The modular Witt algebra W(p, n) and H(p, 2n) are defined on the polynomial rings Zp[x1,...,xn] and Zp[X1,...,xn, y1,...,yn] respectively. We generalize Zp[x1,...,xn] and Zp[x1,...,xn, y1,...,yn], so we get the generalized W-type and H-type modular Lie algebras. We study properties of n-tuple algebras of associative type. We show that the nilpotency of an n-tuple algebra of associative type is determined by the nilpotency of each element. In addition, we characterize the nilpotency of an n-tuple algebra of associative type in terms of the trace function. In the final part of the paper, we show that a homogeneously semisimple n-tuple algebra of associative type is the direct sum of two-sided ideals each of which is a homogeneously simple n-tuple algebra of associative type. 相似文献

We find a new representation of the simple Lie algebra of type E 6 on the polynomial algebra in 16 variables, which gives a fractional representation of the corresponding Lie group on 16-dimensional space. Using this representation and Shen’s idea of mixed product, we construct a new functor from D 5-Mod to E 6-Mod. A condition for the functor to map a finite-dimensional irreducible D 5-module to an infinite-dimensional irreducible E 6-module is obtained. Our results yield explicit constructions of certain infinite-dimensional irreducible weight E6-modules with finite-dimensional weight subspaces. In our approach, the idea of Kostant’s characteristic identities plays a key role. 相似文献

The paper focuses on the 1-generated positively graded algebras with non-pure resolutions and mainly discusses a new kind of algebras called(s,t,d)-bi-Koszul algebras as the generalization of bi-Koszul algebras. An(s,t,d)-bi-Koszul algebra can be obtained from two periodic algebras with pure resolutions. The generation of the Koszul dual of an(s,t,d)-bi-Koszul algebra is discussed. We show that if a finite simple group G, isomorphic to PSLn(q) or PSUn(q) where either n ≠ 4 or q is prime or even, acts on a vector space over a field of the defining characteristic of G; then the corresponding semidirect product contains an element whose order is distinct from every element order of G. We infer that the group PSLn(q), n ≠ 4 or q prime or even, is recognizable by spectrum from its covers thus giving a partial positive answer to Problem 14.60 from the Kourovka Notebook. 相似文献

A purely combinatorial construction of the quantum cohomology ring of the generalized flag manifold is presented. We show that the ring we construct is commutative, associative and satisfies the usual grading condition. By using results of our previous papers [12, 13], we obtain a presentation of this ring in terms of generators and relations, and formulas for quantum Giambelli polynomials. We show that these polynomials satisfy a certain orthogonality property, which—for G = SLn(

The notion of n-transitivity can be carried over from groups of diffeomorphisms on a manifold M to groups of bisections of a Lie groupoid over M. The main theorem states that the n-transitivity is fulfilled for all n ∈ N by an arbitrary group of Cr-bisections of a Lie groupoid Γ of class Cr, where 1 ≤ r ≤ ω, under mild conditions. For instance, the group of all bisections of any Lie groupoid and the group of all Lagrangian bisections of any symplectic groupoid are n-transitive in the sense of this theorem. In particular, if Γ is source connected for any arrow γ ∈ Γ, there is a bisection passing through γ. 相似文献

In this paper we consider n-poised planar node sets, as well as more special ones, called G C n sets. For the latter sets each n-fundamental polynomial is a product of n linear factors as it always holds in the univariate case. A line ? is called k-node line for a node set \(\mathcal X\) if it passes through exactly k nodes. An (n + 1)-node line is called maximal line. In 1982 M. Gasca and J. I. Maeztu conjectured that every G C n set possesses necessarily a maximal line. Till now the conjecture is confirmed to be true for n ≤ 5. It is well-known that any maximal line M of \(\mathcal X\) is used by each node in \(\mathcal X\setminus M, \)meaning that it is a factor of the fundamental polynomial. In this paper we prove, in particular, that if the Gasca-Maeztu conjecture is true then any n-node line of G C n set \(\mathcal {X}\) is used either by exactly \(\binom {n}{2}\) nodes or by exactly \(\binom {n-1}{2}\) nodes. We prove also similar statements concerning n-node or (n ? 1)-node lines in more general n-poised sets. This is a new phenomenon in n-poised and G C n sets. At the end we present a conjecture concerning any k-node line. 相似文献

A Coxeter system (W, S) is said to be of type K n if the associated Coxeter graph ΓS is complete on n vertices and has only odd edge labels. If W satisfies either of: (1) n = 3; (2) W is rigid; then the automorphism group of W is generated by the inner automorphisms of W and any automorphisms induced by ΓS. Indeed, Aut(W) is the semidirect product of Inn(W) and the group of diagram automorphisms, and furthermore W is strongly rigid. We also show that if W is a Coxeter group of type K n then W has exactly one conjugacy class of involutions and hence Aut(W) = Spec(W). 相似文献

In this paper, we reformulate the Euler-Lagrange equations of Willmore surfaces in S^n as the flatness of a family of certain loop algebra-valued 1-forms. Therefore we can give the Weierstrass type representation of conformal Willmore surfaces. We also discuss the relations between conformal Willmore surfaces in S^n and minimal surfaces in constant curvature spaces S^n, R^n, H^n, and prove that some special Willmore surfaces can be derived from minimal surfaces in S^n, R^n, H^n. 相似文献
