The rate constants, k1, of the reaction of CF3OC(O)H with OH radicals were measured by using a Fourier transform infrared spectroscopic technique in an 11.5‐dm3 reaction chamber at 242–328 K. OH radicals were produced by UV photolysis of an O3–H2O–He mixture at an initial pressure of 200 Torr. Ozone was continuously introduced into the reaction chamber during UV irradiation. With CF3OCH3 as a reference compound, k1 at 298 K was (1.65 ± 0.13) × 10?14 cm3 molecule?1 s?1. The temperature dependence of k1 was determined as (2.33 ± 0.42) × 10?12 exp[?(1480 ± 60)/T] cm3 molecule?1 s?1; possible systematic uncertainty could add an additional 20% to the k1 values. The atmospheric lifetime of CF3OC(O)H with respect to reaction with OH radicals was calculated to be 3.6 years. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Int J Chem Kinet 36: 337–344 2004  相似文献

Rate constants for the reactions of OH and NO3 radicals with CH2?CHF (k1 and k4), CH2?CF2 (k2 and k5), and CHF?CF2 (k3 and k6) were determined by means of a relative rate method. The rate constants for OH radical reactions at 253–328 K were k1 = (1.20 ± 0.37) × 10?12 exp[(410 ± 90)/T], k2 = (1.51 ± 0.37) × 10?12 exp[(190 ± 70)/T], and k3 = (2.53 ± 0.60) × 10?12 exp[(340 ± 70)/T] cm3 molecule?1 s?1. The rate constants for NO3 radical reactions at 298 K were k4 = (1.78 ± 0.12) × 10?16 (CH2?CHF), k5 = (1.23 ± 0.02) × 10?16 (CH2?CF2), and k6 = (1.86 ± 0.09) × 10?16 (CHF?CF2) cm3 molecule?1 s?1. The rate constants for O3 reactions with CH2?CHF (k7), CH2?CF2 (k8), and CHF?CF2 (k9) were determined by means of an absolute rate method: k7 = (1.52 ± 0.22) × 10?15 exp[?(2280 ± 40)/T], k8 = (4.91 ± 2.30) × 10?16 exp[?(3360 ± 130)/T], and k9 = (5.70 ± 4.04) × 10?16 exp[?(2580 ± 200)/T] cm3 molecule?1 s?1 at 236–308 K. The errors reported are ±2 standard deviations and represent precision only. The tropospheric lifetimes of CH2?CHF, CH2?CF2, and CHF?CF2 with respect to reaction with OH radicals, NO3 radicals, and O3 were calculated to be 2.3, 4.4, and 1.6 days, respectively. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Rate constants were determined for the reactions of OH radicals with halogenated cyclobutanes cyclo‐CF2CF2CHFCH2? (k1), trans‐cyclo‐CF2CF2CHClCHF? (k2), cyclo‐CF2CFClCH2CH2? (k3), trans‐cyclo‐CF2CFClCHClCH2? (k4), and cis‐cyclo‐CF2CFClCHClCH2? (k5) by using a relative rate method. OH radicals were prepared by photolysis of ozone at a UV wavelength (254 nm) in 200 Torr of a sample reference H2O? O3? O2? He gas mixture in an 11.5‐dm3 temperature‐controlled reaction chamber. Rate constants of k1 = (5.52 ± 1.32) × 10?13 exp[–(1050 ± 70)/T], k2 = (3.37 ± 0.88) × 10?13 exp[–(850 ± 80)/T], k3 = (9.54 ± 4.34) × 10?13 exp[–(1000 ± 140)/T], k4 = (5.47 ± 0.90) × 10?13 exp[–(720 ± 50)/T], and k5 = (5.21 ± 0.88) × 10?13 exp[–(630 ± 50)/T] cm3 molecule?1 s?1 were obtained at 253–328 K. The errors reported are ± 2 standard deviations, and represent precision only. Potential systematic errors associated with uncertainties in the reference rate constants could add an additional 10%–15% uncertainty to the uncertainty of k1k5. The reactivity trends of these OH radical reactions were analyzed by using a collision theory–based kinetic equation. The rate constants k1k5 as well as those of related halogenated cyclobutane analogues were found to be strongly correlated with their C? H bond dissociation enthalpies. We consider the dominant tropospheric loss process for the halogenated cyclobutanes studied here to be by reaction with the OH radicals, and atmospheric lifetimes of 3.2, 2.5, 1.5, 0.9, and 0.7 years are calculated for cyclo‐CF2CF2CHFCH2? , trans‐cyclo‐CF2CF2CHClCHF? , cyclo‐CF2CFClCH2CH2? , trans‐cyclo‐CF2CFClCHClCH2? , and cis‐cyclo‐CF2CFClCHClCH2? , respectively, by scaling from the lifetime of CH3CCl3. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Products of the gas-phase reactions of OH radicals with O,O-diethyl methylphosphonothioate [(C2H5O)2P(S)CH3, DEMPT] and O,O,O-triethyl phosphorothioate [(C2H5O)3PS, TEPT] have been investigated at room temperature and atmospheric pressure of air using in situ atmospheric pressure ionization mass spectrometry (API-MS) and, for the TEPT reaction, gas chromatography and in situ Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy. Combined with products quantified previously by gas chromatography, the products observed were: from the DEMPT reaction, (C2H5O)2P(O)CH3 (21+/-4% yield) and C2H5OP(S)(CH3)OH or C2H5OP(O)(CH3)SH (presumed to be C2H5OP(O)(CH3)SH by analogy with the TEPT reaction); and from the TEPT reaction, (C2H5O)3PO (54-62% yield), SO2 (67+/-10% yield), CH3CHO (22-40% yield) and, tentatively, (C2H5O)2P(O)SH. The FT-IR analyses showed that the formation yields of HCHO, CO, CO2, peroxyacetyl nitrate [CH3C(O)OONO2], organic nitrates, and acetates from the TEPT reaction were <5%, 3+/-1%, <7%, <2%, 5+/-3%, and 3+/-2%, respectively. Possible reaction mechanisms are discussed.  相似文献

