2-Methyl-and 2,5-dialkyl-5-phenoxy-1,3-dioxanes were synthesized and separated into their geometrical isomers by precision rectification. The configuration and conformations of these isomers were determined by PMR spectroscopy. It is shown that the low-boiling trans isomers exist primarily in the chair conformation with an equatorial phenoxy group, whereas the high-boiling cis isomers exist primarily in the chair conformation with an axial phenoxy group.  相似文献

对[Co(2,3-tri)(amp)Cl]^2^+四个几何经式异构体在不同条件下的取代及重排反应进行了详细的考察。因二元胺中吡啶环造成的空间拥塞,使cis异构体碱水解速度比trans异构体约快100倍,控制碱水解实验结果表明,每一异构体的水解产物均含四个经式异构体,且具有相同分布。实验过程中未观察到面式异构体。在二甲亚砜中加热的重排反应中,异构体m1表现出最高的反应性,cis异构体均首先转化为trans异构体m3,而后可观察到trans异构体m3与m4的平衡。利用时间分辨核磁共振仪测定了氘代水里各异构体中各活性氢的氘代化速度。反应活性最低的异构体m4具有氘代速度最快的活性氢,当这些活性氢完全氘代化时仍未见其水解或重排产物;而相同实验条件下异构体m1或m2中相应活性氢的氘代化速度则要缓慢得多,但同时可观察到水解和重排产物。这说明在碱催化水解过程中氘代速度快的活性氢与异构体的反应性并非正比关系,然而活性氢的氘代化是观察到异构体水解重排的必要条件。利用量子化学从头计算法在赝势基组RHF/LANL2DZ的水平上对该体系各异构体进行了结构优化计算,与对应异构体的晶体结构参数比较,一般相对误差不超过3%,从能量角度来看,cis异构体比trans异构体高出约4kJ/mol,而面式异构体则至少比经式异构体高约17kJ/mol;考虑溶剂化影响,一般约低5kJ/mol。考察结构参数结果显示,结构变形性参数能较好地解释异构体反应活性。  相似文献

Cis/trans configurations of carotenoids are known to effect the biochemistry of carotenoids in certain situations. Methodology for separating carotenoid cis/trans isomers is of importance to nutritionists and food scientists because cis isomers of provitamin A carotenoids have lower provitamin A activities than the all-trans form. Traditional food processing and preservation methods, especially thermal treatments, induce the formation of cis isomeric forms. However, many challenges, are apparent for identifying and analyzing cis/trans isomers present in foods and other biological tissues. The development of current chromatographic methods for the separation of carotenoid cis/trans isomers is reviewed. For the separation of beta-carotene isomers, most procedures employ either Ca(OH)2 or Vydac C18 columns. In general, polymeric C18 columns allow for the detection of cis carotenes, while monomeric C18 columns provide for some separation of certain xanthophylls. The main cis isomers detected in foods are the 13-cis and 9-cis forms, although other forms have also been found (mainly 15-cis and various di-cis isomers). More studies involving the metabolism and physiological consequences of cis/trans isomers in the diet are needed. However, due to limitations in current techniques, further method development in the area of separation, detection and quantitation of cis/trans carotenoid isomers will be required.  相似文献

A series of alkyl- and aryl-substituted derivatives of cis,cis-1,2,5,6-tetrasilacycloocta-3,7-diene were prepared. Isomerization of these compounds to the corresponding trans,trans-1,2,5,6-tetrasilacycloocta-3,7-dienes by exposure to Ru and Zr hydride complexes was explored. Experimental probes of the isomerization were consistent with a stepwise mechanism involving metal hydride addition/elimination rather than one involving radical intermediates. Analysis of the low energy conformers of the various cis and trans isomers of 1,1,2,2,5,5,6,6-octamethyl-1,2,5,6-tetrasilacycloocta-3,7-diene using density functional theory suggested the following trend in stability: trans,trans > cis,trans > cis,cis. The calculated trend in stability was consistent with the experimentally observed unidirectional isomerization of the carbon-carbon double bonds from all cis to all trans and supports a cis,trans isomer as a tenable intermediate.  相似文献

