Summary The optically active sexidentate Schiff bases [H3 L 5] and [H3 L 6] were prepared from tris[(S)-2-aminopropyl]amine and 5-chlor- and 5-isopropylsalicylaldehyde, respectively. Reaction of rhodium trichloride with [H3 L 6] gave an enantiomerically pure [RhL 6] complex with an absolute configuration of for the octahedral arrangement. The chiroptical properties are given.

Zusammenfassung Ausgehend von Tris[(S)-2-aminopropyl]amin und 5-Chlor- beziehungsweise 5-Isopropylsalicylaldehyd wurden die optisch aktiven sechszähnigen Schiffschen Basen [H3 L 5] und [H3 L 6] hergestellt. Die Umsetzung von Rhodiumtrichlorid mit [H3 L 6] ergab einen enantiomerenreinen Komplex [RhL 6] mit einer Absolutkonfiguration von für die oktaedrische Anordnung des Liganden. Die chiroptischen Eigenschaften werden angegeben.

Summary Oxidation of isobenzofuranone1 yielded in a diastereoselective reaction epoxide2. Acidolysis of2 resulted in a mixture oftrans-glycols6 a (88%) and7 a (4%), which were separated by crystallization. The relative configuration of6 a and7 a at the chiral centers 3 a, 5, 6, and 7 a was determined by1H-NMR-spectroscopy and X-ray analysis of O-acetylated and 7 a-methylated derivatives.

A range of substituted pyridyl amino acids have been prepared by palladium catalysed cross-coupling of serine-derived organozinc reagents with differently substituted halopyridines. Following this procedure a DMAP analogue has been synthesised and used as a building block in the preparation of two related tripeptides, which have been tested as catalysts in the kinetic resolution of trans-2-(N-acetylamino)cyclohexan-1-ol, resulting in modest enantioselectivity.  相似文献

Allylboronates are highly attractive reagents for allyl additions. Enantiomerically pure, stable reagents with a stereogenic centre in alpha-position to boron are especially versatile, albeit often difficult to synthesize. Starting from boron-containing allyl alcohols 6 and 7, which are discussed in detail herein, a set of reagents were obtained via [3,3]-sigmatropic rearrangements and consecutive transformations in the side chain. The configurations could be established first by chemical correlation, but also by X-ray crystallography (16, 18, 34, and 39). Allyl additions were performed resulting in the formation of predominantly (Z)-configured homoallylic alcohols (31, 43-45) with high enantiomeric excess. Detailed investigations on the matched-mismatched interaction between the reagents 15/16 (and ent-15/ent-16, respectively) and isopropylidene glyceraldehyde 42d are presented.  相似文献

The nucleophilic addition of butyllithium, phenyllithium, methyllithium, and triallylborane to [2.2]paracyclophane-4,7-quinone (1) proceeded regio- and stereospecifically to give the corresponding cis-4,7-disubstituted 4,7-dihydroxy-4,7-dihydro[2.2]paracyclophanes 25 with the endo orientation of the hydroxy groups. Electrochemical oxidation of catechols (1a-c) has been studied in the presence of methyl acetoacetate (2a) and ethyl acetoacetate (2b) as nucleophiles in aqueous solution using cyclic voltammetry and controlled-potential coulometry. The results indicate that the quinones derived from catechols (1a-c) participate in Michael addition reactions with 2a and 2b to form the corresponding benzofuran derivatives (3a-f). The electrochemical synthesis of 3a-f has been successfully performed in an undivided cell in good yield and purity. The oxidation mechanism was deduced from voltammetric data and by coulometry at controlled potential. The products have been characterized after purification by IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, MS, and single crystal X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

We herein report our initial results on the synthesis of 5,6-dihydropyridin-2-one based ligands, containing a rigid heterocyclic core and two appendages mimicking arginine and aspartic acid moieties. The diastereoselective synthesis of naphthyl amino alcohols via nucleophilic addition to racemic 1-dimethylamino-2-methylpentan-3-one was studied. The use of the appropriate experimental conditions allowed the synthesis of both diastereoisomers. The relative configurations were established via NOESY experiments.  相似文献