Rate constants for the gas-phase reactions of the biogenically emitted monoterpene β-phellandrene with OH and NO3 radicals and O3 have been measured at 297 ± 2 K and atmospheric pressure of air using relative rate methods. The rate constants obtained were (in cm3 molecule?1 s?1 units): for reaction with the OH radical, (1.68 ± 0.41) × 10?10; for reaction with the NO3 radical, (7.96 ± 2.82) × 10?12; and for reaction with O3, (4.77 ± 1.23) × 10?17, where the error limits include the estimated uncertainties in the reference reaction rate constants. Using these rate constants, the lifetime of β-phellandrene in the lower troposphere due to reaction with these species is calculated to be in the range of ca. 1–8 h, with the OH radical reaction being expected to dominate over the O3 reaction as a loss process for β-phellandrene during daylight hours.  相似文献

The hydrogen abstraction reactions of C2F5CHO with OH radicals and Cl atoms have been investigated theoretically by a dual-level direct dynamics method. In this study, the optimized geometries and frequencies of the stationary points are calculated at the MP2/cc-pVDZ level of theory. The energies of the stationery points and the selected points along the minimum energy paths are further refined at the MC-QCISD level using the MP2 geometries. Complexes with energies less than those of the reactants or products are located at the entrance or the exit channels of the two reactions. This result indicates that both of reactions proceed via indirect reaction mechanisms. The enthalpies of formation for the reactant C2F5CHO and the product radical C2F5CO are estimated by isodesmic reactions at the MC-QCISD//MP2/cc-pVDZ level. At the same level, the rate constants are calculated by canonical variational transition state theory (CVT) incorporating with the small-curvature tunneling correction (SCT) in the temperature range 200–1000 K. Good agreement between the calculated and experimental rate constants is obtained at the room temperature. Due to the lack of the kinetic data of these reactions, the fitted three-parameter expressions based on the CVT/SCT rate constants within 200–1000 K are k1 = 1.64 × 10−24 T4.33 exp (−566.1/T) and k2 = 6.33 × 10−15 T1.35 exp (550.3/T) cm3 molecule−1 s−1, respectively.  相似文献