We have performed ab initio molecular dynamics simulations based on density functional theory to characterize the structural, electronic, and dynamic properties of the three major isomeric forms of the title compound. In agreement with experimental results, calculations with two different parametrizations of the exchange-correlation functional (BLYP and BP) both indicate the cis-C2 form as the most stable isomer. The relative energies of the different forms are, however, small (less than approximately 1-2 kcal/mol), and the three compounds show overall very similar ground-state properties. Larger differences exist in their finite temperature behavior, which is dominated by the facile dissociation of one or both phosphine ligands. The calculated activation energies for phosphine dissociation differ clearly for the trans and the cis isomers and vary in the order trans < cis-C2 less than approximately cis-Ci. Analysis of the electronic structure of the transition states shows that the difference in activation energy between cis and trans isomers can be rationalized in terms of a classic trans effect caused by a molecular orbital spanning the three atomic centers N-W-P. The subtle difference between the two cis isomers, on the other hand, is likely due to an analogous four-center trans effect N-W-W-P which is mediated via metal-metal orbitals and involves ligands on both tungsten atoms.  相似文献

5-Alkyl-2-methyl-2-carbomethoxy-1,3-dioxanes were found to have a cis preferential configuration in the equilibrium state, and the ester hydrolysis rate of the trans-isomers was faster than that of the cis-isomers. Conformational analysis and charge calculation of the carbomethoxy group in both dioxanes elucidated this selectivity.  相似文献

Cyclohexane‐1,3,5‐tricarbonitrile reached equilibrium having 1,3‐cis‐1,5‐cis and 1,3‐cis‐1,5‐trans isomers in a ratio of 3:7. The cis, cis‐isomer preferred the conformation with three equatorial cyano groups, where as the cis, trans‐isomer displayed two cyano groups on equatorial positions and another cyano group on axial position. Condensation of cis, cis‐cyclohexane‐1,3,5‐tricarbonitrile with L‐(S)‐valinol by the catalysis of ZnCl2 in refluxing 1,2‐dichlorobenzene afforded two isomeric cyclohexane‐1,3,5‐trioxazolines in favor of the 1,3‐cis‐1,5‐trans isomer. Metalation of cis, cis‐cyclohexane‐1,3,5‐tricarbonitrile, followed by alkylations with dimethyl sulfate, benzyl bromide or allyl bromide, gave the cor responding trialkylation products with predominance of 1,3‐cis‐1,5‐trans isomers. The cis, trans‐isomer showed two cyano groups on axial positions and another cyano group on equatorial position, where as the cis, cis‐isomer exhibited three axial cyano groups. Treatment of trimethyl cis, cis‐cyclohexane‐1,3,5‐tricarboxylate with lithium diisopropylamide and dimethyl sulfate afforded mainly the trimethyl ester of Kemp's triacid, which showed three axial carboxylate groups. Two competitive factors, i.e. the steric effect of in coming electrophiles and the dipole‐dipole inter actions of the cyano or carboxylate groups, might inter play to give different stereoselectivities in these reaction systems.  相似文献

The rates and products from the acid-catalyzed and the pH-independent reactions of two diastereomeric 6-methoxy-trans-1,2,3,4,4a,10a-hexahydrophenanthrene 9,10-oxides (5b and 7b), along with their cis and trans chlorohydrins, have been determined in dioxane/water solutions. The mechanisms of the acid-catalyzed hydrolysis of 5b and 7b involve rate-limiting formation of benzylic carbocations (6b and 8b), which have sufficient lifetimes to be trapped by azide ion. Each carbocation is stabilized by the 6-methoxy group and held in single conformation by the adjacent trans-fused cyclohexane ring. The stereochemistry of the attack of water on each carbocation is independent of whether the precursor is an epoxide, a cis chlorohydrin, or a trans chlorohydrin, and the major diol hydrolysis product from each compound results from the axial attack of a solvent molecule on the carbocation intermediate. The hydrolysis of the trans chlorohydrin formed from the reaction of 5b with HCl exhibits a common ion rate depression. The major product from the pH-independent reaction of 5b is a trans diol, and the major product from the pH-independent reaction of 7b is an isomeric ketone. The rate of the pH-independent reaction of 7b is >10(4) times faster than that of 5b.  相似文献

