Abstract

There is an increasing need for sensitive/selective determination of explosive traces in soil and post-blast debris for environmental and criminal investigations. A colorimetric sensor was developed to detect and quantify trinitrotoluene (TNT) and tetryl by the use of surfactant-stabilized and dithiocarbamate-functionalized gold nanoparticles (AuNPs). The sensor was manufactured by modifying the nanoparticles with the cationic surfactant cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide and incorporating diethyldithiocarbamate (DDTC) in the AuNPs synthesis. DDTC firmly bound to AuNPs may show charge-transfer interactions with the —NO2 groups of the analytes, and a color change proportional to analyte concentration accompanied the agglomeration of nanoparticles, at which the absorbances were recorded at 534?nm and 458?nm for TNT and tetryl, respectively. Although the limit of detection was 8?mgL?1 (3.52?×?10?5?molL?1) for TNT and 0.8?mgL?1 (2.78?×?10?6?molL?1) for tetryl, providing moderate sensitivity, the cost was greatly reduced compared to those of other thiol-functionalized AuNPs sensors. Possible interferences of other energetic substances in synthetic mixtures, of camouflage materials used in passenger belongings (e.g., detergent, sugar, caffeine, and paracetamol) and common soil ions were also examined. The method was statistically validated against a reference gas chromatography/mass spectrometry method. This sensor may pave the way for the manufacture of novel low-cost nitroaromatic explosive sensors made of DDTC-based pesticides.  相似文献

An electrochemical oxidation route was developed for sensitive and selective assay of nitrotriazolone (NTO) explosive in some environmental samples on a multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWCNTs)/TiO2 nanocomposite paste electrode, for prevention of the analytical interference of conventional reducible energetic compounds. Detailed evaluations were made for the electrochemical behaviour of NTO on the modified electrode by adsorptive stripping voltammetry, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and chronoamperometry techniques in the pH range of 2.0–10.0. Parameters such as diffusion coefficient constant of NTO were calculated, and various experimental conditions were also optimised. Under optimal conditions the calibration curve had two linear dynamic ranges of 130.0–3251.5 μg L?1 and 6.5–26.0 mg L?1 with a detection limit of 26.0 μg L?1 (0.2 μmol L?1) and precision of <3%. This electrochemical sensor was further applied to determine NTO in real soil and water samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

A new compound, [DAG(NTO)], was prepared by mixing the NaNTO•H2O aqueous solution and diaminogaunidine hydrochloride aqueous solution. Single crystals suitable for X-ray measurement were obtained by recrystallization from water at room temperature. The crystal belongs to triclinic, space group P-1 with crystal parameters of a=0.6732(3) nm, b=0.6745(3) nm, c=0.9840(4) nm, α=88.309(7)°, β=77.255(6)°, γ=86.520(7)°, V=4.349(3) nm3, Z=2, μ=0.144 mm-1, F(000)=228, and Dc=1.674 g/cm3. The theoretical investigation on DAG(NTO) as a structural unit was carried out by B3LYP, MP2 and HF methods with 6-31+G(d) basis set. The apparent activation energy and pre-exponential constant of the exothermic decomposition reaction of DAG(NTO) are 112.15 kJ•mol-1 and 109.603 s-1, respectively. The critical temperature of thermal explosion is 208.6 ℃.  相似文献

An enhanced oxime-based electrochemical sensor decorated with gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) and Co3O4 hexagonal nanosheets coupled with nitrogen-doped graphene has been developed for dimethoate determination dramatically. The introduction of Co3O4 hexagonal nanosheets tackles agglomeration of AuNPs and also enhances the sensitivity of electrochemical sensors greatly. The structure and properties of the synthesized composites were characterized by scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, Raman spectroscopy and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, confirming the successful modification of 2-(4-mercaptobutoxy)-1-naphthaldehyde oxime and Co3O4 supported AuNPs in a great experiment. In addition, differential pulse voltammetry further revealed that the developed electrochemical sensor exhibited excellent selectivity, sensitivity and stability in real samples analysis. Under optimal conditions, the modified sensor displayed a broad linear range from 1?×?10?14 M to 1?×?10?6 M with a fairly low detection limit of 8.4?×?10?14 M (S/N?=?3) and was expected to act as a superior method for dimethoate determination.  相似文献

