Let ${\Omega \subset \mathbb{R}^{N}}$ be a Lipschitz domain and Γ be a relatively open and non-empty subset of its boundary ${\partial\Omega}$ . We show that the solution to the linear first-order system $$\nabla \zeta = G\zeta, \, \, \zeta|_\Gamma = 0 \quad \quad \quad (1)$$ is unique if ${G \in \textsf{L}^{1}(\Omega; \mathbb{R}^{(N \times N) \times N})}$ and ${\zeta \in \textsf{W}^{1,1}(\Omega; \mathbb{R}^{N})}$ . As a consequence, we prove $$||| \cdot ||| : \textsf{C}_{o}^{\infty}(\Omega, \Gamma; \mathbb{R}^{3}) \rightarrow [0, \infty), \, \, u \mapsto \parallel {\rm sym}(\nabla uP^{-1})\parallel_{\textsf{L}^{2}(\Omega)}$$ to be a norm for ${P \in \textsf{L}^{\infty}(\Omega; \mathbb{R}^{3 \times 3})}$ with Curl ${P \in \textsf{L}^{p}(\Omega; \mathbb{R}^{3 \times 3})}$ , Curl ${P^{-1} \in \textsf{L}^{q}(\Omega; \mathbb{R}^{3 \times 3})}$ for some p, q > 1 with 1/p + 1/q = 1 as well as det ${P \geq c^+ > 0}$ . We also give a new and different proof for the so-called ‘infinitesimal rigid displacement lemma’ in curvilinear coordinates: Let ${\Phi \in \textsf{H}^{1}(\Omega; \mathbb{R}^{3})}$ satisfy sym ${(\nabla\Phi^\top\nabla\Psi) = 0}$ for some ${\Psi \in \textsf{W}^{1,\infty}(\Omega; \mathbb{R}^{3}) \cap \textsf{H}^{2}(\Omega; \mathbb{R}^{3})}$ with det ${\nabla\Psi \geq c^+ > 0}$ . Then, there exist a constant translation vector ${a \in \mathbb{R}^{3}}$ and a constant skew-symmetric matrix ${A \in \mathfrak{so}(3)}$ , such that ${\Phi = A\Psi + a}$ .  相似文献

Let \(A = -\mathrm{div} \,a(\cdot ) \nabla \) be a second order divergence form elliptic operator on \({\mathbb R}^n\) with bounded measurable real-valued coefficients and let \(W\) be a cylindrical Brownian motion in a Hilbert space \(H\) . Our main result implies that the stochastic convolution process $$\begin{aligned} u(t) = \int _0^t e^{-(t-s)A}g(s)\,dW(s), \quad t\geqslant 0, \end{aligned}$$ satisfies, for all \(1\leqslant p<\infty \) , a conical maximal \(L^p\) -regularity estimate $$\begin{aligned} {\mathbb E}\Vert \nabla u \Vert _{ T_2^{p,2}({\mathbb R}_+\times {\mathbb R}^n)}^p \leqslant C_p^p {\mathbb E}\Vert g \Vert _{ T_2^{p,2}({\mathbb R}_+\times {\mathbb R}^n;H)}^p. \end{aligned}$$ Here, \(T_2^{p,2}({\mathbb R}_+\times {\mathbb R}^n)\) and \(T_2^{p,2}({\mathbb R}_+\times {\mathbb R}^n;H)\) are the parabolic tent spaces of real-valued and \(H\) -valued functions, respectively. This contrasts with Krylov’s maximal \(L^p\) -regularity estimate $$\begin{aligned} {\mathbb E}\Vert \nabla u \Vert _{L^p({\mathbb R}_+;L^2({\mathbb R}^n;{\mathbb R}^n))}^p \leqslant C^p {\mathbb E}\Vert g \Vert _{L^p({\mathbb R}_+;L^2({\mathbb R}^n;H))}^p \end{aligned}$$ which is known to hold only for \(2\leqslant p<\infty \) , even when \(A = -\Delta \) and \(H = {\mathbb R}\) . The proof is based on an \(L^2\) -estimate and extrapolation arguments which use the fact that \(A\) satisfies suitable off-diagonal bounds. Our results are applied to obtain conical stochastic maximal \(L^p\) -regularity for a class of nonlinear SPDEs with rough initial data.  相似文献