The disubstitution effects of X and Y in 1-(Y-phenyl)-3-(X-phenyl)-2,3-dihydro-1H-naphth[1,2-e][1,3]oxazines on the ring-chain tautomerism, the delocalization of the nitrogen lone pair (anomeric effect), and the (13)C NMR chemical shifts were analyzed by using multiple linear regression analysis. Study of the three-component equilibrium B<==>A<==>C revealed that the chain<==>trans (A<==>B) equilibrium constants are significantly influenced by the inductive effect (sigma(F)) of substituent Y on the 1-phenyl ring. In contrast, no significant substituent dependence on Y was observed for the chain<==>cis (A<==>C) equilibrium. There was an analogous dependence for the epimerization (C<==>B) constants of 1-(Y-phenyl)-3-alkyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-naphth[1,2-e][1,3]oxazines. With these model compounds, significant overlapping energies of the nitrogen lone pair was observed by NBO analysis in the trans forms B (to sigma*(C1-C1'), sigma*(C1-C10b), and sigma*(C3-O4)) and in the cis forms C (to sigma*(C1-H), sigma*(C1-C10b), and sigma*(C3-O4)). The effects of disubstitution revealed some characteristic differences between the cis and trans isomers. However, the results do not suggest that the anomeric effect predominates in the preponderance of the trans over the cis isomer. When the (13)C chemical shift changes induced by substituents X and Y (SCS) were subjected to multiple linear regression analysis, negative rho(F)(Y) and rho(F)(X) values were observed at C-1 and C-3 for both the cis and trans isomers. In contrast, the positive rho(R)(Y) values at C-1 and the negative rho(R)(X) values at C-3 observed indicated the contribution of resonance structures f (rho(R) > 0) and g (rho(R) < 0), respectively. The classical double bond-no-bond resonance structures proved useful in explaining the substituent sensitivities of the donation energies and the behavior of the SCS values.  相似文献

Conformational analyses of the P(3)‐axially and P(3)‐equatorially F‐substituted (±)‐cis‐ and (±)‐trans‐2,4‐dioxa‐7‐aza‐3‐phosphadecalin 3‐oxides (3‐fluoro‐2,4‐dioxa‐7‐aza‐3‐phosphabicyclo[4.4.0]decane 3‐oxides) were performed. The results are based on independent studies in both solution and the solid state by 1H‐ and 31P‐NMR experiments and computational and X‐ray crystallographic data. As expected, the axial epimers adopt neat double‐chair conformations in solution and in the crystal. Due to the anomeric effect of the electron withdrawing F‐substituent, the 2,4‐dioxa‐3‐phospha moiety in the equatorial epimers adopts a mixture of conformations in solution, mainly chair and twist‐boat; whereas a neat twist‐boat (trans‐isomer) and the unusual envelope conformation (cis‐isomer) were detected in the solid state. This is the first report of a straight visualization of these conformations and the impact of the anomeric effect in such systems.  相似文献

Rate constants for acid-catalyzed dehydration of cis-2-substituted 1,2-dihydro-naphthols are well correlated by the Taft relationship log k = -0.49 - 8.8σ(I), with minor negative deviations for OH and OMe. By contrast the trans substituents show a poor correlation with σ(I) and in most cases react more slowly than their cis isomers. The behavior is consistent with rate-determining formation of a 2-substituted carbocation (naphthalenium ion) intermediate that for cis reactants possesses a 2-C-H bond suitably oriented for hyperconjugation with the charge center. For the trans isomers the 2-substituent itself is oriented for hyperconjugation in the initially formed conformation of the cation. It is argued that k(cis)/k(trans) rate ratios for substituents (Me, 8.4; Bu(t), 12.7; Ph, 3.8; NH(3)(+), 160; OH, 440) reflect their hyperconjugating ability relative to hydrogen. Faster reactions of trans isomers are observed for substitutents known (RS, N(3)) or suspected (EtSO, EtSO(2)) of stabilizing the cation by a π or σ neighboring group effect. The good Taft correlation is taken to indicate that cis substuents are reacting normally, differentiated only by their inductive effects. The slower reactions of the trans isomers are the judged to be "abnormal". This is confirmed by comparing effects of cis and trans β-OH substituents on the reactivities of dihydro phenols, naphthols, and phenanthrols. Whereas k(H)/k(OH) for cis substituents varies by less than 8-fold and is consistent with the influence of an inductive effect of the OH group (k(H)/k(OH) ≈ 2000), k(H)/k(OH) for the trans substituents varies by 3 orders of magnitude, reflecting the additional influence of the lesser hyperconjugating ability of a C-OH bond compared to a C-H bond. The magnitude and variation of this difference is consistent with C-H hyperconjugation conferring aromatic character on the arenium ions.  相似文献