We present a method for the separation and determination of transition metals in electrolytes based on ion chromatography (IC) with post-column reaction (PCR) and serial conductivity and spectrophotometric detection. Three IC columns [Metrosep C4—250/4.0 (column A), Metrosep C6—250/4.0 (column B), and Nucleosil 100-5SA—250/4.6 (column C)] with different capacities, and stationary phases were used and compared with each other for method development. All spectrophotometric measurements were carried out with 4-(2-pyridylazo)resorcinol (PAR) as PCR reagent at a wavelength of 500 nm. To characterize the precision of the separation, the selectivity for the analysis of transition metals (nickel, cobalt, copper, and manganese) in the presence of large amounts of lithium and the resolution of the peaks were determined and compared with one another. Furthermore, the limits of detection (LOD) and quantification (LOQ) were determined for the transition metals. The LODs and LOQs determined by column C were as follows: cobalt (LOD/LOQ): 9.4 µg L?1/31.3 µg L?1, manganese (LOD/LOQ): 7.0 µg L?1/23.5 µg L?1, and nickel (LOD/LOQ): 6.3 µg L?1/21.1 µg L?1. Finally, the concentration of transition metal dissolution of the cathode material Li1Ni1/3Co1/3Mn1/3O2 (NCM) was investigated for different charge cut-off voltages by the developed IC method.  相似文献

2,4,6-Tris(2-pyridyl)-1,3,5-triazine (tptz) undergoes hydrolysis in the presence of copper(II) acetate affording bis(2-pyridylcarbonyl)amido-copper(II) and free 2-pyridylcarboxylic anion. Two compounds of formulas [Cu(NC5H4COO)2]·2H2O (1) and [Cu(NC5H4CO)2N(tptz)](N(CN)2)·7H2O (2), where NC5H4COO? and (NC5H4CO)2N? are 2-pyridylcarboxylate and bis(2-pyridylcarbonyl)amido-anion, respectively, were obtained from methanol/ethanol solution of tptz with copper acetate; they were characterized by element analysis and single crystal X-ray diffraction method. Single crystal XRD analysis shows that in complex 1 coordination number around Cu atom is 4 with distorted square-planar coordination geometry and in complex 2 coordination number around Cu atom is 6 with distorted octahedral geometry. Crystal data for 1: a = 5.1359(10) Å, b = 7.6471(15) Å, c = 9.2303(18) Å, α = 74.90(3)°, β = 84.36(3)°, γ = 71.37(3)°, space group P1, crystal system triclinic, Z = 1, V = 331.6(1) Å3, d calc = 1.721 g/cm3. In this work, determination of selenium in various water samples was done by using hydride generation atomic absorption spectrometry. The most appropriate values of HCl concentration, NaBH4 concentration, NaOH concentration, flow rate of argon and flow rate of waste solution were determined. The optimum concentration of the HCl, NaBH4 and NaOH solutions were found to be 7.0 mol L?1, 1.0% and 0.75%, respectively. The optimum flow rate of Ar gas and waste solution were also found to be 100.9 mL min?1 and 4.0 mL min?1, respectively. Values of LOD and LOQ were calculated separately for total Se and Se(IV). LOD and LOQ values were calculated 0.56 μg L?1, 1.87 μg L?1 for total Se and 0.72 μg L?1, 2.40 μg L?1 for Se(IV), respectively. The precision was evaluated by relative standard deviation (RSD%) was found to be 3.5% for total Se and 3.1% for Se(IV) (n = 11). A standard reference material (NIST 1643e) was used in order to check the accuracy of the proposed method. There was a good agreement between certified and found values for standard reference material. The method was applied to the analysis of total Se and Se(IV) concentrations in tap water samples collected from the various regions of Mu?la. Proposed method showed spike recovery ranges from 92% to 116% in water samples.  相似文献

