We define and study the properties of baric algebras defined by ω-polynomial identities, called ω-PI algebras. We show that every finite dimensional baric algebra is ω-PI. Next we introduce the study of ω-PI algebras of degree 4 with one indeterminate. By gametization we reduce their study to four types. We study the first type corresponding to algebras that are neither barycentric nor invariant by gametization. We show that the variety of these algebras is partitioned into only two subvarieties admiting an unique ponderation, an idempotent, and verifying ω-monomial identities of degrees > 4.  相似文献

In this paper, we study (associative) Nijenhuis algebras, with emphasis on the relationship between the category of Nijenhuis algebras and the categories of NS algebras and related algebras. This is in analogy to the well-known theory of the adjoint functor from the category of Lie algebras to that of associative algebras, and the more recent results on the adjoint functor from the categories of dendriform and tridendriform algebras to that of Rota-Baxter algebras. We first give an explicit construction of free Nijenhuis algebras and then apply it to obtain the universal enveloping Nijenhuis algebra of an NS algebra. We further apply the construction to determine the binary quadratic nonsymmetric algebra, called the N-dendriform algebra, that is compatible with the Nijenhuis algebra. As it turns out, the N-dendriform algebra has more relations than the NS algebra.  相似文献

In this note, we apply classification results for finite-dimensional Nichols algebras to generalizations of Fomin–Kirillov algebras to complex reflection groups. First, we focus on the case of cyclic groups where the corresponding Nichols algebras are only finite-dimensional up to order four, and we include results about the existence of Weyl groupoids and finite-dimensional Nichols subalgebras for this class. Second, recent results by Heckenberger–Vendramin [ArXiv e-prints, 1412.0857 (December 2014)] on the classification of Nichols algebras of semisimple group type can be used to find that these algebras are infinite-dimensional for many non-exceptional complex reflection groups in the Shephard–Todd classification.  相似文献

We study the relationship of backcrossing algebras with mutation algebras and algebras satisfying ω-polynomial identities: we show that in a backcrossing algebra every element of weight 1 generates a mutation algebra and that for any polynomial identity f there is a backcrossing algebra satisfying f. We give a criterion for the existence of idempotent in the case of baric algebras satisfying a nonhomogeneous polynomial identity and containing a backcrossing subalgebra. We give numerous genetic interpretations of the algebraic results.  相似文献

We construct cubic Jordan algebras over an integral proper scheme X such that 2, 3 ∈ H 0(X, 𝒪 X ), generalizing a construction by B. N. Allison and J. R. Faulkner. In the process, we obtain admissible cubic algebras and pseudocomposition algebras over X. Results on the structure of these algebras are obtained, as well as examples over elliptic curves.  相似文献

We prove that assosymmetric algebras under the Jordan product are Lie triple algebras. A Lie triple algebra is called special if it is isomorphic to a subalgebra of the plus-algebra of some assosymmetric algebra. We establish that the Glennie identity of degree 8 is valid for special Lie triple algebras, but not for all Lie triple algebras.  相似文献

We discuss locally simply transitive affine actions of Lie groups G on finite-dimensional vector spaces such that the commutator subgroup [G, G] is acting by translations. In other words, we consider left-symmetric algebras satisfying the identity [x, yz = 0. We derive some basic characterizations of such left-symmetric algebras, and we highlight their relationships with the so-called Novikov algebras and derivation algebras.  相似文献

A nonassociative algebra is defined to be zeropotent if the square of any element is zero. Zeropotent algebras are exactly the same as anticommutative algebras when the characteristic of the ground field is not two. The class of zeropotent algebras properly contains that of Lie algebras. In this paper, we give a complete classification of three-dimensional zeropotent algebras over an algebraically closed field of characteristic not equal to two. By restricting the result to the subclass of Lie algebras, we can obtain a classification of three-dimensional complex Lie algebras, which is in accordance with the conventional one.  相似文献

Our aim in this article is to study Noetherian and Artinian Bernstein algebras. We show that for Bernstein algebras which are either Jordan or nuclear, each of the Noetherian and Artinian conditions implies finite dimensionality. This result fails for general Noetherian or Artinian Bernstein algebras. We also investigate the relationships between the three finiteness conditions: Noetherian, Artinian, and finitely generated. Especially, we prove that Noetherian Bernstein algebras are finitely generated.  相似文献