We consider the following q-eigenvalue problem for the p-Laplacian $$\left\{\begin{array}{ll}-{\rm div}\big( |\nabla u|^{p-2}\nabla u\big) = \lambda \|u\|_{L^{q}(\Omega)}^{p-q}|u|^{q-2}u \quad \quad\, {\rm in} \,\,\,\, \Omega\\ \quad\quad\quad \quad \quad \quad u = 0 \quad\qquad\qquad \quad\quad \,\,{\rm on } \,\,\,\, \partial\Omega,\end{array}\right.$$ where \({\lambda\in\mathbb{R},}\) p > 1, Ω is a bounded and smooth domain of \({\mathbb{R}^{N},}\) N > 1, \({1\leq q < p^{\star}}\) , \({p^{\star}=\frac{Np}{N-p}}\) if p < N and \({p^{\star}=\infty}\) if \({p\geq N.}\) Let λ q denote the first q-eigenvalue. We prove that in the super-linear case, \({p < q < p^{\star},}\) there exists \({\epsilon_{q}>0}\) such that if \({\lambda\in(\lambda_{q},\lambda _{q}+\epsilon_{q})}\) is a q-eigenvalue, then any corresponding q-eigenfunction does not change sign in Ω. As a consequence of this result we obtain, in the super-linear case, the isolatedness of λ q for those Ω such that the Lane–Emden problem $$\left\{\begin{array}{ll}-{\rm div}\big(|\nabla u|^{p-2}\nabla u\big) = |u|^{q-2}u \qquad\quad\quad\quad \,\,{\rm in}\,\,\,\Omega\\ \quad\quad\quad \quad \quad \quad u = 0 \quad\qquad\qquad \quad\quad \,{\rm on } \,\,\, \partial\Omega,\end{array}\right.$$ has exactly one positive solution.  相似文献

We consider the following fourth order mean field equation with Navier boundary condition $$\Delta^2 u = \rho \frac{h(x) e^{u}}{\int_\Omega h e^{u}}\,\,{\rm in}\, \Omega,{\quad}u = \Delta u = 0\,\,{\rm on}\,\partial \Omega,\quad\quad\quad\quad\quad\quad\quad\quad\quad\quad(*)$$ where h is a C 2,?? positive function, ?? is a bounded and smooth domain in ${\mathbb{R}^4}$ . We prove that for ${\rho \in (32m\sigma_3, 32(m + 1)\sigma_3)}$ the degree-counting formula for (*) is given by $$d(\rho)=\left\{\begin{array}{ll}\frac{1}{m!} (-\chi (\Omega) +1) \cdot\cdot \cdot (-\chi(\Omega)+m) & {\rm for}\, m >0 ,\\ 1 & {\rm for}\, m=0\end{array}\right.$$ where ??(??) is the Euler characteristic of ??. Similar result is also proved for the corresponding Dirichlet problem $$\Delta^2 u = \rho \frac{h(x) e^{u}}{\int_\Omega h e^{u}}\quad{\rm in}\,\Omega, \quad u = \nabla u = 0 \quad {\rm on}\,\,\partial \Omega.\quad\quad\quad\quad\quad\quad\quad\quad\quad\quad(**)$$   相似文献