A new ionic compound (3-ATz)+ (NTO)?C was synthesized by the reaction of 3-amino-1,2,4-triazole (3-ATz) with 3-nitro-1,2,4-triazol-5-one (NTO) in ethanol. The single crystals suitable for X-ray diffraction measurement were obtained by crystallization at room temperature. The crystal is monoclinic, space group p 2(1)/c with crystal parameters of a?=?0.6519(2)?nm, b?=?1.9075(7)?nm, c?=?0.6766(2)?nm, ???=?94.236(4)°, R 1?=?0.0305 and wR 2?=?0.0789. The thermal behaviors were studied, and the apparent activation energy and pre-exponential constant of the exothermic decomposition stage were obtained by Kissinger??s method and Ozawa??s method. The self-accelerating decomposition temperature is 505.40?K, and the critical temperature of the thermal explosion is obtained as 524.90?K. The specific heat capacity was determined with Micro-DSC method and the theoretical calculation method, and the standard molar specific heat capacity is 221.31?J?mol?1?K?1 at 298.15?K. The Gibbs free energy of activation, enthalpy of activation, and entropy of activation are 151.55?kJ?mol?1, 214.52?kJ?mol?1 and 122.44?J?mol?1?K?1. The adiabatic time-to-explosion of the compound was estimated to be a certain value between 5.0 and 5.2?s, and the detonation velocity (D) and pressure (P) were also estimated using the nitrogen equivalent equation according to the experimental density.  相似文献

This study introduces modified carbon paste electrodes with carbon nitride nanosheets (CNNS) and outlines their application for the determination of hydroxychloroquine sulfate (HCQ) in tablets and synthetic urine samples. CNNS were synthesized by hydrothermal route (200 °C, 10 h) using melamine and citric acid as their precursors. The carbon nitride nanosheets-based electrode (CNNS/E) presented a linear dynamic range for HCQ (LDR), ranging from 10.0 nmol l−1 to 6.92 μmol l−1, and detection (LOD) and quantification limits (LOQ) of 0.16 nmol l−1 and 0.52 nmol l−1, respectively. LOD and LOQ were calculated by the equations: LOD=3(Sd/b), and LOQ=10(Sd/b). The modified sensor presented excellent relative standard deviations for parameters such as repeatability (2.39 % and 1.87 %) and reproducibility (3.22 % and 2.32 %) in HCQ oxidation peaks (1 and 2). The CNNS/E has not shown significant variations in its anodic signal intensity in the presence of some organic and inorganic substances. It is worth bearing in mind that CNNS/E can be easily manufactured and the sensor has the lowest HCQ detection limits reported so far. The proposed sensor was successfully applied for HCQ determination in tablets and synthetic urine, showing good recovery values and an error of 0.60 % about comparative method in tablet samples, assuring the quality of the method.  相似文献

A novel enzyme-free electrochemical sensor for H2O2 was fabricated by modifying an indium tin oxide (ITO) support with (3-aminopropyl) trimethoxysilane to yield an interface for the assembly of colloidal gold. Gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) were then immobilized on the substrate via self-assembly. Atomic force microscopy showed the presence of a monolayer of well-dispersed AuNPs with an average size of ~4 nm. The electrochemical behavior of the resultant AuNP/ITO-modified electrode and its response to hydrogen peroxide were studied by cyclic voltammetry. This non-enzymatic and mediator-free electrode exhibits a linear response in the range from 3.0?×?10?5 M to 1.0?×?10?3 M (M?=?mol?·?L?1) with a correlation coefficient of 0.999. The limit of detection is as low as 10 nM (for S/N?=?3). The sensor is stable, gives well reproducible results, and is deemed to represent a promising tool for electrochemical sensing.

