Given n, N ≥ 1 we construct a set of points ${\lambda_1,{\ldots},\lambda_{N^n}\in{\mathbb D}^n}$ such that for each rational inner function f on ${{\mathbb D}^n}$ of degree less than N the Pick problem on ${{\mathbb D}^n}$ with data ${\lambda_1,{\ldots},\lambda_{N^n}}$ and ${f(\lambda_1),{\ldots},f(\lambda_{N^n})}$ has a unique solution. In particular, we construct a 1-dimensional inner variety V and show that the points ${\lambda_1,{\ldots},\lambda_{N^n}}$ may be chosen almost arbitrarily in ${V\cap{\mathbb D}^n}$ . Our results state that f is uniquely determined in the Schur class of ${{\mathbb D}^n}$ by its values on ${\lambda_1,{\ldots},\lambda_{N^n}}$ .  相似文献

In this paper we consider the existence of homoclinic solutions for the following second order non-autonomous Hamiltonian system $${\ddot q}-L(t)q+\nabla W(t,q)=0, \quad\quad\quad\quad\quad\quad\quad (\rm HS)$$ where ${L\in C({\mathbb R},{\mathbb R}^{n^2})}$ is a symmetric and positive definite matrix for all ${t\in {\mathbb R}}$ , W(t, q)?=?a(t)U(q) with ${a\in C({\mathbb R},{\mathbb R}^+)}$ and ${U\in C^1({\mathbb R}^n,{\mathbb R})}$ . The novelty of this paper is that, assuming L is bounded from below in the sense that there is a constant M?>?0 such that (L(t)q, q)?≥ M |q|2 for all ${(t,q)\in {\mathbb R}\times {\mathbb R}^n}$ , we establish one new compact embedding theorem. Subsequently, supposing that U satisfies the global Ambrosetti–Rabinowitz condition, we obtain a new criterion to guarantee that (HS) has one nontrivial homoclinic solution using the Mountain Pass Theorem, moreover, if U is even, then (HS) has infinitely many distinct homoclinic solutions. Recent results from the literature are generalized and significantly improved.  相似文献

Using elementary arguments based on the Fourier transform we prove that for ${1 \leq q < p < \infty}$ and ${s \geq 0}$ with s > n(1/2 ? 1/p), if ${f \in L^{q,\infty} (\mathbb{R}^n) \cap \dot{H}^s (\mathbb{R}^n)}$ , then ${f \in L^p(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ and there exists a constant c p,q,s such that $$\| f \|_{L^{p}} \leq c_{p,q,s} \| f \|^\theta _{L^{q,\infty}} \| f \|^{1-\theta}_{\dot{H}^s},$$ where 1/pθ/q + (1?θ)(1/2?s/n). In particular, in ${\mathbb{R}^2}$ we obtain the generalised Ladyzhenskaya inequality ${\| f \| _{L^4} \leq c \| f \|^{1/2}_{L^{2,\infty}} \| f \|^{1/2}_{\dot{H}^1}}$ .We also show that for s = n/2 and q > 1 the norm in ${\| f \|_{\dot{H}^{n/2}}}$ can be replaced by the norm in BMO. As well as giving relatively simple proofs of these inequalities, this paper provides a brief primer of some basic concepts in harmonic analysis, including weak spaces, the Fourier transform, the Lebesgue Differentiation Theorem, and Calderon–Zygmund decompositions.  相似文献

Let ${\vartheta}$ be a measure on the polydisc ${\mathbb{D}^n}$ which is the product of n regular Borel probability measures so that ${\vartheta([r,1)^n\times\mathbb{T}^n) >0 }$ for all 0 < r < 1. The Bergman space ${A^2_{\vartheta}}$ consists of all holomorphic functions that are square integrable with respect to ${\vartheta}$ . In one dimension, it is well known that if f is continuous on the closed disc ${\overline{\mathbb{D}}}$ , then the Hankel operator H f is compact on ${A^2_\vartheta}$ . In this paper we show that for n ≥ 2 and f a continuous function on ${{\overline{\mathbb{D}}}^n}$ , H f is compact on ${A^2_\vartheta}$ if and only if there is a decomposition f = h + g, where h belongs to ${A^2_\vartheta}$ and ${\lim_{z\to\partial\mathbb{D}^n}g(z)=0}$ .  相似文献

