The reaction route 64Ni(p,n)64Cu is very popular for the preparation of 64Cu because its entrance channel is accessible at low energies and yield of reaction is quite high. However, a high price of
the enriched 64Ni is a disadvantage of this reaction path; hence, preparation of a chemically pure nickel targets for the production of 64Cu using COSTIS (Compact Solid Target Irradiation System) is of a great research interest. In this paper, effects of boric
acid, composition of electrolytic bath and electrochemical process conditions on the quality of nickel films deposited on
2 mm thick gold or platinum disc targets were investigated. Chemical purity of the electrodeposited nickel was measured by
the Auger electron spectroscopy and the surface quality of targets was studied microscopically (SEM). A SRIM program was used
for a thickness target calculation. COSTIS target station was installed at the end of the external beam line of the IBA Cyclone
18/9 cyclotron, and the irradiation surface of target was optimized. The target station has been equipped with Al or Nb window
foil in the front of the target to degrade the beam energy to an optimal value. 相似文献

The station for pions cancer therapy was operated at PSI from 1980 to 1992. After a cooling time of 12 years it’s made of
copper beam dump was cut and samples were taken for analytical purposes. The sampling collected about 500 g of high active
copper chips that can be used for separation of exotic radionuclides. The analyses by gamma spectrometry, LSC and AMS showed
main nuclides present to be 60Co, 54Mn, 22Na, 65Zn, 26Al, 53Mn, 59Ni, 63Ni, 55Fe and 60Fe and 44Ti with a daughter nuclide 44Sc. In the frame of ERAWAST project a procedure combining selective precipitation and ion exchange for the separation of the
rare radionuclides from the copper beam dump was developed. The proposed separation procedure is easy for remote controlled
implementation in a hot cell. The ion exchange separation of Ni, Al, Mg, Ti and Fe was complete and high decontamination factors
for copper and cobalt were achieved. Based on the developed procedure a remotely controlled system for separation of exotic
radionuclides from the copper chips was set up. The full scale system was installed in a hot cell where high activity levels
can be handled. In order to evaluate the reliability and functionality of the system extensive tests have been done. During
the test period 13.86 g in total of the proton irradiated copper beam dump were processed for separation of 26Al, 59Ni, 53Mn, 44Ti and 60Fe. The results showed that the system was operational and the radionuclide separation was selective with high chemical yield.
The procedure manages as well the generated liquid wastes containing high level of 60Co activity. 相似文献

Separation and purification of <Superscript>249</Superscript>Cf and <Superscript>245</Superscript>Cm
There is a need to provide radioactivity standards of the higher actinides in support of both decommissioning and remediation
activities as well as routine environmental analysis. In the case 249Cf, this will provide a useful calibration nuclide for both α-and γ-spectrometry as well as improving knowledge of the decay
scheme for this nuclide. There is anecdotal evidence to suggest that the chemical yield of americium and curium may differ
in radiochemical analysis. Thus, a chemical yield tracer of 245Cm may help to resolve this issue and will be suitable for both, suitable for use as a chemical yield tracer for both α-particle
spectrometry and mass spectrometry. An aged source of 249Cf was used as the source material for the separation of these two nuclides by cation-exchange, using 2-hydroxy-2-methyl-propanoic
acid at controlled pH as an eluant, 249Cf being eluted before the 245Cm daughter. The purity of both nuclides was measured by γ-ray spectrometry. 相似文献

Summary Separation and purification of 133Xe from acidic solution containing uranium, 99Mo and 131I has been developed. In the first step of this work, uranium pellets were dissolved under pressure (8-15 bar) in 8M nitric acid solution. Then133 Xe and other gases were conducted to activated charcoal cold trap. Final purification of 133Xe from impurities such as NOx, radioiodine and krypton was performed by passing through a molecular sieve preparative chromatographic column using helium as mobile phase. The final recovery of 133Xe from the separation-purification process was higher than 98%. Adsorption-desorption behavior of radioxenon on the charcoal and molecular sieves have also been studied and discussed. 相似文献

1/2 = 64 h), 72As (T
1/2 = 26 h), and 73As (T
1/2 = 17.8 d) are of interest in biomedical investigations using PET. A fast and simple method for their production using low-energy proton and deuteron reactions on enriched Ge-targets is presented. Dry distillation of GeO2 at 1105 °C during 2 hours provides a separation efficiency of more than 60%. The loss of target material is less than one per cent and the irradiated targets can be used several times. The method allows production of diagnostically useful amounts of positron-emitting arsenic isotopes using accelerators commonly available at PET-centres. 相似文献