Collision-induced dissociation of ammonium-cationized alpha and beta acetyl pyranosidic isomers were studied and stereochemical dependence of the reactivity towards elimination of acetic acid from the anomeric position was found. It is shown that isomers that contain trans diacetyloxy groups at positions 1 and 2 of the pyranoside are more reactive, allowing anomeric distinction according to the relative abundance of the oxocarbenium product ion of this reaction in the spectrum. The higher reactivity of trans isomers is rationalized by neighboring group assistance that is possible only in the trans configuration. DFT calculations indicate that the lesser energetic reaction path occurs in an ammonium-cationized trans diequatorial 2,3-diacetoxy tetrahydropyran that was used as a model in order to study this process theoretically. It is also found that the configuration at position 4 of the carbohydrate plays a major role in the rate of formation and stability of oxocarbenium ions.  相似文献

Magnetic bistability in spin-crossover materials generally is a collective phenomenon that arises from the cooperative interaction of a large number of microscopic magnetic moments within the crystal lattice in the solid state. We now report on individual molecules in homogeneous solution that are switched between the diamagnetic and paramagnetic states at room temperature by light-driven coordination-induced spin-state switching (LD-CISSS). Switching of the coordination number (and concurrently of the spin state) was achieved by using Ni-porphyrin as a square-planar platform and azopyridines as photodissociable axial ligands. The square-planar Ni-porphyrin is diamagnetic (low-spin, S = 0), and all complexes with axial ligands are paramagnetic (high-spin, S = 1). Association constants were determined for all conceivable 1:1 and 1:2 porphyrin/azopyridine complexes. The binding constants of the trans azopyridines are larger than those of the corresponding cis isomers. Thus, upon irradiation with UV light (365 nm, trans → cis) and visible light (455 nm, cis → trans), switching of the magnetic properties was achieved. Upon substitution of the azopyridines at the 4- and 4'-positions with larger substituents, the difference in trans and cis association constants, and thus the switching efficiency, was increased. A photoinduced, reversible switching between 20 and 68% paramagnetic Ni species in solution was achieved with isopropyl substituents at room temperature.  相似文献

Shuttlecock- and bowl-equipped 4-(phenylazo)pyridine derivatives, which bear substituents that allow the pyridine moiety to protrude in the trans form but hinder it in the cis form, have been designed and synthesized. These molecules show cis/trans photoisomerization despite the presence of bulky substituents. 1H NMR titration with Zn-porphyrin showed that the trans isomers coordinate to Zn-porphyrin much stronger than the cis isomers.  相似文献

3-Furaldehyde (3FA) was isolated in an argon matrix at 12 K and studied using FTIR spectroscopy and quantum chemistry. The molecule has two conformers, with trans and cis orientation of the O=C-C=C dihedral angle. At the B3LYP/6-311++G(d,p) level of theory, the trans form was computed to be ca. 4 kJ mol(-1) more stable than the cis form. The relative stability of the two conformers was explained using the natural bond orbital (NBO) method. In fair agreement with their calculated relative energies and the high barrier of rotamerization (ca. 34 kJ mol(-1) from trans to cis), the trans and cis conformers were trapped in an argon matrix from the compound room temperature gas phase in proportion ~7:1. The experimentally observed vibrational signatures of the two forms are in a good agreement with the theoretically calculated spectra. Broad-band UV-irradiation (λ > 234 nm) of the matrix-isolated compound resulted in partial trans → cis isomerization, which ended at a photostationary state with the trans/cis ratio being ca. 1.85:1. This result was interpreted based on results of time-dependent DFT calculations. Irradiation at higher energies (λ > 200 nm) led to decarbonylation of the compound, yielding furan, cyclopropene-3-carbaldehyde, and two C(3)H(4) isomers: cyclopropene and propadiene.  相似文献