We consider a closed semi-algebraic set ${X \subset \mathbb{R}^n}$ and a C 2 semi-algebraic function ${f : \mathbb{R}^n \rightarrow\mathbb{R}}$ such that ${f_{\vert X}}$ has a finite number of critical points. We relate the topology of X to the topology of the sets ${X \cap \{ f * \alpha \}}$ , where ${* \in \{\le,=,\ge \}}$ and ${\alpha \in \mathbb{R}}$ , and the indices of the critical points of ${f_{\vert X}}$ and ${-f_{\vert X}}$ . We also relate the topology of X to the topology of the links at infinity of the sets ${X \cap \{ f * \alpha\}}$ and the indices of these critical points. We give applications when ${X=\mathbb{R}^n}$ and when f is a generic linear function.  相似文献

Suppose that n is even. Let ${\mathbb{F}_2}$ denote the two-element field and ${\mathbb{Z}}$ the set of integers. Bent functions can be defined as ± 1-valued functions on ${\mathbb{F}_2^n}$ with ± 1-valued Fourier transform. More generally we call a mapping f on ${\mathbb{F}_2^n}$ a ${\mathbb{Z}}$ -bent function if both f and its Fourier transform ${\widehat{f}}$ are integer-valued. ${\mathbb{Z}}$ -bent functions f are separated into different levels, depending on the size of the maximal absolute value attained by f and ${\widehat{f}}$ . It is shown how ${\mathbb{Z}}$ -bent functions of lower level can be built up recursively by gluing together ${\mathbb{Z}}$ -bent functions of higher level. This recursion comes down at level zero, containing the usual bent functions. In the present paper we start to study bent functions in the framework of ${\mathbb{Z}}$ -bent functions and give some guidelines for further research.  相似文献

Let qp s be a power of a prime number p and let ${\mathbb {F}_{\rm q}}$ be a finite field with q elements. This paper aims to demonstrate the utility and relation of composed products to other areas such as the factorization of cyclotomic polynomials, construction of irreducible polynomials, and linear recurrence sequences over ${\mathbb {F}_{\rm q}}$ . In particular we obtain the explicit factorization of the cyclotomic polynomial ${\Phi_{2^nr}}$ over ${\mathbb {F}_{\rm q}}$ where both r ≥ 3 and q are odd, gcd(q, r) = 1, and ${n\in \mathbb{N}}$ . Previously, only the special cases when r = 1, 3, 5, had been achieved. For this we make the assumption that the explicit factorization of ${\Phi_r}$ over ${\mathbb {F}_{\rm q}}$ is given to us as a known. Let ${n = p_1^{e_1}p_2^{e_2}\cdots p_s^{e_s}}$ be the factorization of ${n \in \mathbb{N}}$ into powers of distinct primes p i , 1 ≤ i ≤ s. In the case that the multiplicative orders of q modulo all these prime powers ${p_i^{e_i}}$ are pairwise coprime, we show how to obtain the explicit factors of ${\Phi_{n}}$ from the factors of each ${\Phi_{p_i^{e_i}}}$ . We also demonstrate how to obtain the factorization of ${\Phi_{mn}}$ from the factorization of ${\Phi_n}$ when q is a primitive root modulo m and ${{\rm gcd}(m, n) = {\rm gcd}(\phi(m),{\rm ord}_n(q)) = 1.}$ Here ${\phi}$ is the Euler’s totient function, and ord n (q) denotes the multiplicative order of q modulo n. Moreover, we present the construction of a new class of irreducible polynomials over ${\mathbb {F}_{\rm q}}$ and generalize a result due to Varshamov (Soviet Math Dokl 29:334–336, 1984).  相似文献

