, and the contact force and deflection history as well as the propagation of transverse normal, shear, and axial stresses during the impact are analyzed and discussed. The validity of the model in the impact response predictions is demonstrated by comparing with finite element solutions of LS-DYNA. The calculated stresses caused by a foreign object impact are then used to assess failure locations, failure time, and failure modes in sandwich beams, which are shown to compare well with the available experimental results. The effects of impact mass, initial velocity, core stiffness, and core height on the impact stresses generated in the beams are discussed. The influences of impact mass and initial velocity on the contact force history are close to those by the linearized impact solution, but the proposed higher-order impact model captures the non-linear impact process and different generated stresses. Compared to the fully backed sandwich case, the core height shows a great influence over the impact process of a simply supported sandwich system, in which the global behavior of the sandwich is dominant; while the core stiffness shows minor effect over the impact process. The higher-order impact model of sandwich beams developed in the study provides accurate predictions of the generated stresses and impact process and can be used effectively in design analysis of anti-impact structures made of sandwich materials.  相似文献

Based on the deformation theory of elastic beams, the coupling effect between the coupling displacements of a point on the middle line of beam and large overall motion is presented. The “coupling matrix library” and Jourdain's variation principle and single direction recursive formulation method are used to establish the general coupling dynamical equations of flexible multibody system. Two typical examples show the coupling effect between coupling displacements and large overall motion on the dynamics of flexible multibody system consisting of beams. Piezoelectric bender elements are widely used as electromechanical sensors and actuators.An analytical sandwich beam model for piezoelectric bender elements was developed based on the first-order shear deformation theory(FSDT),which assumes a single rotation angle for the whole cross-section and a quadratic distribution function for coupled electric potential in piezoelectric layers,and corrects the effect of transverse shear strain on the electric displacement integration.Free vibration analysis of simply- supported bender elements was carried out and the numerical results showed that,solu- tions of the present model for various thickness-to-length ratios are compared well with the exact two-dimensional solutions,which presents an efficient and accurate model for analyzing dynamic electromechanical responses of bender elements.  相似文献

A finite difference computer code is used to numerically simulate uniaxial strain waves generated from plate impact experiments. The incremental flow law of Bodner and Partom is used to describe the strain rate dependent plastic flow in 7039 aluminum and C1008 steel. Constants determined from Hopkinson bar tests and plate impact experiments are found adequate to predict precursor decay in these materials. A mathematical definition of the Hugoniot elastic limit (HEL) based on a plastic strain offset criterion is proposed.  相似文献

In this paper, the attitude stability of liquid-filled spacecraft with flexible appendage is investigated. The motion of liquid sloshing is modeled as the spherical pen-dulum, and the flexible appendage is approached by a linear shearing beam. Nonlinear dynamic equations of the coupled system are derived from the Hamiltonian. The stability of the coupled system was analyzed by using the energy-Casimir method, and the nonlinear stability theorem of the coupled spacecraft system was also obtained. Through numerical computation, the correctness of the proposed theorem is verified and the boundary curves of the stable region are presented. The increase of the angular velocity and flexible attachment length will weaken the attitude stability, and the change of the filled ratio of liquid fuel tank has a different influence on the stability of the coupled spacecraft, depend-ing on the different conditions. The attitude stability analysis of the coupled spacecraft system in this context is useful for selecting appropriate parameters in the complex spacecraft design.  相似文献

The paper studies the nonlinear dynamics of a flexible tethered satellite system subject to space environments, such as the J 2 perturbation, the air drag force, the solar pressure, the heating effect, and the orbital eccentricity. The flexible tether is modeled as a series of lumped masses and viscoelastic dampers so that a finite multidegree-of-freedom nonlinear system is obtained. The stability of equilibrium positions of the nonlinear system is then analyzed via a simplified two-degree-freedom model in an orbital reference frame. In-plane motions of the tethered satellite system are studied numerically, taking the space environments into account. A large number of numerical simulations show that the flexible tethered satellite system displays nonlinear dynamic characteristics, such as bifurcations, quasi-periodic oscillations, and chaotic motions.  相似文献

This paper introduces a strain-based geometrically nonlinear beam formulation for structural and aeroelastic modeling and analysis of slender wings of very flexible aircraft. With beam extensional strain, twist, and bending curvatures defined as the independent degrees of freedom, the equations of motion are derived through energy methods. Some special treatments are applied to the formulation to effectively model split-beam systems and beam configurations with multiple nodal displacement constraints. Using the strain-based formulation, solutions of different beam configurations under static loads and forced dynamic excitations are compared against ones from other geometrically nonlinear beam formulations.  相似文献

Multiple floating modules connected by flexible connectors can be viewed as a network structure. A standard modeling process for multi-module floating structures in arbitrary topology is presented by using network theory. A three-dimensional model is developed using the linear wave theory, dynamic model of single floating module, constitutive model of flexible connectors and model of a mooring system. As a typical application, a floating airport model is established and further its nonlinear dynamic responses and connector loads are analyzed. Numerical results show that the traditional linear analysis may underestimate the actual results. The methodology applied in this paper is extensible to many engineering problems with network structures alike.  相似文献

板片空间结构是由轻质、高强的复合板材和薄壁金属骨架或完全由板通过特定方式组合而成的一种新型空间结构体系.为研究适用于设计的理论,需要进行大规模参数化分析,因此需要适用于此分析的可行的建模方法.分析板片空间结构构件的几何拓展规律,将球面坐标系和直角坐标系结合,运用APDL语言,编制相应的建模和分析模块程序,实现了板片空间结构的参数化建模,为对板片空间结构的大规模参数化分析提供工具.并分析了板片空间结构与网壳结构的异同,将两者的建模程序相组合,实现同一程序下的两种结构的自动建模.同时运用本文所提出的建模思路可以实现大部分空间网架结构的参数化建模.  相似文献

An analytical solution for predicting the vertical distribution of streamwise mean velocity in an open channel flow with submerged flexible vegetation is proposed when large bending occurs. The flow regime is separated into two horizontal layers: a vegetation layer and a free water layer. In the vegetation layer, a mechanical analysis for the flexible vegetation is conducted, and an approximately linear relationship between the drag force of bending vegetation and the streamwise mean flow velocity is observed in the case of large deflection, which differes significantly from the case of rigid upright vegetation. Based on the theoretical analysis, a linear streamwise drag force-mean flow velocity expression in the momentum equation is derived, and an analytical solution is obtained. For the free water layer, a new expression is presented, replacing the traditional logarithmic velocity distribution, to obtain a zero velocity gradient at the water surface. Finally, the analytical predictions are compared with published experimental data, and the good agreement demonstrates that this model is effective for the open channel flow through the large deflection flexible vegetation.  相似文献
