On the one hand this note complements the results obtained in [2] for rational curves, and, on the other hand, it introduces the study of the normal bundle of a curve of arbitrary genus in IP3 (the projective space over an algebraically closed field of characteristic 0).The most important result concerns rational curve; we give the dimension of the variety parametrizing rational curve of fixed degree and fixed normal bundle, and we show they are quasi-projective, integral and Cohen-Macaulay.This work was carried out while the author held a CNR research fellowship at the Institute of Mathematics, University of Oslo  相似文献

We show the vanishing of the log-term in the Fefferman expansion of the Bergman kernel of the disk bundle over a compact simply-connected homogeneous Kähler–Einstein manifold of classical type. Our results extends that in (Engli? and Zhang, Math Z 264(4):901–912, 2010) for the case of Hermitian symmetric spaces of compact type.  相似文献

Ford≥3g and 1≤s≤[g/2], we study the strataN d, g(s) of degreed genusg spaces curvesC whose normal bundleN C is stable with stability degree (integer of Lange-Narasimhan) σ(N C)=2s. We prove thatN d, g(s) has an irreducible component of the right dimension whose general curve has a normal bundle with the right number of maximal subbundles. We consider also the semi-stable case (s=0), obtaining similar results. We prove our results by studying the normal bundles of reducible curves and their deformations. We investigate space curves with large cohomology. To this end we introduce curves of subextremal type. This class includes all subextremal curves. Based on geometric and numerical characterizations of curves of subextremal type, we show that, if the cohomology is “not too small,” then they can be parameterized by the union of two generically smooth irreducible families; one of them corresponds to the subextremal curves. For curves of negative genus, the general curve of each of these families is also a smooth point of the support of an irreducible component of the Hilbert scheme. The two components have the same (large) dimension and meet in a subscheme of codimension one.  相似文献

F, where S and F are two surfaces and all the singularities of F are rational double points (if any). We prove that C can never pass through rational singularities of types A 2n n∈N, E6 and E8. We consider all complex projective manifolds X that satisfy at least one of the following three conditions:
  1. (1)
    There exists a pair \({(C\,,\varphi)}\) , where C is a compact connected Riemann surface and
    $\varphi\,:\, C\,\longrightarrow\, X$
    a holomorphic map, such that the pull back \({\varphi^* {\it TX}}\) is not semistable.
     
  2. (2)
    The variety X admits an étale covering by an abelian variety.
     
  3. (3)
    The dimension dim X ≤ 1.
     
We prove that the following classes are among those that are of the above type.
  • All X with a finite fundamental group.
  • All X such that there is a nonconstant morphism from \({{\mathbb C}{\mathbb P}^1}\) to X.
  • All X such that the canonical line bundle K X is either positive or negative or \({c_1(K_X)\,\in\,H^2(X,\, {\mathbb Q})}\) vanishes.
  • All X with \({{\rm dim}_{\mathbb C} X\, =\,2}\).

Let U n be an n × n Haar unitary matrix. In this paper, the asymptotic normality and independence of Tr U n , Tr U n 2 ,..., Tr U n k are shown by using elementary methods. More generally, it is shown that the renormalized truncated Haar unitaries converge to a Gaussian random matrix in distribution. We show the stability of certain syzygies of line bundles oncurves, which we call line bundle transforms. Furthermore, weprove the existence of reducible theta divisors for the transformshaving integral slope. In this paper we consider moduli spaces of coherent systems on an elliptic curve. We compute their Hodge polynomials and determine their birational types in some cases. Moreover we prove that certain moduli spaces of coherent systems are isomorphic. This last result uses the Fourier-Mukai transform of coherent systems introduced by Hernández Ruipérez and Tejero Prieto.  相似文献