Let ${\mathcal{A}_{\lambda}^2(\mathbb{B}^n)}$ denote the standard weighted Bergman space over the unit ball ${\mathbb{B}^n}$ in ${\mathbb{C}^n}$ . New classes of commutative Banach algebras ${\mathcal{T}(\lambda)}$ which are generated by Toeplitz operators on ${\mathcal{A}_{\lambda}^2(\mathbb{B}^n)}$ have been recently discovered in Vasilevski (Integr Equ Oper Theory 66(1):141?C152, 2010). These algebras are induced by the action of the quasi-elliptic group of biholomorphisms of ${\mathbb{B}^n}$ . In the present paper we analyze in detail the internal structure of such an algebra in the lowest dimensional case n?=?2. We explicitly describe the maximal ideal space and the Gelfand map of ${\mathcal{T}(\lambda)}$ . Since ${\mathcal{T}(\lambda)}$ is not invariant under the *-operation of ${\mathcal{L}(\mathcal{A}_{\lambda}^2(\mathbb{B}^n))}$ its inverse closedness is not obvious and is proved. We remark that the algebra ${\mathcal{T}(\lambda)}$ is not semi-simple and we derive its radical. Several applications of our results are given and, in particular, we conclude that the essential spectrum of elements in ${\mathcal{T}(\lambda)}$ is always connected.  相似文献

Let n ≥ 3, 0 < m ≤ (n ? 2)/n, p > max(1, (1 ? m)n/2), and ${0 \le u_0 \in L_{loc}^p(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ satisfy ${{\rm lim \, inf}_{R\to\infty}R^{-n+\frac{2}{1-m}} \int_{|x|\le R}u_0\,dx = \infty}$ . We prove the existence of unique global classical solution of u t = Δu m , u > 0, in ${\mathbb{R}^n \times (0, \infty), u(x, 0) = u_0(x)}$ in ${\mathbb{R}^n}$ . If in addition 0 < m < (n ? 2)/n and u 0(x) ≈ A|x|?q as |x| → ∞ for some constants A > 0, qn/p, we prove that there exist constants α, β, such that the function v(x, t) = t α u(t β x, t) converges uniformly on every compact subset of ${\mathbb{R}^n}$ to the self-similar solution ψ(x, 1) of the equation with ψ(x, 0) = A|x|?q as t → ∞. Note that when m = (n ? 2)/(n + 2), n ≥ 3, if ${g_{ij} = u^{\frac{4}{n+2}}\delta_{ij}}$ is a metric on ${\mathbb{R}^n}$ that evolves by the Yamabe flow ?g ij /?t = ?Rg ij with u(x, 0) = u 0(x) in ${\mathbb{R}^n}$ where R is the scalar curvature, then u(x, t) is a global solution of the above fast diffusion equation.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the properties of generalized bent functions defined on ${\mathbb{Z}_2^n}$ with values in ${\mathbb{Z}_q}$ , where q ≥ 2 is any positive integer. We characterize the class of generalized bent functions symmetric with respect to two variables, provide analogues of Maiorana–McFarland type bent functions and Dillon’s functions in the generalized set up. A class of bent functions called generalized spreads is introduced and we show that it contains all Dillon type generalized bent functions and Maiorana–McFarland type generalized bent functions. Thus, unification of two different types of generalized bent functions is achieved. The crosscorrelation spectrum of generalized Dillon type bent functions is also characterized. We further characterize generalized bent Boolean functions defined on ${\mathbb{Z}_2^n}$ with values in ${\mathbb{Z}_4}$ and ${\mathbb{Z}_8}$ . Moreover, we propose several constructions of such generalized bent functions for both n even and n odd.  相似文献

We introduce vanishing generalized Morrey spaces ${V\mathcal{L}^{p,\varphi}_\Pi (\Omega), \Omega \subseteq \mathbb{R}^n}$ with a general function ${\varphi(x, r)}$ defining the Morrey-type norm. Here ${\Pi \subseteq \Omega}$ is an arbitrary subset in Ω including the extremal cases ${\Pi = \{x_0\}, x_0 \in \Omega}$ and Π = Ω, which allows to unify vanishing local and global Morrey spaces. In the spaces ${V\mathcal{L}^{p,\varphi}_\Pi (\mathbb{R}^n)}$ we prove the boundedness of a class of sublinear singular operators, which includes Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator and Calderon-Zygmund singular operators with standard kernel. We also prove a Sobolev-Spanne type ${V\mathcal{L}^{p,\varphi}_\Pi (\mathbb{R}^n) \rightarrow V\mathcal{L}^{q,\varphi^\frac{q}{p}}_\Pi (\mathbb{R}^n)}$ -theorem for the potential operator I α . The conditions for the boundedness are given in terms of Zygmund-type integral inequalities on ${\varphi(x, r)}$ . No monotonicity type condition is imposed on ${\varphi(x, r)}$ . In case ${\varphi}$ has quasi- monotone properties, as a consequence of the main results, the conditions of the boundedness are also given in terms of the Matuszeska-Orlicz indices of the function ${\varphi}$ . The proofs are based on pointwise estimates of the modulars defining the vanishing spaces  相似文献