Relative rate constants for the gas-phase reactions of OH radicals with a series of alkyl nitrates have been determined at 299 ± 2 K, using methyl nitrite photolysis in air as a source of OH radicals. Using a rate constant for the reaction of OH radicals with cyclohexane of 7.57 × 10?12 cm3/molec·s, the rate constants obtained are (× 1012 cm3/molec·s): 2-propyl nitrate, 0.18 ± 0.05; 1-butyl nitrate, 1.42 ± 0.11; 2-butyl nitrate, 0.69 ± 0.10; 2-pentyl nitrate, 1.87 ± 0.12; 3-pentyl nitrate, 1.13 ± 0.20; 2-hexyl nitrate, 3.19 ± 0.16; 3-hexyl nitrate, 2.72 ± 0.22; 3-heptyl nitrate, 3.72 ± 0.43; and 3-octyl nitrate, 3.91 ± 0.80. These rate constants, which are the first reported for the alkyl nitrates, are significantly lower than those for the parent alkanes, and a formula, based on the numbers of the various types of C? H bonds in the alkyl nitrates, is derived for rate constant estimation purposes.  相似文献

The kinetics of the gas-phase reactions of the OH radical with (C2H5O)3PO and (CH3O)2P(S)Cl and of the reactions of NO3 radicals and O3 with (CH3O)2P(S)Cl have been studied at room temperature. Using a relative rate technique, the rate constants determined for the reactions of the OH radical with (C2H5O)3PO and (CH3O)2P(S)Cl at 296 ± 2 K and 740 torr total pressure of air were (5.53 ± 0.35) × 10?11 and (5.96 ± 0.38) × 10?11 cm3 molecule?1 s?1, respectively. Upper limits to the rate constants for the NO3 radical and O3 reactions with (CH3O)2P(S)Cl of <3 × 10?14 cm3 molecule?1 s?1 and <2 × 10?19 cm3 molecule?1 s?1, respectively, were obtained. These data are compared and discussed with previous literature data for organophosphorus compounds.  相似文献

Using relative rate methods, rate constants for the gas-phase reactions of divinyl sulfoxide [CH 2CHS(O)CHCH 2; DVSO] with NO 3 radicals and O 3 have been measured at 296 +/- 2 K, and rate constants for the reaction with OH radicals have been measured over the temperature range of 277-349 K. Rate constants obtained for the NO 3 radical and O 3 reactions at 296 +/- 2 K were (6.1 +/- 1.4) x 10 (-16) and (4.3 +/- 1.0) x 10 (-19) cm (3) molecule (-1) s (-1), respectively. For the OH radical reaction, the temperature-dependent rate expression obtained was k = 4.17 x 10 (-12)e ((858 +/- 141)/ T ) cm (3) molecule (-1) s (-1) with a 298 K rate constant of (7.43 +/- 0.71) x 10 (-11) cm (3) molecule (-1) s (-1), where, in all cases, the errors are two standard deviations and do not include the uncertainties in the rate constants for the reference compounds. Divinyl sulfone was observed as a minor product of both the OH radical and NO 3 radical reactions at 296 +/- 2 K. Using in situ Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, CO, CO 2, SO 2, HCHO, and divinyl sulfone were observed as products of the OH radical reaction, with molar formation yields of 35 +/- 11, 2.2 +/- 0.8, 33 +/- 4, 54 +/- 6, and 5.4 +/- 0.8%, respectively, in air. For the experimental conditions employed, aerosol formation from the OH radical-initiated reaction of DVSO in the presence of NO was minor, being approximately 1.5%. The data obtained here for DVSO are compared with literature data for the corresponding reactions of dimethyl sulfoxide.  相似文献

A new method for the preparation of bis(perfluoroorgano) zinc compounds is described: CF3I and C6F5I react with dialkylzinc in the presence of a Lewis base quantitatively to give (CF3)2Zn and (C6F5)2Zn complexes, while the analogous reactions with C2F5I and iC3F7I do not yield the pure compounds. 1H, 19F n.m.r, i.r. and Raman spectra are presented.  相似文献

