In this paper, we give a necessary and sufficient condition that a locally biholomorphic mapping f on the unit ball B in a complex Hilbert space X is a biholomorphic convex mapping, which improves some results of Hamada and Kohr and solves the problem which is posed by Graham and Kohr. From this, we derive some sufficient conditions for biholomorphic convex mapping. We also introduce a linear operator in purpose to construct some concrete examples of biholomorphic convex mappings on B in Hilbert spaces. Moreover, we give some examples of biholomorphic convex mappings on B in Hilbert spaces.  相似文献

Let X be a real locally uniformly convex Banach space with normalized duality mapping J:X→2X*. The purpose of this note is to show that for every R>0 and every x0X there exists a function , which is nondecreasing and such that (r)>0 for r>0,(0)=0 and
for all . Simply, it is shown that the necessity part of the proof of the original analogous necessary and sufficient condition of Prüß, for real uniformly convex Banach spaces, goes over equally well in the present setting. This is a natural setting for the study of many existence problems in accretive and monotone operator theories.  相似文献

The growth theorem and the 1/2-covering theorem are obtained for the class of normalized biholomorphic convex mappings on bounded convex circular domains, which extend the corresponding results of Sufridge, Thomas, Liu, Gong, Yu, and Wang. The approach is new, which does not appeal to the automorphisms of the domains; and the domains discussed are rather general on which convex mappings can be studied, since the domain may not have a convex mapping if it is not convex. It is shown, by asymptotic center techniques, that the set of fixed points of any uniformly k-lipschitzian mapping in a uniformly convex Banach space is a retract of the domain when k is less than a constant bigger than the constant from the paper [K. Goebel, W.A. Kirk, A fixed point theorem for transformations whose iterates have uniform Lipschitz constant, Studia Math. 47 (1973) 135-140]. Our result improves a recently result presented in [E. S?d?ak, A. Wi?nicki, On the structure of fixed-point sets of uniformly lipschitzian mappings, Topol. Methods Nonlinear Anal. 30 (2007) 345-350].  相似文献

This paper studies the convergence of the sequence defined by x0∈C,xn 1=αnu (1-αn)Txn,n=0,1,2,…, where 0 ≤αn ≤ 1, limn→∞αn = 0, ∑∞n=0 αn = ∞, and T is a nonexpansive mapping from a nonempty closed convex subset C of a Banach space X into itself. The iterative sequence {xn} converges strongly to a fixed point of T in the case when X is a uniformly convex Banach space with a uniformly Gateaux differentiable norm or a uniformly smooth Banach space only. In this paper, we introduce an iteration scheme given by finite nonexpansive mappings in Banach spaces and then prove weak convergence theorems which are connected with the problem of image recovery. Using the results, we consider the problem of finding a common fixed point of finite nonexpansive mappings.  相似文献

In this paper, we prove necessary and sufficient conditions for a sense-preserving harmonic function to be absolutely convex in the open unit disc. We also estimate the coefficient bound and obtain growth, covering and area theorems for absolutely convex harmonic mappings. A natural generalization of the classical Bernardi-type operator for harmonic functions is considered and its connection between certain classes of uniformly starlike harmonic functions and uniformly convex harmonic functions is also investigated. At the end, as applications, we present a number of results connected with hypergeometric and polylogarithm functions.  相似文献

We show that any fixed point of a Lipschitzian, strictly pseudocontractive mapping on a closed, convex subset of a Banach space is necessarily unique, and may be norm approximated by an iterative procedure. Our argument provides a convergence rate estimate and removes the boundedness assumption on , generalizing theorems of Liu.

In this paper, we introduce two types of new Banach spaces: k-super-strongly convex spaces and k-super-strongly smooth spaces. It is proved that these two notions are dual. We also prove that the class of k-super-strongly convexifiable spaces is strictly between locally k-uniformly rotund spaces and k-strongly convex spaces, and obtain some necessary and sufficient conditions of k-super-strongly convex space (respectively k-super-strongly smooth space). Also, for each k?2, it is shown that there exists a k-super-strongly convex (respectively k-super-strongly smooth) space which is not (k−1)-super-strongly convex (respectively (k−1)-super-strongly smooth) space.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with convergence of an approximating common fixed point sequence of countable Lipschitzian mappings in a uniformly convex Banach space. We introduce a new condition for a class of mappings to obtain several weak and strong convergence theorems. This new condition is implied by many previous known conditions introduced by many authors. We also apply our results for a class of nonexpansive mappings and asymptotically nonexpansive mappings and we immediately obtain convergence theorems proved by Song-Chen, Kimura-Takahashi, Tan-Xu, and many others.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to study the Ishikawa type iterative scheme to approximate a common fixed point of infinite families of uniformly quasi-Lipschitzian mappings and nonexpansive mappings in convex metric spaces. Under appropriate conditions, some convergence theorems are proved. The results presented in the paper generalize, improve and unify some recent results.  相似文献

In this paper, we study univalent holomorphic mappings of the unit ball in that have the property that the image contains a line for some , . We show that under certain rather reasonable conditions, up to composition with a holomorphic automorphism of the ball, the mapping is an extension of the strip mapping in the plane to higher dimensions.