We consider regular oblique derivative problem in cylinder Q T ?=????× (0, T), ${\Omega\subset {\mathbb R}^n}$ for uniformly parabolic operator ${{{\mathfrak P}}=D_t- \sum_{i,j=1}^n a^{ij}(x)D_{ij}}$ with VMO principal coefficients. Its unique strong solvability is proved in Manuscr. Math. 203?C220 (2000), when ${{{\mathfrak P}}u\in L^p(Q_T)}$ , ${p\in(1,\infty)}$ . Our aim is to show that the solution belongs to the generalized Sobolev?CMorrey space ${W^{2,1}_{p,\omega}(Q_T)}$ , when ${{{\mathfrak P}}u\in L^{p,\omega} (Q_T)}$ , ${p\in (1, \infty)}$ , ${\omega(x,r):\,{\mathbb R}^{n+1}_+\to {\mathbb R}_+}$ . For this goal an a priori estimate is obtained relying on explicit representation formula for the solution. Analogous result holds also for the Cauchy?CDirichlet problem.  相似文献

Let D be a non-pseudoconvex open set in ${\mathbb{C}^n}$ and S be the union of all two-dimensional planes with non-empty and non-pseudoconvex intersection with D. Sufficient conditions are given for ${\mathbb{C}^3{\setminus} S}$ to belong to a complex line. Moreover, in the ${{\mathcal{C}}^2}$ -smooth case, it is shown that ${S=\mathbb{C}^n}$ .  相似文献

Homotopy methods are used to find sufficient conditions for the solvability of nonlinear boundary value problems of the form $$(\phi(u^\prime))^\prime = f(t, u, u^\prime), \quad g(u(\alpha), \phi(u^\prime(\beta))) = 0,$$ where (α, β) = (0, 1), (1, 0), (0, 0) or (1, 1), ${\phi}$ is a homeomorphism from the open ball ${B(a) \subset \mathbb{R}^n}$ onto ${\mathbb{R}^n}$ , f is a Carathéodory function, ${g : \mathbb{R}^n \times \, \mathbb{R}^n \rightarrow \mathbb{R}^m}$ is continuous and m ≤ 2n.  相似文献

We show that if G is an upper semicontinuous decomposition ${\mathbb {R}^n, n \ge 4}$ , into convex sets, then the quotient space ${\mathbb {R}^n/G}$ is a codimension 1 manifold factor. In particular, we show that ${\mathbb {R}^n/G}$ has the disjoint arc-disk property.  相似文献

Let ${\Phi}$ be a continuous, strictly increasing and concave function on (0, ∞) of critical lower type index ${p_\Phi^- \in(0,\,1]}$ . Let L be an injective operator of type ω having a bounded H functional calculus and satisfying the k-Davies–Gaffney estimates with ${k \in {\mathbb Z}_+}$ . In this paper, the authors first introduce an Orlicz–Hardy space ${H^{\Phi}_{L}(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ in terms of the non-tangential L-adapted square function and then establish its molecular characterization. As applications, the authors prove that the generalized Riesz transform ${D_{\gamma}L^{-\delta/(2k)}}$ is bounded from the Orlicz–Hardy space ${H^{\Phi}_{L}(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ to the Orlicz space ${L^{\widetilde{\Phi}}(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ when ${p_\Phi^- \in (0, \frac{n}{n+ \delta - \gamma}]}$ , ${0 < \gamma \le \delta < \infty}$ and ${\delta- \gamma < n (\frac{1}{p_-(L)}-\frac{1}{p_+(L)})}$ , or from ${H^{\Phi}_{L}(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ to the Orlicz–Hardy space ${H^{\widetilde \Phi}(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ when ${p_\Phi^-\in (\frac{n}{n + \delta+ \lfloor \gamma \rfloor- \gamma},\,\frac{n}{n+ \delta- \gamma}]}$ , ${1\le \gamma \le \delta < \infty}$ and ${\delta- \gamma < n (\frac{1}{p_-(L)}-\frac{1}{p_+(L)})}$ , or from ${H^{\Phi}_{L}(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ to the weak Orlicz–Hardy space ${WH^\Phi(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ when ${\gamma = \delta}$ and ${p_\Phi=n/(n + \lfloor \gamma \rfloor)}$ or ${p_\Phi^-=n/(n + \lfloor \gamma \rfloor)}$ with ${p_\Phi^-}$ attainable, where ${\widetilde{\Phi}}$ is an Orlicz function whose inverse function ${\widetilde{\Phi}^{-1}}$ is defined by ${\widetilde{\Phi}^{-1}(t):=\Phi^{-1}(t)t^{\frac{1}{n}(\gamma- \delta)}}$ for all ${t \in (0,\,\infty)}$ , ${p_\Phi}$ denotes the strictly critical lower type index of ${\Phi}$ , ${\lfloor \gamma \rfloor}$ the maximal integer not more than ${\gamma}$ and ${(p_-(L),\,p_+(L))}$ the range of exponents ${p \in[1,\, \infty]}$ for which the semigroup ${\{e^{-tL}\}_{t >0 }}$ is bounded on ${L^p(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ .  相似文献