Let N ≥ 5 and \({{\mathcal{D}}^{2,2} (\mathbb{R}^N)}\) denote the closure of \({C_0^\infty (\mathbb{R}^N)}\) in the norm \({\|u\|_{{\mathcal{D}}^{2,2} (\mathbb{R}^N)}^2 := \int\nolimits_{\mathbb{R}^N} |\Delta u|^2.}\) Let \({K \in C^2 (\mathbb{R}^N).}\) We consider the following problem for ? ≥ 0: $$(P_\varepsilon) \left\{\begin{array}{llll}{\rm Find} \, u \in {\mathcal{D}}^{2, 2} (\mathbb{R}^N) \, \, {\rm solving} :\\ \left.\begin{array}{lll}\Delta^2 u = (1+ \varepsilon K (x)) u^{\frac{N+4}{N-4}}\\ u > 0 \end{array}\right\}{\rm in} \, \mathbb{R}^N.\end{array}\right.$$ We show an exact multiplicity result for (P ? ) for all small ? > 0.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the existence of minimizers for $$F(u) = \frac{1}{2} \int_{\mathbb{R}^3} |\nabla u|^{2} {\rm d}x + \frac{1}{4} \int_{\mathbb{R}^3} \int_{\mathbb{R}^3} \frac{| u(x)|^2 | u(y)|^2}{| x-y|} {\rm d}x{\rm d}y-\frac{1}{p} \int_{\mathbb{R}^3}|u|^p {\rm d}x$$ on the constraint $$S(c) = \{u \in H^1(\mathbb{R}^3) : \int_{\mathbb{R}^3}|u|^2 {\rm d}x = c\}$$ , where c >  0 is a given parameter. In the range ${p \in [3,\frac{10}{3}]}$ , we explicit a threshold value of c >  0 separating existence and nonexistence of minimizers. We also derive a nonexistence result of critical points of F(u) restricted to S(c) when c >  0 is sufficiently small. Finally, as a by-product of our approaches, we extend some results of Colin et al. (Nonlinearity 23(6):1353–1385, 2010) where a constrained minimization problem, associated with a quasi-linear equation, is considered.  相似文献

Let $f,g$ be two closed $k$ -forms over $\mathbb{R }^{n}.$ The pullback equation studies the existence of a diffeomorphism $\varphi :\mathbb{R }^{n} \rightarrow \mathbb{R }^{n}$ such that $$\begin{aligned} \varphi ^{*}(g)=f. \end{aligned}$$ We prove two types of results. The first one sharpens some of the existing regularity results. The second one discusses the possibility of choosing the map $\varphi $ as the gradient of a function $\Phi :\mathbb{R }^{n} \rightarrow \mathbb R .$ We show that this is a very rare event unless the two forms are constant.  相似文献

Using variational methods, we study the existence and nonexistence of nontrivial weak solutions for the quasilinear elliptic system $$\left\{\begin{array}{ll}- {\rm div}(h_1(|\nabla u|^2)\nabla u) = \frac{\mu}{|x|^2}u + \lambda F_u(x, u, \upsilon)\quad {\rm in}\,\Omega,\\- {\rm div}(h_2(|\nabla \upsilon|^2)\nabla \upsilon) = \frac{\mu}{|x|^2}\upsilon + \lambda F_\upsilon(x,u,\upsilon)\quad {\rm in}\,\Omega,\\u = \upsilon = 0 \qquad \qquad \qquad \qquad \qquad \qquad {\rm in}\, \partial\Omega, \end{array}\right.$$ where \({\Omega \subset \mathbb{R}^N,N \geq 3}\) , is a bounded domain containing the origin with smooth boundary \({\partial \Omega ; h_i, i = 1, 2}\) , are nonhomogeneous potentials; \({(F_u, F_v) = \nabla F}\) stands for the gradient of a sign-changing C 1-function \({F : \Omega \times \mathbb{R}^2 \to \mathbb{R}}\) in the variable \({{w = (u, v) \in \mathbb{R}^2}}\) ; and λ and μ are parameters.  相似文献

