1H, 13C and 15N NMR studies of gold(III), palladium(II) and platinum(II) chloride complexes with dimethylpyridines (lutidines: 2,3‐lutidine, 2,3lut; 2,4‐lutidine, 2,4lut; 3,5‐lutidine, 3,5lut; 2,6‐lutidine, 2,6lut) and 2,4,6‐trimethylpyridine (2,4,6‐collidine, 2,4,6col) having general formulae [AuLCl3], trans‐[PdL2Cl2] and trans‐/cis‐[PtL2Cl2] were performed and the respective chemical shifts (δ1H, δ13C, δ15N) reported. The deshielding of protons and carbons, as well as the shielding of nitrogens was observed. The 1H, 13C and 15N NMR coordination shifts (Δ1Hcoord, Δ13Ccoord, Δ15Ncoord; Δcoord = δcomplex ? δligand) were discussed in relation to some structural features of the title complexes, such as the type of the central atom [Au(III), Pd(II), Pt(II)], geometry (trans‐ or cis‐), metal‐nitrogen bond lengths and the position of both methyl groups in the pyridine ring system. 1H, 13C and 15N nuclear magnetic resonance studies of gold(III), palladium(II) and platinum(II) chloride complexes with phenylpyridines (PPY: 4‐phenylpyridine, 4ppy; 3‐phenylpyridine, 3ppy; and 2‐phenylpyridine, 2ppy) having the general formulae [Au(PPY)Cl3], trans‐/cis‐[Pd(PPY)2Cl2] and trans‐/cis‐[Pt(PPY)2Cl2] were performed and the respective chemical shifts (δ, δ and δ) reported. 1H, 13C and 15N coordination shifts (i.e. differences between chemical shifts of the same atom in the complex and ligand molecules: , , ) were discussed in relation to the type of the central atom (Au(III), Pd(II) and Pt(II)), geometry (trans‐/cis‐) and the position of a phenyl group in the pyridine ring system. 1H, 13C, 15N and 195Pt NMR studies of gold(III) and platinum(II) chloride organometallics with N(1),C(2′)‐chelated, deprotonated 2‐phenylpyridine (2ppy*) of the formulae [Au(2ppy*)Cl2], trans(N,N)‐[Pt(2ppy*)(2ppy)Cl] and trans(S,N)‐[Pt(2ppy*)(DMSO‐d6)Cl] (formed in situ upon dissolving [Pt(2ppy*)(µ‐Cl)]2 in DMSO‐d6) were performed. All signals were unambiguously assigned by HMBC/HSQC methods and the respective 1H, 13C and 15N coordination shifts (i.e. differences between chemical shifts of the same atom in the complex and ligand molecules: Δ1Hcoord = δ1Hcomplex ? δ1Hligand, Δ13Ccoord = δ13Ccomplex ? δ13Cligand, Δ15Ncoord = δ15Ncomplex ? δ15Nligand), as well as 195Pt chemical shifts and 1H‐195Pt coupling constants discussed in relation to the known molecular structures. Characteristic deshielding of nitrogen‐adjacent H(6) protons and metallated C(2′) atoms as well as significant shielding of coordinated N(1) nitrogens is discussed in respect to a large set of literature NMR data available for related cyclometallated compounds. The crystal and molecular structure of potassium aquapentachloroiridate(III) (K2[Ir(H2O)Cl5]) was reported. The [Ir(H2O)Cl5]2− anions are nearly octahedral, the axial Ir–Cl bond (2.322(2) Å) being shorter than the equatorial ones (2.346(2)–2.360(2) Å); the Ir–O bond length is 2.090(4) Å. Ir(III) chloride complexes with 2,2′-bipyridine (LL = bpy) or 1,10-phenanthroline (LL = phen), of the general formulae K[Ir(LL)Cl4] and cis-[Ir(LL)2Cl2]Cl, were studied by far-IR and 1H–13C, 1H–15N HMBC/HMQC/HSQC–NMR. High-frequency 1H NMR coordination shifts (Δ1Hcoord = δ1Hcomplex − δ1Hligand; max. ca. +1 ppm) were noted for [Ir(LL)Cl4] anions, while for cis-[Ir(LL)2Cl2]+ cations they had variable sign and magnitude (max. ca. ±1 ppm); they were dependent on the proton position, being mostly expressed for the nitrogen-adjacent hydrogens (H(6) for bpy, H(2) for phen). 13C NMR signals were high-frequency shifted (by max. ca. 8 ppm), whereas all 15N nuclei were shifted to the lower frequency (by ca. 105–120 ppm). The experimental 1H, 13C, 15N NMR chemical shifts were reproduced by semi-empirical quantum-chemical calculations (B3LYP/LanL2DZ+6-31G**//B3LYP/LanL2DZ+6-31G*).  相似文献