The anilinepentacyanoferrate (II) complex has been characterized in aqueous solution. The complex exhibits a predominant ligand field transition at λmax = 415 nm with ?max = 494 M?1 cm?1. The corresponding Fe(III) complex displays a strong absorption at λmax = 700nm(?max = 1.61×104 M?1 sec?1) which can be assigned as a ligand to metal charge transfer transition. The rate constants of formation and dissociation for the Fc(II) complex are (3.14±0.18)×102 M?1W?1 and 0.985±0.005 sec?1, respectively, at μ = 0.10 M LiClO4, pH = 8 and T = 25°C. The cyclic voltammetry of the complex shows that a reversible redox process is observed with E1/2 value of 0.51±0.01 V vs. NHE at μ = 0.10 M LiClO4, pH = 8 and T = 25°C. The kinetic study of the oxidation of the Fe(II) complex by ferricyanide ion yielded the rate constant of the reaction ket = (1.43±0.04)x10 M sec?1 at μ = 0.10 M LiClO4, pH = 8 and T = 25°C.  相似文献

The kinetics of base hydrolysis of (αβ S)-(o -methoxy benzoato) (tetraethylenepentamine)cobalt(III) obeyed the rate law: kobs = kOH[OH?], in the range 0.05 ? [OH?]T, mol dm?3 ? 1.0, I = 1.0 mol dm?3, and 20.0–40.0°C. At 25°C, kOH = 13.4 ± 0.4 dm3 mol?1 s?1, ΔH = 93 ± 2 kJ mol?1 and ΔS = 90 ± 5 JK?1 mol?1. Several anions of varying charge and basicity, CH3CO2?, SO32?, SO42?, CO32?, C2O42?, CH2(CO2)22?, PO43?, and citrate3? had no effect on the rate while phthalate2?, NTA3?, EDTA4?, and DTPA5? accelerated the process via formation of the reactive ion pairs. The anionic (SDS), cationic (CTAB), and neutral (Triton X-100) micelles, however, retarded the reaction, the effect being in the order SDS> CTAB > Triton X-100. The importance of electrostatic and hydrophobic effects of the micelles on the selective partitioning of the reactants between the micellar and bulk aqueous pseudo-phases which control the rate are discussed. © 1994 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

Zirconiumphthalocyanines: Synthesis and Properties of Chloride Ligated Phthalocyanines of Ter- and Quadrivalent Zirconium; Crystal Structure of cis-Di(triphenylphosphine)iminium-tri(chloro)phthalocyaninato(2–)zirconate(IV)-di(dichloromethane) cis-Di(chloro)phthalocyaninato(2–)zirconium(IV) is obtained by the reaction of ZrCl4 with phthalodinitrile in 1-chloronaphthaline at 230°C. It reacts with molten di(triphenylphosphine)iminiumchloride ((PNP)Cl) yielding cis-di(triphenylphosphine)iminium-tri(chloro)phthalocyaninato(2-)zirconate(IV), cis-(PNP)[ZrCl3Pc2?]. This crystallizes with two molecules of dichloromethane in the monoclinic space group P21/n with the lattice constants a = 15.219(4) Å, b = 20.262(10) Å, c = 20.719(4) Å, b? = 93.46(2)°, Z = 4. The seven coordinated Zr atom is situated in a “square base-trigonal cap” polyhedron. The plane of the three chlorine atoms runs parallel to the plane of the four isoindole nitrogen atoms Niso. The Zr–Cl distances range from 2.49 to 2.55 Å, the Zr? Niso distances from 2.26 to 2.29 Å. Due to ion packing effects the Pc2? ligand shows an asymmetrical convex distortion. The PNP cation adopts the bent conformation. The P? N? P angle is 139°, the P? N distance 1.58 Å. As confirmed by the cyclovoltammograms cis-(PNP)[ZrCl3Pc2?] is oxidized (anodically or chemically by Cl2) to yield cis-tri(chloro)phthalocyaninato(1–)zirconium(IV) and reduced (cathodically or chemically by [BH4]?) yielding chlorophthalocyaninato(2–)zirconium(III) and cis-di(triphenylphosphine)iminium-di(chloro)phthalocyaninato(2–)zirconate(III). The optical spectra show the typical π–π*-transitions of the Pc2? resp. Pc? ligand not much affected by the different states of oxidation and coordination of zirconium. The same is true for the vibrational spectra of the Pc2? resp. Pc? ligand. In the f.i.r. spectra between 350 and 150 cm?1 the asym. and sym. Zr? Cl stretching and Cl? Zr? Cl deformation vibration as well as the asym. Zr? N stretching vibration of the [ZrClxN4] skeleton (x = 1–3) is assigned.  相似文献