采用密度泛函理论(DFT)方法研究了系列含绿色荧光蛋白发色团双自由基分子光学异构体的几何结构、极化率(αs)和第一超极化率(βtot).结果表明,引入电子给受体取代基使分子的极化率增大,而对第一超极化率有不同影响.对于光照前的反式结构,引入电子受体βtot值增加,且βtot值随取代基吸电子能力的增强而增大;引入电子给体βtot值降低,且βtot值随取代基给电子能力的增强而减小.当分子变成相应的顺式结构时,其βtot值变化趋势与反式结构的结果正好相反.光异构化前后分子的βtot值变化不同,引入电子受体使顺式结构的βtot值比反式结构的小,其中―NO2使顺式结构的βtot值减小为反式结构的1/6;引入电子给体使反式结构的βtot值比顺式结构的小,其中―NH2使反式结构的βtot值减小为顺式结构的1/6.从而,光异构化起到调节非线性光学(NLO)响应的作用.  相似文献

Nucleophilic substitution reactions of N(3)P(3)Cl(4)[NH(CH(2))(3)NMe] (1) and N(3)P(3)Cl(4)[NH(CH(2))(3)O] (2) with mono-functional alcohols (methanol, 2,2,2-trifluoroethanol, phenol) and a secondary amine (pyrrolidine) were used to investigate the relationship between the incoming nucleophile and the proportions of products with substituents that are cis or trans to the spiro NH moiety. The reaction products were characterized by elemental analysis, mass spectrometry, (1)H and (31)P NMR spectroscopy and the configurational isomers by X-ray crystallography. Six products have been characterised with the substituent cis to the spiro NH group for the alcohol (methanol, phenol) and pyrrolidine derivatives of both compounds 1 and 2, compared to just one derivative with the substituent trans to the spiro NH group, that for the pyrrolidine derivative of compound 2. For each reaction the relative proportions of cis and trans isomers were determined by (31)P NMR measurements of the reaction mixtures. It was found that the reactions of compound 1 with all three alcohols and of compound 2 with methanol lead to exclusive formation of isomers with the substituent cis to the NH moiety, whereas all other reactions lead to mixtures of cis and trans isomers in different ratios under standard reaction conditions. However, when crown ether is included in the reaction medium for the reactions of compound 2 with both 2,2,2-trifluoroethanol and phenol, it is found that only cis isomers are formed. All these results are rationalised in terms of the competition between at least two effects; the cis-directing effect by hydrogen bonding of the incoming nucleophile to the spiro N-H group already present on the cyclophophazene ring and the cis-directing effect of the sodium cation coordinating to the oxygen lone pairs of the P-O moiety of the spiro ring.  相似文献

The kinetics of Z-(cis)/E-(trans) isomerization of enalapril was investigated by reversed phase high-performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC) using a monolith ODS column under a series of different temperature and pH conditions. At a neutral pH 7, the rate (k(obs)) of Z-(cis)/E-(trans) isomerization of enalapril at 4 degrees C (9.4 x 10(-3)min(-1)) is much lower than at 23 degrees C (1.8 x 10(-1)min(-1)), while the fractional concentration of Z-(cis) isomer is always higher than that of E-(trans) isomer in the pH range 2-7. The fractional concentration of the E-(trans) isomer becomes a maximum (about 40%) in the pH range 3-6, where enalapril exists as a zwitterion. The hydrophobicity (logP(O/W)) of both isomers was estimated by high-speed counter-current chromatography (HSCCC). Normal phase HSCCC separation using a tert-butyl methyl ether-acetonitrile-20mM potassium phosphate buffer (pH 5) two-phase solvent system (2:2:3, v/v/v) at 4 degrees C was effective in partially separating the isomers, and the partition coefficient (K) of each isomer was directly calculated from the retention volume (V(R)). The logP(O/W) values of Z-(cis) and E-(trans) isomers were -0.46 and -0.65, respectively.  相似文献

A general, stereoselective synthesis of 4,5-disubstituted imidazolidines-2-ones from alpha-aminoacids has been developed: the key steps are a Blaise reaction of bromoacetate on alpha-aminonitriles and further reduction. Although reduction with sodium cyanoborohydride afforded a mixture of cis and trans isomers 6a-e with moderate to good stereoselectivity, reduction with sodium in liquid ammonia gave the trans isomers 8a-e with complete stereoselectivity. Acidic hydrolysis of the urea gave 4-amino-pyrrolidinones, which can be precursors to beta,gamma-diaminoacids or 3-aminopyrrolidines.  相似文献