There have been synthesized Pt(II) stereoisomeric complexes with hydroxy-α-amino acid serine (SerH = NH2CH(CH2OH)COOH is α-amino-β-hydroxypropionic acid): trans-[Pt(S-SerH)2Cl2], trans-[Pt(R-SerH)(S-SerH)Cl2] with monodentately (through NH2 group ) bound SerH and cis-, trans-[Pt(R-Ser)(S-Ser)], trans-[Pt(S-Ser)2] with bidentately bound (through groups NH2 and COO) ligands (R, S is the absolute configuration of asymmetric carbon atom). The successive phases in the synthesis of Pt(II) stereoisomeric complexes with serine were studied by 195Pt NMR spectroscopy. To identificate the compounds synthesized the method of elemental analysis, IR and NMR (195Pt, 13C, 1H) spectroscopy were used. For trans-[Pt(R-Ser)(S-Ser)] the X-ray diffraction data were obtained.  相似文献

1H, 13C, and 15N NMR studies of platinide(II) (M=Pd, Pt) chloride complexes with quinolines (L=quinoline-quin, or isoquinoline-isoquin; LL=2,2'-biquinoline-bquin), having the general formulae trans-/cis-[ML2Cl2] and [M(LL)Cl2], were performed and the respective chemical shifts (delta1H, delta13C, delta15N) reported. 1H coordination shifts of various signs and magnitudes (Delta1Hcoord=delta1Hcomplex-delta1Hligand) are discussed in relation to the changes of diamagnetic contribution to the relevant 1H shielding constants. The comparison to the literature data for similar complexes containing auxiliary ligands other than chlorides exhibited a large dependence of delta1H parameters on electron density variations and ring-current effects (inductive and anisotropic phenomena). The influence of deviations from planarity, concerning either MN2Cl2 chromophores or azine ring systems, revealed by the known X-ray structures of [Pd(bquin)Cl2] and [Pt(bquin)Cl2], is discussed in respect to 1H NMR spectra. 15N coordination shifts (Delta15Ncoord=delta15Ncomplex-delta15Nligand) of ca. 78-100 ppm (to lower frequency) are attributed mainly to the decrease of the absolute value of paramagnetic contribution in the relevant 15N shielding constants, this phenomenon being noticeably dependent on the type of a platinide metal and coordination sphere geometry. The absolute magnitude of Delta15Ncoord parameter increased by ca 15 ppm upon Pd(II)-->Pt(II) replacement but decreased by ca. 15 ppm following trans-->cis transition. Experimental 1H, 13C, 15N NMR chemical shifts are compared to those quantum-chemically calculated by B3LYP/LanL2DZ+6-31G**//B3LYP/LanL2DZ+6-31G*, both in vacuo and in CHCl3 or DMF solution.  相似文献

Complexes of Pd(II) with aminobutyric acid AmH = NH2CH(CH2CH3)COOH, namely, trans-[Pd(AmH)2Cl2] with monodentate (via the NH2 group) AmH ligands and cis-, trans-Pd(Am)2 with bidentate (via NH2 and COO groups) ligands have been synthesized for the first time. Elemental analysis and IR and NMR spectroscopy were used to identify the synthesized compounds. The NMR spectra of the Pd(II) complexes were interpreted by comparing them with the NMR spectra of the analogous complexes of Pt(II). For Pt(II) and Pd(II) complexes with aminobutyric acid used as examples, an approach to identification of diastereomer bis-aminoacid complexes in specimens with racemic aminoacids by NMR spectroscopy is demonstrated.  相似文献