Let L=?Δ+V is a Schrödinger operator on $\mathbb{R}^{d}$ , d≥3, V≥0. Let $H^{1}_{L}$ denote the Hardy space associated with L. We shall prove that there is an L-harmonic function w, 0<δw(x)≤C, such that the mapping $$H_L^1 \ni f\mapsto wf\in H^1\bigl(\mathbb{R}^d\bigr) $$ is an isomorphism from the Hardy space $H_{L}^{1}$ onto the classical Hardy space $H^{1}(\mathbb{R}^{d})$ if and only if $\Delta^{-1}V(x)=-c_{d}\int_{\mathbb{R}^{d}} |x-y|^{2-d} V(y) dy$ belongs to $L^{\infty}(\mathbb{R}^{d})$ .  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the multiplicity and concentration of positive solutions for the nonlinear Schr?dinger?CPoisson equations $$ \left\{ \begin{array}{l@{\quad}l} -\varepsilon^2\triangle u+V(x)u+\phi(x) u=f(u)& {\rm in}\,{\mathbb R}^3, \\ -\varepsilon^2\triangle \phi=u^2 & {\rm in}\,{\mathbb R}^3, \\ u\in H^1({\mathbb R}^3), u(x) > 0,& \forall x\in{\mathbb R}^3, \\ \end{array} \right. $$ where ???>?0 is a parameter, ${V: {\mathbb R}^3\rightarrow{\mathbb R}}$ is a continuous function and ${f: {\mathbb R}\rightarrow {\mathbb R}}$ is a C 1 function having subcritical growth. The proof of the main result is based on minimax theorems and the Ljusternik?CSchnirelmann theory.  相似文献

We consider the critical focusing wave equation $(-\partial _t^2+\Delta )u+u^5=0$ in ${\mathbb{R }}^{1+3}$ and prove the existence of energy class solutions which are of the form $$\begin{aligned} u(t,x)=t^\frac{\mu }{2}W(t^\mu x)+\eta (t,x) \end{aligned}$$ in the forward lightcone $\{(t,x)\in {\mathbb{R }}\times {\mathbb{R }}^3: |x|\le t, t\gg 1\}$ where $W(x)=(1+\frac{1}{3} |x|^2)^{-\frac{1}{2}}$ is the ground state soliton, $\mu $ is an arbitrary prescribed real number (positive or negative) with $|\mu |\ll 1$ , and the error $\eta $ satisfies $$\begin{aligned} \Vert \partial _t \eta (t,\cdot )\Vert _{L^2(B_t)} +\Vert \nabla \eta (t,\cdot )\Vert _{L^2(B_t)}\ll 1,\quad B_t:=\{x\in {\mathbb{R }}^3: |x|<t\} \end{aligned}$$ for all $t\gg 1$ . Furthermore, the kinetic energy of $u$ outside the cone is small. Consequently, depending on the sign of $\mu $ , we obtain two new types of solutions which either concentrate as $t\rightarrow \infty $ (with a continuum of rates) or stay bounded but do not scatter. In particular, these solutions contradict a strong version of the soliton resolution conjecture.  相似文献

We study the L p boundedness of the generalized Bochner–Riesz means S λ which are defined as $$S^{\lambda}f(x) = \mathcal{F}^{-1} \left[\left(1 - \rho \right)_{+}^{\lambda} \widehat{f} \right](x)$$ where ${\rho(\xi) = {\rm max}\{|\xi_{1}|, \ldots, |\xi_{\ell}|\}}$ for ${\xi = (\xi_{1},\ldots, \xi_{\ell}) \in \mathbb{R}^{{d}_{1}} \times \cdots \times \mathbb{R}^{{d}_{\ell}}}$ and ${\mathcal{F}^{-1}}$ is the inverse Fourier transform.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the existence, multiplicity and concentration behavior of positive solutions for the critical Kirchhoff-type problem $$\begin{aligned} \left\{ \begin{array}{l@{\quad }l} -\left(\varepsilon ^2a+\varepsilon b\int _{\mathbb{R }^{3}}|\nabla u|^2\right)\Delta u+V(x)u=u^{2^*-1}+\lambda f(u)&\text{ in}~{\mathbb{R }^{3}},\\ u\in H^1({\mathbb{R }^{3}}), ~u(x)>0&\text{ in}~{\mathbb{R }^{3}}, \end{array}\right. \end{aligned}$$ where $\varepsilon $ and $\lambda $ are positive parameters, and $a,b>0$ are constants, $2^*(=6)$ is the critical Sobolev exponent in dimension three, $V$ is a positive continuous potential satisfying some conditions, and $f$ is a subcritical nonlinear term. We use the variational methods to relate the number of solutions with the topology of the set where $V$ attains its minimum, for all sufficiently large $\lambda $ and small $\varepsilon $ .  相似文献

