For all regimes the agreement between experimental distributions and random-matrix theory predictions is very good, provided both the antenna coupling T(a) and the wall absorption strength T(w) are taken into account in an appropriate way. 为了能够快速有效地求解电大复杂腔体(微波混沌腔)的电磁耦合问题, 文中采用统计电磁学方法研究了该类腔体电磁散射的统计特征. 首先, 根据天线辐射理论, 利用电磁场的本征模展开式建立了腔体耦合输入阻抗表达式. 其次, 利用波动混沌理论和概率统计方法进一步推导出了微波混沌腔的随机耦合模型. 该方法简单并且可以直接推导出三维模型. 最后, 构建了一个三维Sinai微波混沌腔并进行数值仿真实验, 其仿真实验结果与随机耦合模型计算结果的统计特征基本一致. 重要的是, 该模型与复杂腔体的细节特征无关, 能够快速有效地预测微波混沌腔的敏感耦合问题. 关键词: 统计电磁学 微波混沌腔 输入阻抗 随机耦合模型  相似文献

We construct a trajectory-based semiclassical theory of shot noise in clean chaotic cavities. In the universal regime of vanishing Ehrenfest time tau(E), we reproduce the random matrix theory result and show that the Fano factor is exponentially suppressed as tau(E) increases. We demonstrate how our theory preserves the unitarity of the scattering matrix even in the regime of finite tau(E). We discuss the range of validity of our semiclassical approach and point out subtleties relevant to the recent semiclassical treatment of shot noise in the universal regime by Braun et al. The problem of quantum transport in chaotic cavities with broken time-reversal symmetry is shown to be completely integrable in the universal limit. This observation is utilized to determine the cumulants and the distribution function of conductance for a cavity with ideal leads supporting an arbitrary number n of propagating modes. Expressed in terms of solutions to the fifth Painlevé transcendent and/or the Toda lattice equation, the conductance distribution is further analyzed in the large-n limit that reveals long exponential tails in the otherwise Gaussian curve.  相似文献

The absorption of laser light in 0.25–1 mm diameter gold cavities, irradiated for the purpose of generating high-temperature blackbody radiation with intense laser radiation of either =0.44 m or =1.3 m wavelength, was investigated. For =0.44 m radiation the absorption exceeded 0.9 for all conditions, but dropped to only 0.3 for the smallest cavities irradiated at =1.3 m. We consider universal shot noise in ballistic chaotic cavities from a semiclassical point of view and show that it is due to action correlations within certain groups of classical trajectories. Using quantum graphs as a model system, we sum these trajectories analytically and find agreement with random-matrix theory. We have experimentally studied shot noise of chaotic cavities defined by two quantum point contacts in series. The cavity noise is determined as (1/4)2e/I/ in agreement with theory and can be well distinguished from other contributions to noise generated at the contacts. Subsequently, we have found that cavity noise decreases if one of the contacts is further opened and reaches nearly zero for a highly asymmetric cavity. Heating inside the cavity due to electron-electron interaction can slightly enhance the noise of large cavities and is also discussed quantitatively.  相似文献

Time scale synchronization in networks of chaotic microwave oscillators with the different topologies of the links between nodes has been studied. As a node element of the network the one-dimensional distributed model of the low-voltage vircator has been used. To characterize the degree of synchronization in the whole network the synchronization index has been introduced. The transition to the synchronous regime is shown to take place via cluster time scale synchronization. Conductance and shot noise of an open cavity with diffusive boundary scattering are calculated within the Boltzmann-Langevin approach. In particular, conductance contains a nonuniversal geometric contribution, originating from the presence of open contacts. 以计算机机箱为研究目标,开展了电磁波耦合入计算机机箱腔体的散射问题研究.通过对其散射矩阵元的讨论和分析发现:可以通过辐射散射测量得到系统散射矩阵的系综平均;随着腔体损耗的增加,腔体散射系数的波动性减小;随着腔体损耗的进一步增加,插入相移分布逐渐趋于均一分布.通过Dyson圆系综讨论了归一化散射矩阵,计算机机箱腔体中存在波混沌散射.根据随机矩阵理论,微波混沌腔体的归一化阻抗矩阵具有统计通用性,且只与系统的损耗有关.  相似文献

Self-interstitial interactions causing volume expansion in bcc Fe are studied through an idealized microstructure evolution model in which only self-interstial atoms (SIAs) are inserted. Using a combination of non-equilibrium molecular dynamics simulations and a metadynamics algorithm, meta-stable SIA clusters are observed to nucleate and grow into dislocation loops or localized amorphous phases, both contributing to swelling behavior persisting well beyond the atomistic time scale. A non-monotonic local density variation with dose rate is found and attributed to competing evolutions of different defective structures.  相似文献

We present a maximum-entropy model for the transport of waves through a classically chaotic cavity in the presence of absorption. The entropy of the S-matrix statistical distribution is maximized, with the constraint 〈TrSS 〉 = αn: n is the dimensionality of S, and 0 ≤ α ≤ 1. For α = 1 the S-matrix distribution concentrates on the unitarity sphere and we have no absorption; for α = 0 the distribution becomes a delta function at the origin and we have complete absorption. For strong absorption our result agrees with a number of analytical calculations already given in the literature. In that limit, the distribution of the individual (angular) transmission and reflection coefficients becomes exponential — Rayleigh statistics — even for n = 1. For n ≫ 1 Rayleigh statistics is attained even with no absorption; here we extend the study to α<1. The model is compared with random-matrixtheory numerical simulations: it describes the problem very well for strong absorption, but fails for moderate and weak absorptions. The success of the model for strong absorption is understood in the light of a central-limit theorem. For weak absorption, some important physical constraint is missing in the construction of the model.  相似文献