Synthesis, Crystal Structures, and Vibrational Spectra of [Pt(N3)6]2– and [Pt(N3)Cl5]2–, 195Pt and 15N NMR Spectra of [Pt(N3)nCl6–n]2– and [Pt(15NN2)n(N215N)6–n]2–, n = 0–6 By ligand exchange of [PtCl6]2– with sodium azide mixed complexes of the series [Pt(N3)nCl6–n]2– and with 15N‐labelled sodium azide (Na15NN2) mixtures of the isotopomeres [Pt(15NN2)n(N215N)6–n]2–, n = 0–6 and the pair [Pt(15NN2)Cl5]2–/[Pt(N215N)Cl5]2– are formed. X‐ray structure determinations on single crystals of (Ph4P)2[Pt(N3)6] ( 1 ) (triclinic, space group P1, a = 10.175(1), b = 10.516(1), c = 12.380(2) Å, α = 87.822(9), β = 73.822(9), γ = 67.987(8)°, Z = 1) and (Ph4As)2[Pt(N3)Cl5] · HCON(CH3)2 ( 2 ) (triclinic, space group P1, a = 10.068(2), b = 11.001(2), c = 23.658(5) Å, α = 101.196(14), β = 93.977(15), γ = 101.484(13)°, Z = 2) have been performed. The bond lengths are Pt–N = 2.088 ( 1 ), 2.105 ( 2 ) and Pt–Cl = 2.318 Å ( 2 ). The approximate linear azido ligands with Nα–Nβ–Nγ‐angles = 173.5–174.6° are bonded with Pt–Nα–Nβ‐angles = 116.4–121.0°. In the vibrational spectra the PtCl stretching vibrations of (n‐Bu4N)2[Pt(N3)Cl5] are observed at 318–345, the PtN stretching modes of (n‐Bu4N)2[Pt(N3)6] at 401–428 and of (n‐Bu4N)2[Pt(N3)Cl5] at 408–413 cm–1. The mixtures (n‐Bu4N)2[Pt(15NN2)n(N215N)6–n], n = 0–6 and (n‐Bu4N)2[Pt(15NN2)Cl5]/(n‐Bu4N)2[Pt(N215N)Cl5] exhibit 15N‐isotopic shifts up to 20 cm–1. Based on the molecular parameters of the X‐ray determinations the vibrational spectra are assigned by normal coordinate analysis. The average valence force constants are fd(PtCl) = 1.93, fd(PtNα) = 2.38 and fd(NαNβ, NβNγ) = 12.39 mdyn/Å. In the 195Pt NMR spectrum of [Pt(N3)nCl6–n]2–, n = 0–6 downfield shifts with the increasing number of azido ligands are observed in the range 4766–5067 ppm. The 15N NMR spectrum of (n‐Bu4N)2[Pt(15NN2)n(N215N)6–n], n = 0–6 exhibits by 15N–195Pt coupling a pseudotriplett at –307.5 ppm. Due to the isotopomeres n = 0–5 for terminal 15N six well‐resolved signals with distances of 0.03 ppm are observed in the low field region at –201 to –199 ppm.  相似文献

The polar phosphanyl‐carboxamide, 1′‐(diphenylphosphanyl)‐1‐[N‐(2‐hydroxyethyl)carbamoyl]ferrocene ( 1 ), reacts readily with hydrogen peroxide and elemental sulfur to give the corresponding phosphane‐oxide and phosphane‐sulfide, respectively, and with platinum(II) and palladium(II) precursors to afford various bis(phosphane) complexes [MCl2( 1 ‐κP)2] (M = trans‐Pd, trans‐Pt and cis‐Pt). The anticancer activity of the compounds was evaluated in vitro with the complexes showing moderate cytotoxicities towards human ovarian cancer cells. Moreover, the biological activity was found to be strongly influenced by the stereochemistry, with trans‐[PtCl2( 1 ‐κP)2] being an order of magnitude more active than the corresponding cis isomer. Summary The nitrogen-donor ligands 1-methylbenzotriazole (1Mebta), 5-methylbenzotriazole (5MebtaH), 5-chlorobenzotriazole (5ClbtaH) and 5-nitrobenzotriazole (5NO2btaH) react with palladium(II) and platinum(II) to give cis-[PdL2Cl2], cis-[PtL2Cl2] (L = 1Mebta, 5MebtaH, 5ClbtaH or 5NO2btaH), [Pt(5ClbtaH)4]Cl2, [Pd-(5MebtaH)Cl2]2, [Pd(5ClbtaH)Cl2]2 and [Pd(5NO2btaH)-Cl2]2. The complexes were characterized by physicochemical and spectroscopic methods. The benzotriazoles act as monodentate ligands binding through N(3). Monomeric square planar structures are assigned for the 12 complexes and [Pt(5ClbtaH)4]Cl2 in the solid state. Centrosymmetric, chloro-bridged, dinuclear square planar structures of C2h symmetry are proposed for the 11 palladium(II) compounds.  相似文献