For integral functionals initially defined for ${u \in {\rm W}^{1,1}(\Omega; \mathbb{R}^m)}$ by $$\int_{\Omega} f(\nabla u) \, {\rm d}x$$ we establish strict continuity and relaxation results in ${{\rm BV}(\Omega; \mathbb{R}^m)}$ . The results cover the case of signed continuous integrands ${f : \mathbb{R}^{m \times d} \to \mathbb{R}}$ of linear growth at infinity. In particular, it is not excluded that the integrands are unbounded below.  相似文献

Let \(\Delta _0\) be the Laplace–Beltrami operator on the unit sphere \(\mathbb {S}^{d-1}\) of \({\mathbb R}^d\) . We show that the Hardy–Rellich inequality of the form $$\begin{aligned} \mathop \int \limits _{\mathbb {S}^{d-1}} \left| f (x)\right| ^2 \mathrm{d}{\sigma }(x) \le c_d \min _{e\in \mathbb {S}^{d-1}} \mathop \int \limits _{\mathbb {S}^{d-1}} (1- {\langle }x, e {\rangle }) \left| (-\Delta _0)^{\frac{1}{2}}f(x) \right| ^2 \mathrm{d}{\sigma }(x) \end{aligned}$$ holds for \(d =2\) and \(d \ge 4\) but does not hold for \(d=3\) with any finite constant, and the optimal constant for the inequality is \(c_d = 8/(d-3)^2\) for \(d =2, 4, 5,\) and, under additional restrictions on the function space, for \(d\ge 6\) . This inequality yields an uncertainty principle of the form $$\begin{aligned} \min _{e\in \mathbb {S}^{d-1}} \mathop \int \limits _{\mathbb {S}^{d-1}} (1- {\langle }x, e {\rangle }) |f(x)|^2 \mathrm{d}{\sigma }(x) \mathop \int \limits _{\mathbb {S}^{d-1}}\left| \nabla _0 f(x)\right| ^2 \mathrm{d}{\sigma }(x) \ge c'_d \end{aligned}$$ on the sphere for functions with zero mean and unit norm, which can be used to establish another uncertainty principle without zero mean assumption, both of which appear to be new.  相似文献

In this paper, some improved regularity criteria for the 3D viscous MHD equations are established in multiplier spaces. It is proved that if the velocity field satisfies $$u \in L^{\frac{2}{1-r}}\left( 0,T,\overset{.}{X}_{r}(\mathbb{R}^{3}) \right) \quad {\rm with}\,r\in [0,1[,$$ or the gradient field of velocity satisfies $$\nabla u\in L^{\frac{2}{2-\gamma}}\left(0,T,\overset{.}{X}_{\gamma}(\mathbb{R}^{3}) \right) \quad {\rm with}\,\gamma \in \left[ 0,1\right],$$ then the solution remains smooth on [0, T].  相似文献