Ampoule reactions of C70 with n- and i-C3F7I were carried out at 250-310 °C. Two step HPLC separations allowed the isolation of several C70(n-C3F7)4-8 and C70(i-C3F7)4 compounds. Crystal and molecular structures of C70(n-C3F7)8-V, C70(n-C3F7)6O, C70(n-C3F7)4, and three isomers of C70(i-C3F7)4 have been determined by X-ray crystallography using synchrotron radiation. Molecular structures of the new compounds were compared with the known examples and discussed in terms of addition patterns and relative energies of their formation.  相似文献

Rate constants for the reactions of OH radicals and NO3 radicals with O,O-diethyl methylphosphonothioate [(C(2)H(5)O)(2)P(S)CH(3); DEMPT] and O,O,O-triethyl phosphorothioate [(C(2)H(5)O)(3)PS; TEPT] have been measured using relative rate methods at atmospheric pressure of air over the temperature range 296-348 K for the OH radical reactions and at 296 +/- 2 K for the NO(3) radical reactions. At 296 +/- 2 K, the rate constants obtained for the OH radical reactions (in units of 10(-11) cm(3) molecule(-1) s(-1)) were 20.4 +/- 0.8 and 7.92 +/- 0.27 for DEMPT and TEPT, respectively, and those for the NO(3) radical reactions (in units of 10(-15) cm(3) molecule(-1) s(-1)) were 2.01 +/- 0.20 and 1.03 +/- 0.10, respectively. Upper limits to the rate constants for the reactions of O(3) with DEMPT and TEPT of <6 x 10(-20) cm(3) molecule(-1) s(-1) were determined in each case. Rate constants for the OH radical reactions, measured relative to k(OH + alpha-pinene) = 1.21 x 10(-11) e(436/T) cm(3) molecule(-1) s(-1), resulted in the Arrhenius expressions k(OH + DEMPT) = 1.08 x 10(-11) e(871+/-25)/T cm(3) molecule(-1) s(-1) and k(OH + TEPT) = 8.21 x 10(-13) e(1353+/-49)/T cm(3) molecule(-1) s(-1) over the temperature range 296-348 K, where the indicated errors are two least-squares standard deviations and do not include the uncertainties in the reference rate constant. Diethyl methylphosphonate was identified and quantified from the OH radical and NO(3) radical reactions with DEMPT, with formation yields of 21 +/- 4%, independent of temperature, from the OH radical reaction and 62 +/- 11% from the NO(3) radical reaction at 296 +/- 2 K. Similarly, triethyl phosphate was identified and quantified from the OH radical and NO(3) radical reactions with TEPT, with formation yields of 56 +/- 9%, independent of temperature, from the OH radical reaction and 78 +/- 15% from the NO(3) radical reaction at 296 +/- 2 K.  相似文献

Zwitterionic titanoxanes {Cp[η5-C5H4B(C6F5)3]Ti}2O (I) and {(η5-iPrC5H4)[η5-1,3-iPrC5H3B(C6F5)3]Ti}2O (II), which contain two positively charged Ti(IV) centres in the molecule, are able to catalyse the ring-opening polymerization of -caprolactone (-CL) in toluene solution and in bulk. The process proceeds with a noticeable rate even at room temperature and accelerates strongly on raising the temperature to 60 °C. The best results have been obtained on carrying out the reaction in bulk. Under these conditions, the use of I as a catalyst (-CL:I = 1000:1) gives at 60 °C close to quantitative yield of poly--CL with the molecular mass of 197 000. An increase in the -CL:I ratio to 6000:1 increases the molecular mass of poly--CL to 530 000. Tetrahydrofuran (THF) is also polymerized under the action of I albeit with a lesser rate. However, the molecular mass of the resulting poly-THF can reach rather big values under optimal conditions (up to 217 000 at 20 °C and the THF:I ratio of 770:1). A rise in the reaction temperature from 20 to 60 °C results here to a decrease in the efficiency of the process. Titanoxane II is close to I in its catalytic activity in the -CL polymerization but it is much less active in the polymerization of THF. Propylene oxide (PO), in contrast to -CL and THF, gives with I only liquid oligomers in wide temperature and PO:I molar ratio ranges (−30 to +20 °C, PO:I = 500–2000:1). γ-Butyrolactone and 1-methyl-2-pyrrolidone are not polymerized under the action of I at room temperature. The reactions found are the first examples of catalysis of the cationic ring-opening polymerization by zwitterionic metallocenes of the group IVB metals.  相似文献