trans-[Co(py)4Cl2]Cl·6H2O, mer-[Co(py)3Cl3] and mer-[Co(py)3(CO3)Cl] were studied by UV-Vis, far-IR and 1H, 13C, 15N NMR. The formation of Co-N bonds lead to variable in sign and magnitude changes of 1H NMR chemical shifts, heavily dependent on proton position, coordination sphere geometry and character of auxiliary ligands. 13C nuclei were deshielded upon Co(III) coordination, while 15N NMR studies exhibited ca. 85–110 ppm shielding effects (ca. 15–25 ppm more expressed for nitrogens trans to N than trans to Cl or O). 13C and 15N CPMAS spectra revealed a slight inequivalency of formally identical Co-py bonds in trans-[Co(py)4Cl2]Cl·6H2O and mer-[Co(py)3Cl3], suggesting for the latter complex an existence of distortion isomers. In chloroform, a spontaneous trans-[Co(py)4Cl2]Cl → mer-[Co(py)3Cl3] + py reaction was monitored by 1H NMR and UV-Vis. This process of py → Cl substitution allowed the design of a more convenient and efficient method of mer-[Co(py)3Cl3] preparation.   相似文献

1H, 13C and 15N NMR studies of platinide(II) (M=Pd, Pt) chloride complexes with methyl and phenyl derivatives of 2,2'-bipyridine and 1,10-phenanthroline [LL=4,4'-dimethyl-2,2'-bipyridine (dmbpy); 4,4'-diphenyl-2,2'-bipyridine (dpbpy); 4,7-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline (dmphen); 4,7-diphenyl-1,10-phenanthroline (dpphen)] having a general [M(LL)Cl2] formula were performed and the respective chemical shifts (delta1H, delta13C, delta15N) reported. 1H high-frequency coordination shifts (Delta1Hcoord=delta1Hcomplex-delta1Hligand) were discussed in relation to the changes of diamagnetic contribution in the relevant 1H shielding constants. The comparison to literature data for similar [M(LL)(XX)], [M(LL)X2] and [M(LL)XY] coordination or organometallic compounds containing various auxiliary ligands revealed a large dependence of delta1H parameters on inductive and anisotropic effects. 15N low-frequency coordination shifts (Delta15Ncoord=delta 15Ncomplex-delta15Nligand) of ca 88-96 ppm for M=Pd and ca 103-111 ppm for M=Pt were attributed to both the decrease of the absolute value of paramagnetic contribution and the increase of the diamagnetic term in the expression for 15N shielding constants. The absolute magnitude of Delta15Ncoord parameter increased by ca 15 ppm upon Pd(II)-->Pt(II) transition and by ca 6-7 ppm following dmbpy-->dmphen or dpbpy-->dpphen ligand replacement; variations between analogous complexes containing methyl and phenyl ligands (dmbpy vs dpbpy; dmphen vs dpphen) did not exceed+/-1.5 ppm. Experimental 1H, 13C, 15N NMR chemical shifts were compared to those quantum-chemically calculated by B3LYP/LanL2DZ+6-31G**//B3LYP/LanL2DZ+6-31G*, both in vacuo and in DMSO or DMF solution.  相似文献