A label‐free, non‐derivatization chemiluminescence resonance energy transfer (CRET) detection platform has been developed for the detection of the non‐fluorescent small molecule 6‐mercaptopurine. This CRET process arose from a chemiluminescent (CL) donor–acceptor system in which the reaction of bis(2,4,6‐trichlorophenyl)oxalate (TCPO)–H2O2–fluorescein (maximum emission at 521.6 nm) served as the donor and gold nanoparticles (AuNPs, maximum absorption at 520.0 nm) served as the acceptor. This process caused a significant decrease in the CL signal of the TCPO–H2O2–fluorescein reaction. The presence of 6‐mercaptopurine induced an aggregation of AuNPs with the assistance of Cu2+ ions through cooperative metal–ligand interactions that was accompanied by a distinct change in color and optical properties. The maximum absorption band of the AuNPs was red‐shifted to 721.0 nm and no longer overlapped with the CL spectrum of the reaction; as a result, the CL signal was restored. This CRET system exhibited a wide linear range, from 9.0 nmol L?1 to 18.0 μmol L?1, and a low detection limit (0.62 nmol L?1) for 6‐mercaptopurine. The applicability of the proposed CRET system was evaluated by analysis of 6‐mercaptopurine in spiked human plasma samples.  相似文献

Ruthenium(II)-Phthalocyaninates(1–): Synthesis and Properties of (Halo)(carbonyl)phthalocyaninato(1–)ruthenium(II) Brown-violet (halo)(carbonyl)phthalocyaninato(1–)ruthenium(II), [Ru(X)(CO)Pc?] (X = Cl, Br) is prepared by oxidation of [Ru(X)(CO)Pc2?]? with the corresponding halogen or dibenzoylperoxide. The eff. magnetic moment μeff = 1.74 (X = Cl), 1.68 μB (Br) confirms the presence of a low-spin RuII complex of the Pc? radical. Accordingly, only the first ring oxidation at ~0.64 V and the first ring reduction at ~ ?1.19 V is observed in the cyclovoltammogram of [Ru(X)(CO)Pc2?]?. The UV-VIS-NIR spectra characterizing a monomeric Pc? radical with intense π-π* transitions at 14500, 19800, 25100 and 33900 cm?1 are compared with those of [Ru(Cl)2Pc?] and of monomeric as well as dimeric [Zn(Cl)Pc?]. The IR and resonance Raman(RR) spectra are characteristic for a Pc? radical, too. Diagnostic in-plane vibrations of the Pc? ligand are in the IR spectrum at 1071, 1359, 1445 cm?1 and in the RR spectrum (λ0 = 488.0 nm) at 567, 1597 cm?1. v(C? O) at 1950 cm?1 and v(Ru? X) at 260 (X = Cl) resp. 184 cm?1 (X = Br) are observed only in the IR spectrum.  相似文献

The present study was performed to estimate the concentration of genistein and daidzein in ethanol extract of tubers of Pueraria tuberosa (Indian kudzu or Vidarikanda) and its various fractions (n-hexane, ethyl acetate, n-butanol, and aqueous) by high-performance thin-layer chromatography (HPTLC). The separation of bioactive compounds was performed using mobile phase, toluene:ethyl acetate:acetone:formic acid (20.0:4.0:2.0:1.0) and detected at wavelength 269?nm. The method was validated for linearity, accuracy, precision, limit of detection (LOD), limit of quantification (LOQ), etc. by International Conference on Harmonization guidelines. The calibration range was found to be 100–600?ng/band for both the bioactive compounds. Daidzein was separated with an Rf value of 0.39?±?0.02 and genistein with an Rf value of 0.54?±?0.02. Average recovery was 99.96 and 99.90% for genistein and daidzein, respectively. The LOD and LOQ were 14.786 and 44.805?ng, respectively, for genistein, and 9.607 and 29.114?ng, respectively, for daidzein. Both the phytoconstituents were found in ethanol extract and its ethyl acetate fraction only. The developed HPTLC method was simple, precise, robust, specific, rapid, and cost effective and could be used for quality control analysis and quantification of genistein and daidzein in different herbal formulations containing the plant species.  相似文献