In this paper we deal with local estimates for parabolic problems in ${\mathbb{R}^N}$ with absorbing first order terms, whose model is $$\left\{\begin{array}{l@{\quad}l}u_t- \Delta u +u |\nabla u|^q = f(t,x) \quad &{\rm in}\, (0,T) \times \mathbb{R}^N\,,\\u(0,x)= u_0 (x) &{\rm in}\, \mathbb{R}^N \,,\quad\end{array}\right.$$ where ${T >0 , \, N\geq 2,\, 1 < q \leq 2,\, f(t,x)\in L^1\left( 0,T; L^1_{\rm loc} \left(\mathbb{R}^N\right)\right)}$ and ${u_0\in L^1_{\rm loc}\left(\mathbb{R}^{N}\right)}$ .  相似文献

This work starts with the introduction of a family of differential energy operators. Energy operators $({\varPsi}_{R}^{+}, {\varPsi}_{R}^{-})$ were defined together with a method to decompose the wave equation in a previous work. Here the energy operators are defined following the order of their derivatives $(\varPsi^{-}_{k}, \varPsi^{+}_{k}, k=\{0,\pm 1,\pm 2,\ldots\})$ . The main part of the work demonstrates for any smooth real-valued function f in the Schwartz space $(\mathbf{S}^{-}(\mathbb{R}))$ , the successive derivatives of the n-th power of f ( $n \in \mathbb{Z}$ and n≠0) can be decomposed using only $\varPsi^{+}_{k}$ (Lemma); or if f in a subset of $\mathbf{S}^{-}(\mathbb{R})$ , called $\mathbf{s}^{-}(\mathbb{R})$ , $\varPsi^{+}_{k}$ and $\varPsi^{-}_{k}$ ( $k\in \mathbb{Z}$ ) decompose in a unique way the successive derivatives of the n-th power of f (Theorem). Some properties of the Kernel and the Image of the energy operators are given along with the development. Finally, the paper ends with the application to the energy function.  相似文献

In this paper, we prove the Hyers–Ulam stability theorem when \({f, g, h : \mathbb{R} \to \mathbb{R}}\) satisfy $$|f(x + y) - g(x) - h(y)| \leq \epsilon$$ in a set \({\Gamma \subset \mathbb{R}^{2}}\) of measure \({m(\Gamma) = 0}\) , which refines a previous result in Chung (Aequat Math 83:313–320, 2012) and gives an affirmative answer to the question in the paper. As a direct consequence we obtain that if \({f, g, h : \mathbb{R} \to \mathbb{R}}\) satisfy the Pexider equation $$f(x + y) - g(x) - h(y) = 0$$ in \({\Gamma}\) , then the equation holds for all \({x, y \in \mathbb{R}}\) . Using our method of construction of the set, we can find a set \({\Gamma \subset \mathbb{R}^{2n}}\) of 2n-dimensional measure 0 and obtain the above result for the functions \({f, g, h : \mathbb{R}^{n} \to \mathbb{C}}\) .  相似文献

We study the Laplace equation in the half-space ${\mathbb{R}_{+}^{n}}$ with a nonlinear supercritical Robin boundary condition ${\frac{\partial u}{\partial\eta }+\lambda u=u\left\vert u\right\vert^{\rho-1}+f(x)}$ on ${\partial \mathbb{R}_{+}^{n}=\mathbb{R}^{n-1}}$ , where n ≥ 3 and λ ≥ 0. Existence of solutions ${u \in E_{pq}= \mathcal{D}^{1, p}(\mathbb{R}_{+}^{n}) \cap L^{q}(\mathbb{R}_{+}^{n})}$ is obtained by means of a fixed point argument for a small data $f \in {L^{d}(\mathbb{R}^{n-1})}$ . The indexes p, q are chosen for the norm ${\Vert\cdot\Vert_{E_{pq}}}$ to be invariant by scaling of the boundary problem. The solution u is positive whether f(x) > 0 a.e. ${x\in\mathbb{R}^{n-1}}$ . When f is radially symmetric, u is invariant under rotations around the axis {x n  = 0}. Moreover, in a certain L q -norm, we show that solutions depend continuously on the parameter λ ≥ 0.  相似文献