We study CR functions with values in a complex Fréchet space X. We prove a vector valued analog to a result by Baouendi and Trèves (Ann Math 113:387–421, 1981), i.e. any X-valued CR function of Teodorescu class B 1 may be locally approximated by X-valued holomorphic functions on ${{\mathbb C}^n}$ . We show that any CR function ${u \in C^\omega (M, X)}$ on a real analytic CR hypersurface ${M \subset {\mathbb {C}}^n}$ admits a unique holomorphic extension ${f \in {\mathcal {O}}(\Omega, X)}$ to some open neighborhood ${\Omega \supset M}$ .  相似文献

For q = p r with a prime p ≥ 7 such that ${q \equiv 1}$ or 19 (mod 30), the desarguesian projective plane PG(2, q) of order q has a unique conjugacy class of projectivity groups isomorphic to the alternating group A 6 of degree 6. For a projectivity group ${\Gamma \cong A_6}$ of PG(2, q), we investigate the geometric properties of the (unique) Γ-orbit ${\mathcal{O}}$ of size 90 such that the 1-point stabilizer of Γ in its action on ${\mathcal O}$ is a cyclic group of order 4. Here ${\mathcal O}$ lies either in PG(2, q) or in PG(2, q 2) according as 3 is a square or a non-square element in GF(q). We show that if q ≥ 349 and q ≠ 421, then ${\mathcal O}$ is a 90-arc, which turns out to be complete for q = 349, 409, 529, 601,661. Interestingly, ${\mathcal O}$ is the smallest known complete arc in PG(2,601) and in PG(2,661). Computations are carried out by MAGMA.  相似文献

Starting from two Lagrangian immersions and a Legendre curve ${\tilde{\gamma}(t)}$ in ${\mathbb{S}^3(1)}$ $({\rm or\,in}\,{\mathbb{H}_1^3(-1)})$ , it is possible to construct a new Lagrangian immersion in ${\mathbb{CP}^n(4)}$ $({\rm or\,in}\,{\mathbb{CH}^n(-4)})$ , which is called a warped product Lagrangian immersion. When ${\tilde{\gamma}(t)=(r_1e^{i(\frac{r_2}{r_1}at)}, \;r_2e^{i(- \frac{r_1}{r_2}at)})}$ $({\rm or}\,{\tilde{\gamma}(t)=(r_1e^{i(\frac{r_2}{r_1}at)}, \;r_2e^{i( \frac{r_1}{r_2}at)})})$ , where r 1, r 2, and a are positive constants with ${r_1^2+r_2^2=1}$ $({\rm or}\,{-r_1^2+r_2^2=-1})$ , we call the new Lagrangian immersion a Calabi product Lagrangian immersion. In this paper, we study the inverse problem: how to determine from the properties of the second fundamental form whether a given Lagrangian immersion of ${\mathbb{CP}^n(4)}$ or ${\mathbb{CH}^n(-4)}$ is a Calabi product Lagrangian immersion. When the Calabi product is minimal, or is Hamiltonian minimal, or has parallel second fundamental form, we give some further characterizations.  相似文献