We study the universal enveloping algebras of the one-parameter family of solvable 5-dimensional non-Lie Malcev algebras. We explicitly determine the universal nonassociative enveloping algebras (in the sense of Pérez-Izquierdo and Shestakov) and the centers of the universal enveloping algebras. Pairing and Quantum Double of Multiplier Hopf Algebras   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
We define and investigate pairings of multiplier Hopf (*-)algebras which are nonunital generalizations of Hopf algebras. Dual pairs of multiplier Hopf algebras arise naturally from any multiplier Hopf algebra A with integral and its dual Â. Pairings of multiplier Hopf algebras play a basic rôle, e.g., in the study of actions and coactions, and, in particular, in the relation between them. This aspect of the theory is treated elsewhere. In this paper we consider the quantum double construction out of a dual pair of multiplier Hopf algebras. We show that two dually paired regular multiplier Hopf (*-)algebras A and B yield a quantum double which is again a regular multiplier Hopf (*-)algebra. If A and B have integrals, then the quantum double also has an integral. If A and B are Hopf algebras, then the quantum double multiplier Hopf algebra is the usual quantum double. The quantum double construction for dually paired multiplier Hopf (*-)algebras yields new nontrivial examples of multiplier Hopf (*-)algebras.  相似文献

It is a small step toward the Koszul-type algebras.The piecewise-Koszul algebras are, in general,a new class of quadratic algebras but not the classical Koszul ones,simultaneously they agree with both the classical Koszul and higher Koszul algebras in special cases.We give a criteria theorem for a graded algebra A to be piecewise-Koszul in terms of its Yoneda-Ext algebra E(A),and show an A_∞-structure on E(A).Relations between Koszul algebras and piecewise-Koszul algebras are discussed.In particular,our results are related to the third question of Green-Marcos.  相似文献

In this paper we generalize naturally graded filiform Lie algebras as well as filiform Lie algebras admitting a connected gradation of maximal length, by introducing the concept of c-graded complex filiform Lie algebras. We deal with the particular case of 3-graded filiform Lie algebras and we obtain their classification in arbitrary dimension. We finally show a link among derived algebras, graded filiform and rigid solvable Lie algebras.  相似文献

In a previous paper, the first-named author introduced generalized structurable algebras, while the second-named author introduced the isotopies of Lie algebras. In this paper, we combine the two analyses, submit the notion of isogeneralized structural algebras, and show that they include Lie algebras, all their axiom-preserving generalizations of graded, supersymmetric or isotopic type, as well as numerous other algebras.  相似文献

We classify Nichols algebras of irreducible Yetter–Drinfeld modules over nonabelian groups satisfying an inequality for the dimension of the homogeneous subspace of degree two. All such Nichols algebras are finite-dimensional, and all known finite-dimensional Nichols algebras of nonabelian group type appear in the result of our classification. We find a new finite-dimensional Nichols algebra over fields of characteristic two.  相似文献

An inclusion of II 1 factors NM of finite index has as an invariant, a double sequence of finite-dimensional algebras known as the standard invariant. Planar algebras were introduced by V. Jones as a geometric tool for computing standard invariants of existing subfactors as well as generating standard invariants for new subfactors. In this paper we define a class of planar algebras, termed exchange relation planar algebras, that provides a general framework for understanding several classes of known subfactor inclusions: the Fuss–Catalan algebras (i.e. those coming from the presence of intermediate subfactors) and all depth 2 subfactors. In addition, we present a new class of planar algebras (and thus a new class of subfactors) coming from automorphism subgroups of finite groups.  相似文献

After reformulating the representation theory of 0-Hecke algebras in an appropriate family of Yang-Baxter bases, we investigate certain specializations of the Ariki-Koike algebras, obtained by setting q=0 in a suitably normalized version of Shoji's presentation. We classify the simple and projective modules, and describe restrictions, induction products, Cartan invariants and decomposition matrices. This allows us to identify the Grothendieck rings of the towers of algebras in terms of certain graded Hopf algebras known as the Mantaci-Reutenauer descent algebras, and Poirier quasi-symmetric functions. We also describe the Ext-quivers, and conclude with numerical tables.  相似文献

Sabinin algebras are a broad generalization of Lie algebras that include Lie, Malcev and Bol algebras as very particular examples. We present a construction of a universal enveloping algebra for Sabinin algebras, and the corresponding Poincaré-Birkhoff-Witt Theorem. A nonassociative counterpart of Hopf algebras is also introduced and a version of the Milnor-Moore Theorem is proved. Loop algebras and universal enveloping algebras of Sabinin algebras are natural examples of these nonassociative Hopf algebras. Identities of loops move to identities of nonassociative Hopf algebras by a linearizing process. In this way, nonassociative algebras and Hopf algebras interlace smoothly.  相似文献

We extend the concept of the “join” to the case of infinitely many weighted algebras. We study the problem of its uniqueness (up to weighted isomorphism) which gives rise to a natural notion of homogeneous weighted algebras. We show that several classes of weighted algebras coming from genetics are homogeneous and that homogeneity is preserved by duplication. Finally, we examine some well-known weighted algebras satisfying identities, as Bernstein, train, and evolution algebras.  相似文献