Herein, co-electrodeposition of AuNPs and ERGO onto GCE was conducted to prepare the modified electrode, GCE/AuNPs-ERGO. The poly(indole-5-carboxylic acid) (P(In-5-COOH) was then coated onto the GCE/AuNPs-ERGO with the help of electropolymerization. FT-IR, FE-SEM and EDX, and XRD techniques were employed to characterize the prepared nanocomposite. The nanocomposite modified electrode (GCE/AuNPs-ERGO/P(In-5-COOH)) was examined for the electrochemical reduction of H2O2 using chronoamperometry. A high reduction current for H2O2 was observed due to the synergistic effect between AuNPs-ERGO and P(In-5-COOH). The proposed sensor demonstrated a wide linear range of 0.025–750 μmol L−1, with a LOD of 0.008 μmol L−1 at −0.4 V. Furthermore, the developed sensor was applied for the detection of H2O2 in fetal bovine serum and urine samples.  相似文献

Photochemical Ligand Exchange of Hexahalo Osmates(IV) Irradiation of hexahaloosmates(IV) in various polar solvents (H2O, CH3CN, C5H5N) gives preferable monosubstituted products. First time [OsCl5(NC? CH3)]?, [OsBr5(NC? CH3)]? and [OsCl5py]? are prepared photochemically in larger amounts. The quantum yields in the region 313–436 nm are 10?2–10?3. The photochemical stability of the mono-substituted products is discussed. By photolysis of [OsBr6]2? in CH2Cl2 and 1,2-C2H4Cl2 the mixed-ligand complexes [OsClnBr6–n]2? are formed. After ionophoretic separation for the species with n = 2, 3, 4 a statistical ratio of the stereoisomers is observed. Slow photosubstitution takes place too in alkali halide pellets of the complex salts at room temperature.  相似文献

A zwitter-ionic salt 2-piperidinyl-4-dinitromethyl-1,3,5-triazin(1H,5H)-6-one is studied by the single crystal X-ray analysis. The crystals are monoclinic: a = 11.526(1) Å, b = 9.211(1) Å, c = 12.182(1) Å; β = 110.69(1)°, V = 1209.9(2) Å3, space group P21/n; Z = 4, ρcalc = 1.560 g/cm3. The transformation of the dinitromethyl fragment conformation, the conjugation of one of nitrogroups with the 1,3,5-triazine ring, and an intramolecular hydrogen bond are revealed. The 1,3,5-triazine cycle is strongly distorted due to lactam-lactim tautomerism.  相似文献

Enzyme-free amperometric ultrasensitive determination of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) was investigated using a Prussian blue (PB) film-modified gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) graphite–wax composite electrode. A stable PB film was obtained on graphite surface through 2-aminoethanethiol (AET)-capped AuNPs by a simple approach. Field emission scanning electron microscope studies results in formation of PB nanoparticle in the size range of 60–80 nm. Surface modification of PB film on AET–AuNPs–GW composite electrode was confirmed by Fourier transform infrared attenuated total reflection (FTIR-ATR) spectroscopy studies. Highly sensitive determination of H2O2 at a peak potential of ?0.10 V (vs. SCE) in 0.1 M KCl PBS, pH?=?7.0) at a scan rate of 20 mVs?1 with a sensitivity of 23.58 μA/mM was observed with the modified electrode using cyclic voltammetry. The synergetic effect of PB film with AuNPs has resulted in a linear range of 0.05 to 7,800 μM with a detection limit of 0.015 μM for H2O2 detection with the present electrode. Chronoamperometric studies recorded for the successive additions of H2O2 with the modified electrode showed an excellent linearity (R 2?=?0.9932) in the range of 4.8?×?10?8 to 7.4?×?10?8 M with a limit of detection of 1.4?×?10?8 M. Selective determination of H2O2 in presence of various interferents was successfully demonstrated. Human urine samples and stain remover solutions were also investigated for H2O2 content.  相似文献