The title reactions were studied using laser flash photolysis/laser-induced-fluorescence (FP-LIF) techniques. The two spin-orbit states, Cl*(2P(1/2)) and Cl(2P(3/2)), were detected using LIF at 135.2 and 134.7 nm, respectively. Measured reaction rate constants were as follows (units of cm3 molecule(-1) s(-1)): k(Cl(2P(3/2))+CH3OH) = (5.35 +/- 0.24) x 10(-11), k(Cl(2P(3/2))+C2H5OH) = (9.50 +/- 0.85) x 10(-11), k(Cl(2P(3/2))+n-C3H7OH) = (1.71 +/- 0.11) x 10(-10), and k(Cl(2P(3/2))+i-C3H7OH) = (9.11 +/- 0.60) x 10(-11). Measured rate constants for total removal of Cl*(2P(1/2)) in collisions with CH3OH, C2H5OH, n-C3H7OH, and i-C3H7OH were (1.95 +/- 0.13) x 10(-10), (2.48 +/- 0.18) x 10(-10), (3.13 +/- 0.18) x 10(-10), and (2.84 +/- 0.16) x 10(-10), respectively; quoted errors are two-standard deviations. Although spin-orbit excited Cl*(2P(1/2)) atoms have 2.52 kcal/mol more energy than Cl(2P(3/2)), the rates of chemical reaction of Cl*(2P(1/2)) with CH3OH, C2H5OH, n-C3H7OH, and i-C3H7OH are only 60-90% of the corresponding Cl(2P(3/2)) atom reactions. Under ambient conditions spin-orbit excited Cl* atoms are responsible for 0.5%, 0.5%, 0.4%, and 0.7% of the observed reactivity of thermalized Cl atoms toward CH3OH, C2H5OH, n-C3H7OH, and i-C3H7OH, respectively.  相似文献

The kinetics and mechanism of oxidation of CF3CHFOCH3 was studied using an 11.5-dm3 environmental reaction chamber. OH radicals were produced by UV photolysis of an O3-H2O-He mixture at an initial pressure of 200 Torr in the chamber. The rate constant of the reaction of CF3CHFOCH3 with OH radicals (k1) was determined to be (1.77 +/- 0.69) x 10(-12) exp[(-720 +/- 110)/T] cm3 molecule(-1)(s-1) by means of a relative rate method at 253-328 K. The mechanism of the reaction was investigated by FT-IR spectroscopy at 298 K. CF3CHFOC(O)H, FC(O)OCH3, and COF2 were determined to be the major products. The branching ratio (k1a/k1b) for the reactions CF3CHFOCH3 + OH --> CF3CHFOCH2* + H2O (k1a) and CF3CHFOCH3 + OH --> CF3CF*OCH3 + H2O (k1b) was estimated to be 4.2:1 at 298 K from the yields of CF3CHFOC(O)H, FC(O)OCH3, and COF2. The rate constants of the reactions of CF3CHFOC(O)H (k2) and FC(O)OCH3 (k3) with OH radicals were determined to be (9.14 +/- 2.78) x 10(-13) exp[(-1190 +/- 90)/T] and (2.10 +/- 0.65) x 10(-13) exp[(-630 +/- 90)/T] cm3 molecule(-1)(s-1), respectively, by means of a relative rate method at 253-328 K. The rate constants at 298 K were as follows: k1 = (1.56 +/- 0.06) x 10-13, k2 = (1.67 +/- 0.05) x 10-14, and k3 = (2.53 +/- 0.07) x 10-14 cm3 molecule(-1)(s-1). The tropospheric lifetimes of CF3CHFOCH3, CF3CHFOC(O)H, and FC(O)OCH3 with respect to reaction with OH radicals were estimated to be 0.29, 3.2, and 1.8 years, respectively.  相似文献