Summary An extraction chromatography method was developed for the separation of 239Np from 243Am in nitric acid solution. A sorbent based on aliphatic quaternary amine Aliquat-336 and hydrophobized silica gel was prepared. 239Np reduced to the oxidation state(IV) with ferrous sulfamate in 2M or 6M HNO3 sorbs on the prepared silica gel column. After washing with 0.1M ferrous sulfamate in 2.5M HNO3, 239Np is eluted with 0.1M HNO3 containing 0.02M HF. The separation of 243Am from 239Np is very effective. The purity of 239Np was found to be better than 99.5%. The proposed 239Np milking procedure is suitable for the preparation of 239Np tracer that can be used for the determination of 237Np radiochemical yield. 相似文献

We investigated the immunological behavior of BTHX-1, before and after irradiation. SDS-PAGE showed that BTHX-1 irradiated
in the presence of NaNO3, had its structure preserved. Animals’ plasma immunized with native BTHX-1 had high IgG1 titers. The irradiated protein induced
high titers of IgG2b. When the toxin was irradiated with t-butanol, there was a slight decrease in the production of IgG2b.
Real-time PCR showed that both the IL-2 as for IL4 was more expression from the cells of the animals immunized with BTHX-1
irradiated. These results indicate that irradiation of proteins leads to significant structural modifications. 相似文献

This method was used for the assessment of 64+67Cu radioisotope separation from 67Ga, the quality control of 64Cu product and the determination of the 68Zn (p,2p)67Cu reaction yield. The improvement in the targetry and the optimization of proton beam energy for the 68Zn target based 64Cu and 67Ga production were proposed based on the stopping power and range of the incident proton and on the excitation functions,

The radiochemical separation of no-carrier-added cerium from proton irradiated lanthanum was studied by solvent extraction
using DEE, TBP and TPPO, the latter reagent being employed for the first time for separation of radiocerium from bulk of lanthanum.
Distribution coefficients of cerium and lanthanum were investigated as a function of equilibrium time and concentration of
HNO3. A mixture of 0.05M K2Cr2O7 and 0.1M H2SO4 was used as an oxidizing agent to improve the separation efficiency of cerium. A comparative study of the three extractants
released that DEE is the best for separation of cerium from bulk of lanthanum oxide. The target was prepared by pressing.
The production of 139Ce of high radionuclidic purity and chemical purity via irradiation of lanthanum oxide target at MGC-20 cyclotron with protons

The therapeutic radionuclide 47Sc was produced through the 48Ca(p,2n) channel on a proton beam accelerator. The obtained results show that the optimum proton energies are in the range of 24–17 MeV, giving the possibility to produce 47Sc radionuclide containing 7.4% of 48Sc. After activation, the powdery CaCO3 target material was dissolved in HCl and scandium isotopes were isolated from the targets. The performed separation experiments indicate that, due to the simplicity of the operations and the chemical purity of the obtained 47Sc the best separation process is when scandium radioisotopes are separated on the 0.2 µm filter. 相似文献

A sequential separation procedure has been developed for the determination of 99Tc, 94Nb, 55Fe, 90Sr and 59/63Ni in various radioactive wastes generated from nuclear power plants. Ion exchange and extraction chromatography were adopted
for individual separation of the radionuclides. Precipitation was supplementarily utilized for both purification of the individual
radionuclides and preparation of the radionuclide sources for use in a radioactivity measurement. The chromatographic separation
behavior of the radionuclides both from the sample matrix metals and from one another was investigated using stable metals,
Re (as a surrogate of 99Tc), Nb, Fe, Sr and Ni. The validity of the procedure for reliability and applicability was evaluated by measuring the recovery
of the metal carriers added to synthetic radioactive waste solutions. The recoveries by the chromatographic separation were

as organic phase and HCl as aqueous phase. At 10−5 M HCl and 0.5 M TOA concentration 99mTc quantitatively transferred to the organic phase leaving 99Mo in the aqueous phase. The developed separation method is efficient and provides very high separation factor. 相似文献

Activity concentrations of 238U, 235U and 234U were determined in different sources of drinking water at the Obuasi gold mines and its surrounding areas in Ghana. Water
samples collected from the mines and its surrounding areas were analyzed using direct gamma-ray spectrometry and neutron activation
analysis. The 234U/238U and 235U/238U ratios were calculated and the mean values range from 1.27 to 1.38 and from 0.044 to 0.045 respectively. The average 234U/238U ratio was from 1.27 for groundwater to 1.38 for treated water, demonstrating the lack of equilibrium. The average 235U/238U activity ratio is 0.045, indicating that only natural uranium was detected in the samples investigated. 相似文献