The 1H{15N} NMR spectrum of 5,7‐diphenyl‐1,2,4‐triazolo[1,5‐a]‐pyrimidine ( 3 ) was measured by GHMQC, unambiguously assigned and compared with the spectra of 1,2,4‐triazolo[1,5‐a]pyrimidine ( 1 ) and 5,7‐dimethyl‐1,2,4‐triazolo[1,5‐a]pyrimidine ( 2 ). A series of Au(III) chloride complexes of general formula AuLCl3, where L = 1 , 2 , 3 , was synthesized and studied by 1HH{15N} GHMQC and 1H{13C} GHMBC. Low‐frequency shifts of 72–74 ppm (15N) and 5–6 ppm (13C) were observed upon complexation by Au(III) ions for the coordination site N‐3 and adjacent C‐2, C‐3a atoms, respectively. The 13C signals of C‐5, C‐6, C‐7 and the 1H resonances of H‐2, H‐6 were shifted to higher frequency. Comparison with analogous Pd(II), Pt(II) and Pt(IV) complexes revealed that in the case of Au(III) coordination the 15N shifts were relatively smaller, whereas those for 13C and 1H were larger. Sodium thiosulfate has been utilized as a rescuing agent for relief of the toxic effects of cisplatin and carboplatin. In this work, we characterized the kinetics of reactions of the trans-dichloro-platinum(IV) complexes cis-[Pt(NH3)2Cl4], ormaplatin [Pt(dach)Cl4] and trans-[PtCl2(CN)4]2? (anticancer prodrugs and a model compound) with thiosulfate at biologically important pH. An overall second-order rate law was established for the reduction of trans-[PtCl2(CN)4]2? by thiosulfate, and varying the pH from 4.45 to 7.90 had virtually no influence on the reaction rate. In the reactions of thiosulfate with cis-[Pt(NH3)2Cl4] and with [Pt(dach)Cl4], the kinetic traces displayed a fast reduction step followed by a slow substitution involving the intermediate Pt(II) complexes. The reduction step also followed second-order kinetics. Reductions of cis-[Pt(NH3)2Cl4] and [Pt(dach)Cl4] by thiosulfate proceeded with similar rates, presumably due to their similar configurations, whereas the reduction of trans-[PtCl2(CN)4]2? was about 1,000 times faster. A common reduction mechanism is suggested, and the transition state for the rate-determining step has been delineated. The activation parameters are consistent with transfer of Cl+ from the platinum(IV) center to the attacking thiosulfate in the rate-determining step.  相似文献

The reactions of AuIII, PtII and PdII complexes with 2-pyridinecarboxaldehyde (2CHO-py) have been examined in protic (H2O, MeOH, EtOH) and aprotic (DMF, CH2Cl2) solvents. Compounds in which the pyridine ligand is N-coordinated, either in the original aldehydic form or in a new form derived from addition of one or two protic molecules, have been isolated, namely: [Au(2CHO-py · H2O)Cl3], [Au(2CHO-py · MeOH)Cl3], [Au(2CHO-py · 2EtOH)Cl3], cis-[Pt(2CHO-py)2Cl2], trans-[Pd(2CHO-py)2Cl2], trans-[Pt(dmso)(2CHO-py)Cl2], [Pt{C5H4N-(CH2SMe)}Cl(2CHO-py)](ClO4), [Pt(terpy)(2CHOpy)](ClO4)2, [Pt(terpy)(2CHO-py · H2O)](ClO4)2 (terpy = 2,2′:6′,2′′-terpyridine). 1H-n.m.r. experiments show that the addition of the protic molecule(s) to the PtII and PdII complexes is reversible. The effects of the nature of the metal ion and the ancillary ligands as well as of the total charge of the complexes on the relative stability of the addition products are discussed. This revised version was published online in June 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.  相似文献

The results show that different oxidation states of platinum, different halide ligands, chelating aminocarboxylato and diamine backbones have similar effects with edda-type ligands and activity is lower than for cisplatin.  相似文献

Metal Complexes of Biologically Important Ligands. CXXVI. Palladium(II) and Platinum(II) Complexes with the Antimalarial Drug Mefloquine as Ligand The coordination sites of the antimalarial drug mefloquine (L) were studied. Reactions of the chloro bridged complexes (allyl)Pd(μ‐Cl)2Pd(allyl) and (R3P)(Cl)M(μ‐Cl)2M(Cl)(PR3) (M = Pd, Pt) with racemic mefloquine give the compounds (allyl)(Cl)Pd(L) ( 1 ), Cl2(Et3P)Pt(L) ( 2 ) and Cl2(Et3P)Pd(L) ( 3 ) with coordination of the piperidine N atom of mefloquine. In the presence of NaOMe the N,O‐chelate complexes Cl(Et3P)Pt(L–H+) ( 4 ) and Cl(R3P)Pd(L–H+) ( 5 , 6 , R = Et, nBu) were obtained. Protection of the piperidine N atom of mefloquine by protonation allows the synthesis of the complexes Cl2(Et3P)Pt(L + H+) ( 7 ) in which mefloquine is coordinated via the quinoline N atom. The structures of 2 , 3 and 4 were determined by X‐ray diffraction analysis. In the crystal of 4 pairs of enantiomers are found which are linked by two hydrogen bridges between the amine group and the chloro ligand.  相似文献