The reactions of the half-sandwich molybdenum(III) complexes CpMo(η4-C4H4R2)(CH3)2, where Cp=η5-C5H5 and R=H or CH3, with equimolar amounts of B(C6F5)3 have been investigated in toluene. EPR monitoring shows the formation of an addition product which does not readily react with Lewis bases such as ethylene, pyridine, or PMe3. The analysis of the EPR properties and the X-ray structure of a decomposition product obtained from dichloromethane, [CpMo(η4-C4H6)(μ-Cl)(μ-CH2)(O)MoCp][CH3B(C6F5)3], indicate that the borane attack has occurred at the methyl position.  相似文献

Relative rate constants for the reaction of OH radicals with a series of α,β-unsaturated carbonyls have been determined at 299 ± 2 K, using methyl nitrite photolysis in air as a source of OH radicals. Using a rate constant for the reaction of OH radicals with propene of 2.52 × 10?11 cm3/molec·s, the rate constants obtained are (× 1011 cm3/molec·s: acrolein, 1.83 ± 0.13; crotonaldehyde, 3.50 ± 0.40; methacrolein, 2.85 ± 0.23; and methylvinylketone, 1.88 ± 0.14). These data, which are necessary input to chemical computer models of the NOx–air photooxidations of conjugated dialkenes, are discussed and compared with literature values.  相似文献

Using relative rate methods, rate constants have been measured for the gas-phase reactions of 3-methylfuran with NO3 radicals and O3 at 296 ± 2 K and atmospheric pressure of air. The rate constants determined were (1.31 ± 0.461) × 10−11 cm3 molecule−1 s−1 for the NO3 radical reaction and (2.05 ± 0.52) × 10−17 cm3 molecule−1 s−1 for the O3 reaction, where the indicated errors include the estimated overall uncertainties in the rate constants for the reference reactions. Based on the cyclohexanone plus cyclohexanol yield in the presence of sufficient cyclohexane to scavenge > 95% of OH radicals formed, it is estimated that the O3 reaction leads to the formation of OH radicals with a yield of 0.59, uncertain to a factor of ca. 1.5. In the troposphere, 3-methylfuran will react dominantly with the OH radical during daylight hours, and with the NO3 radical during nighttime hours for nighttime NO3 radical concentrations > 107 molecule cm −3. © 1996 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

Rate constants for the reactions of O3 and OH radicals with furan and thiophene have been determined at 298 ± 2 K. The rate constants obtained for the O3 reactions were (2.42 ± 0.28) × 10?18 cm3/molec·s for furan and <6 ×10?20 cm3/molec·s for thiophene. The rate constants for the OH radical reactions, relative to a rate constant for the reaction of OH radicals with n-hexane of (5.70 ± 0.09) × 10?12 cm3/molec·s, were determined to be (4.01 ± 0.30) × 10?11 cm3/molec·s for furan and (9.58 ± 0.38) × 10?12 cm3/molec·s for thiophene. There are to date no reported rate constant data for the reactions of OH radicals with furan and thiophene or for the reaction of O3 with furan. The data are compared and discussed with respect to those for other alkenes, dialkenes, and heteroatom containing organics.  相似文献

The electronic structure and spectroscopic properties of [Hg3(o-C6F4)3]n · {benzene} (n = 1, 2) were studied at the HF, MP2 and PBE levels. The interaction between [Hg3(o-C6F4)3] and benzene at the HF and MP2 levels was analyzed. Secondary π-interactions (Hg–benzene) were found to be the main contribution short-range stability in the [Hg3(o-C6F4)3] · {benzene} complex. At the MP2 and PBE levels equilibrium Hg–C distances of 338.4 and 361.4 pm; and interaction energies of 46.6 and 29.2 kJ/mol were found, respectively. The absorption spectra of these complexes were calculated by the single excitation time-dependent method at PBE level.  相似文献
